Food was amazing. Recommendations from the wait staff were on the mark. Service could have been a little more attentive (had to keep waving for attention when we needed stuff and there was a long gap between getting our first course and being visited again to take our main order). Seemed like the servers working the floor were stretched thin, in charge of too many tables at once. It happens. At the price point this restaurant is, was expecting a little more attentiveness from the wait staff, and not having to keep waving for assistance at every stage of the meal, but there's only so much a server can attend to if the place is short-staffed. Still had a pleasant time and look forward to a return visit.

Excellent service, the waitress was so respectful, attentive and happy to serve. The salmon didn't come back the way we expected so she comped it. The food was good. It used to be superb but maybe we came on an off day. Downtown meter parking, wheel chair access a little challenging for the first step, private restrooms, bar, casual or upscale seating, casual or dress attire.

I did receive a delicious dessert for my birthday. I would try again if we were in the area. Great environment, professional, friendly, attentive staff. Visited with small group and environment and atmosphere perfect. Gourmet type food and drinks.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Once for brunch and this last time for dinner. Both times were phenomenal. The service is always great and the food is always exceptional I have never had a bad dish. We like to order multiple appetizers and entrees, to get a feel for the menu and they were all amazing!

Absolutely the best table brew coffee I've ever had in a restaurant, but it's strong. Mesh is an elegant joint, great for brunch. Chicken and waffles is one of their specialties and worth the wait.

Attracted by the colorful pictures (fish with the green soup, ahi, and the ice cream jars). But all the pretty dishes are no longer available. Quite disappointed. Ordered Scallops $31.00, Snapper $30.00, and Char-Grilled Shrimp $15.00. Good seafood, just not as pretty as advertised.

I came here for a Saturday date night with my husband and we made a reservation. If you are driving, leave in advance and expect to park quite quite a ways away. It is near some of the busiest bars on Mass Ave. The hostess was nice and accommodated my husband and I well by putting us in a quiet, secluded booth. The tables are formally set with wine glasses and the seating is comfortable. Our waitress seemed a bit pushy on ordering drinks, appetizers, and deserts. She did not seem truly genuine or interested in providing a warm experience. If you decide to patron here, please know that the menu is very limited and extremely pricey. Before the food came out, I honestly wanted to leave. When it was delivered, my attitude changed as the presentation of the dishes were spectacular. The food was absolutely amazing and had great flavors that paired very well. It was healthy, portion controlled, and was of phenomenal quality. My only complaint is that the shrimps should be presented without the tail. In the future, I would probably not come back because of the price and I did not care for the overall experience. However, I would recommend for others to try Mesh at least once. Pricey or not, the food was delicious.

At the tail end of anyone's monday, finding yourself at mesh is probably the best idea I've had in a while. Our server was so polite, attentive, knowledgeable, and the food was very good. Cocktail menu made me think, which wa refreshing, like what ingredients are those! I love stuff that inspires me to research. The wine that my friend got for our entree choices was such a good pairing, I can't wait to come back and do wine and dinner! Highly recommend!

It's a great place with really good food. The servers are always nice and go above and beyond to take care of you. I ordered the Amish Chicken , I definitely recommend it. The atmosphere is upscale. You can make reservations so you don't have to wait to be seated. There menu is not very big, but the selections are awesome. Would definitely recommend this place.

From making a reservation until the check the overall experience was wonderful. Their Calimari was the best I’ve had. The chef’s special of the night was a Sashimi Himachi and was pleasant to the eye and the palette. The filet, delicious. Our server, Jessica, was outstanding in descriptions, suggestions, friendliness and attentiveness. The manager was regularly in the dining room to check on all of the guests. If you have the opportunity, you shouldn’t miss the chance to enjoy a fantastic experience.

This restaurant was one of the very few of the fine dining trip advisor venues I’d not tried before. Booked by a colleague for my last night in Indianapolis the food lived up to all expectations - interesting and diverse menu with a fine wine list. Would thoroughly recommend as a go to restaurant in this part of the city. Service let down by having to request a cooler for the wine.

Mesh on Mass is a great place for a sophisticated evening for you and your friends...There's an outdoor fireplace and seating when weather permits and a beautiful bar where you are welcome to have dinner as well...They have a great selection of small plates, and their seafood and steaks are excellent...My favorites are the scallops on the seafood menu and the filet on the steak menu...They are top shelf selections that reflect the innovative approach of the Cunningham Restaurant Group.

This place was quite amazing. The chicken apple wood salad was delicious as an appetizer, but could have easily been an entree. It was a very good size and I'm someone who typical eats a lot. 215lb muscular male. the 12oz NY Strip was tasty and seasoned well, but I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was more well done, 0 pink or red in the middle. However, my girlfriends filet mignon was cooked perfectly and delicious. It was cold outside, but a little too warm inside. My date and I were sweating a little and somewhat uncomfortable. We asked the waiter and he said he knows it's hot and other people have said something, but nobody knows why it was so hot. He said he would mention to someone again. That was no help. We looked up and noted the room they put us in had about 14 vent outlets so that probably had to do with why it was so warm. The restaurant setting and design was beautiful and our waiter was friendly. Aside from the temperature it was overall a pretty good place which I assume they will fix at some point.

Great food and staff. We had a newer waitress, but I would have never known it if she hadn't told us! I have a couple allergies, and she asked the chef what would work for me, and helped me make substitutions. The atmosphere was lovely without being stuffy, which was nice. We had a great meal, and even though it was pricey, it was worth every penny.

Mesh is part of the Cunningham group of restaurants, and that entire family of restaurants have always been stellar to us. Mesh is no exception. I took a chance on something I'd never even heard of before---Mufulletta, and it was simply amazing. The accompanying French fries were almost...ALMOST...as good as the sandwich. Our server was professional and friendly and made some recommendations on the menu that were spot on for us. We'll certainly return.

Nice hipster restaurant in a hipster part of Indianapolis. Though it was a weekend, it was not busy. Good service. The staff was attentive. It was pricey. Dinner for four, one appetizer, no drinks, no desserts, and buying average priced plates: Total: $149 before tip. Good atmosphere. Great company with friends. Food was delicious.

It appears that Mesh will be an Indianapolis culinary experience, but the reality falls far short. You’ll pay quirky-local-gastropub prices for what amounts to tempered flavors and cheap choices. For example: the fruit plate amounted to a few thin slices of green apple, oranges, and a couple berries. Perfectly fine, but nothing noteworthy. Overall, the food is just fine. Between six of us, nothing was outstanding. It was food and the portions were healthy, but having read previous reviews and taking in the atmosphere, Mesh seems like it would stand out. It falls short, unfortunately. But if you’re looking for food at ok prices, it works.

Overall, I really enjoyed Mesh. The service was excellent, drinks were well made, and the food was delicious. My only real complaint is that the portions for the entree (at least what I got) were a bit small. I'm not one who overly enjoys stuffing myself, so I do appreciate when portions are kept within reason, but after eating at Mesh for dinner, I woke up the next morning ravenous. I had the monkfish, which was very tasty... but it was literally 4 fish nuggets on a bed of greens with 6 tiny peeled potatoes. It would have made a great appetizer.

Came during devour indy. Food was excellent. Minus 1 star because we didn't get the fancy bread which I was looking forward to. Was upselled to add shrimp to one of the dishes, only to discover you literally get A shrimp. I was charged 5 dollars for a Single piece of Shrimp. Lorde. Was sitting next to a large table of women who where obnoxiously loud and laughing, ear pain type of laughter. Was served by 3 different people. I've been here before when it was less busy, service and experience were better.

Took my daughter out for a daddy daughter date, she loves trying new food and going to nice restaurants. We decided on Mesh. Once we arrived, the host made us feel like we were out of place because my daughter is young (7). We were seated and the server was very nice and attentive. We ordered Steak Fritas and my daughter ordered a BLT. The steak was too chewy for her to eat (we split) but she enjoyed the fries. Our bill with one drink and a salad plus the two entrees was $70. I have no problem paying for good food but, with so much great food options in the area now I was expecting a much greater product. Big fan of the Cunningham group, I'll stick to their other brands

In two words, too expensive. For the price here, there are places I'd much rather go. Cocktails were nice as was the lobster bisque. For a main, ordered fish with shrimp risotto. Expected plating with fish and side. Instead it was all in one bowl and the fish barely visible. Ok amount of shrimp. My risotto was ok, but wife thought her's was overdone. It's hard to justify a return trip to see if it was a one-off.

For the price, the food was disappointing. My sweetie got a spicy chicken bowl that he thought was passable. I got a basil chicken burger, which was absolutely drowning in the messy mayo. The bun was good, but there was a lot more bun and mayo than chicken. The ambiance and service were nice, though.

If you don't care for goat cheese read the menu carefully because it shows up everywhere. FYI, you can only order off the brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday until 3:30.

We had the best server I think I have ever had at any restaurant. He was perfect--he had recommendations, was around when we needed him, scarce when we didn't, and had an excellent personality. I believe his name was Tommy. The food was just okay, which was disappointing, with the exception of the chili cheese fries which were excellent. We likely won't return, unless I am coming back to give Tommy a job.

Came here to check out the devour Indy menu and was not disappointed. Expect to spend a decent amount but the meal was worth every penny. I had the best steak I have ever eaten and my date loved the salmon. The service was also great. The servers help each other out so when our water or wine glasses were low the nearest server would swing by to fill them even though they weren’t our server. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice evening out

EDIT: Changing star rating based on managements handling of a bad situation. Basically I went for a to go brunch and 20 mins later got cold food and had bad service at the location. Management reached out to me to try to make the situation right, and based on that I feel at least the entity that is behind mesh are professional and care about both good and bad experiences at their restraurants.

Huge fan of the selection and atmosphere of Mesh on Mass! I love the variety that their menu offers, and the service has been top notch every time I have been there. It mixes delicious cuisine with a sports bar feel on one side, and an upscale bar with outdoor dining on the other! Enjoy watching sports, socializing with friends, or playing tabletop shuffleboard!

I got the crab cakes and I wish I would have had the sauce on the side. My daughter got the spaghetti squash, for half the price I thought the flavors of that was much better. We also ordered a bottle of wine and it was served as once. The rest of the time we had to get it ourselves. Which normally isn't an issue but when you're spending that kind of money on a dinner I expect everything to be top-notch. I won't go back just was not impressed. And I realize it was Mother's Day but at the time we were there at the restaurant was not that busy.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Don't usually get roast chicken, but this one was delicious and very tender. Happy hour cocktails (even with top shelf liquor). Didn't pay, so don't know what the final bill came to, but I am guessing it was about $70 per person including a couple drinks each and dessert.

My wife and I found Mesh when we decided to walk Massachusetts Avenue and couldn't have been happier. Nice elegant just right up our alley exactly what we love, and we don't mind paying for the experience when it's good. I understand they change there menu regularly but we had the brussel sprouts ah gratin and OMG they were superb if you were ever going to make something simi permanent these are one that needs to be it. We also had the charcuterie plate also very good but really paled in comparison to the brussel sprouts, nevertheless another place we can't wait to return to thank you for helping make my wifes birthday weekend a memorable one.

Tried it out for the first time on a Sunday with my wife for brunch. The food was too salty but good. Restaurant manager came by asking if everything is fine and after asking for a refill he acknowledged it but I never got a refill. The restaurant was not busy but it took 10 minutes to get our desserts. However, will try it for dinner next time.

I had my baby shower here and it was amazing! The food was great and we were able to reserve a private space. Super chic place. Prices a reasonable. Parking on Mass Ave can be tricky during the week but other than that I would definitely recommend this place!

Yes it's expensive, is it worth it ? Perhaps only 80%. Their complimentary house bread was super fresh and I'd totally go back only for that. The food was perfect and we enjoyed out time there - I have not complains about the food or the service. They take reservations so you can plan a date night ahead of time. I like their location and proximity to other bars. We third their charcuterie board, lobster soup and steak - everything tssted great - but marginally expensive. My only complaint would be that they have to expand their menu a little to accommodate more vegetarian options. Food and service : 5 stars Price: -1 star Menu : -0.5star

The staff, as always, is friendly and knowledgeable about the food (and specifically the specials). Tonight was a busy night due to being during Devour Downtown but I wouldn't have noticed based on the way the staff (front of house and back of house handled everything. They are true professionals of their crafts.

We had a great experience! Yes the food is pricey, and yes the drinks are pricey too. But that's what you get for a quality night with great service and delicious food. The hosts were also very accommodating as we had a larger group to celebrate several birthdays. Our server was fantastic and the kitchen nailed it on every appetizer, main dish, and dessert. Mesh was excellent in every category and we will be back again soon.

Food is good, service is good the place is just not to big enough to handle 3 group for party of 8 it's too tight and the noise is terrible specially when women have too much to drink.
