We've got the feddbacks of people who consumed the products and services of Machu Picchu Fine Peruvian Cuisine & Seafood (Restaurant) in Indiana.
Now the firm gets a score of 3.9 over 5 and that rating was based on 226 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is really positive, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the assessment is quite faithful. If people have bothered to evaluate when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Peruvian restaurant.
A bit expensive but it is good
Tasty food, but not as full flavored add what I'm used to with Peruvian cooking. Very slow service. They were talking on their cell phones in the kitchen non stop.
Great food and service, love the menu

Great food
Excellent, nice ambient, really good food
It was. Roaches in there never going back disgusting
Bad service, they take to long to serve your food , expensive, food so so!
Absolutely the best peruvian restaurant in the city. The Aji de gallina is god-like.
I'm Peruvian and always looking for new places to remind me of where I came from. The food was ok. Large portions are served. The only thing it lacked was the peruvian vive, music background and more options in the menu as well as professionalism of the servers.
Very good Peruvian food. Would give a 5 star if they had pisco sours, but beer only. Every time we've been here the food has been excellent. I dine with a Peruvian, so he knows the authenticity.
Everyone is so nice and great at the job. Their service and food is amazing!
Good food. Good friendly service. Seafood dishes are Peruvian specialties. Only a few are spicy. For a while this place was called Inkas but they went back to original name. Ignore stories that they closed. They just changed names.
Meh, so we tried Peruvian.
Loved finally finding a Peruvian restaurant. The aji de gallina is amazing and the drinks are so refreshing. If it would add more desserts, that would be perfect. I'm so happy it had all the decorations, too. I've been missing Peru and it was nice finding a touch in Indianapolis.
Not a great experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is not great - just tile floors and flooded lighting. Food was fairly bland, and the "pesto" I got was completely smooth and looked like light green sludge. Probably won't come back.
At first the kids were reluctant because it was empty on a Tuesday evening. To start out we were brought sliced bread and a green sauce for the dip. We ordered delicious fried plantains as an appetizer. For our meals we ordered the Lomo Saltado, the Parihuela de mariscos and two other dishes (can't seem to recall the names), but it was delicious and to our satisfaction. Will totally recommend it!

I love the food. I've been several times over the past few years and it's always great. The service can be spotty, but the food is consistently great.
The food is super good, but the staff are not aware of the clients they need to ask more if they need anything else and be more friendly.
Great Peruvian food for the area. The food: Some dishes and foods have an authentic taste but most are always missing some hint of authenticity. The saltado is always good and I enjoy the Aji da gallina. The food does take some time. The service: The servers are all polite and very attentitave. My only complaint is some have poor English skills and bridging the gap can be confusing and misleading. In my case, i was trying to purchase Aji Amarillo, but ended up getting more sauce for my yuca. The interior and exterior: Both were adequate. Nothing special or fancy. I did enjoy the Peruvian decorations.
Great teasted...good flavor...Good food in town..Precios Razonables.
La comida exelente. El servicio pesimo demaciado lento y desorganizado.
Great Food!!!
Food was good but really bad service, they hired kids which are not bad but I see friends of those kids hanging out inside the restaurant, they play the music they like and not peruvian music, they play bad videos. Because of this I’m not going back to this place.
(Translated by Google) Very rich the food..especially the mixed ceviche
Real peruvian food! Enough said...
Excellent food and service, you Must try it!!! Ask for Sarai, she is awesome
The food was visually appealing and flavorful. The service was excellent. If you're looking to try something different I recommend you give them a try. Reasonably priced entrees. They also offer a wide variety of seafood dishes.

Great food, good prices. Highly recommend.
More waitresses on the floor and greeting. Food was good, but needed to be a bit more refined on presentation.
Fantastic food and excellent service. we have eaten here a few times and absolutely love the food. i highly recommend the chicha beverage (purple corn and clove). their seafood selections are comprehensive. i recommend the sampler appetizer....it is fantastic.
The best food and service excellent even though it was arrived the restaurant very attentive with all the table I was there on Sunday or recommend
Food is about $15-$35 but you get a lot of food.
This place is very good!!

Good
Food is great but service is poor. I could not believe They charge for condiments. 1 dollar for less than 1 gram of rocoto molido. This is absurd and never heard of. Beware, I bet they may charge for salt and pepper too soon.
Excellent family restaurant
Food was delicious and plentiful. Waitress did ok for being the only one.
Amazing! The wall decor is beautiful and the food was outstanding. Everything that we ordered was fresh and flavorful, and we will absolutely be going back. I can't wait to bring my family here!!
Very great quality ingredients. The food was delicious and the service was the best! I will definitely be going back to this place.
Great food. The fried rice was excellent!
Great food great service
They need to sell Peruvian drinks such as Pisco Sour, Cusquena beer etc. Food was good.
Food was great but service not so much. They took a long time (about 40 mins) to bring the food and the waitress didn't even bother to check on us while we waited for it. I had to inquire it about it twice!
This was my first time having Peruvian food and every bit of the mill was impressive. It was very unique and a very calm atmosphere. The waitress went out of her way to explain the menu and to help with those of us with dietary issues and allergies. There were a lot of options too many to really get a good look at everything but it was double to find a meals that suited each one of us. The ceviche choices were amazing as well as the appetizer sampler though I couldn't have the beef Hearts my friends said that they were very tender and very tasty. The fried Yucca was an amazing experience and it is definitely a place that will have to be visit again so that we can see all the different choices that fit our taste. They have a small but decent wine selection as well as some unique Peruvian drinks that you won't find anywhere else. The seafood was exceptionally fresh and that's always a major plus especially when you're dealing things like Ceviche and mussels. This is definitely a place I would recommend too many people I'm definitely a place I will return to myself.
Excellent service, incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere. The ceviche was wonderful with tasty crunchy fried corn kernels. The beef heart and oyster appetizers were phenomenal. The beef dish I had was some of the most flavorful and tender beef I 've eaten, served smothered in onion gravy and topped with fried eggs, all over French fries and white rice, and with lightly fried plantain on the side. The servers were very nice and genuinely helpful. The portions and prices were fabulous for the quality and flavors. Overall, a delightful experience from beginning to end.
There is always a table ready and they serve fast. The price its fair

El mejor ceviche Que eh probado.
La mejor comida Peruana The best Peruvian food
Excelente servicio y la comida deliciosa.Buen lugar para ir con la familia.
The service staff was excellent but the food needs lots of improvement. Being Peruvian I expected a real Peruvian taste, but it is not worth the price nor the trip to get there. My wife asked for Jalea with salsa criolla because they only offer it with salad; I have no idea why. The salsa criolla was made with soggy and slimy onion and it seemed that they used lemon from a plastic container so sour and tasteless that damaged the dish completely. When we asked if they could make it fresh(only the salsa criolla) they said that we had to wait until all of the customers were taken care of. This is made so quickly that any of us could make it right on the table, but I guess the cooks were not that confident. The salchipapa we bought for the kids was not even tasty for them. I mean fries and hotdog not tasty? This is definitely NOT a restaurant for Peruvians to enjoy. If this restaurant was in Peru, they would have closed already because nobody would go to eat there! Not recommended for Peruvians but for those who want something different it will taste ok but definitely IT IS NOT THE PERUVIAN TASTE!
Really good food and service! Loved it!
Love the food was fresh and delicious best place for seafood
Little pricy but good food, we love the green and yellow sauces, we will be back
I liked
Exellente comida me gusta mucho
No muy bueno para mí.
My Peruvian friend recommended this place to me. It's absolutely delicious and never crowded for dinner. Service is generally quick and the servers are friendly.
It's very casual in a strip mall sort of way. The food is excellent & the service was great! The only thing that was not great was the corn on the cob. It seemed like frozen & was dark in color & mushy.
Been here several times and the food and service has gotten progressively worse. This last time was the last straw, both of the entrees we ordered were clearly reheated; the beef was tough and chewy, rice was borderline crunchy and they charged 3 dollars for an instant coffee. Better still, when we walked in, both the servers had a plate from the buffet a few doors down. That should have been my first hint to walk right back out. Those $60 spent there on Sunday weigh heavily on my conscious, we would have been much better off at that buffet.
Great food, but need more people for services.
Authentic Peruvian food in Indianapolis. The portions are large enough to share. Definitely worth trying!
Love exploring new food and this hit the nail on the head! It's was so good!!
Sorry but not very impressed with the food.... Ceviche very tasty but.... The fish was cut very small, is not supposed to be like that... Lomo saltado... The meat was anything but beef tenderloin, hard to bite when it shouldn't be, pescado a lo macho... Well, the seafood sauce should've been more creamy and spicy, looks like they forgot the yellow hot pepper. The portions were very well presented and very generous, maybe somebody not familiar with Peruvian food will be impressed, but for me, a Peruvian who knows his food, this was not a good experience. Sorry guys.... But you have to improve
amazing food
I have ordered ceviche mixto this don’t looks ceviche mixto worst taste
Exelente servicio... Con ambiente familiar... A un precio accesible... Y la comida super rica... Exelente para cenar...
Food was very good!
Good food and prices. The lomo saltado was good!!cheking it out soon to try other dishes.
Came in atmosphere was very dull. No music was playing. Wasn’t greeted or acknowledged till about 10 minutes later. We had to sit ourselves and wait for the waitress who was in the back just chit chatting with the other waitresses and cooks. The restaurant is empty and quiet we should have been acknowledged immediately no excuse. Finally when we ordered the waitress was not enthusiastic at all carries a stank face was not paying attention and got both orders wrong. The employees are focused on the party going on in the kitchen instead of ensuring the satisfaction of their patrons and I say party in the kitchen because they have music back there but not or the customers!!!!
Great food and service
Food is great, the service needs work.
Love the bread and sauce
Pollo a la brasa was dry and tasteless. When asking is the pollo a la brasa fresh, the waitress said yes. I don’t really know what fresh means for her. The pollo a la brasa was not fresh and it was really dry. It was an insult to that traditional dish- didn’t taste like authentic pollo a la brasa. It was very disappointing. The ají de gallina was ok and papa rellena was good. If you are Peruvian do not go- do not take your friends!
exelete el arroz de mariscos gracias !!
Went in, ordered waters. And an inka soda. Waited 15 minutes and still no waters and inka soda. Walked out. The end
The food is very flavorful and wonderfully displayed. Don't be in too much of a hurry when you go here. It is very much like the service you would receive if you were actually in Peru.
Good costumer service and food
Good food
Pricey for what the menu offers. I'm not Peruvian but I've heard it's no authentic
I have been going to what was called then Machu Picchu restaurant for years, have had 0 complaints, but ever since the name has changed to Inkas, not sure if staffing changed because lately the authentic flavor is gone. TODAY I placed my order over the phone for pick up, when I got there I noticed my order was wrong, instead of the waiter going to rectify this, she insisted I never ordered such dish. When I got home the dish I always order ( Tallarines verdes ) tasted old, and the chicken did NOT look well done at all. $15.00 to the trash ..... Long time customer ADIOS...
I don't really like their food but it was OK
Probably one of the best cuisines I have tasted. Second time coming here. Their yucca and aji is to die for, as well as all the other options on their menu. Great decor, previously named Inkas, still just as great of food as before. Friendly waiting staff and quick service. A little pricier, but definitely worth it. Plus it isn't far from the hotel hub in southern Indianapolis, and is centered in a great ethnic area. Always look forward to eating here anytime I come through Indianapolis.
Ceviche was ok. Aji de gallina was not as authentic, but lomo saltado was ok too.
Great food
The food was great and the price nlt bad. Will definitely be back. Wish the waitress was more friendly
We came from far away to this restaurant to eat peruvian food. We were totally disappointed, no one came to greet us. We sat ourselves and when the waitress came she was not pleasant. She was giving attitude when we asked questions. Was not friendly at all. She even asked our friend if she was mad?? We left for poor service never even tried the food. When you eat somewhere you don’t just pay for the food you pay for the service.
The service was very courteous and on time, the food was delicious. Y también ordene 1/2 pollo a la braza with lettuce and fries with was delicious. The chicken was a little to much chargrilled but still eatable. The environment was very clean and cozy. Family oriented.
Arrived at 4:45 fit an early dinner and to relax after a stressful Thursday. Service and did were great, prices reasonable!
Food was okay but not the best .. kind of pricey
Would recommend. Food was delicious, staff was friendly, portions are big enough for leftovers to offset the price. All in all a good experience for my first time trying Peruvian food.
my buena comida
I love there seafood!
Love love love this place! The layout could be bettet but the food is excellent!
Too expensive, but the food was ok

Great food and customer service
For the "peruvian" taste, too pricey. Get better recipes
Good food, saltado! Nicely decorated. Receipt portable machine barely worked.
I love this place best food in town.
Good

Great service even served us after the place was closed. Owner let us try samosa for free. only problem is restaurant next door turns into a night club south head pounding bass after 8pm. Other than that Can't wait to go back.

Excellent food an customer services, try their chaufa it's a must.
Horrible food. I waste my time coming here and my money.
Was driving down 38th street hungry and decided to try something new. Happened upon thia gem of place. I think I found my new food addiction. Very flavorful and huge portions. Staff friendly and love the decor.
Fantastic food
Food was fantastic!
The food was great. Service was a bit slow but the staff was friendly.
Really good food!!!
The good is great , but I think that it’s slightly over priced. Most stuffs are $14 and higher. There are a few things around $9ish but you don’t get much or your options to the side are limited.
Great service, great food. I can say better than when it was Machu Picchu. This is a good place to taste Peruvian food (very similar). If you are Peruvian you should give it a try.
Their food is delicious!!
(Translated by Google) Food is fine. (Original) Esta bien la comida.
This is my first experience with Peruvian food. It was excellent. The staff was friendly and polite. I'll definitely go back on my next trip to Indy!
Good food 100% recommended
Sort of expensive. It also leaves something to desire. But would eat here again.
