My mother and I order chicken marsala and 16 oz steak medium rare. The steak came medium well, almost well done. The chicken marsala was swimming in the marsala sauce. It seemed as if the chicken had been made sperately from the sauce and not sauted together. Our waiter was apologetic and we got a properly cooked steak for free but overall we were disappointed. We will probably not return.

Went here for a company dinner party and the food was amazing, especially the stuffed mushrooms. My only complaint is that the seating was a bit cramped in the banquet room, but that was due more to our large group of people than anything else.

I have this wrap that i love to get from there for lunch, i usually get it to go. I have been there about 5 times now, you can walk in and sit at the bar area, every. single. time. I get ignored. People will walk in and out of the bar, each time I have been in there to actually sit down and eat, i have had a bad experience. I tried this week, sure enough, i sat there for over 15 minutes, the bartender came in twice, checked on the other 2 men at the bar, and didn't even acknowledge me. There were only 3 of us total at the bar top. It sucks bc this place DOES HAVE GOOD FOOD. And the girls up at the front have been great when i go in there to grab my food. But i wouldn't want to actually go in and sit down.

Slow service for group dining after previously reserved. Waited over 45 min after ordering for food. Separate checks were all mixed up. On the other hand, the food was very good.

Went there only to turn right around. we were told it was a 45 min wait for a table for two. there was at least 7 tables open that we could see from the hostesses desk and only one party of five ahead of us. so we went arose the street to El Maguey. loved it.

My chicken was rubbery and not tender. For the price I had expected better quality. Service and the desserts are really good. I'm updating my rating because the manager did reply promptly to my review to make things right. We just don't get date nights often so haven't made it back to the restaurant.

The food is phenomenal, the prices are fair, and the service is always nice. The only complaint I have ever had with Lucchese's is that I always want a double portion so I can take some home. The house Alfredo is great and pairs very well with the meat ravioli.

This is a run of the mill American-Italian place. Food is good but not excellent, service is great but not impressive. Serving sizes are medium in size (can finish the entire place and be satiated but not full). I would suggest this place if you are looking for something semi-healthy and inexpensive for a friendly gathering.

Called in and ordered an 8x10 pan of baked mostaciolli and a loaf of bread. They told me it would be around a gal hour....I drive 25 min to get there got there it had been 38 min... a real immature girl knew what I ordered went and looked and while laughing came and told me they forget to put it in. 20 more min...I didn't find it funny. I won't be there again no matter how the food taste. Rude!

Got in just before closing so our meal seemed a bit rushed. Hot but dregs of the former fresh. Wine selection was great. Appetizers were good and the staff was a bit worn out from a recent influx of people for an event in town. I will go back during a quieter time during dinner hours and and am certain I will have a better experience.

Lucchese's is a wonderful restaurant, one of the best in the area. The food is consistently wonderful, especially when the chef puts out the nights special. The Lucchese family is extremely present, making you really feel as if the night is a curated event just for you. Also, the catering is incredible, and wedding rehearsals are beautifully put together. Wine flows, pasta comes AL dented and the steak and seafood is on point. Don't forget to check out the delivery counter, where Mama Michelle puts out fresh pasta, salads and deserts to take home!

Ordered the daily special, Pasta Elswick, but I don't think that's what they brought us. It was supposed to be Pepperoni & Sausage, but it was chicken instead. It was really good, and I didn't even think about it until after I had finished. Wait time was pretty long as well. We were there over an hour over a Friday lunch. It was pretty busy, but again the food we received was very good.

Local spot that is very much enjoyed by business people.of the community. Salads are large and very filling. Authentic Italian that never disappoints. A great place for a business meeting as the service is fast and you can have a full service, delicious lunch in under an hour. Definitely my go-to spot. You have to get there before noon, or there won't be any seats left!

During my lunch visit last week I had the Italian wedding soup. I thought it was more of a mush... Don't get me wrong it tasted fine but it really wasn't a soup because it had so many noodles with little broth. On another note the place is clean and the staff is friendly.

they ad a 18% tip too parties of 8 or more! I went with a party of 7, they auto tipped our bill anyway and never asked us if it was ok, table had crumbs on it when we arrived, waitress was humorless, dull, and hurried, my Spaghetti was cold, sauce was watery and flavorless, it seemed as though they took it straight from a can of stewed tomatoes and poured it on my pasta, the Chicken Alfredo our guest of honor had, had very little chicken, and, they charge extra for the chicken in it! they charge extra for everything!!! If you order a steak for $22 you only get the steak, no potato, no veg, no salad, everything costs extra! overall experience unsatisfactory!!! although, some of the food there is good.

The food is consistently good and the service has gotten better than it used to be. The linguini salad with chicken is my favorite dish. I also like that I can get authentic Italian products as well as great deli salads and desserts. I usually go for lunch, so I really cannot comment on their dinner entrees.

Waitress acted disgusted. Food portion's extremely small and very BLAND..Waitress never came back for drink refills.Dont be fooled by the 4 star review - awful.

Italian Restaurant - Pleasant atmosphere, nicely decorated and prompt service. The side dishes and soup were well made, but the spaghetti with meatballs was overly cooked and soggy. The excessive sauce made it taste / feel "soupy" (for lack of a better description). Prices were very reasonable. I look forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

I don't have anything particularly good to write about Lucchese's. The food was pretty bland. Nothing stood out, and I was really only eating it because I was hungry. You want to eat good food even when you're not hungry, and once I wasn't hungry I didn't keep eating. The atmosphere is somewhat sad. It feels old and slow inside. It can be compared to a cloudy fall day. It just screams "eh." It isn't bad, it just exists.

Very disappointed, waited a long time to order, when it arrived nobody's food was hot. One persons spaghetti was chopped into little pieces, my alfredo noodles were stuck together and the chicken looked like it came out of a can. My sister ordered pizza and it was wrong, she didn't get her food until the rest of us were done eating. We've been there twice before and never had a experience like this. Don't think we'll be back again.
