Very nice restaurant. The service was great. I wasn't crazy about the dish I ordered but it was my first time there and I wasn't sure what to get. Some one in our party ordered the croissants and Im not a big bread eater but I have to say they were EXCELLENT! I will definitely go back.

Always a nice place to go. The seats in the bar area are too close together. I kept kicking or getting kicked by person across from me. That issue needs to be fixed. I take 1.5 stars away due to comfort. Service could have been better too.

I WAS IN TOWN VISITING WITH A FRIEND AND HE SUGGESTED WE GO TO THIS RESTAURANT WITH HIS FAMILY. THE SERVICE AND THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! I HAD A MEDIUM RIBEYE AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST RIBEYES I'VE EVER HAD. I ASKED OUR WAITRESS IF SHE WOULD TELL THE CHEF THAT MY STEAK WAS EXCELLENT, AND SHE DID. VERY NICE PLACE, VERY GOOD FOOD!

Absolutely amazing burgers paired with ice cold beer. Doesn't get much better than that! I have visited here twice now, both times for lunch. Both visits we were welcomed inside with a smile. Servers were polite and attentive. Everyone seemed in a very good mood, which must come easy when you are surrounded by deliciousness! The burgers are simply amazing. Cooked to perfection and still juicy. MUAH!!! Give this place a try, you wont be disappointed. I know i will be back.

I’m going to be honest, my friend and I went here because we wanted to try a new restaurant. Because of my failure to look up prices, we were not aware of the fact that this is a fancy restaurant. However, this has to be the best worst mistake of my life. The food was divine. I got a ruben that tasted like it was created in heaven and placed magnificently on my plate. My friend got chicken strips that were so tender, I could have slept on a bed of them. She also got a double order of fries instead of slaw. The amount of fries already on her plate deceived us into thinking she already had both orders. We were wrong. MORE FRIES CAME. THERE WERE SO MANY FRIES. IT WAS AMAZING.

Our table ordered 5 sirloin steaks and 4 was to be cooked medium and 1 medium well. Took about 45 minutes before our food was served yet all 5 of the steaks came out RARE. One person in our group was so grossed out by the raw steaks they cancelled a replacement steak. The other 4 were re-cooked and all 4 came out medium well this time. The steaks were ok but a steak is never as good when cooked twice. Everyting else was pretty good. I think the problem is their steaks are just too thick to get cooked properly. I'd much rather have a 1" to 1 1/2" thick steak that covers half of the plate as to have 3" thick steak that resembles the shape of a baked potato. Both might weigh 8 oz but the mere shape of the 3" thick steak makes it impossible to cook correctly. Unless you like it perfect on the outside and Raw on the inside or completely scorched on the outside and cooked to medium on the inside.

The food and service here is great...except the day that I ordered the prime rib. Maybe it was an off day for them but the prime rib tasted a little overcooked and wasn't the best that day. No worries guys, the food is still pretty good. The crescent rolls with the honey butter...omg...wonderful!

Amazing!!! From the outside of the building I expected a slightly better Applebees vibe, but this was amazing. Upon entering, the place smelled of delicious smoked steak. The old school brick walls, mahogany stained with red leather both made this feel like the most beautiful restaurant. The food was sublime. We had Larry as a server, and he was fantastic. The bread pudding was to die for. Overall, the best restaurant at this price point in town!

The five stars are for the food and inside decor. Top notch food and service, too. Excellent menu choices. Interior design is beautifully done with exposed old brick and wood, quite a pleasant surprise after seeing the somewhat delapidated exterior which had us almost pass it by. If it hadn't been for all the great food reviews we read first, we would not have stopped. Owners, maybe it's time to make the outside of the building reflect what a great place this is?! The peeling exterior paint and uninviting look is a real turn-off.

The atmosphere is upscale, (so don't wear jeans and a t-shirt or you'll feel uncomfortable) but the prices are mid-range...a great combination. I always enjoy the dark ambiance with individual table lighting, and the friendly servers who do their best to make the visit perfect, but still haven't found a meal, or cocktail that I love. I'll keep trying though.

I have gone to Charleston’s Restaurants for many years. In fact, it is one of my most favorite places to eat and especially get a salad. It is obvious to me that the lettuce is coming from a different vendor and it’s horrible. The last two salads were pieces of romaine lettuce stalks! I showed this to my waitress and she brought me another and I had itnto go and here I sit with the another “stalk salad”. This is unacceptable because your prices dictate quality food and service which is what I am accustomed to at Charleston’s. PLEASE CORRECT THIS. NOT GOOD!!! Oven Roasted Chicken has taken a downward turn as well. Come on Charleston’s!! I want the good foods back!

Was disappointed after my wife and I both ordered New York Strip medium well and they both came out medium rare at best which is to risky for a pregnant woman. Then they reheated both steaks resulting in two very dry chewy $30 steaks, if the chef can't tell the difference between medium rare and medium well then the customer should not be stuck with a reheated steak and should have received new correctly prepared food. On the bright my daughter ordered a cheeseburger and it was excellent.

First time here. Occasion was my fathers Birthday. The waitress was dry & never smiled, even though we continually smiled at her. She didn't ask if we'd been there before or if we wanted to discuss the day's kitchen specials. I had a bowl of gumbo & a croissant. Both were just okay. The winner was the keylime pie. Absolutely delicious. There again though, the waitress was just so off putting I will probably not be in a hurry to return.

The first two times I came here were execellent and close to the best meals I've ever had. The last time I came here was really disappointing. All three times I ordered he filet between medium-well and well done. I specifically asked how I should order the first time I went so that I would have a steak cooked that way. Most places undercook it for my liking unless I'm very specific. The third time I went the server seemed confused about how I was ordering, but I tried to emphasize clearly that I wanted it between medium well and well done. When the filet came out it was probably medium at best. I didn't see the server for a few minutes so I went to the front desk to tell them my steak wasnt cooked as I asked. About a minute later the manager comes back and, without apologizing, asks if I want a new steak or to reheat what I already had. I asked "won't that make the steak dry?", but he assured me it wouldnt so I agreed for him to take it back. The steak came back dry (unsurprisingly) and was still red in the center. They shouldn't have even asked if I wanted a new steak they should have just done it considering this was about a $30 meal. I saw a similar review from about a month ago saying they did the same thing to them. I'll still give this place another shot considering the first two meals were so good though. Before this experience I was thinking this was one of my favorite restaurnts.

Had a great time at Charleston's. We arrived during the dinner rush time, and although the parking lot seemed full we were seated immediately. Our server, Tina, was great. She was friendly and took great care of us. The atmosphere and decor are somewhat upscale yet relaxed. Plenty of great options to choose. Our group had the Chicken tortilla soup, chicken enchiladas, and chicken picata. And for dessert we split a slice of key lime pie. Everything was great

The fried catfish is wonderful. The apple pie cobbler dessert keeps me coming back. You should call first to make sure they have not ran out of the apple pie cobbler. DON'T ORDER THE RIBS. The ribs taste like they have been boiled. I was so disappointed with the ribs.

Each Charleston's menu is a little different to reflect local dishes (Indianapolis has the pork tenderloin sandwich). Wonderful wood smoke smell when you walk in although the dining area can be pretty dark. Hawaiian steak (seasonal item) - good, burgundy mushrooms - good, but together they do not complement each other at all and you get a bitter edge. The salad was fresh and crisp and the roll was amazing. (Seriously, get one of the rolls any way you can!) I went ahead and overindulged on the bread pudding but it was totally worth it.

I took my significant other to Charleston's for the 1st time for his birthday. We enjoyed the shrimp appetizer and we both ordered the pork chop dinner it was amazing. We really enjoyed it. Larry our waiter was awesome. From the young man who greeted us at the door to the young woman who brought us our appetizer to Adam the manager everyone was very kind and accommodating. It was a great birthday dinner. Thank you to the staff for a great experience.

Friendly staff, prompt service and our server took care not to rush our appetizer and salads together. The grilled pork chops were amazing but I wasn't sold on the mashed potatoes. A bit too much green onion throughout and heavy on horseradish? I think it was horseradish. Anyhow, dining room is quite dark with lights at individual tables. Get the croissant, it is so delicious. I really liked the mood lighting and service from staff, so I would come back but not sure I would go for the same entree again.

Bailey took good care of us and was very patient with my company in answering A LOT of questions. I'm a server of 18 years and it's hard to turn that off when I go out to eat, and I critique everything in my head. Great job everybody! I will be back!

Friendly staff, Croisents are excellent. Food is average especially for the price. Do not get the Scampi, WAY too much lemon. Why is there even lemon in Scampi? They did remove it from the bill and by response of the hostess this seems to be a common issue.

Had a Christmas party there. Its was reserved ahead of time. Management asked if we could be done by 4 because the next party was arriving. Our party was at 2pm and seated at 230pm. They split our party up with a big table and then booths. We asked to sit together. After seating at approximately 245pm, we ordered. Food began to arrive at 320pm only for the cook to come out to tell my pregnant coworker that her dish was unavailable. She had to wait while eating bread and tasting others food. Ended up taking our desert to go. The party that we were asked to leave for never arrived. All in all it was a terrible experience. My first and my last. Every business has it's bad days but as my marketing coordinator stated, " they should have moved their desk and cars to make sure their customers had enough room to sit!" Customer service was not a priority. If it hadn't been pre planned with lots of preparations, on our end, we would have taken our money elsewhere. Dear Charleston's, our party was only for 14 people and we felt as if we were intruding. Not a good feeling. Learning experience for you guys and this is the point of the review. To know what your customers are thinking and to help aid in making the next ones happier. Good luck.

Food was delicious, portions were ample, drinks were very generous, and the service was excellent. The only negative is the acoustics in the restaurant are terrible. There was a party of 12 near us they were enjoying themselves but as a result our party of six couldn't hear each other so we couldn't converse. Perhaps they could make a private room with a door for large gatherings.

Best Christmas Eve dinner I’ve made on the road EVER. 9 hours left on our road trip and all places were closed, except for this one. The service was PHENOMENAL AND OUTSTANDING! We had a beautiful waitress that knew what was good also what was in the food, the food was hot and delicious (We’re a pork free and gluten free family). An inmate setting that was accepting of a cranky 7-month old baby. Most places aren’t like this at all, outstanding restaurant

It's actually quite a decent restaurant with a very reasonable selection of very well prepared for and great service. The bison burger I had for lunch was perfectly cooked to my taste. The Dynamite Shrimp was flavorful and the Asian slaw was fresh. All the sides, vegetable medley, baked potato we're fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Loved the ambience! Candles with lot of brick and wood decor makes for a romantic setting. Very, very attentive staff. I had the chicken club salad with grilled chicken.
