Sai Rakesh

Had dinner with girl friend, food was delicious and exactly what I ordered. Butter chicken, naans, vijayawada chicken biryani tastes really well. The service was awesome.... All in all, a perfect stay!! Must try..!

LARRY STRAWBRIDGE

Amazing Indian cuisine! You wont find any better in New Delhi India, New York or anywhere else! AND the price is modest!

D. Frank Adams

I've been eating Indian cuisine for over two decades and have enjoyed the majority of the dishes. This restaurant was different and not in a good way. The rice looked old. The flavors were sharp and pungent. Nothing was good. Prices were ridiculously expensive and the staff wasn't pleasant. Not my kind of place.

Angel Tom

Very bad taste food paneer tikka masala taste like onions and veg bariyani no vegetables use to be have potatoes carrot or cauliflower but now nothing I only see carrots waste of money

Supreeth Gowda

The taste and quality of food has gone low. Food was good an Year ago and not now.

Suresh Maharana

Superb for alakarte but Buffett option was less for veg.

Frank M Cook

While the sign says you can order off the menu all day, they have a buffet at lunch which is a good choice unless you know exactly what you want or need to specify a milder spice level. Unlike the more formal Indian restaurant at Ditch Road, the customers here are largely Indian which I take to be a good sign. Their menu features, among other things, various types and serving sizes of biryani which could mean the menu is more regional than some other Indian spots.

Michelle Broner

This was my first time eating Indian food. It was so good. The restaurant is clean and everyone that works there was so nice and helpful.

Vivek Gopalakrishnan

We had buffet dinner from here on a Thursday. It was a veg buffet. Got good varieties.

Sai Sriharsha S

Been here like 10 times. Good food but not great. For a Satisfying indian food experience definitely will recommend the alternative places.

suhasini udayar

Worst service. We went at 215 for the buffet after calling and checking with them. They said that they will serve till 245. And we arrived, they say the kitchen is closed and we can eat what's left. We were hungry with a baby so decided to eat. The food was bad. Place was dirty and I would say stay away from the restroom. I have done carry out here and tiffan Thursday, that's good

ANIL KHANDEI

The best place to eat south indian food. The lunch buffet is just amazing. I love the dosa, the chicken chettinad biryani and other dishes are nice too.

Saee Kalewar

I have been to this place many times. The food here has been good except a few busy times, at such times the food tastes stale. The floor of the restaurant is always dirty and the fat lady working there is very rude. The seating in the place is packed and when asked for a different seating (when there are empty tables) she behaves rude and says NO. Generally for people who are sitting and eating there the order to arrive takes a long whereas there are several to go orders continuously going. After the order is served, they dont come back to ask if there is anything needed or do not attend if called. My biryani was served without raita and asked for it twice but didnt get it.

Mounica Vinayakamurthy

Delicious authentic Indian food. Love the biryani and weekend buffets here. Friendly staff.

swat Dsg

The ambience is nice and they have really wide variety of Biryanis..Especially the Masala Dosa!! It is not super oily and tastes good..The only thing they need to enhance is providing prompt service..In my case, me and my companion ordered a menu together but I was served much before my companion. To be precise my menu came at the table 30 mints before !! ) Well mistakes do happen but the way they rectified it was really worth to be appreciated !! So they really deserve a five star in my case..

Mohammad Ali Ranginwala

Excellent Indian restaurant. Some of the best biryani in Indianapolis. All of their dishes are really good, consistent quality, good presentation, and portion sizes are good. Overall good experience.

neeraj singh

Not too many options. Food was too spicy. There was hardly any option for vegetarians.

Pradeep Gunda

I went by seeing the reviews. Buffet is too bad. There are few items but not tasty. Most of them are chicken items only with one sweet. The lady who serves is rude. I prefer not to go for buffet in this restaurant again.

Anisha Dongol

The good food will make up for the lackluster service. The biryani from here has been consistently good and I tried the buffet once which was nice as well. The south indian dishes are a must try and will diversify your regular indian buffet experience.

Prashil Negandhi

Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani. Spicy recommended.

Vishwajeet Hanchate

I have been visiting this place twice in a month since last 1.5 years, each time I visited, I have experienced good taste of the biryani which I used to order (Chicken dum biryani). The waiter service used to be good. But, in a recent visit, I had a bad experience, that I ordered biryani and It was too late after the order (about after 90 min), the waiter said there's no more biryani left (but I saw two more people after us getting biryani). I had my family with me and we got completely disappointed that day. They should have informed us at least at the time of order or some time after the order. We had been waiting so long (45 min to get the table and 90 mins after the food order) that makes us disappointing. And also no any waiter attending our desk to ask for everything going fine or not. We ended up eating Chicken pulav the only item left that day (Free). The lady at the cash counter also behaving ignorant, when I went to the counter to pay my other order bills. I was waiting 15 min at the counter to get her attention to process the bill. We ended up spending nearly 3 hrs in that little space.

Scott Hepburn

Friendly service and great food at an affordable price. Their lunch buffet was maintained very well and the food was hot and flavorful. The chicken Tikka masala was a highlight with the chili chicken a favorite as well.

Prajakta Waghmare

Great for Indian breakfast and Biryanis

Gagandeep Singh

So in the last couple of months I visited a lot of Indian restaurants in and around Indiana. I couldn't find any restaurant that was as good as Hyderabad House. The dishes served here literally taste Indian(Meanwhile other restaurants just exist for the sake of existing). The dishes had good blend of spices, flavor and aroma. It is worth a visit. Atleast one will be able to set a benchmark based on this.

Karin Johnston

My family and I like to go here at least once a month. The staff is friendly. Food is always fresh and delicious.

I would like to split my review into 2 different parts for better understanding: Branch: Indianapolis Last year's review: We visited Hyderabad House many times and this is one of the best places for Hyderabad Biriyani. They are Masters in Special Chick. Biriyani, Raju gari kodi paluv, Dum Biriyani, Goat Biriyani, Pakoda, and Curry leaf chicken ( not limited to these). The quality of food is awesome here in this place and this is the only place you will enjoy the taste of south Indian food in Entire Indy. Recent Review: Here is my last 4 experiences in recent months: 1) Ordered to go on phone for just one Curry leaf chicken and as usual 20 mins is the wait time, which is expected . we are under the impression that its being prepared hot. But, it is not !! The chicken is not hot and on top of it, it is cold inside. For sure this is might be freezed earlier( still tastes good). Since i was right out side the restaurant(in the car) i informed the management about the incident . 2) Went to Lunch Buffet and found the food is not hot. There are many bowls which are like half empty, Briyani without chicken and other curries are not good too. Felt bad and informed management that there is a taste difference compared to previous lunch buffet experiences. 3) Placed a to go order for few Biriyanis and other starters: Food was not tasty as expected and too much oily. 4) Restaurant Experience (Dinner): Ordered for Spl.Chick Biriyani and Curry leaf chicken. I got a chicken starter which is not actually a curry leaf chicken and Biriyani is over cooked , the rice is overcooked too which is as close to upma rice!! I did informed in the counter about he experience and asked them if chef is on leave or changed !! I know i wrote a big review, but this helps to management to correct the things and to keep the fame. However, this is still best place for south Indian food at least for now.

Happieson Dsa

Very good spicy food.

Jeanette Jones

The food was delicious and the staff is very kind and welcoming. The food was spicier than some other Indian food locations, which I love. The ONLY problem here is the facility. It is a popular location and would be even better in a building that could hold more people comfortably and have a larger location for their buffet. Delightful food, though!

Chuahdary Abdul Waheed

Awesome buffet selection; especially on weekends. Reccomended to visit

laxman godthi

Appetizers are good but Chicken dum Biryani was not upto mark

janetta m

Scrumptious, just don't be in a hurry.

John Stankiewicz

If you're in search of an Indian buffet, this is the place. One way to judge the quality of such a buffet is the number Indian-heritage patrons; determined by this characteristic this must be the best place in Indy! It's always packed around lunch, but the table staff is quick and you shouldn't have to wait long for a table (if at all). A lot of buffets tend to cater to the lowest common denominator when it comes to spice level; not Hyderabad house. You can get some downright spicy stuff here. I also love the variety. They usually have a few classics like butter chicken or tiki masala, but they always have ten or more dishes I've never even heard of before (goat curries seem popular, but so do chicken and vegetarian). The only things that make this less than perfect for me and my wife are the closely spaced tables and the fact that it's relatively pricey at $12 for a lunch.

craig moore

Love this place. Great selection of biryanis and their buffet has a much wider selection of dishes than any other place in Indy. But the buffet is only on weekends I believe.

Mechelle Gilliland

Love this place great food but what happened to the real plates and glasses?

Suyash Agrawal

Food is nice but service is slow and poor.

Barinder Maan

Really good food awsome service worth a try guys might want to visit

Ram

Awesome south Indian food in this area..

Michael Patience

Amazing food here!! I tried the lamb, and it was so good. So good.

Anthony Di Palmo

Amazing authentic indian cuisine. Some of the more spicy cuisines in indy

Kayla Rodenberg

Best Indian food I've had in forever!

George Johnston

Beat Indian food in Indy hands down

Hiral Patel

Customer service at its worst. Got in the restaurant at 9:05PM they close at 10.00PM. Female waitress came to ask for order at 9:12PM, gave order for appetizer rightaway. We asked to give us a few minutes to decide on main course. Waitress denied saying kitchen closes so its the last call. They need time to clean up also. Took the full order and left. Brought appetizers and main course all together. Horrible experience. Will never return. Why put closing time of 10pm when you are rushing yours kitchen closes at 9:15pm? Utter stupidity. Shame.

Piyush Patel

Do not expect any customer service. I mean very rude to tell us that you need to order by 9:30 pm as our kitchen close at 9:30. When we said that your official time to close is 10:00 pm and we were told that it doesn’t matter. I belongs to service industry. I will fire my employee if they answer like that to my customers. Never coming back and yes I am one of their regular customer and experienced this kind of service in last few visits.

Sanchita Sheth

Delicious Biryani

F AD

The food is very good, but the Indian lady who is working over there is too rude and never smiles, and she's talking to you like you did something wrong or bad.. I hope she learn how to deal with customers..

Bala Subramani

Ordered a to go family pack biriyani and when checked the food was already spoiled with sticky rice and other foods were too spicy. Never ever will visit this place again.

Mahesh Suravarjjala

Excellent restaurant with great South Indian dishes. We ordered variety of dosas and every type of dosa was well made. Reminded me of restaurant quality in India. Not very spicy. I would have liked a bit more spicy options. Overall, we had a great experience. Ambience is good. Wait time was minimal. We were seated right away and the serving was very professional. All of the staff were wearing an uniform. Would love to try Buffett some time. Dinner was an average of $12. That is really inexpensive for a great experience we had.

Anish Ninan

Try the Vijayawada special biryani! It's delicious!

ashutosh nayak

Could have more variety of deserts or better dessert. Food was awesome. Missed dosa in the menu , and also idli

Ronell Chakola

The food is very great. It is authentic Indian cuisine. By itself, the food could almost equal out the congestion of the place. The service is horrible, the waitress who served us paid quite a bit of attention to the ipad that she was taking our order on that she missed some of the order. When we asked about that dish, she said we never ordered it. There was no apology or reimbursement.

taiwo olusegun

This is a place u can get the best healthy meal in town, the chefs are best have seen in cooking good food and with enthusiasm the staffs welcomes u. Their food is awesome...

Ryan Gilles

Feels very authentic; food and service was really good

Lorie Calderon

I eat here once a week. The best indian food i've ever had. The staff is so nice, the food is always beautifully presented- hot and fresh and soooooo good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Liam Bottoms

This place has wonderful decor, smells amazing, and the food is amazing. I enjoyed having lunch there. I only have two complains. I'm not Indian and i don't know how spicy various dishes are; I wish they would specify that. Also, the waiters don't give you more water, so I'm dying of curry and don't have any water left. Regardless, I would definitely recommend the restaurant to friends: I've never had better naan.

Nitin Thakur

Don’t expect a lot. I personally didn’t like the food!! All Non-veg items!!

Vijay Suram

I would give more stars if possible. Taste from this restaurant is so awesome that I never expected from an Indian restaurant in the US. We ordered food for a big event for 250 people and they gave us for morethan 300 servings and every single person who ate the food appreciated the taste. It was so authentic and yummy. I suggest you to go to this place if you are around Indianapolis. We had to drive 80 miles carrying food for the event, I was surprised and felt personal that they called us to check on us whether we reached safely or not with so much food in the car. They are so sweet!

Manoj Baskaran

Good food and especially yummy taste on all their chicken Gravy’s and mutton chops

Christopher Otto

Naan could have been fresher, but the food was tasty. I'd eat here again. The Hyderabad chicken biryani was the best I've had so far

Shivalik Das

Food wise good but service pathetic... The restaurant timings changes according to their own wish and even if you are at the restaurant and order something they will say kitchen is closed atleast an hour ago so that they can leave on time... Rather change the opening hours if you want to reach home early... Few of the staff are good but since the owners changed a lot has changed to the worst side... If they can improve on the customer service then everything will be perfect...

Subby S

It is an awesome restaurant which has tiffin nights in Thursday. Tiffin night will have items including Dosa, Idli, Poori with other South Indian sides and it do worth for just $14. Earlier it was Dosa night which will have a composite variety of Dosa. Apart from these weekend buffets are very good and delicious. Wait time is more in peak hours.

Smit Patel

I have a bad experience for the food I got it online from Hyderabadi House. I ordered Gongura chicken which comes out to be very salty and Gobi manchurian(wet) which was very bitter in taste. Please tell your chef to at least taste the food when making it.

Shashank Kunjibettu

Restaurant serves the best Biryani here in Indiana. The paneer Biryani is delicious and is a must try. Apart from the Biryani; curries and naan are very good as well. Earlier the dosas along with the sambhar served tasted authentic - but not anymore! Service is ok and wait times to be seated could be very long sometimes.

David Bauer

A nice little Indian buffet style restaurant. I have eaten there twice so far and walked away full both times.

Lakshan Salgado

Fast service, a bit pricey, biryani could.be better, dosai was excellent and priced Right.

Pallav Sohoni

Biryani is love, biryani is life. Chicken lollipop is pretty good too. I wish i could give 4.5 stars for our food was served undercooked once and owner didnt handle the situation well. Still that's one out of 10 visits. So pretty good overall.

kishore babu

Good variety of items in lunch buffet. Most of the food items are tasty. Space is smaller and crowded during peak hours

Shelbiisaurus Dude

Amazing goat.. Very spicy! Loved it! I will be back for more!

Murugappan Ramanathan

Always crowded in the evening but good food

Alessandro Pia

Our server Pradeep took our to-go order and kindly offered us booth seating while we waited for it. The wait was a little over 30 minutes, but the boneless chicken biryani was well worth it.

Rayid Sakib

The food definitely didn't meet the expectations.

B V

Lunch Buffet was not good.Biriyani was not tasty.

Jayashree Jayapal

Food was very good. Menu was different from the stereotypic one. Chicken biriyani, curry leaf chicken fry were amazing. Malpua was not good. But there were vada and potato wedges as well. Lemon rice, sambar rice and curd rice was good. Lot of options for vegetarians too.

Jach Davi

Nawabi Hyderabad House has amazing Indian food. This was my first time ever trying Indian food and I was thoroughly impressed with what I had. I was with a friend and we ordered the butter chicken. I had butter naan as my choice of bread and we both had basmati rice. For dessert, we got the gulab jamun which was heavenly - they melted in your mouth as you ate them. I'm giving 4 stars because the service was extremely slow - even though there was barely anybody there when we arrived - and Google won't let me give 4.5 stars. Otherwise, I was very happy with my visit here and would definitely come back again.

Sat Mire

Their buffet is sure good. Good variety of hot and spicy food.

akshay babrekar

Regret being here and I wish we did not have our food here coz two of us are suffering from major Stomach ace after having food from here...

Vicky Pradyumna

Amazing taste - Raju Gari Kodi Pulav. Dont miss it only on weekends

Hasan Nawab

Food is good... their spicy is very spicy

Chandrakant Prasad

Out of all Indian restaurants I like this one most given it has honesty towards indian spices and is near authentic to what I generally have in any Indian city. Most of the reviews I see is for bad customer service experiences which doesn’t is always the case. As it is better tasting of all so the crowd flocks to it and hnce the crowd. So most of the bad reviews I read and decipher is due to their inability to wait or arrival at the end of day when it is near closure. Its a bad habit to post a wrong review that may influence a number of customers. Kindly avoid it. My personal experience has always ben good and I tip appropriately to show my gratitude :)

CHILAKALA MANISRAVAN

Good food and good ambiance!

Valencia D

I loved their Chicken Tikka Masala. It's delicious. But a friend and I ordered carryout from them 3 times in a row to try different things on the menu and every time it was the same Chicken Tikka Masala. So, my friend was disappointed and will not be ordering from there any more.

Manit Kaliraj

I went in there today driving 2 hours just to eat biryani. As soon as I walked in I wasn't greeted or offered any table. Few minutes later, I was told to go the table which was not cleaned nor it was set up with spoon/fork/napkin. The big o lady who seemed to be owner was yelling at the poor employee in her native language. I didn't understand what she was saying but I could see in the employee's face as he was getting yelled and embarrassed. They were more focused on preparing catering order (foods by tray) than refilling buffet items. Jeez, the vegetable biryani looked one week old and dessert cups were dirty (not washed properly). Very bad customer service as I ain't going there no more. Please re-think twice before going there. We don't go there to eat free, we pay $$. I still feel sorry for the poor guy.

yogi

Awesome food. This place gets me all nostalgic. People seeking spicy South Indian food will not be disappointed. It has become my go-to place whenever I feel like tasting mom's food.

Sunil Salis

Good buffet!

Swathanth Kuchipudi

I'm only giving this place a two start because of what it used to be. It was the best Indian restaurant in Indiana but lately in the past 2 months, they just changed so much. Today, I went in and they were serving food in shaky disposable plates. I asked one of the waiter while paying the bill why they are doing that and he said " It makes our job easy". They don't even do the food refills anymore. Half the trays are empty and they don't even care. As a lover of Hyderabad House, I hope you make this a better place again.

Sujata Kolla

They serve authentic Indian food. My personal favourite is egg biryani..must try

Genna Gallardo

Dirty restroom. Waiting long time for my food.

Vijay Sankar

Great value buffet with well-prepared Indian dishes. Definitely worth a try if you're interested in Indian. The restaurant is a bit small with limited seating, though. Please provide water in glasses, instead of plastic bottles!

Shreyas Ravichandra

Always have received the best service and great food

Eric Willman

Their lunch buffet prices seem to be a bit high for a lunchtime offering, but the food is excellent. The staff is friendly, but did not seem interested in helping out those of us not knowledgeable in Indian food with our dining options.

Mohammad Bashiri

Food is good. However, dine in experience was the worst. Long waits on food and no knowledge of food service. They bring you the entrees before appitizers. And by that time you don't have an appetite for apptizers anymore. The guy with long pony hair never carries a pen and paper to jot down your order, instead he acts smart to just memorize it and he has messed up my food on several occasions and have forgotten certain food orders. They may have the best food but everytime i go there the service just grosses me out. They should look into hiring professional waiters and waitresses or just make the place a to go place.

vagdevi suryadevara

Good customer service and good place to choose for Indian food..their will be little wait time but its worth waiting for tasty food

Arka Saha

Overpriced food. Not even that much tasty. Better try a different Indian restaurant.

lavanya Krithivasan Subbarayan

Food here is waaay too hot and spicy! We had specifically asked them to reduce the amount of heat but the food was fiery.

Tark Talk

Amazing food. I eat there at LEAST twice a week.

Ganashyam Subramaniyan

Nice food. Amazing biryani. Wait staff a bit quirky

mahanth kumar

Small area but the quality of food was awesome

swargam prashanth

Not the best. Good enough to water your mouth though

Vikram Jadhav

Bit pricey but food is good. Desserts and biryani are good in buffet.

kranthi juvva

Really worth to have food here, good place for tasty food.

Joe Frank

Bland food.Too spicy and Biryani chicken was full of dangerous tiny bones. Very dry and hard to chew garlic naan. Female cashier talking down to a male server as if the server was a child.

Ajit Kotnis

Amazing food. Keep it up

laura foster

Amazing food, big portions, best biryani ever! I highly recommend Hyderabad!

Justin Smith

My friend from Hyderabad took me here...best Indian food I've had yet. The spice level isn't toned down, which is great (and rare). A lot of great options on the buffet for lunch. Service wasn't an issue at all. Will be back!

Sujay Mayur

Food is very very delicious. Could not have asked for tastier Indian food, the Andra Chicken, and Biryani and Madras Chicken, you name it, and it's just perfect. But the place is very congested, typical Indian style with lot of crowd and no respect for space. The waiters and owner are good to talk to, but never smile when first greeting. There is one lazy looking waiter and possibly relative of the owner (or maybe the owner himself). He just seems to have woken up form sleep, with long and totally untidy hair, I mean be a little neat for crying out loud! You are serving people their food, let them feel good to look at you! I fear his hair might get into the food. The interior of this hotel is also not all that cozy, doesn't feel welcoming. However, I will continue to patronize this place for the absolutely excellent food.

Rob Alfano

Off the charts good! As someone who is familiar to Indian food and have been eating it for years I can tell you the Hyderabad House is insanely good. Butter chicken spiced perfectly with just enough heat, sag was delicious. Service was great! Cant believe this is a chain.

Ramya Sandeep

Small place but great food. Must try their Vijayawada spl chicken biryani; spicy though

Dave Crim

Went to this place with a native Indian; Highly recommend it as an authentic Indian restaurant. The food was amazing; slightly on the spicier end of things - but hey, good Indian food should be a little spicy. A little disappointed their oven had broke so they couldn't make Naan on the one day I went, but I would still go back.

Prabhakar Chintalapati

vegetarian food is good, especially south Indian breakfast is great. Never tried non vegetarian.

Prateek Pawar

Goat biryani is a must have. You have to order in ahead because they run out of sooner than any other dishes and then you'd have to settle for the chicken biryani which isn't as flavorful. Also their weekend chick was really good. Indo Chinese isn't impressive and I suggest you rather try all the South Indian dishes.

Aditya Shahi

Food is really good. If you really enjoy all food then try to be there early.During weekdend, if you are thinking to be there by 2 or 2:30 with the expectation that you will get a chance to try all, forget. They do not refill all after finishing. May be they run out of stock but ideally they should provided everyone to try. There is big wait if you you show up around 2 or after 2.

Ravi Marimuthu

Absolutely delicious!! South indian cooking at it's best , which as a south Indian I can attest to. If I lived in Indy , I would be here every day as its evocative of my mum's food

Logan Wallace

Amazing variety of food at the buffet, not too spicy but really flavorful and different options. They also had a frozen mango mousse dessert that was to die for! Definitely would go again 10/10 reccomend!

Elizabeth J

Excellent authentic Indian food! Should probably have more waiters as it gets crowded easily because the area is small and you have to wait awhile for your food. If you like spicy food, this is certainly the place !

Shubham Sharma

Food was good, but I was not not happy with the service today.

Peter Beyel

The vegetarian buffet on Thursday evening was fantastic. I tried a bunch of dishes I had never heard of.

Carol Hetrick

Excellent Indian Food! Stopped here to eat before shopping in Costco and my taste buds were delighted!! Good variety at the buffet and the food was very fresh. Wait staff was very friendly.

Rachel Spudic

Authentic and inspired Indian food! I loved everything I tried on the lunch buffet, and greatly look forward to returning. Each of the biryani options offered were delicious, and everything packed enough of a punch to satisfy even those in our group who crave a lot of heat/spice.

chuckie vinice

BEST CHICKEN BIRYANI IN TOWN!

Matthew Carson

Absolutely the best if I had room for one I would own one very relaxing after a hard workout allows you to rest very well relaxes the whole body and reinvigorate you

Todd Walroth

We were so pleasantly surprised with our first trip here last week. The flavors were great and they had such a big menu to choose from. All of the staff were also very nice and service was quick, despite being busy! Nothing fancy, sure, but it doesn't really need to be because the food is so good. Check this place out!

Krishna Chaitanya Chetty A

The Indian lady from Kerala at this restaurant, who seems to be the wife of the owner is a little mean. It can get really crowded sometime. Its a really small place. Food is good though !

paul nicholas

I loved the chicken tikki masala. Also, they have a lunch buffet.

praveen prabhu

Ordered Vijayawada biryani....the food was great.

Khaja Moosa Salahuddin Mohammed

We visited here during buffet time in the early afternoon and the food was really good. Mostly everything tasted great. Not much can be said for buffet, it will live to your expectations for what you pay, more than what you okay for precise of you're hungry.

revanagouda pujer

Authentic Indian food, great taste

Sudha Rani

They serve nice buffet during the lunch time. Their speciality is vijayawada special chicken biryani which is boneless. They serve nice south indian dishes mysore masala dosa is nice and quite heavy served with sambhar, tomato chutney and coconut chutney.

Nitin Rathi

The biryani is pretty good. The kadaikudi goat naan is favorite dish here. The service is average. Wait times are longer, since the place is small. Overall good food with average ambience.

Josmon George

Very bad service. The waitress was very rude. She forgot the order for one of us and steered blacking us that we did not give the order for one person and no apology our nothing and on top of that they said the kitchen is closed and he can't get anything. It was 9.45pm and they still had the open signage. The food which we got was very good, so giving a star

Aakriti Deora

Oh yes it is a good restaurant tO dine in.. Little space but managed to accommodate descent number. But u will enjoy food as it tastes good and variety for vegetarian is in abundance. If u go lil late in afternoon..U may end up with some leftover n no refill @buffet & not much clean sitting.

Braden Pitts

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Indianapolis. The food is rich and flavorful! The spicy dishes are hot but still retain their flavor. The price is also very reasonable!

Kushan Chowdhury

One of the best Indian places here in the US. It's a small place and often waiting times are really high.

Lalit Chaudhari

Nice good Indian food. Only thing the place get crowded and have to wait in queue for long time

Krishna Shankar

Love the spicy food here. Authentic and taste home food. Only feedback is waiting time is high whenever I have visited as group around 9pm before their closure at 10pm. Incase your watching movie nearby, and want to eat here at above mentioned time, I would recommend to call before driving out to the restaurant. Couple of times we ended up waiting and taking parcel home after 9pm.

Nikhil Shinde

Buffet has nothing special, all sweet dishes are boring, you can have panner masala, chicken masala, and tandori chicken ....rest some boring items...

Abrar ul farhan Mohammed

Best biryani in town. Try vijayawada spl biryani.

Sam

I had the vegetable pakoras there. They were not so flavorful! Also the service was not so good. The chicken curry which is their weekend special also was pretty bland. They seem to have also degraded their vijayawada chicken biryani which did not have any spices!!

Aatika Maheen

Typical Andhra food, ordered chicken 65 and chicken masala, both were good

Tori Ovel

Oh my god what fantastic biryani. The spice level is high, but doesn't overcome the flavor. We are always thinking about how to get back there for more!

Rohan Patil

Good flavor with great quantities. i have only tried biryanis here though. nothing else. Biryanis are definitely recommended.

shiva Lrd

We travel miles from FortWayne Indiana to this particular restaurant. Best restaurant in Indy. We tried several other Indian restaurants in Indy, trust me this is worth spending your money and time.

Magnificent food! I love Indian food and have been to quite a few Indian restaurants (in multiple states) and this is by far my favorite! In addition to the food being delicious, the restaurant itself had a good atmosphere, was very clean, and the service was very good as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great Indian food in the Indianapolis area.

We Ordered 1. Hot & Sour Soup (Veg) 2. Veg. Corn Soup 3. Paneer Munchurian 4. Paneer Karaikudi 5. Garlic Naan Hot & Sour Soup (Veg) and Veg. Corn Soup was the most horrible soup that anyone can have infact I would not even think twice before saying that ready to make's Knorr Soups taste far better than what they had served us and after having these soups we had thoughts about our already placed order and it definitely lived up to our expectation Paneer Munchurian was so bad that's not even funny infact I have a feeling that the Paneer that they used was either expired one / over fried coz normally Paneer needs to be soft in texture and not chewy like Tootsie chocolate. Later after these we did not even have any expectation with the food being served there but to our surprise Paneer Karaikudi and Garlic Naan was eatable.... we really wanted to leave but we just stayed there only and only because we were hungry and we were not sure if we could find any other restaurants open but we definitely regret being there and I wish we did not have our food there coz two of us are suffering from major Stomach ace after having food from there... Apart from this I would like to point out towards the service at the place it was worst they came in our table 100 times asking us to leave and moreover they even started clearing up the dishes even when we had not finished our meals, I am not sure if it was because of the late hours but if that's the case then just a suggestion for the restaurant owner "you please let the people know that they are closing and hence cannot accept more people" rather than coming 100 times asking to clear up the table adding to this we did not even finish our food but we were made to pay as they were "closing". I am not sure why these people even have the rating of 4.1 they do not deserve that rating at least for the food that we were made to eat, the service and the trouble that me and my friend is facing after having that food. I am extremely apologetic if I am hurting someone’s feeling however I think its my duty to at least save people from suffering... If it was just about bad food and bad service I would still be okay but its completely unacceptable if it affects someone’s health….

Good food, actually one of the best south indian cuisine around Indianapolis. Try their paneer biryani. Their catering food was also good. In short Strange customer service. But, very strange customer service, on couple occasions, they got me a differen order and insisted that was what I ordered. They changed their style of making Paneer biryani, earlier the paneer used to be freshly cubed and lightly fried now they make it cut diagonally and stuff it below the rice. When asked about it, again insisted they always made it the second way. Got the food in hot spicy multiple times when asked for medium spicy and again they insisted that was medium spicy. The first time when we came here as a group of 3 they offered to seat us in a table for 2 and we said we will wait until a bigger table was available. The response by the waiter - "people line up to eat the food standing". Okay then. Their wait times for to go sometimes extends beyond 45 minutes and when asked they ask us the exact time when we called and ask us to count the minutes. Strange. But all that said, I ignore all these for the good food .

Nice and spicy south Indian food but limited buffet menu

They serve real Indian food (not the kind where they put loads of cream/sugar in a paneer curry). If you miss home, visit this place

I loved the buffet option. They aren't very large so expect a wait on buffet days and times. A 2nd restaurant will be open soon. Definitely spicier

The standards fell pretty badly since they opened this restaurant. I always struggle to understand why they have a LAYERED PARATHA instead of a butter or regular Naan that is dry and cold for curries. The veg curries are just sub par. Definitely not the combinations I would want to eat with Paratha. The biryani for sure does not taste fresh. On top of everything the size of restaurant is so small that we sit very closer to the exit and during winters as people keep coming in there is no blowers to stop the cold entering and the cold breeze gets you every few minutes. I requested the manager during my earlier visit to fix this as this is a simple fix but seems like they did not care enough. I visit once every month at least. I should start exploring other restaurants here after.

Key to genuine ethnic food: Go where the Caucasians aren't. The restaurant fills for weekend buffets, mostly with those of Indian ancestry. If you can't tolerate spicy food, avoid the buffet and ask for guidance. If you can't tolerate "weird" food, the closest you'll get is a Nutella dosa. But for those looking for well-prepared, authentic Indian food, this is a good place to visit.

Are you hyderabadi and a biryani lover.! Soon you should be to this place then..!

Muktanil Duttaroy

Food is good with all the southern flavor. Make sure to reach early for tables else have to wait long in queue. Space is very congested, the tables are very small. Really difficult for 4 people. But if you are a fan of Hyderabadi cuisine, this is good place in Indy. P.S : If you pay by cash, you can save around $2 per buffet.

lekhya rao
