Very fun and family friendly, even if you don't bring enough people with you to fill a whole table you get to sit with some "stranger's" that end up becoming good friends by the end of the night. The chefs all have their own different personalities and it's amazing, they all have neat little tricks they do and I happen to go on my birthday where I got an extra little surprise at the end! I don't want to spill too much information because I would like you to go see for yourself but it's absolutely amazing you would enjoy it!

The guy waiter that we had was horrible The bartender is horrible mixing drinks and please note that if they make it whether you like it or not you will be charged for it(despite not drinking or wanting it) it says it in the menu(so they must be known for horrible drinks) lastly the manager probably couldn't dress himself without help, let along trying to manage a restaurant(unfit to park a car even REALLY)

Edit: the server Kayla brought this review to 4 stars and the sushi was delicious as well. But after everything Kayla made the entire experience worth while. Service was.slow, but she handled it very well, tood us she was swamped and she continued to check in on us and making sure everything was taken care of. She even never let out drinks get.empty which for.me.is a huge deal. Thank you again. Wish we lived closer than Michigan. After being told that it is a 30 to 45.minute wait inask to sit at the sushi bar which has no one sitting at it and was told no, that would not be possible. Then told maybe an appetizer could be done but no sushi. I came here to eat sushi and to be told to wait while not eating it, to wait for a table seems ridiculous. I would much rather be told " we are overwhelmed, it will ne a long time before any rolls are made and have a seat." Just seems for a Saturday they understaffed, overwhelmed, and under trained. If I was sitting at.the sushi bar I wouldnt.be able to write this as I would be focused on options.

I love Fujiyama's. The food is great and it's always fun to watch the chefs prepare the food in front of you. If you don't care about the "chef show" or are in a hurry, there's a separate room where the meal is prepared in the kitchen. Same wonderful food and Abit more quiet.

They have change since I used to go there frequently. Was not impressed with anything they served. Wish they would go back to the original recipes. Hibachi is one of our favorite types of meals to enjoy when we go out. And this place was pretty good. Our cook truly did something we have never seen. He missed the egg and it went off the table. Amost hitting a customer. So guessing he was pretty new at it. PRICE was right in line with most hibachi grills.. the sauces were all great.. the fried roce fell a little short and to pay to have it as an upgrade it dam well better be great and it wasn't..it just lacked something.. overall good service and good food.

If you can get Roy as your chef he is hilarious. Great tricks and very funny. Our bill for 4 was $134 but was worth every penny with his great entertainment.

I chose the hibachi side and ordered the Shogun with fried rice. It did not disappoint, neither did the chef and his skills. I ordered the sushi sampler and it was all fresh and delicious, with generous portions of the fish for each sample. I will definitely go back when I am in the area again.

1st thing to know is...the 'original' Fujiyama's is the one in Beechgrove off the Emerson exit, from 465. I've heard all negative feedback from the Fujiyama's on Washington St. I know for a fact that the two restaurants are NOT affiliated. That being said, we have been going to Fujiyama's for 25+ years and it was an instant favorite for my mom, sister, and me! The tradition continues with my children. The photo shows our most recent visit at which we celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday! I had made an online reservation the morning of our visit where I had simply typed 'birthday' in the 'special occassion' field and they took care of the rest. You would've thought they had given my daughter a puppy when they brought out a complimentary pineapple dish with cherries, little paper umbrellas, a sparkler, and of course, a candle, for the birthday wish! Side notes: dress in layers as it tends to be rather warm and the website has coupons but they MUST be printed out and taken with you. The expiration does NOT matter.

My wife and I love Hibachi and frequent Hibachi restaurants relatively often. Fujiyama is by far the best. Victor is hands down the most talented Hibachi chef we've ever seen. Absolute crazy skills plus he's hilarious and fun to interact with. Prices are very reasonable and throughout 5+ visits we've never had anything but great interactions with the staff. This place is a real gem.

Today it's mothers day and our reservation for 8 was at 430. We left at 526 and the manager offered no explanation as to why we were still not seated. We had a 2 and 4 year old and finally enough room inside at 515 and it was really cool outside where we've been since 430 . Never had this wait experience there before. They seated a party of 20 with 5 pm reservations before seating a party of 8 with 430 reservations. They need to make major changes.

Something was off with my visit during lunch time today. Ordered the chicken and steak on the hibachi side. We received the steak then vegetables then chicken then the fried rice with probably 2-3 minutes between dishes. I could’ve been doing hibachi wrong this whole time when I received all my portions at the same time from other establishments. Don’t get me wrong the food was good.

Went for lunch. Really good sushi. Fast service. I had the spicy scallop roll and the sushi deluxe platter. The spicy sauce they make actually has some heat to it. Not outrageous, but you can definitely feel it. Would recommend and will come back.

Fujiyama is great for all ages. The hibachi chef's are hilarious and great showmen. They serve alcohol. The food is delicious. Great for large groups or a date night out. The only downside to the place is that they do not have an inexpensive option for a steak or shrimp meal. You have to get the steak and shrimp meal for $25. I'm assuming this is one of their most popular dishes, you would think they would have a cheaper option.

Steak, chicken, seafood all available to be cooked on Hibachi Grill and also offer wide range of sushi. You can also eat item or private table or at the sushi bar if you don't want to do the Hibachi Grill part. highly recommend... the best of its kind of restaurants.

We also got told that even though we reserved a table of 6 that if a table of two came that they would ask us to make room for them to come to our table. First time to go there. It was an experience I will always remember. The only thing that I have to say is I don't like mushrooms and they didn't even ask me they just added them to the veggies. What if I had been allergic I wouldn't have been able to eat the veggies. Still I enjoyed the food and grill show eminencely.

Food was good and service was exceptional. Staff were super friendly and out hanachi chef was funny. To note for those who have been to steak houses. Each one is different with different offerings. This one gives you steamed rice and friend vegetables with your meal. I've been to some that give you fried rice, vegetables, and noodles with your meal and I've been to some that only give vegetables.
