Worst service I have ever experienced. We had a party of 9 for a Friday lunch. I ordered when I got there at 12:15 and didn't get my BLT until 1:30. It wasn't even that busy. I didn't get water until 1:15. Only reason we stayed is because other people in the party got their food. After finding out 3 of our orders were never turned in (around 1:00) our waitress was very apologetic, resubmitted our order and gave it to us on the house. (That was nice at least) 2 of the 3 of us got their burgers and finished before mine ever came out. I was there for an hour and fifteen minutes and had to take my lunch to go. Will never come here again. Don't go if you want to get back to work within 1-2 hours.

Just had my last experience with BearCats. I have had 4 bad experiences and this is the last one. Ordered a sandwich and although it tasted very good, when I turned it over it had mold on the outside of the bread. They offered to remake it and a free Coke.

Came here for lunch in a group of 3 and ordered right away. We waited 45 minutes without getting food or even water. Reminded the waitress that we hadn't been served yet and she said she would go check on it. Another 10 minutes later she came back and said they had LOST OUR ORDER and we needed to re-order. So we re-ordered and 10 minutes later she came back with 2 plates for the 3 of us and she said she forgot what the 3rd person had ordered. So the person had to re-order AGAIN, at which point she just took it to go and left. I understand being busy and having slow service but the tables around us came in after us and had their food within 10 minutes. Plus not getting water for about an hour after coming in when it's 90+ degrees outside is terrible service. Made me late back to work on my lunch break. Would not recommend.

The Super Burger w/fries was delicious. The price for burger was not bad and I got food in a timely manner during my lunch hour. Food price was $9.53 and I left $2 tip for service, however when I checked my bank statement, I was charged total of $13.53...was not aware that there would be an additional tip since I was 1 of a party of 3. I will definitely go back, but will only use cash.

Bearcats is one of my favorite places for lunch. Simple Spartan atmosphere, but I think that fits well with the locale - the Stutz building. The service has always been friendly and quick, and the food consistently delicious. My personal fav off the menu is their catfish po'boy. The fish is always fresh, hot & crisp, and even for me it's awesome without hot sauce (tho you can't go wrong adding a little...) Lucky for me it's in walking distance, but I'd drive if I had to.

Bearcats is a great Indy staple. If you're a car fan you'll really enjoy the old timey car feel as you eat in the main hallway section. Breakfast take out is common and the lunch crowd is busting at the seams around noon- noon thirty. This place sits people outside, inside the main bar area and also out in the well-lit hallway in the heart of the Stutz building. You are welcome to walk around the place before during or after your meal and see what other businesses the Stutz building has to offer. Bearcats serves 4-5 daily lunch specials listed at the table every day. The lunch specials range from salad to soup to sandwhich to entree sizes. The menu is full of mostly grill and grease food, but doesn't feel to greasy or heavy. The servers don't go thru high turn over so odds are you'll have the same gal if you sit in the same spot. Susan and Krissy are my favorites there. The food is done quickly every time. The restaurant accommodates 2 larger table parties with the main seating for 6 or more people being in the Stutz main hallway. There are some appetizers that are only served in the late afternoon as they take up too much time or grill space during the large lunch rush. The table cloths aren't high class but fit the restaurant's location and style.

The only time I've had better catfish, for example - as prepared for the catfish po'boy - was when visiting family in central Louisiana. Service has been spot on and always focused on getting me fed and out the door to be back at the office timely. Great location, great service, great food.

I work in the Stutz Business Center, and I think that this restaurant is great. The old Bearcats Restaurant was less than adequate, but the new owner has really turned this place around. The staff is friendly, they are affordable, and they have one of the best vegetarian selections offered in Indianapolis for lunch. I would highly recommend this place is you are vegetarian or thinking about going vegetarian because the Veggie Burger and Veggie Soup is almost too good to be true!

This was my father's and I first time here. The food was great, let's get that part out of the way. I had the delicious large tenderloin sandwich that I was unsure if I could finish (yes, I powered through it). The reason I gave two stars is because of the unnecessarily long wait. We arrived, found our seats and waited a few minutes for our waitress to greet us. That part was kinda expected since we weren't her only table. What brought on this review was the fact that after her taking our order and giving us drinks, we waited nearly 40 minutes without anymore interaction from our waitress. She didn't let us know that our food was taking a bit longer, literally no communication. The whole 40 minutes, my father sat with an empty drink and even a bit beyond us getting our food. I also ended up having to put more time into our parking meter because who wants a parking ticket? While we sat and waited, a group came in, ordered, ate and left before we received our food. Obviously everyone's experience here will be different and maybe we picked a bad day but at the end of the day, our service was bad.

The food is not so much comfort food as more a place for office staff lunches, with burgers, sandwiches and salads being the order of the day in general. The staff are great characters always with a smile and friendly disposition, the prices are very reasonable and the portions quite good (excellent when it comes to salads). Nice setting, good location for office workers (a little out of the way for passing trade) and definitely beats the plethora of fast-food mobile vans that crowd the streets outside of office blocks.

This is unacceptable for a lunch when a person has to go back to work. She made me late returning to work. I had to politely ask where to pay for someone to summons her to our table. Poor service. Not worth a visit at lunch unless you have plenty of time to sit and wait for your bill.

Love the catfish here. Breading is awesome and doesn't taste super fishy like most catfish. Also can't go wrong with the chicken tenders or sandwich and the tenderloin which is Indiana huge. Breading on all is perfect for the type of meat. Love their salads too! Also, soooo happy they have sweet potato fries!!

The food was good. However...The staff simply needs more support. The one server working the dinner crowd was not keeping up despite literally running trying to wait on the entire restaurant. Menus were only provided upon request because, apparently, it is Burger Week (not sure what that means as it is not posted anywhere). Several tables of unserved customers left. Food orders came out to the wrong tables and werwere sent back over and over. This one server was not writing anything down. And we had to ask for our ticket multiple times. She did apologize for the waiting and assured us that "it's not usually like this". We believe, though don't know for a fact, that a manager (white chef's coat) was present and sitting at a hightop table for a while and then left midway through our experience without helping.

Breading on all is perfect for the type of meat. Love their salads too! Also, soooo happy they have sweet potato fries!!

The food was good. However...The staff simply needs more support. The one server working the dinner crowd was not keeping up despite literally running trying to wait on the entire restaurant. Menus were only provided upon request because, apparently, it is Burger Week (not sure what that means as it is not posted anywhere). Several tables of unserved customers left. Food orders came out to the wrong tables and werwere sent back over and over. This one server was not writing anything down. And we had to ask for our ticket multiple times. She did apologize for the waiting and assured us that "it's not usually like this". We believe, though don't know for a fact, that a manager (white chef's coat) was present and sitting at a hightop table for a while and then left midway through our experience without helping.

Beercats is a top notch place to grab a quick bite and brew after hard day of work. Friendly staff, good grub, and surprisingly impressive beer list!!!!!! CHEERS
