Not even a huge BBQ person, and I really loved it. The chicken was amazing (I ordered the quarter/white version), and the cornbread, coleslaw and mac&cheese were all obviousy made with love. Great addition to our area for Friday family dinner options!

All I can say is this, its average at best. If you want the best bbq in the whole area, check out Big Hoffas in Westfield. Trust me, you wont be disappointed. My fave is the Hoffanator!

Best barbecue in Indy hands down! I haven’t really enjoyed barbecue since moving back up from Tennessee. The spicy bbq sauce is my favorite to go on their ribs, it’s got a nice kick with red chili flakes. Really good mac and cheese, and I like the take on green beans. Also love the cornbread. But may I just give a shout out to maybe the best thing on the menu: the loaded fries with pulled pork, oh my god. Perfectly crispy potatoes and really good cheese sauce, bbq sauce of your choice and jalapeños and diced onions, so perfect. Keep up the great work guys!

I love BBQ so when I heard about this place I just had to check it out. Their relational service is excellent and their food is just as wonderful. When I cut into the ribs, the meat simply fell off the bone and the meat was flavorful and tender. The beef brisket was also excellent. Of the 5 sides I tried, I would highly recommend the fries, green beans, and coleslaw. Their homemade cornbread was delicious and fresh.

Rackz was a pleasant surprise on this spur the moment Indy trip. My hetero life-mate and I travel far and wide from down south to try and test new cuisines so we most certainly know our bbq. The brisket was very moist and had great Smokey flavor. The pulled pork was a very generous portion. The sauces available, though limited, were all equisit. The tangy was by far the best and reminded me of that quintessential bbq sauce we all had growing up. I crave that perfect sauce when visiting bbq joints and Rackz definitely delivered. The fries were a quirky cut, fried to perfection and the Mac and cheese is simply to die for. It literally melts in your mouth. Last but not least the cherry on top was the friendly and personal service, compliments of Natalie. She made us feel so at home and very welcome. Would highly recommend Rackz on all fronts.

My son requested BBQ for his High School graduation and my wife wanted to try a new place and Rackz couldn't be any more convenient for us. We went in to place an order for pick up the next day. The people we talked with were incredibly nice and answered all our questions without hesitation. The food was ready when promised and was hot. The pulled pork, chicken, ribs, fries and sides were amazing. The sauce was fantastic. I am a huge fan of BBQ and this place was the best I have had in a long time. I can't wait to go back and abuse the rest of the menu.

I just wanted to say this place is fantastic. The customer service was phenomenal!!! The man up front at the register was very sweet and friendly. He wasn’t pushy when ordering and comes to check on you when it isn’t busy. He even came and picked up the plates &stuff when my friend was done eating. So I felt like I had to put my own plates away when I was done so I wouldn’t be a bother. They also brought me out a fresh corn bread muffin right out of the oven. Overall, fantastic!!!! &I will be coming back real soon! (Oh also they remember your name! What a great first impression)

Large portions and a good BBQ joint in the north side area. I've been hunting for a new quality BBQ joint for a while since GT South's has closed and haven't been very successful. This place is kind of out in the middle of no where but it is worth the drive and will become the go to spot for BBQ now.

Stopped in for lunch, very friendly employees, good food. Spicy sauce not very spicy. If you like spicy, ask for the "kicked up" tangy sauce. That had some real heat to it.

We were in this place for the first time. We ordered Brisket platter with fries and Mac & cheese, Ribs & pulled pork platter, and chicken platter with two beers. There is a few things I was really disappointed are none of their meats smelled smoked. I even asked the owner why his meats don’t smell smoked. He said he doesn’t know. I didn’t see any smoked rings on the my brisket either. The reason is either the fat layer is too thick or not enough smoking time. And the corn bread they served is so tiny, I could eat one bite without any help of drink. Also their bbq sauces are not good enough of their description, mild, spicy and tangy and are served in 2 ounces containers. I hope they should try harder to prosper for long time. The only reason the neighbors go to this place is no other BBQ places nearby.

This is a really nice, local place. My girls both love the Mac and cheese kids meal, and it came with a side too. The brisket and ribs were good. Isn't the healthiest meal in the world, but hey, everyone ate and had a good time. The people working the counter we're beyond helpful and kind. We'll definitely be back.

I got a combo platter with brisket and ribs. Both meats were fantastic. I was upcharged $2 for the ribs (which I expected, as most restaurants do this) but I was disappointed that I only got 3 bones for that. For $17, I was expecting a bit more meat with my meal and was hoping for 4-5 bones instead. But I will say, the ribs were fantastic, cooked to perfection, juicy, with a great bark...so I can't complain much about what I got. I tried both the tangy and spicy sauce and really liked both (they tasted great mixed together too). For sides I did mac and cheese and string beans. The beans surprised me and had a lot of flavor! The mac and cheese was fine, but nothing great. Tasted kind of grainy and like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. It was fine, but nothing special. Overall I'll definitely be back to try out some of the other meats!

Clean, order at the counter BBQ joint. Combo platters deliver an impressive amount of food with a great food to price ratio. Most importantly, delicious. The ribs were solid and the three in house sauces were well rounded and flavorful.

Tried the Combo platter with pulled pork, brisket, add $2 ribs & tangy sauce. We felt the food portion/value/price was just right. Our side was mac & cheese and there was a corn bread muffin too. We had the iced tea to wash it all down...Our favorite by far were the ribs, so flavorful and delicious. Our 2nd favorite was the pulled pork. It had some end piece flavoring bits and it was tender. The brisket was ok, but plain in flavor, not as tender more dry. I did like that it wasn't as greasy as the other times we'd tried BBQ. I can't compare it to any other place here, we just moved here. The tangy sauce was thick and delicious, vinegary and not too sweet but a little, just right in our book. We saved the extra, there were 6 dip cups of BBQ. All the meat comes just plain without sauce & you add how you want. The mac & cheese was full of cheese, but not as good as some homemade recipes, not baked. The corn bread also, I could take it or leave it, but I generally LOVE corn breads. It had a tiny bite of jalapeno. It was extra soft & tender. The tea was beautiful, clear and fresh ~ a delicious black tea, but expensive for a pretty small glass we agree. We would go here again and go for all pulled pork with ribs!

Our party of 5 stopped in for the first time tonight after hearing all the good reviews. We all had the brisket or pulled pork dinners. The young man at the counter was very nice and seemed knowledgeable of the menu. After ordering we found a table, looked around, and were impressed with the decor and cleanliness. Didn't take long for our meals to arrive, and WOW, what a table full of food! The brisket and pork were both juicy and tender. Great BBQ flavor and the sauce ( we got both sweet and zesty) were spot on. The sides, oh the sides. You never really know what your going to get when you order mac-n- cheese, or slaw, when your out. Well, they both are great here! Both are obviously home made. The slaw is not to sweet, its creamy and has an interesting spice I couldn't place. The MAC---- All 5 of us had it, and all 5 dishes were empty. Creamy, cheesy, and thankfully not too salty. Finally, the corn bread muffins---hot, moist, and whipped butter---YUM! We all left stuffed, and had a bit of a snack to take home. They even included little to go cups of BBQ sauce to go. Nice touch! Welcome to the neighborhood, and keep doin what your doin! We will definitely be back very soon.

My wife and I ate here last night after a nice walk down Hazel Dell. Friendly service and the food was brought out in short order. I have to say that the loaded fries were the real star of the meal and can be readily customized with a variety of meat and topping options. My main was the brisket sandwich very filling but a bit on the dry side but towards the end of the day I wasn’t expecting something right out of the smoker. Very pleased with the overall experience.

Very tasty. Our party had a mix of the brisket and the pulled pork. Both were quite tasty! The fries, coleslaw and mac-n-cheese sides were also very good. We really enjoyed the dinner and liked the store as well. The employees were very friendly and helpful in making selections. The store is kept clean and neat. We had the pulled pork sandwich with extra pork, a side of fries and green beans. My 15 yo and I split it and it was plenty for us. Some of the best BBQ I have ever had! I was totally surprised. I personally didn’t love the green beans, they have a lemon pepper spice that I didn’t care for. But I bet some would love them. The fries were great! And the pulled pork was phenomenal!! Ask to try all 3 sauces. No extra charge. We will be back, no doubt

The brisket was good and the sauce was tasty, however it has Carmel prices. I was very disappointed when I ordered 2 pounds to go and they wanted to charge me $3 for sauce. The sauce is a huge reason to go get BBQ. I probably will stick with eating BBQ in Westfield and eat all the sauce I want with the bottle on my table.

I love having more vegan options around, so when I heard they had jackfruit, I had to see for myself. The establishment is very clean and the staff that I met was friendly. I ordered jackfruit with tangy sauce and it had just enough of a kick to pair with the sweetness. The jackfruit was tender and serving size was just a little more than perfect. I will definitely be coming back!

We love BBQ, so we had to try this place -- it came highly recommended by a friend of ours from Kansas City, so he KNOWS of what he speaks! The fries are a little different, but really good. The meal was really good but the service was excellent. We were warmly greeted and the menu was explained to us before we ordered. When I found out they had Wick's sugar cream pie for dessert, I of course had to get a piece. (I don't know if they always have it, so if that's why you're going, call first!) :) The young man told me that the pie was not fully thawed yet. He apologized, but it's no big deal when the other option is cake from Three Sisters Bakery! When the manager brought it out to our table, he said, "I heard you really wanted pie and I'm sorry, so I brought you an extra big piece of cake!" And it was delicious! That is good service. For the service, the food, and God willing, some wonderful dessert, we will DEFINITELY be back!

My brisket was quite dry and the fries tasted very frozen. Part of my portion of brisket was stringy and stiff. Fries lacked any seasoning or salt or anything. My friends enjoyed their pulled pork and we liked the burnt ends but they said that the green bean seasoning was awful after one bite. Really had my hopes up for a new local barbecue spot.

Food was great. BBQ sauce they give you is hot(temp). Which is a big plus most places it’s just room temperature. Seems like a small thing but makes a huge difference. Also all the side dishes we got were fantastic some of the best I’ve had at a bbq place. The place was very clean and all the staff was nice. Definitely worth giving a try!!

Drove a long distance due to the great rating hoping for some great BBQ. Went in 12:15pm it was very slow no one in front of us just an order on the pass ready to serve. 15 minutes later on one even greeted us and food remained at the pass a an employee awkwardly walk in and out of the kitchen walking in circles multiple times and wouldn’t even make eye contact. At 20 minutes all 6 of us left hungry and iritated back yo work we go with empty stomaches what a joke!
