You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is very positive, and it is based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the evaluation is very credible. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to put reviews when they are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Italian restaurant.
Awesome and authentic. Very cool setting,.. modern but old school. Food and staff were excellent and all to Sinatra playing in the background . Can't wait to go back
Great food, good wine selection, moderate pricing. The chef recommended Stuffed Portabello appetizer was the highlight of the meal, but the main course Lobster Linguini was a close second. The cheese plate and calamari were tasty, and the house Cab was decent. Recommended getting one of the chef specials when possible.
Great food with great service.!!
Wonderful atmosphere beautiful place unfortunately and rules that come out like bricks
Always great service, great atmosphere, and the food is phenomenal.
Capri is the real thing! Authentic Italian food all made from scratch from the table bread to the tiramisu. If you think olive garden is real italian, you may want to stick with that. To experience real italian, you have to try this place! Excellent food and service by the real deal!
The Calamari was outstanding, as was the pasta and the fish of the day which happened to be Red Snapper. The eggplant parmesan was also delectable. The bread was baked fresh and was just what we needed to whet our appetite. Probably the nicest Italian restaurant I've dined at. Service was also phenomenal.
Absolutely love this place! It has a warm, romantic environment and you can request to have their fire place lit. The staff is very accommodating and the food is top quality.
Good food...nice ambience
Not worth the money. I am not sure what happened to this place. Adele Ciao must have left. The marinated artichokes were good (probably out of a can from Italy). The bell pepper filled with ground beef was good. The fettuccine del golfo (seafood) were grossly overcooked not al dente. The only seafood I could find in them were shrimps. The cannoli (actually, only one, thus: cannolo) was not a Sicilian cannolo. It was more like an eclair and wasn't filled with ricotta filling. Big disappointment. I am Italian born and grown in Napoli and I know what's good Italian food (as it was when Adele Ciao was their manager/executive chef). Too bad.
I go to a Notre Dame football game once per year and I always make Capri a part of the fun for the weekend. The food is delicious and the staff are pleasant and friendly. I enjoy the hospitality and the special touches! Thank-you Pasquale.
Capri is a lovely restaurant with an authentic Italian atmosphere and fantastic food and service.
A perfect place for a fantastic dinner! The ambience is perfectly old-fashioned in a positive sense. We had quiet background music [classical jazz, swing, and popular classics] - not loud, but pleasing to the ears. The food was excellent - well prepared and arranged so it not only pleased the palate but the eyes, too. The choices are quite a few, as there was not only the regular menu but 4 specials for the entrée plus 3 for the appatizer. The service was attentive but not intrusive. I was left time enough for my choices and in between the courses. The latter is remarkable as it way too often does not happen in restaurants here in the US. The waiter was very friendly. To sum it up: I can highly recommend this place.
Wonderful food, atmosphere, drinks, and service. One of the best restaurants around South Bend.
Excellent food and service. No reservations required.
Amazing authentic food and great atmosphere! Classy place as well.
In from out of state for graduation dinner. 16 of us and food, service and atmosphere was excellent. If I lived here I would be a regular!
Just had our bridal shower there.... Best experience ever. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing. Dessert was the best.
Best Italian food in Granger! Love coming here. The atmosphere is perfect and the entire staff is wonderful. You can tell they put love into their food. Always a good experience! Highly recommend for special occasions!
First time there and I am from Chicago and have eaten some of the best Italian restaurants you can visit,I have to say the Capri is right up there with any of them, service was first rate and the food was first rate my hat is off for the entire staff.
Probably the best Italian in the area. Pasta is fresh. Bread is hot when served a limited traditional menu. Seasoning and sauces are not overwhelming. Service was good. Drinks and follow ups were timely. Decor was open and classy. Budget 30 a plate.
Great atmosphere and service only ok food
This is an absolutely amazing authentic Italian restaurant. I loved it and I would recommend anyone who is looking for fantastic authentic Italian food to definitely go here. I can't recommend this place enough, the staff here is absolutely …
First time visiting here. I had the lamb shank, soaked for over four hours in red wine. It was out of this world! Give this place a chance, it's certainly worth the price. I'll definitely be back to visit.
Excellent! Top marks in all categories!
This restaurant was simply amazing. The ambience was above expectations. The first bite to the last was full of flavor, the employees were attentive and helpful. I cannot wait to eat here next time I am in town. I was indeed pleasantly surprised with the entire dining experience tonight.
The food here never disappoints. Great service and atmosphere
Fantastic atmosphere and service, wine selection is amazing and food was delicious. All in all a wonderful experience.
Food was good and the waiter was great.
Great Italian food in a beautiful setting. Wonderful service. Good wine list, although not cheap. The homemade salsiccia, the pastas and the veal dishes were all excellent. The desert pastries, cannoli and puff pastries were terrific!
My niece set up a luncheon for after a funeral service which was yesterday September 19, 2018. The waitress/server was unbelievably rude as was the waiter/server. It was if we were imposing on them and neither could offer a smile when smiled too. I know this because I tried to smile at each and really just got a mean look back. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I'm not sure what else they had pressing as I didn't see anyone else in there. Unfortunately, the food was good and the reason I say unfortunately is because the service/attitude was so poor I don't see myself or family returning there to dine. It was a tremendous turn off after a funeral of our family member. Only after she was paid and saw her tip she was kind enough to provide an unexpected dessert to a family member whose birthday it was. Which made us feel she was acting that way thru the entire luncheon because she didn't think she would be compensated for her "apparant" trouble of serving us. Neither my husband nor I will return.
Atmosphere was incredible, food was okay
If you want to talk about Italiano this is the place
The service is outstanding and the food here is fresh. The lunch menu is really a light dinner menu, but the prices are unbelievably fair for such high quality. If you like homemade pasta, bread, and high quality food, you cannot go wrong. We will certainly be back. Great menu, see you next time.
In-house made pasta, great service, and a great atmosphere.
Love the food, love the location, love the staff and the owner. If you plan to go there, ask for the specials and if you like seafood, go for the seafood. Excellent!
Loved it. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and the staff is very eager to please. I am a sucker from homemade pasta and Capri delivered spaghetti and a very flavorful veal red sauce. My wife ordered gnocchi (which I typically …
A good Italian restaurant but a bit overpriced. We had two appetizers, a glass of wine, and split a dessert. Price: $64.00. Otherwise, beautiful decor and good service.
If you are looking for a legit Italian cuisine like me and my friends, then this is the right and exact place to go, beginning with the personalized attention (Arturo the Owner) from the extremely elegant entrance, following with the refined ambient with a menu hand maded from scratch with legit Italian chef wich is always under Arturos (International italian chef) supervision, extensive wine menu (Rosso, Bianco, Rose, etc) , list of dessert that make you enjoy the most refined taste and flavors , and not forget to ask for a famous "Limoncello" served very chilly, all this in a very smoth and nice atmosphere, Im always will remember my visit and I will return for sure at Capri south bend without any doubts, thanks for let me enjoy a very nice time. Giuseppe Moca,
In town for the ND game. Everything was 1st rate. Food was excellent (I had veal, the Mrs. had bowtie pasta with salmon & vegetable barley soup). Good wine list (house merlot). The lemon cake my wife loved. Tom was our top shelf waiter and had great suggestions and was very helpful. Atmosphere nice, black and white photos of old Hollywood. Can't say enough good things. Price $$ - $$$ and worth every penny.
We love it!!
So my wife and I have been going here a few times a year for quite a few years. We'd typically go after church on Sunday's. We were always thinking it was a front for some nefarious characters because we were practically the only ones in the place each time we went. Well we met the owner during this visit and described that to him. He then told me that they are not open for lunch on Sundays (they are open for lunch during the week) and they just thought that since someone was willing to come in, why turn them away. They were there anyway so why not serve us. Wow, great customer service is what I have to say to that! Food was delish. Caprese salad is always spot on. I had the Pollo con Salsicca which was delish and my wife had the Scalloppina di Vitello Pizziola which she very much enjoyed as well. The service was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable, but not overbearing at all. The ambiance at Capri is wonderful. They have a huge fireplace and it is beautiful inside. It's a big room and it can get chilly so if you want heat, get a table near the fireplace. All in all, we enjoy dining here very much.
Excellent food, no complaints whatsoever. The meat/mushroom ravioli was awesome and the dirty lips for dessert was by far one of the best I’ve had in awhile.
The food and the service at Capri is simply outstanding. Family-owned authentic Italian and fantastic! We will be back many many times as this is one of our favorite dining spots!
What a great place for lunch! I can't believe I haven't been here before. I will most certainly be back for dinner too. A lovely atmosphere and VERY reasonable prices!
Great meal. Everyone in our party enjoyed what they had@
Great food in a beautiful setting. Very attentive service.
Great atmosphere. Great food. We had a baby shower for our daughter. Everything was perfect.
Beautiful building. Excellent service. Delicious food.
Awesome food, great atmosphere, super wait staff.
The food is amazing. Old world charm too.
Outstanding food, wine, and service. Well worth a trip out of the way if you're anywhere in the area!
Unfortunately they were a little short on help the day we were there but the food was delicious.
Amazing restaurant. The owner is very involved and wants nothing but the best experience for his customers. I’ve had Italian food all over the North Eastern US and this was honestly the best Italian meal I have ever had. Service was outstanding.
Excellent Italian restaurant. Authentic food and people! The building is amazing and feels like home! It's a hidden gem! Worth the find!
Truly authentic Italian food! Beautiful atmosphere and large enough for group events. Full bar with lots of wine selections. Great selection of traditional Italian dishes! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this restaurant!
I always liked the decorations here (the reason for the second star) but the food and service is severely lacking. The bread is almost always burnt, and the gnocchi ranges from paste to hard (sometimes in the same serving). They have some good drinks, but if you ask about anything, they'll tell you the "bartender is on vacation," and they won't have any idea how to help you. Tonight I asked the server about two dishes, but didn't order either of them. Later, I said I'd like to place my order, and she apparently had chosen one of the two for me, and already sent it to the kitchen. It allegedly had a white wine sauce, but my wife's dish did as well, and the sauces were not at all alike. I do not recommend this place, as it is seemingly getting worse by the day: they are adding more and more freezer to fryer components to each dish, and the service is worse every time I'm in there. There are much better options in the area.
Food and atmosphere are great. Service is also great.
