Customer service sucks & food is bare minimum standards , I am new to Indian cuisine but I been to few Indian food restaurants around Indianapolis and this one is the worst experience food quality wise , portion and over all cleanliness. They charged my card an extra $11.59 by “ mistake “ and the lady behind the counter won’t even apologize instead gave me a funny look . If I tried to ask them to give me basic description of the dish I am about to order , she mocked me but I don’t know what she said , she was speaking foreign language. Poor poor service and I definitely don’t recommend this place

Food quality is horrible. Even after letting the server know the food is not good she wouldn't take the food for replacement. Neither did she work on refund for the dish. People eating here are mostly truck drivers. Not for regular family with kids. Will not recommend this place to anyone.

When you hunt for an authentic indian dhaba style food, this restaurant is on top among my fav indy restaurants. Interior and ambiance is ok but for food lovers this does not matter a lot.. I really likes the taste of food specially chole bhature in veg and mutton curry- roti in non veg.

Delicious and authentic food in a no-frills environment. The chole bhature was absolutely amazing and so were the other dishes. Only downside was our food took an unusually long time to come. I can't remember the last time I had to wait this long to get food at a restaurant (a truck stop nonetheless)

This place locks their doors at 9:30. I think they'll allow you to sit in until 10 PM to finish your food if you were inside the dining area by 9:30. I reached there at 9:40 and was told that they are closed. Would be nice if they can mention this on their website... Oh wait! They don't have a website :( Maybe they can correct the hours on Yelp and Google. This place was highly recommended by my friends. Next time will be there early to get some food and will update this review.

I have a very clean and strict diet with no health issues whatsoever. The Fish Pakora gave me food poisoning within 18 hours. I advise the management to check their fish suppliers for freshness. I advise customers to check management before ordering fish.

ONLY COME HERE IF YOU LIKE TO EAT HUMAN HAIR I went there this afternoon with couple of my friends for lunch , and we ordered 3 plate kulche cholay- after getting our food when my friend saw hair follicles in his kuchay plate , and after looking closely I found hair in my plate also , when we asked them , they offered to replace two orders , when we got our food again they had small eye brow hair in them , we couldn’t eat the food and left it untouched , when we asked them about bill , instead of showing any courtesy or apology they blamed that those are our own hair , and charged us for 5 ordered $64 - 3 original orders and 2 replacement orders , I would never go to this place again - local county health should take note and give them a surprise food service inspection .

First time ordered but the lady on the phone couldn’t understand my ordered so without even asking her colleague, she just made chicken Manchurian instead, unbelievable. Not only that when i paid her cash then she said take your change some another day. Do you think I would drive back from miles just to get my change , I think this the best trick to take an extra money from customers. I won’t go back again ....

Go here for the extraordinary food. I recommend the parathas! When you order them in-store, they'll serve the parathas to you with a dollop of butter which just transports me back to an authentic dhaba in India. Ignore the ambience and the cramped quarters. A table can seat five people max. If your party is bigger, you'll have to sit at separate tables which can't be joined. This is a run-down diner but the food hits the right spot!

I stumbled upon this little Indian diner recently and it has quickly become one of my favorites in Indy. It's small (which I enjoy), there's never any wait to be seated and the timing of food from order to kitchen to table is pretty good. The food itself is delicious! The price is a bit on the higher end but the flavor is worth it in my opinion. I'm definitely making this a regular place to eat in Indy.

The food is very average in taste and quantity is ok as most of the indian restaraunt in this area. We ordered one paneer curry and chole bature both had extra turmeric for there version of spicy. Bread with curry was not good but it was three so u dont need more to order but they dont taste that great and got hard so very soon. Batura was average. Fish fry was ok with bad chutney. Maybe the place is only for parathas and not for curry. Service was good and fast, sitting is not comfortable for 4 or more as its a small place.

I was told about this place from someone. So I have it a shot. I went the first time with my son. We got a few different things to try. I will say hands down this place is the place to go for a home cooked meal. I have tried all the India food places in INDY. They all try to make the food more and more palatable for American taste. This place not so much. This is like me going home and having dinner at my mom house in NY. I do know a lil about India restaurant b/c my parents own one in upstate NY. I know the difference between Restaurantt cooking and home cooking and this place is home cooking.

I literally just left there, I called on the phone and ordered 2 Extra Hot Chicken Karahi and a 12 piece Tandoori chicken , Now First of all they let all they're cooks on break at the same time and said at 3:40pm that nobody would be available until 430pm which is just unprofessional anyways, Then I'm tasting my first karahi that was ready and it was not spicy at ALL ! I asked the lady why it's not spicy and she acted like she didn't know and just said she'd give me sauce to make it spicy with an attitude, then I asked her where my rice was that came with my Karahi , WHILE IM SHOWING HER MY RECIPTS that clearly says rice comes with it and I was charged extra for it, and she RUDELY reply's " no I gave you extra Naan so you can't get the rice " I say " no I payed for extra Naan" so she rudely says " well I'm on my break so you'll have to wait till I'm finished taking my break and walks off " ! Literally the rudest, saddest, unprofessional place ive been to and seen so far! I'd recommend everyone NOT TO EAT HERE NOR BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE , They're scammers and you definitely don't get your money's worth! Just ridiculous

Others reviews complaining about dirty bathroom is true. But again, I would ignore that considering the difference between Dhaba and a restaurant. Food wise it is a okay place. I had a goat meat dish and I liked it. My friend however went for a chicken dish, which he was not happy at all about. The naan/ roti are okay, but I would expect them to be much softer if they were fresh made.

Bad food expensive , unhygienic restaurant and dirty restrooms , restaurant smells like wet vomit , when I complained about a long female hair in prontha bread , instead of apologizing the tall indian lady blamed me that I am making it up and I put the hair in food , ( I am guy with short hair cut ) I tried to her how can it be my hair , she rudely replied that I am trying to get free food by putting that hair in prontha bread , There is a another Indian Punjabi Dhaba on I70 exit 41 cloverdale, they are much friendly people, please don’t waste your money at this place , the owner lady is rude and have no manners or customer service . Boycott this restaurant, this restaurant is located in rough part of town , there will be risk of getting mugged out in parking lot , so please don’t waste your money here

Bad food and Rude Indian cashier lady , I am a truck driver and I like to try out new cuisines and I have had Indian food multiple times , so I ordered fish pakoras , when she brought my order, it was cold and the plate was dirty , when I complained she gave me bad looks and told me if I can’t afford I shouldn’t have come there , now I don’t get offended easy but that was in called for , DONT GO TO THIS PLACE- you will waste your money
