The staff is very polite and accommodating. Several selections to choose from, vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Many of these dishes were new to me and fun to try. Been eating Indian cuisine for over 20 years and its always fun to experience something different. If you enjoy this type of cuisine, stop by and give them a try. Buffet prices are decent and the dishes were hot.

I went for Briyani night at this restuarant. Most of the briyani's had unlimited free Salt and the restuarant was safocating from inside. There is no proper ventillation. I only liked the Desert.

Originally India Sizzling was a second choice because of Spice Nation closing. My first experience out to dinner with friends and family was almost ruined by an abrasive waiter but was saved by the new waiter that started covering our table. The vegetarian and vegan food was amazing. My friends and I have gone so often we are known by the staff there. Everything was great until our last visit when my vegetarian friend found a bone in his mouth. It then called food preparation into question. How many vegetarian dishes wer contaminated? Was meat accidentally ingested? That bone meant that was our last visit to that restaurant. If you are a meat eater they have great food and enjoy. However, vegetarians beware.

I am extremely picky when it comes to food, especially Indian. My partner and I have made it a goal to try many Indian places in and around Indianapolis and hands down this place knocks the rest out of the park. The service is outstanding and the food is incredible--you can tell everything is made fresh and with care. We don't live close to the restaurant but make the trip just to come here to eat and it is well worth it. You would be doing yourself a huge diservice by not trying India Sizzling on Lafayette Rd.

India Sizzling II has really fantastic food, very friendly and knowledgeable service, with a large dinning area with proper tables and chairs, unlike most Indianapolis area restaurants where you're crammed in like sardines. Overall, the quality of the food is excellent, very traditional Indian and Middle Eastern food including many types of chutney and relish condiments, and friendly service. Their butter garlic naan is really delicious and served piping hot.

We stopped here on our way back after visiting Niagara falls. We randomly select this place to eat and it turned out right decision. I am non veg and my wife is vegetarian, we both found lot of options of our choices and it is not just options, the food was also very tasty. The service was good too. Ambiance was OK . We have been a regular customer of this place because of the taste of the food. But the service is very poor. I have had bad experiences trying to place order over phone a couple of times. The person who picked up the phone was very harsh and blunt. Would never recommend this place to anyone again unless the customer service changes.

Worst experience of my life.. Manager was so rude.. There was a buffet and in this poster it says there is Roti or Naan.. I asked for Roti then he gave also we were 7 people and other asked he said he will charge for it n we asked Y it says in poster.. He told to remove that poster to the employee.. also he has charged all the Roti for 4 dollars each and I asked I will write in Google/ Yelp .. Management said we don’t care about that and you guys are not quality People. Also he said I don’t want to talk with you guys. We are not here to serve all of you if we are busy. Please Don’t Go over there. We are the customers but they don’t respect. There are so many good restaurants. Very much disappointed we cannot say our things and they insult in such a way.

Easily one of the best South Indian places I've been to. The variety at the buffet is great with veggie and non veggie options. Dosas made to order (Thursday is dosa night) with Sunday barbecue day. Very authentic though with varying spice levels. I always recommend this place to friends - be warned though - you will leave incredibly full.

We went for dinner buffet on Sunday, the food was okay and the staffs were not friendly. I ordered Appam which was undercooked and they charged for my three year old kid too which I feel really bad as he didn’t eat anything except half dosa ... Prices are too high and not worth for the money

Indianapolis’ best Indian restaurant! Large variety of food and well cooked and seasone. They have all my favorites and more! Chai, dosa and fresh naan included in the buffet. I love it! Only advice is for them to move to a bigger location. It’s always packed and tables are very close to each other.

Worst food and service. It 45 mins to serve one curry. That too come with too much salt and cream in curries. Upon complaint, chef argues that this is their food and we eat or not. Very arrogant chef though server was polite.

I should start this review by saying that I contemplated writings this all day because I understand that this business is the livelihoods of multiple people and a bad review can tarnish their reputation. That said, I am now compelled to warn the public so they are not in the position I was. First, my wife and I are both Indian and grew up on Indian food our whole lives. We have been to India multiple time and had authentic indian food that made us wake up every morning looking forward to our next meal (the 10 out of 10 experience). We have been searching for similar food here in the United States ever since. We were first introduced to India sizzling 2 about two years ago. I remember walking out with a sense of satisfaction that we had found an Indian restaurant that made good food. My wife and I had been there about a dozen times since then. Maybe due to a change in management or chefs, the quality and the taste of the food at India Sizzling 2 has deteriorated. We went to the restaurant yesterday reluctantly. The food was overall subpar. The mutton curry and house chicken curry was overpowered by garam masala. The fried rice was cold and the chicken tikka masala lacked any flavor, but the worst was yet to come. I got to the dessert and had gulab jamun that tasted good. My 6 month old son also got a small taste. I went back for seconds and 2 more pieces and scooped in some of the sugar water when I saw a dead cockroach in the pan. After paying for my meal (because I didnt want him to this was about a free meal), I brought it to the managers attention. He removed the tray immediately and apologized. Needless to say, that is the last time me or my 6 month old son is going to have roach dessert at India Sizzling 2. (If I could, i would post the picture of the roach in the review).

Every Thursday there is Dosa Festival and on on every Friday they do Briyani festivals. If you are a big fan of Briyani please don’t miss Friday dinner. Nice variety of Briyani including Thalapakatti and Hyderabad Dum Briyani which were served in small bowls as many as you want with the normal buffet.

I believe this is the only Indian dinner buffet in town, and its a true bargain at $12.99. The food was good, service prompt and courteous, and the restaurant clean and well maintained. This was the first time that I had dosas and they were delish! Also this was my first time trying spinach with paneer cheese and I will say that I am a fan. I wish that they'd had samosas and vegetable pakoras on the buffet but otherwise they had many of my favorite entrees. The one draw back was that they played awful music and they played it loudly. No thank you.

This is my favorite Indian food restaurant. They have the BEST vegan food buffet. It's hard to know when to stop. I highly recommend ordering dosas along with buffet. The staff is awesome and friendly! They remember their customers and care about the food they serve!

Hours are not updated neither online or in store..waited outside of restaurant for a full hour and was told they open at 5:30 on saturadays..which is no where mentioned..went in and waited almost another 30 minutes before my order can be served to my table..my 2 yr old child saw gulab jamuns and they were not fresh I took 2 pc gulag jamun from buffet side to make my child calm down..the owner of the restaurant charged $3.99+tax...I ordered two sprites two cans were brought to me and when I check my receipt they were $4.98

Very good indian buffet with appetizers like vada and chat and dahi vada and kadi pakura etc. Has different items from the usual regular indian buffet. Unlimited Barbecue as part of buffet was good. Dessert options has madurai halwa and double ka meeta and sheer was very good.

This place is really good. I went for lunch buffet earlier. Today I went for alacarte dinner as they don't have dinner buffet on Tuesday and Wednesday. The food quality was excellent and fresh and even the service was great. The food was also given on time. It was already 9.30 pm when we ordered dessert and they made hot gulab jamuns then itself and it was delicious.

The food here is the best I have had in the indy area. The price is also exceptional. The manager is a nice man but is sometimes hard to understand due to his thick accent. The food is also always hot so be careful because you might burn your hands on accident like me lol. The only complaints I have are that the area inside is always a bit hot so more ac would be nice and the water doesnt taste very good. I also wished that they had a larger variety of food but the current ones are exceptional.

Pretty decent. We were a bit late for the lunch buffet, but they accommodated us happily. The timings they mentioned in Google is correct (I found that it is not for many other well known Indian restaurants in the area). Food was good. Better south Indian items as compared to other restaurants. Service was friendly. I would suggest them to improve more on south Indian items, they will definitely get more customers. One more plus point is that it is very close to an Indian supermarket.

You must visit this place. The food is awesome and authentic and the service is extremely good. The customer service is of very high standard and they are very polite. This place has a very homely atmosphere. I had their dinner Buffett which had over 15 variety of vegan and non-veg items. I tried a little bit of everything and must say that there was not even one item that I could rate any less than 5 stars... In my opinion the food quality of India Sizzling II food is the best Indian food I had not only in Indianapolis but in the whole United States. I am a business traveller and I have eaten in may states in US & Europe. Keep up your great food recipe. Cheers Ash

Went to try the a la carte but ended up trying the all you can eat buffet for 9.99. They have a nice variety of vegetarian, non vegetarian dishes as well as chats. They also serve unlimited dosas and soft drinks as part of the buffet. The waiter was very polite, friendly and informative. Great value for money. Also, it's right next to Patel brothers if you want to get some grocery shopping done.
