This is not the small town amazing BBQ joint I was hoping for. I ordered rib tips, pulled pork, Mac and cheese and green beans. The rib tips were mostly cartilage, the pulled pork was mushy and didn't have any texture and they were both slathered in a sickeningly sweet BBQ sauce. Good smoked meat should stand on it's own and the sauve should be on the side. The green beans were over cooked and so were the macaroni for the Mac and cheese. I will not be going back.

The only suggestion I have is for the sides to be bigger because you get a big old plate a rib tips and these little itty bitty touch the sides I think y'all could do better on that but the food is awesome

I have visited the Indy location on Pendleton Pike twice. The rib tips are decent but I'm not sure if they're cooked on a real charcoal grill but they're okay. The sides are horrible definitely not homemade they had no flavor and not worth the money at all. Overall this restaurant is overpriced and we will not be returning we'll take the drive to King Ribs.

I did not have a great experience here. I waited 30 minutes for a Angus beef brisket sandwich and two sides. First things first, the cut off meat was not brisket and I don't think it was Angus either. The side were luke warm and not that good. Second, the meals were very expensive and I am more then willing to pay more for good food but that is not this restaurant. Sandwich, 2 sides and a Coke $12.41. if you are looking for good BBQ take a pass off this restaurant.

Took about 20 minutes to be seen by our server. Extremely understaffed. Server was kind. Food came out fast. Pulled pork was fantastic. A small side is the size of a shot glass, large is slightly bigger. Our water cups had a gross white residue on them. Because it was our first time here we got a free desert. Cute place. Not well managed.

Man. Great BBQ . Small low key vibe. Friendly staff . They do one thing really well , and that's cool. Every thing I had tasted fresh and hand made (I ate later in the evening , right about closing time). Tremendous flavor on all the meats. Good sauce . And the deserts were amazing as well. I dubbed it Soul BBQ to the group I was with , because that's the exact vibe I got. Soul food , but with BBQ instead. An absolute must try if you're in the area.

The service was really slow, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks to come out and we were 3 of the 5 people at the Pitt. The portion sizes are really small for the prices they have listed. A large Mac and cheese was probably 6 ounces and was $2.50. The food was good but nothing amazing, I felt like I could get the same quality elsewhere. Another thing that I disliked was the fact that there was some sort of white powder all around our glasses and in our waters. The best thing was that first time customers get free desert.

BBQ was great with that fire pit flavor. They give you lots of food and lots of sauce. We got the 4 meat combo and then extra sides for our 5 person family and there was plenty. Top it off with some amazing sweet potato pie, banana delight and cherry cheese pie. Our waitress was super fun and helpful for us first timers....thank you!!!!

Our family ordered turkey and ham that was promised to be "smoked to the bone" for Thanksgiving. Today, Friday, nothing but a carcass remains. Fantastic! Even the turkey breast was juicy.
