They lost our reservation and we had to wait briefly. Drinks were very good. Lamb empanadas had great flavor. Paella was amazing but the chicken dish was not. It was just a glorified chicken sandwich. Chicken entree came to the table a good 10-15 minutes after the paella dish was served. Why couldn’t they bring both entrees at once? Music was a little loud and we had to sit next to the server station so wait staff was walking around the table frequently. I would definitely go back again for the paella and ceviche, but hostess and wait staff need to improve.

The Livery is an an amazing restaurant with phenomenal customer service. The food is bursting with flavors that will satisfy all taste buds!!! This was my first time at this establishment and our server Adam did a phenomenal job in explaining the menu options! Looking forward to the next visit! Great Job again Adam!

While visiting Indy this restaurant was recommend by a customer I was meeting. Their recommendation was excellent. The menu is limited, but each dish are full of flavor and skillfully prepared. this is popular restaurant and parking is limited so plan a head and make a reservation. Good food and even better cocktails! We tried a few variations of spicy tequila based drinks and loved them all! Evan was a GREAT server and more than attentive!

Does this place need another 5 star review? Probably not, but here is mine anyway. We had the brussel sprout appetizer, a mango salad, chicken entree and skirt steak entree. Everything was amazing. What's more amazing is the price. I would expect this stuff to be in the 20 to $30 range per plate, it's mostly$14-20. It's easy to see why it's busy.

A place that offers great customer service. Mac was exceptional. He spent the time to learn about our tastes and dietary restrictions. We tried Yuka Fries, Cuban Sandwich (became our instant favorite), and Quesadillas. Also, the three desert platter of Choc flan, lemon tres leches, and caramel dipped churros was very satisfying at the end. One thing is for sure, YOU ARE IN FOR A FLAVORFUL FOOD WITH A TOUCH OF CREATIVITY. Also, this place has a very creative barista, prepared custom mojitos for us. Strawberry lemonade with a hint of coconut and zinger is my favorite. A special thanks to Mac, Livery’s team of chefs and barista! I will visit this place again to try the Cuban sandwich, Yuka Fries, and a different mojito this time.

Great food, some of the dishes (like the paella) are very spicy. If you are not into spicy food ask about your choices. Empanadas are to die for and the skirt steak is awesome. The tres leches for dessert is outstanding and paired off with a delicious sorbet. Prices are reasonable.

An excellent meal in Indy! We loved our first experience at Livery. We each started with the Livery Margarita, a fantastic drink. We had the grilled artichoke and plantain starters and both were delicious. We especially loved the plantains - they weren't like any plantain dish we had had before. We ordered the corn empanadas and the queso empanadas. Both came in an order of 3, and they were fantastic. We couldn't finish all 6 between us, even though we wanted to. We can't wait to come back.

The atmosphere is good. It fits a nice high class vibe. The meals were not up to par for the price overall. The $15 lamb tamale was pitiful in terms of size and it was very much overdone. The steak another party member got was fairly ok, though he got a medium rare even though he specifically said medium well. There was a lot of red in the steak. The Cuban was the only entree party got that see decent sized and quality the price. Otherwise the margarita was good, though small and price on bar what what I'd expect from a restaurant of this class.

Went to Livery with a group of friends and it was great! Decent location right next to Mass ave, valet parking (in all honesty, finding self parking can be a hassle), nice interior and tasty food! We tried devour menu and it was very delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly, and fun to talk to. Overall, it didn’t cost much and we’d definitely recommend this restaurant!

Enjoyed a fantastic dinner on the rooftop patio. Everything we had (empanadas (chicken and queso), fish tacos, cauliflower, sweet corn, churos, and the red drum) were all delicious. Some of the best prepared food I have had in a long time. Waitress was very knowledgeable about all menu items. Great service. Great ambiance. Can’t wait to return.

Well the food could be good, but I wouldn't know. I called about getting a reservation, but there were none available. The woman told me that if I just walk in though, they could probably seat us pretty quickly. We got there and it was 2 hour wait. We then had to scramble to find a restaurant within walking distance where we could eat. It was terrible weather, and nearly ruined our night. Maybe don't tell people you can get them in if you might have a 2 hour wait.

We went to Livery during Devour Indy. We had a super waiter, Adam. He was well informed about the food, the wine and the parking. We had about 4 choices for appetizers and for the entrees. My hubby had the manchego crisp salad which had fresh, crisp vegetables. I had the street corn which was really delicious. Before we ate, I had a carriage house margarita and my hubby had a regular one. They were so good, we each had a second. For the entree, I had a wonderful quesadilla. Every time I come here that's what I order. My hubby had the chicken cannelonis which he really liked. Our dessert were churros. They are like heaven on earth, so light and sweet. There was caramel sauce which was yummy. We definitely plan on returning, especially if Adam continues to work there.

I had an amazing experience at last night. a decent amount of veggie options but not a ton of vegan ones. I ordered the cauliflower and it was amazing. The waiter noticed I was looking at my friend's plantain, and couldn't try it because of the crema. He came out with an order that was dairy-free for me and it was on the house. I truly appreciate that. The drinks are also a great addition!

Wonderful! Loved the lovely outdoor dining experience. The food is served with expert attention to detail by top-notch servers. Clever menu with flavorful choices. We shared the elite appetizer which was fabulous - they offered to cut the corn off the cob which made it easy. My canalones was delicious to the point that I over ate a bit but it was worth it! Everyone in my party was impressed. I would have been happy going back the very next night!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Food was cooked perfectly and flavored wonderfully! It was so very good that it saved a rather mundane margharita that had way too much salt around the rim and a way too high energy server who described the empanadas as "hot pockets for adults". He was attentive, but borderline goofy. Big misalignment with the ambiance. The tomato and lamb empanada does not deserve mentioned alongside microwaved mystery meat pockets. If that is standard description STOP IT! Sooooo good. Rich flavors. Perfect texture. Paella had the single most perfectly seasoned and cooked scallop ever. Its only flaw was there was but the one. The shrimp were large and tasty as well, but overshadowed by that lonely scallop. He needs friends. Tasty, tasty friends. My wife did not believe she like scallops until that moment. Chorizo rice was spicy (which I love) others may say too spicy. Street corn was weaker than either two plates, but still excellent. We ordered it off the cob. Wonderful. Any flaw in the food would pull this down to a 4 star review, but 6 stars for food balances out mediocre drinks and goofy server.

3rd visit to this downtown darling...cocktails are good here, their margarita is pretty good! However their food from their entree section doesnt wow me. My husband always orders the paella here and that definitely is good..the options I have tried are just okay, not bad but not something that wows me with flavor and texture. Lamb empanadas are very good, chorizo and chicken empanadas are fine. Service has never been an issue at all. Good wait staff. Dislike that there are just 2 restrooms for such a big place.

We met up with relatives for a "night out" without kids and the staff and atmosphere at Livery made it perfect. When the weather is nice, the open windows and experience is incredible (even if the next door garage needs to oil the gears on that door something awful). This is a wonderful bit of architecture and a great environment. The food was simply perfect. We eat primarily vegetarian and there were plenty of options without a pause in flavor or experience. I just hate cauliflower, but I would eat their cauliflower appetizer every evening. For small groups or couples it has plenty of space to give you a bit of privacy without needing to hide, while larger groups can still be assembled and gather near each other w/o issue. If I were taking someone out on a first date to an anniversary, I'd feel comfortable in bringing them here. Great flavors, great staff, great environment. No misses whatsoever.

Excellent, fresh, fast. We got the Livery margaritas and they were excellent. Definitely try the empenadas. (Corn was my personal favorite style.) I had the skirt steak and it was delicious--crispy outside, pink center. The jalapeno butter made it! Restaurant was bigger than it looked from the street, and it bit nicer than I expected from the website. Highly recommend!!

Poor service and the people at the front desk were being racist. We are an interracial couple and we were flat out discriminated against. Our glasses was empty for most of the night even when we requested water, the waiter severed the couple next to us and refused to speak to us. His back was turn towards us, and we were toss two cups of chorizo when we asked for refill in a condensing way. We literally had to beg him for attention as we raise our hands for some water. It was the worse expi had ever had. Also the bathroom wall says " Niggers life does not matter" with a scratch over it in the men's bathroom. Furthermore they're restrooms are gender specific.

Seemed like a really cool place. We walked in at 11:05 on a Monday night after reading on Google that the bar was open until midnight. The sign on the door affirmed that. Unfortunately, as soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender let us know the kitchen closed at 10 and the bar closed at 11. Total bummer because it seemed like a cool place. Should figure out their hours and market accordingly.

Wow, this place is great! I can't say how surprised I am to find such a good Latin restaurant in Indianapolis! Maybe I am out of my element, but I never expected such a nice and good place with Latin food here! This spot is pretty authentic, has an extensive list of great drinks, excellent and friendly service, and a really cool terrace and seating area. I highly recommend eating here. The only negative is if you are driving, with the crazy way the streets are in the area, it can be a little frustrating to find, but it is definitely not the restaurants' fault. Give this place a try!!!

I hate to give this place 3 stars because the food here normally is outta this world. On my visit tonight, it took a long time for me to get my food. Once I got it, it was delicious for the most part except for the pork dish which was cold. A manager never came to my table to apologize or anything.

Our favorite main course is easily the paella. The scallops melt like butter and the heat of the shrimp is addictive. The acidity of the pickled onions balanced the fat of the chorizo rice. We also enjoyed the quesadillas.We ended with churros. The finger-sized desserts with a lightly salted caramel is the perfectly sized end to an evening. Overall, the service and the holistic experience of Livery is nothing short of wonderful.

Excellent ambiance for a late night out. It's off the beaten path, but bustling inside. Mature crowd. Very upscale menu and waitstaff is excellent. Drink options, cocktails, beer, and wine, are excellent with a wide selection. There ia bar seating, inside seating, and an outside patio seating. Definintely found a hidden gem.

Dinner was fantastic. My partner and I went here for our anniversary and had an amazing time. Every bite was seriously good, and our waiter, Adam, was very chill and friendly. My hillbilly partner and I weren’t sure how to consume oysters when cooked, and Adam was very non-judgmental when explaining that you eat them like regular oysters. It was very stylish, fun, and easily the best food I’ve had in months!

Small plates and plates to share are the primary items in the menu here. The food is good and reasonably priced. There is rooftop seating available, so the atmosphere is pretty cool as well. I've been here twice now and it's always been fine, but not spectacular. Perhaps that's just a preference. Definitely worth a look, though.

After a horrible first meal in Indianapolis I went for a long walk in the hopes that I'd find a better experience. I came across Livery and it was everything I could possibly have hoped for and absolutely salvaged my trip! The steak empanadas were fabulous, the red drum was fabulous, the churros were actually worth it (How do you make a remarkable churro?! These folks pull it off) and the cocktails were good AND not exorbitantly priced. Amazing meal and drinks for under $70. Do yourself a favor, go here.

Visited later on a Monday night with a large party of friends. Everything was delicious, the cocktails were great and the atmosphere is very nice. Our waiter was very knowledgeable, funny and patient with our large group, will definitely come back. Came back a second time, just as good if not better! Our server was so fantastic and knowledgeable very willing to help us figure out gluten free options. Get the cauliflower, I never new cauliflower could taste so good!

We ordered the corn empanadas and the queso empanadas. Both came in an order of 3, and they were fantastic. We couldn't finish all 6 between us, even though we wanted to. We can't wait to come back!

The food has been great since day 1. I try to move away from the Red Drum but it's my go-to and my favorite meal in Indy. But beware the service. Its varied wildly over the last few years and sometimes be a disaster. Still it's the best restaurant on Mass Ave though technically it's just off of it. If you can get good weather patio deck seating you'll enjoy it even more. Solid cocktail choices as well. Not elite but good for a restaurant.

Delicious latin American dishes with some modern twists. We had the paella but beware this one is spicy unlike the traditional Spanish plate. It has sausage, shrimp and they even add tiny jalapeno pieces to the rice. Very good tasting but not if you do not like spicy food. They also make different types of empanadas, we tried the cheese and they were very good with a little bit of a zing to them. The skirt steak was paired off very nicely with some polenta and butter. We had the Tres Leches for dessert and it tasted awesome and was paired off with a nice sorbet on the side. The atmosphere is casual but elegant, they have a large bar with a good selection of drinks.
