Visited there just recently and had great service. Server was great with helping us narrow down what we wanted. The menu is pretty big and it all sounds great. He was great with our kids and very patient when they were ordering for themselves. Food came out quick and everything tasted great. Besides the food being good and our server being great, the host was amazing with one of my sons. He wanted to hang his picture on the wall and they made such a 'big' spectacle of it he was BEAMING when we left. So thanks McKenzie River Pizza for not only having great food, but staffing wonderful people. We will be back soon!

Stopped in for quick bite, the service was fast and the food was great will definitely come back. We got artichoke dip the lodgepoles and chorizo meatball skillet and everything was very very good. The staff was awesome. They were friendly ans hard working made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this place to anybody. Shout out to the boss lady shelly you are the best.

Went here for mother's day and it was excellent. I have been to other locations but this was my first time at this one. The service and the food were both great! The menu features a wide variety of items, but lacks very many healthier items. I recommend both their pizza and the meatloaf. You won't regret ordering either one.

Really good quality pizza that's a little different than your everyday pizza options. We really like the thin crispy crust option as it tastes great without the carb bloated feeling so you feel good when you're done.

My family loves this little gem of a restaurant! We love the ski lodge feel, it's will done. It kids always want to see the "Bear with da fish" carving in the entry breezeway and of course get their picture take with him. The pizzas are great, but my fave is the tenderloin sandwich - breaded or grilled! The breaded version had a mild spice to the crust. Great family restaurant and kids eat feel on Tuesdays. Last night they had a "balloon guy" for the kids

Pizza was great. We ordered half and half. One half flathead and the other BBQ chicken. We were very impressed. I really liked the BBQ chicken pizza. The crust was good as well. It wasn't too thick or too thin. Just right. Pizza came out in good time but our waitress didn't. I'm still waiting for a refill on my water

Pizzas are good. Service is mediocre. We stood at the hostess desk for several minutes before anyone even said anything to us. We were totally ignored by 3 staff who just looked at us. They could have at least said, "someone will be with you soon". This was my third visit and it's been the same each time. Perhaps some customer service training.

Loved the French Onion Soup. Also had the Shrimp and Grits. It's was too spicy for my taste and nit cheesy ebough. The atmosphere was great with friends and never felt rushed to leave.

This company is founded in Montana- so you’ll get some mountain themes tied into a modern atmosphere. Had the street tacos, which were delicious. Decent beer menu, and bar selection. Outdoor seating is a plus.

If I was rating on just food, it would be 4 star. If I was rating on just service it would be a 2 star. It was not busy when we arrived. Our server was not attentive. She went to tables around us but was not even looking our way to see if we needed anything. I had to literally shout out her name to get attention so we could get water. We were there for over an hour, so do not expect speedy service.

4 stars for the type of food. Pub food, pizza, salads & many items you don't usually see in a pub. Pizza dough is very fresh. No complaints about the food at all. Staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is laid back and comfortable.

The prospector burger was delicious. The fries were really good. The spinach artichoke dip could use more spinach and artichoke. The fruit was very fresh and delicious. The service was slightly better than average. My only real complaint is that it was a little pricey for some burgers and fries. It could've been a little cheaper, but I guess it's not Applebees either.

This place is great! The atmosphere is fun and classy but laidback. It’s apparently a franchise (this is the only location in Indiana and my wife and I are new to Castleton and hadn’t seen one before) but it has a very family owned feel to it. Big fan of the California Flatbread; it’s enough to whet your appetite but still small enough that you have room for your meal. We had the pesto artichoke dip on our first trip and while it’s delicious, I had only had room left for half of my burger, and I’m usually a big eater. Definitely good food, the servers are decent, and the prices are actually surprisingly affordable. It’s becoming my go to dinner place!

We've been here several times. We really like the food, but the servers leave quite a bit to be desired. You have to be very patient with them. They disappear for long lengths even when they aren't busy. We always think the food has been exceptionally good so we put up with it. If tree service was better it would be a 5 star rating.

The team tonight did not disappoint! The kitchen was on point and Megan our server was very hospitable, friendly and fun! I crave the Thai Pie and the ingredients were so fresh that my pizza made me swoon. My husband always gets the Good Ol Boy and loves it. We will keep coming back! Try the ranch dressing with your pizza crust ... it's herby, tangy, and irresistible!

This place is amazing! Great service follows to die for pizza and good sandwiches. The pizza really is the star here though along with great on tap selections. I got the humble pie with some added veggies and before I got the pulled pork which had such good homemade BBQ sauce!! If you pick one place on 82st to eat, it is here!

This is one of my favorite restaurants didn't know there was one on this side of town went to the other one in Carmel all the time and they closed it down and then my friend just told me that they had one here so go laying back there was such a pleasure Isle of Mackenzie Rivers food all of it there pizza I love their chicken quesadillas I love their sliders I just love the atmosphere I love the outside seating it's a great place to eat is reasonable nice people one of my favorites recommend this to everyone

Mack lovin dessert is great. Our favorite thing on the menu is the barbecue chicken pizza with added pineapple (we're pineapple on pizza people). Always great service, and they do great with our kids (plus they give little cups of goldfish to the kids right when they sit down which keeps them happy)

We are here the other nite. My fiancé ordered the apple chicken bbq flatbread. I had the wings and Mac and cheese bites. The food was good and as ordered. To top it off we always get friendly wait staff. Management goes out of their way to make sure you have a good meal. We’ll be back.

What I like the most about this pizzeria is not just their delicious pizza, the french fries, the garlic bread, and other side dishes. The food, especially the pizza, is great! The staff is very friendly and prompt. My friends and I recently came to celebrate a birthday and brought an ice cream cake. They not only put it in the freezer for us while we ate our meal but when we asked for it, they brought out the ice cream cake on a platter with a knife and individual plates and silverware. My friends and I were blown away at how accommodating they were. We enjoy going to Mackenzie River and look forward to more visits!

Nothing special but pretty good options for pizza. They also have way too many other options too. So not just for pizza lovers. However, their thai peanut pizza is very good! This last time I ordered the simple beet salad. The beets were not braised, the arugula was stringy and sad looking, the walnuts were not candied and the dressing was quite thick. Otherwise, pretty good drinks and service. They could have better appetizers in my opinion.

Pizza was fantastic! Really flavorful and the exact kind of texture that a pizza should have! Also the service was excellent, my wife asked for gluten free tacos and the manager came out to check whether she had a serious allergy or if it were a preference because some ingredients had some trace gluten. Consistently one of our favorites. Great with kids, but a great bar area to just kick back and relax. They also have a good amount of outside seating for the good weather. The pizzas are delicious, the flat-breads are awesome, and the salads are fresh. Anything with their salsa on it is super spicy. Fresh entrees take longer but are still delicious.

The Smoky Q pizza is fantastic. I loved the beer, but I had one too many, and can't remember what it was called. It was the $2 draft beer of the day. Our server (Emily I believe), was super attentive and checked on us repeatedly.

Strip mall restaurant with a variety of salads, sandwiches and pizza with a few large plate meals. The restaurant has outside seating albeit next to a small drainage stream. The inside decor has a cabin theme. Food is generally decent. Service can be spotty at times.

This was our first visit and we were quite pleased. Not at all what we expected as far as the menu ... the wings were amazing! And the beer is cold. Poor service. The waitress shouldn't be working if she doesn't want to do her job! Right after she told us they didn't have a sauce for the fish, we asked if we could change it. She said she would go ask and she never came back. The fish was dry and too crispy, need to even out the spices on the pizza and definitely need to figure out why their tea water was so foggy! First time there and definitely the last time!
