Excellent burger. I highly recommend The PB&J burger. The peanut butter and maple syrup and a surprising complement to the standard bacon cheese burger. My fries were a little underdone, but the rest of the table had perfect fries so I think my fries were just an exception to the normal standard of great food. I will definitely be back to try another burger soon.

Arrived at 1:30 on a Saturday. Place was not busy, seated quickly, ordered drinks right away. Took forever for waitress to come back to take our order for the emptiness of the place. Ordered apps which were good but overpriced in my opinion. The food was all very hot when delivered to our table by other servers than ours. We all (5) ordered something different and we all were happy with our food. Burgers are large and well cooked. Overall, food was delicious and hot so would go back because of this but the wait staff needs some major improvements.

OK, so the BBQ pulled pork Mac and cheese... It's worth fighting for (I know it sounds like an odd compliment, but it invokes a passion for which I was not fully prepared). The crushed bacon was a pleasant addition. I personally could have used more cheese, but it was perfect just the way it was. Try it. I dare you.

Was excited to try this place. Sat at a table for 20 minutes without anyone coming to take any kind of order. Then a waitress stopped, asked if we’d been helped, after we said no, instead of offering to get us drinks and then go see what was going on she just said ok I’ll go figure out what happened. We waited about 2 more minutes and then left. Pretty bummed.

Second time eating here as I stop by when I'm in Indy occasionally, and definitely won't be the last. The wait staff was speedy and very attentive, the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Now the food. I am not a huge burger fan. They're okay, but I rarely go out of my way to have one. That is, unless I'm at such a place as Between the Bun. The burgers here are absolutely PHENOMENAL. I had the Mack Daddy Burger, topped with Mac n cheese, bacon, and a ranch drizzle. I couldn't stop myself from wolfing it down, satisfied with every bite. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. Had I any more room in my happily full stomach, I'd have asked for more for sure! My girlfriend and I had a GREAT time at Between the Bun, and we will definitely be back next time we are in town. Thanks for great food and a good time!

This place was called something else before; however, I cannot remember the name. Service could have been a little better. Our drinks sat empty for a few minutes but were promptly refilled. We were told that our food would be a little behind because there was a '15 top' in front of us. Do not give a dumb reason like that. Just simply say something like 'It will be a little longer than normal and we appreciate your patience.' The burgers were good. We will be going back eventually.

We ate a late lunch here, they were pretty busy when we arrived but it died down shortly after we were seated. The food was really good. Even our kiddo kept telling everyone that the food was “so good, and it smells good, too!” and they brought his out early- which is a god send whenever you have small kids! I had the pickle your fancy burger. Look how amazing that looks. And it was very good! Only giving a 4 start because we waited a while for drink refills. Finally just asked for drinks to go because we were already done.. But everything else was great.

We come here often and typically try something new Everytime. So far we haven't had anything we didn't like. The burgers are really good as they have alot of specialty burgers to choose from. Definitely in my top 2 for burger joints, just behind 5 Guys.

Really good burgers BUT THEY ARE SLOW! we came in right at lunch and the whole time we was there there was maybe 3 other tables. Got our drinks fine but after being there 20mins the waitress said she just put our order in. Maybe it was just our waitress as a group of men came in who had a different one recieved there food in a descent time manner.

Everything was very well done. The burgers were well done, the tater tots were cooked thoroughly. So if you like well cooked food it's fine. The bacon was good as it was cook, however everything else was super well done. And it was expensive for what you get.

A downtown Greenwood great moves north. They moved into the Southport Road location of Teddy's Burger Joint, so tons more room, outdoor seating, and beer taps. Same good food as the original location, hopefully the traffic hell that is SR37 and Southport Rd isn't too much for their customers.

Food was decent. Tots were good. Charged $.75 for ranch which I understand. Wish it would have stayed counter order and then sit down. Took about 15 just to get drinks and orders in. Otherwise good.

These are by far the best burgers known to mankind. The service is always fast and friendly. I love that they don’t sacrifice quality for kitchen speed. I have read some of the negative reviews and I don’t know what restaurant they were at but it wasn’t Between the Bun... or they weren’t of sound mind. If you don’t eat here, you’ve not really lived.

So happy this place seems to be thriving since they moved from old town Greenwood. Burgers & Dawgs are unique and delicious, price was good and service was what you'd expect. Only downside was live music on the patio was SO LOUD in the restaurant we couldn't have conversation at the table. Hopefully the volume isn't turned up to 11 next time.

Great food and atmosphere. We came on a Saturday evening. It was fairly busy but we were seated right away and didn't have to wait long at all for our meal. Burgers were great and very reasonably priced. They have a nice outdoor seating area and the band they had that night was great! Everybody was really nice and our server, Jessica, was wonderful! I love everything about this place including its location.

I’ve been to BTB probably near 100 times since they opened (I lost count long ago) and not once have I had a bad meal or experience. My favorite burger is It’s Nacho Burger but some other standouts are the Crunch Burger and the Mac Daddy Burger. Honestly, I think I’ve tried every burger on the menu at least twice. Other burgers from memory are the Hellfire burger and the Liberty Bell burger. I’m also a fan of the Bacon Me Crazy BLT. Don’t even get me started on the Spitfire Chili. Tremendous! Seriously, folks, try out Between the Bun. The new location is great. Support local business. #EatLocal PS. The pork tenderloin should be a menu mainstay.

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from Bloomington. Ashley T was great. Helpful and very nice. Our burgers were cooked the way we asked for them. Toppings were flavorful and fun. Crunch Burger and Shroom are Swiss both winners. Loved the seasoned fried and mac and cheese as well. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!

Average at best. Frozen, buy at Kroger like fries with way way too much seasoning, $1.00 charge for a small side of ranch, overcooked and dry burger, etc. Little things matter. Homemade fries, free condiments, attention to detail when it comes to preparation would make for an amazing place. Their unique burgers toppings are the only thing that makes this place somewhat worth visiting...

Food was amazing! I got the buffalo mac and cheese (buffalo sauce was Frank's heat level but better tasting), and fiance got the pulled pork hot dog. Both were great. Service was a bit slow, but I'd rather wait for good food than get okay food fast. Great atmosphere. Servers were all very nice and quick with refills. Only complaint would be that the water in the bathroom was ice cold, even after running on hot for a while.

Good not great. Definitely pricey at $30 for 2 burgers and an order of fried pickles. Took roughly 20 minutes to get our meal with only 4 other tables occupied. Was expecting a nice,big, juicy burger but instead got a big burger nonetheless, but definitely not juicy. Really dry and flavorless unfortunately. I definitely expected more with all the awards BTB has won. If I were a betting man, I would say the awards came from the crazy toppings they have to offer, not from an all around great, juicy, flavorful burger.

Food was good. The waitress didnt bring it all out at the same time so we were waiting until the last plate showed up to eat. It was about 6:00 so we sat inside to avoid the bugs. Had my toddler with me. They opened the garage door and all of the gnats and mosquito's from outside started flying in and around our food. Live band started playing outside so it became extra loud inside. It wasn't a comforting scenario to my toddler since we were just going for a family meal. Had I known I probably wouldnt have gone. Makes me wonder that when the door shuts for the evening if all the bugs are then trapped inside the restaurant. Sorry to be so negative but it really wasnt a good overall experience

First time visit.With only a half full dining area, we ended up walking out after waiting for 45 minutes for an order of two hot dogs. After the first 20 minutes, the waitress told us our food would come out soon, as they were prioritizing a large party before us. After another 20-25 minutes we decided to leave after having only water. Although other reviews explain that these are not your typical hot dogs, and the menu even says they won't sacrifice quality for speed, 45 minutes is still an unacceptable wait, especially when I can get "interesting" hot dogs in 5 minutes from competition like DJ's.

Been there many times and always get what I ask for done the way I like it. Service has been great and the atmosphere always enjoyable. The new place is very modern and plenty of room even if packed to the gills. The food never disappoints and my kids love it as well. The only downside is it's not as close as it once was but we still make the extra 10min drive for the best burgers around...

The food took forever to be prepared almost an hour her and hardly anybody was there when we showed up. My burger was overdone and the bacon on my burger was way overdone. All the cheese fries with bacon we're good the bottom of the container they were in was full of grease. Not a happy customer. I probably won't be back. Also there were no gluten-free options for my wife.

The food was delicious!! Service was a bit slow but it was well worth the wait. Same awesome menu with a wide variety of specialized hamburgers that they had at their previous location in Old Town Greenwood. They also have a lot of great appetizers to choose from while you wait on your burger to be slow cooked to perfection!! If you like hamburgers and hotdogs then this is the best place around!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Delicious food and wonderful service with friendly staff! They had some arcade games for our kids (they do take quarters) and plenty of beer on draft. The only thing I would advise is to get some shades for the large windows. We went in the evening and in was much hotter in the building than outside, and the sun was on us all dinner. Otherwise, perfect spot for dinner!

This restaurant was at an old house that smelled like grandma's attic when I tried it, they have since moved so I'm guessing it is a different experience now. No sticky table or bits of old dried food stuck to the forks in the new place, I'm sure. The food was fine, nothing impressive enough to get me to return to the prior locale, but maybe I will stop in and give it another chance sometime at the new site.

Just like almost other reviews, burger over cooked. I ordered medium and got medium well-well. BUT, for a $7 burger (the most simple plain burger) I can’t complain. It wasn’t a hockey puck so I was good. Fries were delish too (I get no seasoning). Tried the Root Beer and it was fantastic. Sorry folks, no free refills as it comes in a bottle but probably the best I’ve had.

Between the Bun is my favorite restaurant ever and I have eaten there over 500 times (at both locations) since it opened 6 years ago. The burgers are delicious and hand-pattied and marinated. They have so many excellent flavors and taste combinations also. The seasonings and sauces in everything are outstanding. The fries are some of the best out there, and the onion rings are so good. I love the appetizers also, especially the Great Balls of Fire. I love the hot dogs as well. The service is always the best around and the staff really have become good friends. The negative reviews you see here and elsewhere are almost exclusively of the domain of morons and people who have nothing better to do than gripe about something because their lives are so miserable otherwise. When you go, be patient, order your burgers medium, and be adventuresome with the tastes, and you won't regret it.

I have been enjoying this unique menu for the last couple of years . I love the different selections of hamburgers and hot dogs the “crabby” owner comes up with. Some will make u puzzled until you actually try it. I would highly recommend taking a bottle of his homemade seasoning home. Scott May not be the friendliest at times but one thing is for sure, he knows how to make one hell of a sandwich and wrap.

So many unique burgers to chhose from. Disappointed that sauce doesnt come with fries, onion rings or tater tot order. I know they're house made...but ordering food ahould include something besides ketchup. Talk about nickle and diming customers. :/ I'm bringing my own sauce next time! Cant believe i have to.

Friendly greeting at the door. Drink delivered quickly. Server gave me plenty of time to read the menu since it was my first visit. I ordered a side salad with a Slevin Bacon Burger. Salad came quickly. Very nice presentation, and the ranch dressing tasted delicious. The burger came a few minutes later, and it was, again, very well presented. Lots of cheese and bacon stacked high on a well-cooked burger. The patty had good flavor on its own. Fries were delicious. Really good visit and a good value, too. I'll be back.

This place is horrible because when my basket is empty, my stomach is completely full.....filled with a decadent and perfectly cooked burger.....that I ordered, usually the BOTM....which is a crazy but delicious concoction that pairs well with itself, ironically enough. But like I said, horrible.

Had a group of 4 of us come in to get dinner this past Saturday. This was our first experience. It was not busy so we had high hopes. It took 20 minutes to get our drink orders in. The food came out at a reasonable time. The presentation of the food was good but that was about as far as it got. The hamburgers were chewy and lacked flavor. I literally had half of my sandwich if even that. My husband who mind you can eat just about anything was shaking his head. Our drinks went empty because the waitress never came back to check on us. We had to come up to the counter to get our check because that was another 20 minutes. If the place had been really busy I could have somewhat understood this but it was half full if even that. Update- Yes, we could have brought this to your attention IF we could have found a staff member. I did bring this up via an email yet No reply hence an honest review. To explain “chewy”- Cutting into a burger and having a very difficult time doing so. .. a rubber consistency../ lacking flavor.

First of all you have to be paying attention to find this place driving down 37 don't just stop at Steak and Shake but keep going! We just happened to see the lights from the patio and hear the music from the parking lot. Good food and good music surely made our day! Amy did a nice job serving. And Pressed in Black gave us a great show! Never heard of them but now I can't stop listening to them we were blown away by the talent! Thank you Between the Buns for making our evening!
