This Restaurant belongs to the category of Sushi restaurant.
Good quality sushi, nah great sushi. But you order per two pieces for dinner. There were no appealing combos or boats that you see at other restaurants. Which would be nice because you would get a better idea of what you are spending. Which means you only get what you want, but it adds up quickly. And you pay for the quality. I would go back, if someone else was paying. Wait what did I say no I'm coming out if I said I come out you need a little more light though Daniel
Very good food but pricey. We spent $80 for a family of four, with no drinks other than water, and still had to eat something when we came home. Good if you're ready to splurge.
I can not speak to the price, tasty, or quality of the food as we were so completely disregarded we left. We went in on a Friday night where about half of the tables were filled. One of the waitresses saw us and said she would be with us in a moment. We said okay great she knows we are here. Then she proceeds to bring drinks to multiple tables, deliver food, deliver a check, and then take an order and head in back probably to turn in the order. We definitely do not mind waiting especially when it looks like someone is working hard but really 10 minutes standing next to the door, do not make your customers look like fools there are too many other restaurants in the same strip.
Great environment, great sushi, very large portion soups
Great sushi spot with creative flavors. Only negative is the price, very expensive!
This place is fairly new and deserves your money. I'm a big fan of sushi and got lured in here with a discount from work. From the upscale, classy atmosphere i figured i was going to break the bank on their food. But no, they're incredibly competitive with their pricing. And then the food comes out. Oh my! I've never had more delicious and splendidly presented sushi in all of Indianapolis or Carmel. This place was so good that i took coworkers back for lunch, and then my family for dinner the next day. The staff is incredible, the sushi is mouth watering (my personal favorite being the Kazan roll), and the entire place is clean and fresh. Next time you're in the mood for sushi, go straight to Miracle.
Fantastic service and amazing food. We really enjoyed the smoked salmon roll and desserts
Good fresh Sushi and very nice owner. I will be back.
This was a great surprise in Carmel IN! Great interesting sushi, yum!
Sushi was good. I enjoyed it, but it didn't blow me away. Service was weak, would probably have been 4 star but for that.
High quality sushi. Best in Carmel. Plus, full bar and unique sake.
Really disappointed with how small the portion of sushi you get for the price. Spent $80 and left hungry. We will never go back.
Very nice ambiance. Delicious food, fantastic service. Had a wonderful dinner that both I & my finicky husband enjoyed. They were very accommodating for our special requests (can't eat hot spicy food). Octopus salad was delicious. Octopus can often be tough, but this was tender and quite tasty.
Priced high, Not really that good of quality. $9 can of local beer that ses high. Must be the location location location.
I have to disagree with brads review. I found the setting great. No gimmicks here with flashy cooks or waitresses wearing short skirts. This place is legit. I see where some people could complain about the portion sizes, but that's probably because they go to gimmicky places like naked chopstix. Where you're paying for fish that's probably not even labeled correctly. The two rolls we tried were amazing in flavor which made up for the smaller portion sizes. The price was fair for the level of sushi you're getting. If you want buffet try some other places. Rolls I recommend Firecracker and the appleblossom. Service was good, food was at least a 9/10 on flavor, price was that of a 4 or 5 star place which this is. I'll be returning for sure. Quick facts the sushi chef has been making sushi for 35 years and all their sauces are made in house. That was what makes the rolls Pop. Sorry if you had a bad experience Brad but I can't say I did. If judging a sushi place based on its quality of coco cola products is your standard , then perhaps we should skip your reveiews all together. L8er
Outstanding sushi
Nice people, excellent sushi, had a great time with friends!
A little pricey but so worth it if you love sushi!!!
Holy cow. 2 of the best vegetarian sushi rolls I've ever had. Must come. I'm going to be a regular here now
This place was fantastic (food, service and waitress). I wish I could give them more stars.
You MUST try the apple fusion drink!
I didn't like sushi at all to my friends dragged me here. Best I've ever had. Family run and the owner is a very cool guy
Amazing food qaulity and service. If u love sushi you will love Miracle.
Very good service and tasty sushi. We all shared flaming dragon, orange salmon, miso soup, fried rice, wasabi garlic mashed potato, california rolls, chicken dumplings were all zesty.
Food was delicious. The flaming dragon was so good I had to order another one before even finishing the first.
The food is great!!
Friendly people and the food is always good.
Food was horrible service was ok again horrible food
Very expensive, very slow.
We have been here 4 times now and have not had a bad thing. Sushi is great but there are a bunch of other entrees as well. Definitely recommend the crab Rangoon. It is not what you have ever had before.
Great menu, atmosphere and wonderful people! I could eat those egg rolls every day!
Best sushi restaurant in the state of Indiana!
I have been to Miracle twice for sushi and salad. The salad was ok, but was not worth the $6. The sushi is expensive for the quality and quantity received. I eat sushi all over, and you can find 10 places on the north side that have better quality and better prices. Finally, they don't have any lunch sushi combo specials in the $10-15 range, so if you want sushi for lunch, expect to pay $25+.
Good sushi and nice staff! But pricey but so worth it!
I feel confident in saying it's the best sushi in the metro Indy area. So happy it's near me us Carmel.
Been thinking about the food here since I left! My boyfriend & I stopped in on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago & were so pleased! He told me a lot of great things about it & I was blown away by the food as well. The whole atmosphere seems really down to earth & laid back. I forget our server’s name but she was amazing. We will definitely be back soon to try a couple different rolls!
Sushi was nothing great, little bummed. It was a nice spot, good atmosphere. I live for sushi, if you're like me, this may not be your stop.
The food was fantastic! Try the Sashimi salad. I have never had anything like it before! All in all a great experience!
$68 for 2 miso soups, 2 philly rolls, 1 shrimp tempura roll, 1 spicy tuna roll, and fried rice. Very disappointed in the portion sizes and the prices. Who charges $20 for fried rice?!?
I've been here many times to meet with clients and friends. The owner and his father(sushi chef) and the rest of the staff are very aware of what the meaning of customer service is. Bottom line is service and food are excellent!!!
My son and I each had a roll. I added on a soft drink and a salad. Total bill high 30s. Nothing wrong with the food but nothing outstanding either. I had the rainbow roll and I found the jalapeño in it overpowering. My son's roll was really small. I work in the area and the tap water was clearly just that - straight out of the tap. Has the same bad taste as the unfiltered water in the office. Yes it is free but that doesn't mean it has to taste bad. The problem is that the coke probably is not filtered either and I AM paying for that. I found the atmosphere depressing. Dark blue everywhere. Walls ceiling booth chairs carpet . what wasn't dark blue was black. Limited lighting. We were there for lunch. Perhaps in the evening it would have a better vibe. Maybe I am too accustomed to expecting sushi restaurants to have more of an Asian theme. Everything was clean. Service was friendly if a bit lacking in attentiveness. My soft drink took 10 minutes to appear. I received a refill promptly but once the check was paid wasn't offered another refill. I suppose it is on me to request a refill at the end. Food took a long time to come out. We were one of two tables with patrons. I think this place could be more appealing with some simple changes. I am enough of a sushi lover that I would go back as long as someone else is picking up the tab.
We found Miracle Sushi while passing through Carmel, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was comfortable and family friendly (cozy booths and banquettes), but the food was amazing. The menu was filled with interesting appetizers, entrees and rolls including a good selection of interesting vegetarian sushi rolls. The most interesting part of the experience was that my husband said one of the rolls was the best he'd ever had in his life. He's eaten at Nobu, Uchi and other more expensive places, so this was quite a proclamation. We had a good time and would definitely go back again.
wonderful sushi. and great customer service!
Exceptional food, freshly prepared and all home made and family run, the only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the service was very very slow... Don't come if you're in a hurry but come for fantastic food!
Love the food and service
Awesome family owned sushi place. Great rolls and friendly service.
Terrible pricing for plates that really only have 3 bites of food. Also, no non-seafood plates unless you're a child. So if you hate seafood like me and want meat, go elsewhere because they don't accommodate unless you're young enough to order from the kids menu. Sorry I visited your restaurant with the wife who likes seafood and got trapped with your high priced mini-portions. Too bad you couldn't offer me anything unless I was a child. That's a bad business model because instead of taking my money for meat, I had to go to a competitor next door who doesn't age discriminate.
Great service wouldn't recommend anywhere else
Delicious sushi, good service, we will return.
Spectacular everything. Service, food and drinks.
This is the best sushi restaurant in Hamilton County. You can go to other restaurants and get the same sushi as anywhere else. Not at Miracle. Sean and his father bring new combinations and flavors to not only sushi, but Asian cuisine. This is our favorite place to eat. You are really made to feel like one of the family.
Great sushi.
Carmel proud pricing with excellent quality. Good food, good drinks (full bar) and small family owned and operated atmosphere. Worth a visit.
Best Sushi. Our favorite place very creative
Very good. It is fairly pricey but worth it if you want quality sushi
I'm annoyed with myself I haven't tried this place sooner. Everything we had was excellent. We'll be back.
Good food, friendly staff, nice and clean dining area. The downside is that the sushi plates do not include a soup, or some other side dish. Still a very good dining experience overall.
Would be 5 stars but WAY overpriced compared to other similar places nearby.
Food is delicious and creative, always a wonderful experience here. Don't let the strip mall location keep you away.
Great service and excellent menu options!
Delicious food and wonderful service!
Have always had great service and excellent food here. Unique take on sushi!
THE best sushi place in central Indiana! Fresher ingredients than anywhere else. Unique rolls. Delicious entrees. Amazing cocktails. Come here if you want 5 star food with 5 star service! Only drawback: once you eat here, you’ll never want sushi from anywhere else
This is by far some of the best sushi I've ever had! Atmosphere is great and service was out of this world.
Great Menu, Great service ...
Sushi is unique, we'll priced, and most importantly it's delicious. Staff is very friendly.
Really unique rolls.
The food is so fresh! And the family is so very nice. Definitely my very favorite Sushi / Asian restaurant in the city!
Really impressed with the sushi rolls. Ask the server for the popular ones and you will not be disappointed. I remember one of my favorites was the crunchy delight. Anything with crunchy in the name is amazing, but try as many different things that sound good to you.
Best sushi in Indianapolis. The prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for. The best sushi roll on the menu is the Apple Blossom. Sometimes we order 5 Apple Blossoms and call it a night! They make homemade soy sauce unlike most other sushi restaurants. Great atmosphere and a really nice selection of wines. The staff is always friendly as can be.
Great service, amazing sushi, grab tasting seaweed salad!
Our favorite shushi bar in the area by far.
First time visiting Miracle Sushi. The waitress was attentive. (Tuesday night with the main road to the shopping area under construction and closed). Everything was what I expected. Waitress introduced me to other restaurants in the area but given what I received today, I would come back again.
Mostly good food, my Rainbow roll however was made with very hard old rice. There were small portion sizes and they dont offer soup or salad included in the already somewhat high prices. Service was alright, not great.
Delicious food. Great service.
Service and sushi are great
The sushi here was absolutely amazing. The roll named "The Miracle", truly is. The price tag is also unfortunately expectedly high, but is a clear example of "getting what you pay for." The service was very friendly and helpful. We had never tried Uni before, but our server explained their preparation of the urchin very accurately. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. The decor was upscale and detailed, and the entire atmosphere was one of relaxing fine dining. There were a number of Korean dishes with which we were unfamiliar, so we mostly stuck with sushi. Will definitely be back, the only question will be whether we order the dishes that we loved the first time, or adventure to something new.
This is our favorite sushi place. Sean, the owner and host is awesome. His father is the sushi chef and has been doing it for 40 yrs or some such. His rolls are awesome and the fish is always the highest quality. All of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great looking restaurant too.
Great flavors. Such a creative pallet scape they create with their rolls. Attentive service and relaxed atmosphere.
I like it very much .clean and delicious
I finally had a chance to take my mother out for her Christmas present (a dinner anywhere she wanted). She wanted sushi and it was my choice. I had never been to Miracle before, but I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It is a bit pricey, but I have never better sushi. Even when I was in Hawaii. Everything was extremely fresh and the Chefs creations were visionary. Service was very friendly and attentive. I couldn't have picked a better place to treat my mom to her Christmas dinner.
Unique presentations on traditional dishes
Solid. On par with alot of other places as far as fish quality. A little pricey for what you get, but it's close and convenient. The gas money you'd use to drive elsewhere would even things out.
Best place in the area for sushi. Owners are very nice. Try the sparkling sake it's heavenly...
Best Sushi place we have ever been to. We will become regulars!!! Awesome!!!
Amazing place. I travel and eat out a lot and this place is hands down a delight.
The BEST
Delicious food and incredible service. What more do you need.
Quality food and service. The standard sushi rolls are on the higher end of quality and the dishes are unique enough to come back for. We started going there when we had a new toddler, and they took it on their self to make kid friendly noodle dishes that were off menu and still quality, not normal kids noodles and butter.
I had some of my friends from coastal New Hampshire try Miracle. They are sushi snobs and I wanted to know if I can recommend this restaurant to people who LOVE sushi. They came away raving about Miracle. I would say that anybody who likes sushi at all will love Miracle.
This place is delicious! Sean is one of the best servers/bartenders. Do it! You won't be disappointed.
The real deal!
I love this place. The sushi is always fresh and delicious plus lots of different style rolls. Drinks are also delicious. Good calm atmosphere . Need some more bangers to play for the youth but other than that I recommend this spot 100%.
Great atmosphere, menu, service!!
We had the flaming dragon and it was so good! Tasted very fresh! Looking forward to going back to try other rolls
Great creative sushi. Honestly I never seen a menu like theirs where I live. Staff was attentive and polite. Its a bit up scale and the price reflects that. Maybe I'm just a bit out of their target demographic but I would of liked a bit more for the price I paid like a soup and salad like other places offer. I would of also liked non alchohalic drink options as well. Overall great sushi and atmosphere for date night or a business dinner.
This might be the best sushi place in Carmel right now. Their sushi was very fresh and very delicious. They have an excellent and professional staff that do a great job of serving you. The food was prepared so well and again was extremely tasty. We had calamari as an app that was very good, every sushi roll we tried was also delicious. It's a little expensive (like every good sushi place is and should be) but 100% worth it!
Delicious Sushi
Lovely staff and amazing food. Smaller portions, but filling
It looks great, but that's about all they have. But the food came in tiny portions, was fairly mediocre, and costs a fortune.
I stopped in here at Miracle one day after work around 9 PM. It was just me, and I typically like to eat sushi alone. The experience at Miracle was really great as the team was great. They were ready to serve and make everything happy quickly. I order two sushi rolls and for what I got I just felt like they were a bit over priced. I paid $18 for one of the rolls and it was noting to brag about. I think that for a quick place with a cool environment this was awesome. If you are looking for a great sushi place for the food, maybe try some other places around town. I have heard really great things about the other food here and I think I will give it a try sometime.
Sean and the crew are wonderful
Best place on Indy to get sushi. Super fresh and a good variety of different rolls. Super friendly and attentstive staff and chefs are always welcoming. Favorites are the miracle and apple blossom roll. A little more expensive than other places in Indy but worth it!
Favorite sushi restaurant in all of Hamilton County. Always excellent service, strong cocktails, and delicious imaginative rolls. The Apple Blossom is my favorite roll anywhere. Smoked salmon, slivered apples, jalapeno puree, sweet wasabi sauce, cilantro, and masago. The steamed dumplings and raw oysters make up my favorite appetizers. Never once had a bad experience at Miracle....
Over priced menu - totally disappointed
Firecracker sushi is to die for
Great food and service! Always fun to try something new.
Best Sushi in Carmel! Loved this sushi experience! It was the best I've had since moving to the greater Indy area. Everything was very fresh and the flavor combinations we're very inventive! We recommend the miracle roll and the apple roll for sure! It is a little more spendy because everything is al la carte.
Always excellent food. The Bare Beet sushi roll is remarkable.
I went here twice in two weeks and the server recognized me! In all seriousness, this is hands down the best sushi in Indy. The attention to detail they put into each roll is astounding. You have not lived until you order the Apple Blossom. On my first visit, we played it safe and didn't do too much. But on my second visit, the bill came to $80 (including tip) for a dinner for two. It's a little pricier than other places, but I would definitely recommend it to all sushu lovers.
Amazing service, friendly staff, great food. The sushi is on point, I love the Miracle roll, the jalapeno and tempura chip really set it off. The miso soup is made to order and delicious. The menu is complex with many Korean dishes. Something for everyone. Full bar, lots of wine and beer options. Service is fast, multiple large TVs usually sports. Clean and awesome.
Really creative vegetarian maki selection. Great atmosphere, service, wine list.
Went in but the place was too crowded and didn't want to wait to be seated.
Food was excellent... pricey... not a lot of options if you don't like spicey...I had the fried calamari... delicious, a little kick to it but still enjoyable... the fruit roll delicious... again, very few options to choose from if you don't do spicey... an appetizer, a roll, dessert and a glass of wine...$50+ dollars for 1 person.
The sushi was so unique and delicious! We also loved the crab rangoon and the salted caramel apple dessert! The service was incredible!! The owner came out to check on us and even offered to make us a special bourbon drink when he was out of the pomegranate liquor... best drink of the night!
Wonderful sushi. Try the crunch crab!
They serve some good, unique rolls, but the prices are higher than other sushi restaurants. I think Miracle worth a visit, but it didn't become my regular sushi place.
Not a great value.
Our experience did not meet our expectations. The food looked pretty but lacked in the taste department. I sent my coconut Curry soup back because it tasted like salt had been dumped in. My pad Thai was very dry. My daughter's rice was hard and dry. Not someplace we would go to again. Maybe if we had gotten sushi it would have been better.
We're from coastal CA and have a high standard for sushi restaurants. We stumbled upon Miracle on way home from airport and are so pleased. Comfortable and hip environment. High quality food and rolls. Full bar and attentive service. Delighted.
I have been here once for dinner and once for lunch, both times the service and food quality was excellent, a very good local option for sushi
Restaurant was clean and staff friendly
Food was delicious. They need a lunch menu. I spent $80 on lunch for me and my son.
So clean! Beautiful place and friendly staff!
The best in town. A little pricey, but worth it. So delicious.
Amazing. We we're lucky enough to have a chef's tasting that included ginger-pear amuse bouche, cilantro jalapeño apple sushi, melt-in-your-mouth braised short ribs with wasabi mashed potatoes - easily the best Asian fusion in central Indiana.
Holy cowabunga, this is literally the nicest and tastiest sushi establishment I have ever been to!! If you haven't been, you HAVE TO GO.
Great food and not too busy. Highly recommend for an intimate date night.
Amazing service! Friendly and helpful staff! Fantastic sushi! I love the combination of martinis and sushi! I agree though, most places offer soup and salad with sushi, you just get the roll by itself here.
Sushi was over priced and not impressive. The spicy tuna was average at best and the shrimp tempura was soaked in eel sauce and that was all that could be tasted. The dumplings were tiny and average, we had the fried beef version and it is not recommendation worthy. For the price the value is not what it should be. Competitors in the area offer soup and salad with a sushi meal, not here. Miracle was also more expensive than competitors. The only reason I give 2 stars instead of one is because nothing was bad, but nothing was very good either.
A good place to try out some innovative sushi rolls. Good ambience, good food and friendly service. They also have a wide range of appetizers and soups. And yes, this is a vegetarian-friendly place with quite a few vegetarian options on their menu.
Amazing Restaurant that I cannot say enough good things about in this review box. I love this menu. It is one of the most impressive menus I have ever seen. It is so hard to choose what to order because there are so many alluring choices. The owner is young and has the business in his genes. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
