Fun time! Love the live music. I always get the same waitress and she's sorta snappy. LOVE the free buffet. Super loud. Not a place for small talk because it's sooo loud. Small dance floor but people still do it.

I had so much fun at this bar last night! The dueling piano players have great voices and they made extra efforts to pump up the crowd and get us engaged. The drinks had a good value. Great venue for a night out with good dance music. Highly recommend.

Used to be one of my favorite places to go, but they have gotten away from what put them as a prime place in the beginning. They used to be 2 people at pianos bantering back and forth while playing and interacting with the crowd. They have evolved and included drums, guitars, and lead singers. They still have some of the interactions, but appear to be more of a cover band with interchangeable parts. They still perform well and create a fun atmosphere, just not as what I was used to. I would still encourage others to give a try and see.

I’m not the kind of person that visits places like this anymore, but my coworkers organized a Holiday Party there and I decided to give it a try. I do not regret a bit! I liked the variety of drinks, but specially the music! Oh my! There’s a lot of talent there. The musicians rotate from singing to one or another instrument. They take requests from the guests and really know how to spread the enthusiasm even to not-a-party-person like me.

I can't stress enough how disgusting and awful this place is. The band was terrible and had no charisma. The house drinks are sugary, weak, and way overpriced. The beer is not nearly warm enough, and the bar is consistently sticky. Cover fees? Come on. I leave 2 stars only because I think it is expected that a place like this would be so disgusting and pricey.

My husband and I had so much fun at this bar! There was a good variety of drinks and the live music was so much fun!! The band was very interactive with the crowd and got almost the entire bar dancing. It was also so fun to just sit and watch the band- every band player knew every instrument; we were so amazed watching each player rotate so seemlessly between instruments and have so much fun doing so! It was VERY crowded when we arrived, but we still got our drinks very quickly making it easy to enjoy our time :)

Nice setup. They have a fairly talented "band" that does a nice mix of dueling piano performances and more traditional live entertainment. The performers swap in and out, while moving between instruments. As with any piano bar, they like to engage the crowd and bring members of the audience up on stage during the performance.

My son won a happy hour party. I think this is a promotional thing to get traffic in the place. The entertainment was decent. There are very talented performers there. If you have so many people in your party you get a bucket drink. Tried some and it was ok. Not sure which flavor he chose. The happy hour says there is food while supplies last. It consisted of potato salad, nacho chips with some beans and meat and toppings that were sparse and not the freshest looking, and some sweets - cookies, brownie cubes, and eclairs that had been cut up. So random - like a dude had cleaned out his refrigerator. If you advertise food - have a decent offering. The free drink you have about 5 things to choose from. Make sure to give your token before you order. My daughter got a well whiskey. But the free one is an even lesser version than well I guess because the bartender poured it out after she presented the token. I think as a business you lose more $ pouring something out than just serving it. Decor is not pleasant. Place is run down. I got a text saying I "won" a free happy hour party a week later. So did my husband. I won't be taking them up on that offer.

Terrible place to go. Definitely should pick a different bar in indy. Bartenders served my friends and I then tried to kick us out about 5 minutes later before we could finish our drinks because they wanted to close half an hour early. Rude and terrible servers and bouncers. Bouncer kicked out some gentleman patiently waiting for their ride inside, out of the cold and rain.

Bars aren't my usual hangout but we were there for a bachelor party. The live band was good, playing 80-00s hits for the crowd to sing along. Be warned that it was incredibly loud. Our group had to shout right next to each other to be heard. Four stars because when I tried to order a drink I waited in line, got to the front and then was ignored for about 5 minutes... Enough time for a whole song to finish. This was after no less than 4 bartenders made eye contact and walked by.

Howl at the Moon is a very fun and lively bar. It is much different than other bars in the area because they always have live music performed by very talented musicians. You can also request songs! The drink specials are great, and they have a lowered cover charge in Thursday’s. Very clean and high quality bar!

We got there early, before the entertainment started, enjoyed quick service and what not. The entertainment started with 2 piano players, and it was nice. Our requests were played, even with some resistance. The night went on, we all drank beers, had fun. Then I made another request "american soldier", by toby Keith, and under comments I wrote "requested by and american soldier". I waited, and waited, and waited. The bar went from 25% packed, to 75% packed. And I waited, and waited, and waited, 10 songs at least (which was twice as many songs as were requested when I submitted mine) until it was blatantly obvious that my request was ignored, that I paid for mind you, to decide that it was time to go. Now whether it was a personal issue with the person that picked up the request, or a political issue with the bar, I dont care, but the fact that a paid request was ignored, is a problem. They are paid to entertain, not enforce their political views.

What a great time with friends and amazing music from truely talented musicians. This bar offers a large open space and patio. The lower floor near the stage is a great place for a group of friends to get up close to the action and participate. The upper level offers plenty of bar seating and gathering places to rest your feet from hours of dancing. Had a blast!

This is one of the best bars I have ever been to. The talented performers have NEVER let me down and always bring the crowd to their feet. It is a pretty pricey bar, but honestly I am not a big drinker and just enjoy the show anyway. They take requests and any party's you throw there are sure to be great. This place is a lot of fun. Those kids on stage really do a great job at reading and entertaining the crowd. The perks you get with reserving tables are unbeatable. Had such a wonderful time here!!! I am visiting from out of town and have never been before, the live band was amazing, was playing some of the best music! The bar tenders where so attentive and keen. Shelby was helping me for most of the night she have such great service to me and my friends, she deserves to be there! She kept a clean bar and was so kind. Page helped me when it was time for Shelby to go home. If I am ever back here, I will definitely be stopping by again!

Although the time there was spent well and I had fun there are some improvements that can be made. Prices for drinks were pretty steep not to mention the entry fee was an arm and a leg but for unique drinks and live music I guess you could call it fare. That being said the music could be turned down a smidge. Don't get me wrong I like loud crazy music as much as the next person but there is a thin line between hyped music and blaring music. But that's just my opinion. Over all a good place to go but not for everyone.

The musicians here are absolutely amazing! They can go from one genre of music to another no problem. There's a song for everyone! You can also put in requests, just ask your server. Also the drink prices were reasonable and plenty strong. You could also check with the front desk at one of the hotels nearby and see if they are still giving out passes to get you in for no cover charge. I would love to go back next time I'm downtown.

I use to visit often but after moving further north it's been once in a blue moon that I am able to make it down. Kendal was our server Friday night and she was underwhelming to say the least very short and rude with our table , she seemed very preoccupied and just overall terrible service. Our drinks were still great and the band was amazing as expected , but very difficult getting past the fact we were made to feel like we were such an incovience to her time.

They always have live bands playing and special or themed events throughout the year. Most of the times if you go, they'll enter you to "win" a free party but I've won one every time I've been there, so I suspect it's a way to attract customers. Either way, the party options offer several packages to choose from and you can score free entry, drink, and drink specials for not just yourself but everyone who enters by giving your name at the door. If nothing, it's always a good place to just hang out and listen to live music.

I'd recommend reserving a table. It's $100, but that covers 4 people's cover charge ($40) and you get a gift card for $40, so essentially the table is $20. Lots of fun, the musicians play most of the requests you ask for. I think they played 4-5 of ours and the place was packed that night, so it wasn't like they weren't getting other requests.

We try to come as often as possible because it beats piped in music or even the occasional good live band experience. Must see live entertainment. Wait staff was funny and nice. Meh. I went for a buddy’s party and it was okay. We got some free lukewarm food and a free drink. I’m a *total* light weight when it comes to alcohol. As in a glass of wine has me drunk. I drank 3 of their cocktails back to back to back and didn’t even get a buzz - the alcohol must have been non-existent. The music was entirely too loud and rather screechy for my taste. The bartender, Brent, and our waitress, Abby, were super sweet and attentive though!

Ehh. LOVE the Fruit Roll up drink. We went for 90's night, and the band was playing stuff from the 70's, 80's and even Demi Lovatto's Sorry Not Sorry. It seemed like they were stuck on song ideas. The singer also sang at the same key range for all songs. Some of my favorite songs took me a while to figure out what song it was! Disappointing. Our waiter took a LONG time to get drinks. Only reason I go is for my favorite drink. Otherwise a house band a at local bar sounds much better.

Great place to celebrate or just have a fun evening out. This is my second time celebrating 21st birthdays with my nieces! SO much fun. Booking was so easy and smooth. Both times the birthday guests were brought up on stage and recognized, which they loved! Drinks are fantastic, everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming. We visited this place on a weekend trip. My husband and I didnt realize it was a good idea to get reservations for a table. Being from kut of town we just showed up and didnt know much about this place. There was a server who was si kind. She got us a table right away on a standing room only kind of night. I reserved a table for my birthday. 7 guests with me. The bartender was excellent the live show was very entertaining. The guest of honor roll call was great. However there should be a point when people are cut off and sent out the door. During my roll call I had a very drunk woman interrupting my roll call walking up to the stage and trying to start problems. She sat there booing the performance and wobbling around the stage. I ignored the woman and the entertainer on stage actually told her to leave me alone. After the roll call me and my guests kept being disturbed by the exact same woman. I took my party outside with the General public. The bartender asked if I wanted to give my table away since we are now sitting outside. I told her no I don’t but I’d like to have a good time and I can’t do that with people who need to be thrown out. So we stayed outside on the deck and enjoyed each others company letting a table I paid for go to waste. As a business if you have a paid party and several guests inside spending money on top of it. There should be a point when you kick out a individual interfering with your paid guests. The security needs to be better.

I made a "jump the line" reservation 50 hours before I visited the location. I called the location over a dozen times, before 7pm & after 7pm to no avail. I never received a confirmation. When I arrived, the host Chase informed me that I was not on the list. I asked for the manager & Shawn appeared & took care of me. I did not receive the gift cards that accompany a reservation but he secured me a table. My server Taylor ignored me the ENTIRE night. I had to force her to serve me which she did only once. I waited over 1 hour & 20 minutes after my 1st drink order & she promised to return to me after she served other tables but never returned. So I went to the bar where Chris the bartender made up for Taylor's mistakes. He made me two very strong drinks which saved my night. Thx host Chase, manager Shawn, & bartender Chris. Taylor almost ruined my nite.

This is our second time visiting this venue during the Indy WWETT trade show. The drinks are good, staff is friendly and really enjoy the amazing talent on stage both visits. Such an amazing talent for them to be able to rotate thru all the instruments while singing great songs! Shawna was at the door - great personality! While waiting for our hotel shuttle to pick us up, we saw a potential problem with an intoxicated gentleman - the staff handled him very appropriately and the GM Rob was there to help his staff in seconds! Awesome support from management. Had an enjoyable time and will be back next year.
