First time visit. It was a warm and pleasant atmosphere. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive. I was recommended a meal from another customer. It was good but it could've been a little hotter temperature wise. I enjoyed the caesar salad and bread with oil as well. I'd definitely go back if I stay in that area for work again.

The food was excellent. The staff is very friendly. We didn't have to wait to b seated n the waitress was always asking if we needed anything. We also didn't have to wait long for our food. The most friendliest atmosphere and servers at a restaurant that I have been to in a very long time. Thank you. Our family of 10 had great food and drinks. All items of food were great, from grilled chicken salad to Veal Parmigiana...plenty on your plate. Keep up the fantastic jobs.

We had family come for a get together for our son visiting home from his Air Force duty. We decided on Pesto’s because we enjoy dining at Stacks and the obvious they are the same owners. 15 adults and 5 children. Reservations were made and a menu selected. We arrived at the inconvenient time of 3pm on Sunday afternoon because they couldn’t accommodate us at a later time with more than a week notice. Our party was split and we couldn’t even speak to 10 people because of where they were located in the dining area. The vodka chicken was almost inedible to the point one guest couldn’t eat and they were reluctant to take it off the bill. Almost $500 dollars later ( gratuity included) we each had a salad and entree with stale bread and lukewarm water and tea. The cocktails for 3 guests were the only positive in the dining experience. The server looked as if he was petrified and the experience was disappointing. For a young man serving his country with his veteran brothers next to him, made me embarrassed to have chosen this establishment. My other son is getting married and I wouldn’t have his rehearsal dinner here if I was paid $500. We would have had a better experience at Longhorn or Applebee’s. And we paid the gratuity even though the server was not good but he knew he was getting the gratuity regardless of the service based on the number of people in the party. Never again will I dine there and I may never return to Stacks after this experience. And I’m a restaurant manager so I know good and bad service and this was awful. And not one discount for any senior citizens or military. Completely shameful for any establishment.

I love the lighting in Pesto’s! A little dim gives it a relaxing romantic environment. The bread is so fresh and warm it’s honestly my favorite part of the whole restaurant. The reason I gave 4 stars is because after trying a few different entrees I still haven’t found one I love. They’ve all been somewhat bland to me. But there is a good variety of options so I am still looking for something I like. Lastly the red velvet cake is a tie for my favorite part of Pesto’s. It is so good I have gotten it every time I’ve gone!!

Management is absolutely atrocious. I have an awful meal and they refused to take the dish off, even though I hardly touched it. The restaurant was also understaffed and our waitress was running around like a crazy person. Definitely needs some changes!!!

Pesto's is , in my opinion, one of the top restaurants in this area. The inside has great decor, the tables and booths are laid out nicely. The food is Italian, and so good. Their bread sticks are one of a kind and too good to pass up. After your yummy meal they bring the desert tray over, it's hard to resist. Go.

Pesto's remains one of the best places to sit down and eat in Valparaiso. The food tastes great, the portions are large, the prices are reasonable. Sometimes there's a wait on or near holidays. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or an everyday meal.

We went to Pesto's this week for my husband's birthday great food and service. We had a party of 9 so we trying a variety of appetizers and entrees everything was wonderful. Prices and portions were great. Will definitely be going back! Our servers name was Madison she was new but you would have never known it she was on her game all night.

Wife and I had our baby shower here. The staff were exceptionally friendly. We ended up staying over our time by 30 mins, but were never rushed out. Great food in large portions.

Pesto's looks from outside like a typical mediocre Italian restaurant chain that you would see in strip malls across the middle of the county. But don't be deceived. The food is great. There is a very diverse menu with higher end choices like lobster, tuna steaks and veal. Four veal choices and group dining make it a perfect place for a special outing. Portions are incredibly large and entrees come with fresh bread and a well made side. The inside the restaurant is cavernous and low lit. The service was above my expectations.

I enjoy going to pestos, however, their accommodations could be better. As a senior citizen, the restrooms leave a lot to be desired! MacDonalds has better bathroom facilities. You have no high rise toilets making it extremely difficult for someone like myself to use the restroom. I have had two major hip surgeries and squating can be difficult. In addition to that the toilets are not secure. They move when you sit down. I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels this way. I, however, am not afraid to mention it. You cater to a lot of seniors and I'm sure they would appreciate an updated bathroom.

Literally my favorite restaurant ever. Never disappointed when I leave here. Favorite thing to order? Chicken parmesan & Cajun Chicken & rice. Only complaint? Yes they're packed every time I go but that's only because they have delectable food!

I went with my love and my sister and niece. The buffet was AWESOME, just as I last remembered it 2 be about a year ago. It was a great variety and I tried dishes I wouldn't normally try. The pumpkin or squash ravioli (I don't recall)was sweet and yummy omg.. my favorite.. sausage and peppers was AMAZING, THE PIZZA WAS AMAZING, THE BREAD PUDDING WAS AMAZING. THE PRICE WAS AMAZING ... This place is always good. They have wonderful pasta, but the desserts and cocktails are what my husband and I come for most! On date nights, we usually stop here last to enjoy their awesome and homemade desserts. I try other places' creme brulee, but always come back here. Reservations only! Or they sit you at the door and tell you that you have an hour to eat then get out because someone else who had reservations needs your table. Place wast 2/3 empty when this happened. Stay away from these rude people!

I had my daughter's baby shower here yesterday (March 3, 2019). All I can say is it was perfect. From the moment we got to Pesto's and started setting up some decorations, we were welcomed and the offer of assistance from staff was made on a continual basis. The food was absolutely incredible (the buffet). I only wish I would have gone back for seconds (I'm regretting that I didn't). The services was A+, the food was wonderful, the atmosphere was perfect, and of course I give them 5 stars (I would give 10 if I could). Everyone complimented me on how wonderful the shower was, and those who had never been to Pesto's before, stated that they would definitely be making the trip. Thanks Pesto's for making sure we all had a wonderful time. We will be back very, very soon.
