I have been to Bub's Burgers in Zionsville multiple times, and have had a great experience every time. The staff is always friendly. They have highchairs and a kids menu. The burgers have always been good, along with the fries and onion rings!

One of my favorite burger places. I've loved every burger I've gotten so far. Service has been very nice every time I've been here. Fun, cozy atmosphere to come with family and friends. This isn't really a big deal to me, but I finished the Big Ugly and got my picture taken, and I'm pretty sure they never put it on the wall. They said their printer wasn't working and they weren't sure if they would be able to get it up. Not a big deal, and I still love this place, but perhaps worth mentioning.

Had the special of the day which was as Steak, egg, and bacon burger. They let you choose how to cook it and what size to make the pattie. It was amazing. Cooked medium as requested with a egg over easy on top with tasty crispy bacon. The fried were served nice and hot with a very good seasoning on them.

Great food and smiling staff, even during rush time. If you or your dining companion have a hearing impairment, you may want to ask for a table away from the kitchen or ordering area... And turn the hearing aids all the way up. My Step-dad had such a hard time hearing w/2 aids that he just gave up and read lips. Made conversing difficult.

Great place to grab a burger and brew. Premium burger or elk, sized small to huge. Everything they do, they do well. Chili is awesome too. One person in our party had the strawberry milkshake, she said it was awesome. It was a little chilly when we visited, so they weren't using the deck. Good beer selection.

1st time visit, this was well worth it. Staff was friendly and quick, I had an elk burger, it was delicious. All weights are after cooking, a half pound is actually a half pound on your table. If you want a great burger you really can't go wrong here. Did I mention the very best waffle fries I have ever had? Get them.loaded you won't be upset.

Food was good, only thing is there were too many flies and kept landing in our food. I felt I was constantly waving my hand so the flies would go away therefore, I did not get to enjoy eating. Finally just got it to go home.

One of the best burgers I have ever eaten! Cooked to order and a nice flavor. I recommend the big ugly challenge for those who think they can conquer it. Nice flavor to the onion rings and a nice afterburn to the creole sauce.

Well seasoned burgers! Give the Elk a try, and if you're feeling brave, try to finish the Big Ugly! They cook it down from 22 oz to a pound. Finish it and get your photo on the wall.

We frequent bubs quite a bit, and it's pretty consistent food and service wise. The menu is american classics with a bit of bubs twist. I highly recommend the mallow sauce with sweet potatoe waffle fries. They also offer elk burgers which is nice for the people who like variety. Its mostly teenage servers which is great, but expect hiccups in service because of this. We have never had anyone rude or complacent, just inexperienced is all. It's also hard to order beer when they're busy because of the age of servers. It takes awhile for managers to serve all the different drink orders. Overall one of our go to places for lunch and dinner.

I really enjoy this place. The burgers are on point. The sides are great. The milkshakes are great. I would like to get here more often but it can get a bit pricey since all the items are a la carte. Good eating!

Boys had the 22oz and loved it. I had the portabella sandwich which was delicious! Service (lady with the blue streaks in her hair, sorry I forgot her name) was wonderful, highly recommend Bub's!

Great burgers. Best I have ever had, actually. Very friendly waiters and staff. Definitely would recommend. Also, you can get your picture on their walls by eating a 1 lb. burger. They are 1 lb. after cooking, so, very good, and also their waffle fries and ice cream are very good.

I love that they have gluten free options!!! Their burger are probably the best restuarant burger that I have ever had. They are always willing to check the ingredients in a used and spices if you have an allergy, which is really nice.... also the Chili is delicious:)

Make sure you get their elk burger at least once; they are seasoned to perfection and taste fantastic. Their shakes and sweet potato fries are also worth a try. It's a bit expensive but if you can go for a company lunch it's a great place to build some good team bonding experiences.

I really enjoy Bubs. This particular bubs has a really nice patio area. The burgers are great and their menu is simple. I recommend the half pound burger if you're a grown man or an athlete but otherwise the .25 lb would probably suffice.

The food was good, and the service was on point. The chili was applied too generously on my hotdogs. By the time I got to my second hotdog, the bun had already fell apart, and I did not take my time eating the first hotdog for that reason. Definitely need to step up their bun game aswell. The flies that continued to harass my wife and my friends. It definitely impacted my appetite.

Burger was great. Evenly seasoned throughout despite being 22 oz. Sweet potato fries with the mallow is better than the regular fries. Get the bear claw ice cream for dessert. You won't be disappointed.

Great place for burgers and other family oriented food. I get my burger cooked medium term so it's juicy. The beef is good quality with less fat than normal burger places so if you order it well done I imagine it will be very dry. Great ice cream and milkshakes add well.

I’ve heard greats things about Bub’s from friends and finally got the chance to try. They’re known for their Big Ugly burger, you get a picture on the wall if you finish it, which is really cool! However, I just stuck with a normal sized hamburger and some waffle fries. Really good thick and juicy burger patty. The waffle fries were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle! Best I’ve ever had. The ice cream was alright, too! I got the mint chocolate chip. Was refreshing on a hot day! Everything was very fairly priced- not too expensive. Highly recommend Bub’s as a casual, family friendly spot!

Don’t bother trying to take your dog here to sit out on their nice patio! We came for lunch today and were seated outside with our dog. The host and the kind waiter saw our dog with us and didn’t say a word. We ordered drinks. And ordered our food. We’d been there about 20 minutes when a manager came out to tell us they don’t allow dogs. She suggested we tie our dog to the outside of their fence with us on the other side on patio. This would have been far more disruptive than our dog calmly laying next to our table as she was doing. There’s no sign posted, that we saw, that dogs aren’t allowed. Perhaps a visible sign, a more informed staff, or changing your rule would be a good idea. We left.

We read the reviews to see if it's worth it. Trust me IT'S WORTH IT! My wife and I came here by chance and it's now one of our favorite places to come for a burger. The only thing I think they could improve on is a different bun. Petty for a burger place.. yes but if I could think of a perfect burger, it wouldn't have that bun. Maybe try a brioche or a potato bread bun. Even if you had to raise the price a little bit, I'd still be coming back. It gets all 5 stars because everything about the place was great! Friendly staff, good wait time, great ice cream, excellent burger. I wish I would have taken a picture for you guys but if you go in and get a burger or ice cream yourself, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Only thing that kept it from a 5, was waffle fries were kinda not hot and my apple pie was not warmed up, a simple error. But elk burger is delicious and worth the price for the uniqueness of it. Sides and burger toppings are excellent.

Service was VERY slow (ordering and waitress)and when you have two kids under five that doesn't work. Kids wouldn't eat bc everything was so salty it made me sick! I hope the ice cream was good bc the other food wasn't. We didn't stay to see and yeah, not going back.

Had the Elk burger with chili. The best burger I have ever had alongside the best chili I have ever had. Would recommend anyone visiting Indy to check it out. (Did not eat the Big Ugly)
