We have the information of real people like you who buy the products and services of Bawarchi Indian Cuisine - Cincinnati (Restaurant) in the area close to the state of Indiana.
As of day the business gets a score of 3.5 out of 5 and this rating has been based on 481 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is very high, and it's based on a very large number of opinions, so we can be quite sure that the assessment is very accurate. If many people have bothered to leave their review when they've done well, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to put reviews when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Indian restaurant.
We had good experience at Bawarchi this weekend. Daal makhni was like regular daal tadhka but saahi paneer and rest of the food was delicious. Staff was good too. I would go next time.
Really good. :) best Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. They have the best dosa and the best sambar and chutneys. They're also known for their biryani ( South Indian). The customer service is fantastic, they are very kind and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!
I have been roaming around in OH due to my job. Tried almost all Indian restaurants and finally Bawarchi Briyani in my town with authentic Indian food. Even though I m not from India I love eating spicy fusion food. Thanks for being here.
Most of my take out orders they miss something which was charged and when i call them they answer so rude and hang up and not answering the calls. Very bad service. Very untidy in restaurant we got hair last time and food had bad smell.
We used love this place so much, we didn't mind driving to Cincinnati from dayton. Today we went there and had the same items but we didn't like the taste at all. Something changed. There was no flavor, taste was different etc. We couldn't eat it. So sad.
I just tried this place for the first time and was less than impressed. I walked in when they opened (was the first person in the door) and placed my take out order. The wait staff and woman at the register were not friendly and didn’t respond when asked for a status update. Nearly 45 minutes later my food finally came. For the price, I was not impressed with the amount of meat - it was mainly a bowl full of rice. Not sure I’ll be going back and definitely do not recommend for lunch due to cost and time.
Delicious chicken Tikka dosa.
Excellent biryani and starters...
Nothing to rave about. The service is terrible, took a long time just to pay the cashier. Small portions for the price. Not coming back.
Had takeout this place twice and my favorites so far have been the dal tadka and the Andhra chepala pulusu fish curry eaten with naan of course
Authentic Indian Food. Had an amazing time with family.. Feels little bit congested for the crowd.. Service was average.. But loved the food
Good food. But very very very bad reception and customer service.
It was the first time I tasted Indian food and was not good, the place is nice, the people is really nice, but I'll never try again Indian food. Maybe people who love indian food could love this place
Goat dum biryani is awesome, better than Hyd house. If you say spicy for all the dishes, you will get double hazardous level of spiciness. Avoid the appetizers. Temper biryani calls for a Dr appointment.
HORRIBLE, dirty and nasty. Everyone please stay far away from this establishment. The food was greasy and nasty. Ordered Chicken Britain and tasted so bad that I couldn't even think about Briyani again. Also found human hair in it. So nasty. The waiter gave a rude look when I complained. Never coming back again. These people are only to make money but don't care about quality. Stay away.
This is my favorite place to eat Biryani in Cincinnati area. Food is amazing here and must try if you are Hyderabad biryani lover.
On the advice of an Indian client of mine I came here for dinner tonight. for the life of me I have no idea what these 1-star ratings are all about. Every single employee was friendly, the restaurant was clean and the food was exemplary.the majority of customers and there were about 20 of them were of Indian descent or Indian that tells you something about the authenticity of the place. Ignore the bad reviews if you like authentic Indian food you want to eat here. believe me. UPDATE:. WENT BACK AGAIN WITH MY SISTER TONIGHT THE SERVICE WAS AGAIN EXEMPLARY THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AGAIN TRIED SOME DIFFERENT THINGS. THE CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA DOSA WAS VERY TASTY THOUGH I PREFER MORE SPICE WHICH WAS VERY EVIDENT IN THE CILANTRO CHICKEN AND CHICKEN CURRY . I'll reiterate from my original review, I haven't a clue what the reason is for the bad reviews that other folks have given this place.
left with bad taste in the mouth (no pun intended)!! As expected service was bad. Service was preferential. They attended to people who they knew and felt like their food got their faster than the ones. Felt like not all customers were treated alike. The online menu shows only half the menu, but there are mistakes, some items are repeated. The in-restaurant menu has lot more items, but most of them are not available. I think they have a long way to go in order to survive and compete and become professionals in managing clients and servicing etc. The only shinning star is the food taste. it is exemplary. But if they continue to make all these mistakes, you have to wonder how long they will last.
Great food. Love the service. Spicy the way I like it but the soup has too much kalee mirch
Great aythentic biryani house, and be prepared to have some spicy food. They serve chicken, goat, fish and prawns. The portions are good and a Biryani can be shared by two people comfortably.
This place has good variety of and authentic south Indian food .Buts its good for family or casual outings only. And service again bit slow.
Bad service don't come to this place. They took my order and they came back and said kitchen is closed. Shouldnt have took the order in the first place then. It should be there responsability to take the order in time we dint know their kitchen times
They have amazing indo-chinese cuisine.Perfect place for spicy food lovers
I must say that food is good, but they lack effective management when they get busy . Last time when we went, we ordered for 4 items and only 3 came to table . We asked about the item at least 3 times and every time someone go to kitchen to check and never come back to us . At last they ended up asking us if they can cancel and we said ok. When we went to pay the bill, many people were in queue and there was lot of confusion around .
Food was good little salty. Being from food business I would recommend you use thinner gloves so can be changed after each serving. Keeping same gloves for everything is not appropriate. Please keep to go containers in safe found hair. Food I give 5 for hygiene part 2.
Very good food. Had the samosa very light and also the mysore masala dosa which was amazing... very good food what ever tried till now.. keep up the good work.
I Highly recommend this place for Goat Biryani
Fantastic food. As always love their biryanis and Pulav’s.
Ordered food via door dash. Was informed by restaurant they could not make half the order so they were taking off only those items and only sending half our order which would only feed half our family of 7. Manager called informed us of the issue and then would not cancel the order and then hung up on my wife after a second call back. Will never order from here again and we eat Indian 3 nights a week and spend about $150 a week on it.
Delicious food, great service, and reasonable prices. Having a choice between naan and rice included with the entree is a plus.
I have mixed feelings about Bawarchi. Bhindi and Gobi are delicious here, but service for pickup and delivery can be painfully slow. The one time I did pickup, it took a half hour longer than estimated. When I tried delivery, it took 1 hour 10 mins longer than estimated (2 hours from order placement to delivery). Service was decent when dining in.
This is my first negative review ...i do not know if this is same chain as what we have in other cities, food here is constantly not up to the mark. Had been here three times in last couple of months and always been disappointed. Biryani is really bad and it is not authentic Hyderabadi biryani
Management is bad, not a good response from the management. Sometime they don't have the food that you order. I ordered a take out for gobi manchurian, The gobi was immersed in oil and i could see the oil floating. Their online application does not work properly! If you would like to order by phone it will always be busy. The management speak very harshly. I do not wish to go next !
The food was very good, I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants around Cincinnati area and this is one of the better ones. The menu is quite large, if you don't know a lot about Indian food it might be difficult to order.
The bathroom is dirty and the fittings are cheap, but it's clear they spend their time and money where it counts: the food. A bit saltier than we're used to, but easily on par with the more expensive places. I like that they have more than just curry, though the meat in the sauceless dishes is very bony. Still delicious, but if you're a pansy-white American like me you might want to stick to the boneless curry.
Decent food. Ordered veg korma, medium spice with tandoori roti for take out tonight. But the hot food is packed in black plastic containers, which is a big turn off and a health concern:( Hope you guys can find a better sustainable alternative to that, like thick paper containers!
Love the food here. Only place i felt where the food taste was close to what we get in india. Not all indian restros provide tasty food here i feel. But we have been there for 5-6 times since opened and food taste seems to be best and consistent. Only drawback is its crowed during weekends and the service needs to be improved. They did improve a lot from the intial days but can check the customer service from other restaurants on how customer service can be improved. Like one assigned waiter just put the plate and went. Later no sign of him. We asked for water and till the time we left no water provided. I get it they are busy and the waiters are busy attending all of the customers. But we have been to crowded resturants here and still they never compromise on service. There are few employees who takes care of their customers and i have good rapport with them but not all so this review is for them. Otherwise this place has great value and potential.
Holy smokes this place is dynamite! Southen Indian dishes which gives you some choices you aren't likely to see at other Indoan places in the area.
Ordered three different times three different chicken appetizers (chicken 555, chicken 65, karampodi chicken). Except the first item the others did not meet expectations, taste and spice wise. And coming to the quantity I was very disappointed. For the price they charge and the quantity they provide is very very less. I gave three tries and was mostly disappointed. Also as others mentioned staff are not professional. Not going again.
I got a bunch of food for myself and my friend last evening, to go. I was given a bag in hand which had a label with all items written on it. I took it and almost reached home and then I get a call (after 25 mins) that I forgot my parcel. Today I call them and ask for a refund for forgetting to give my food to me. I even offered the option of me getting the same food the next time I arrive at the restaurant. The guy on the phone says that it is my fault and they won't do anything about it. He also argued about it again and again, and insisted that I was at fault. I then said let me talk to your Manager. Then he claims that he is the owner. The Owner is clearly a FRAUD. Trying to run a business here and sticking to a mentality from roots?
Great food. Ordered extra spicy and flavor was perfect without too much heat!
worst management even and least bothered to respect customers .They dont even care or value their customers. I strongly recommend not to visit this place and also doubt the meat being served there .
This place was recommended to me by an Indian. Unfortunately my wife and I were totally ignored for 20 minutes after being sat. There were several employees just standing around. It was obviously intentional. Avoid like the plague.
The nastiest restaurant ever bringing bad name to Indians. This is not Briyani. They mixed temper pickles with Briyani and pass it as Temper Briyani. Nothing original. Just a dirty fast food. Couldn't even make raitha correctly. Overrated and overhyped and definitely bringing bad name to Indian community. This is like a worst street food in Indian slums but way overpriced. How is Mason Health Department still allowing them to run like this. Ridiculous. Humble request to Americans, please stay away.
Excellent food and great service. They people working are very efficient and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious. Give it a try.
I had heard a lot about this chain of restaurant. The food was mediocre for my taste. With a group of 10, we had variety of biryanis ordered and most of them tasted the similar. Service is pretty good. Masala tea is good as well.
Appetizers and Pulaos are must try. Karampodi is my favorite.Authentic food.
Best Biryani in cincy hands down. Indo chinese also v good.
Halal, Very Spicy, Pakistani/Indian cuisine
Glad there's a great biriyani place here in Cincinnati. Looks like they are understaffed. The waiters don't check on you shuttling between tables. I found that annoying. Wish they were more friendly. But the food made up for it. It was yummy.
Delicious food and tasty spices. Staff was friendly, but service was very slow. It looks as though they are understaffed and indeed they had a "hiring" sign on the door. Our food came out in 5 different deliveries and the staff delivered food to several other tables while we waited for my wife's order to be finished. The food is also overpriced in our opinion.
Amazing Indian food! Will definitely recommend for Chinese food! Pros: Great service, quality food and fresh! Cons: The sitting arrangement is really conjugated. Avoid going between 5-8pm during weekends!
Beware of bad service and food is so so.. the person taking the orders didn't even know what we ordered and we placed the order again after 40 mins..there are other better Indian options around..
Very rude ..long wait & canceled a pickup order n wouldn't serve
Taste of the food was great.loved the creaminess of paneer butter masala.
Great food and efficient staff but the overall ambiance could be better. The chairs are a little low budget, there's always kids crying, and the waiting area for pickup orders could be right next to your table. But overall the food and staff are solid! Good selection of vegetarian and non-veg options.
Courteous & prompt service and delicious food
The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the place is clean. However the service leaves a lot to be desired. Generally longer than expected wait times, but the food is good enough to make it worth it in my opinion. I would agree with other reviewers that the meat portions are quite small. The Tandoori Chicken is fantastic but should be an appetizer rather than a main course.
Today I ordered for the first time and this is the last time. My entree was horrible... it looked like processed baby food from a jar... saag paneer .... I will not return or recommend
Their dishes suck if it’s a To Go order. Maybe because it’s their way of getting rid off rotten stuff. Well one can’t always bring it back but can definitely leave a feedback here. I ordered Karvepku chicken. And the chicken was completely burnt (maybe because of repeated heating in microwave). It tasted like rubber and I couldn’t even swallow. Finally gave up and it ended up in trash. My sincere advice to the chefs and the management- being negligent and trying to sell rotten stuff can’t be ignored or tolerated. it’s going to affect your reputation which is already shaky with your in house service.
Too much delay in serving the food. People ordered after us were served first. Daal and Eggplant were tasty but the naans were cold and dry. They give 10 percent discount for cash payment. The price is reasonable.
There was so much oil on the nan when I went home to play basketball with my son the ball kept on sliping out of my hands. If you want a good Indian restaurant go to Curries.
Loved the place for the variety of biryaani's that are offered. I had not seen this much variety back home in India also. Plus try ending your meals with mango lassi as I did the same and it was really good. Must visit for any biryaani lover in and around Cincinnati.
Great food, slow service. If you are in a hurry, wait until you have a little more time to spare.
Best restaurant ever. Last week was our first time and the biryani is amazing. Had to come back for a Dosa.
After our favorite family-owned Indian restuarant closed, my wife and I took a chance on Bawarchi. It did not disappoint! Unlike other local chains we've tried, the food was spectacular. We don't like most chains because the food is usually American-ized and often consists of typical menu choices. This was not the case here. Rather we found the menu to closely parallel to the traditional, family owned favorite we'd lost. Meanwhile the space was clean and service was as expected. Though its a small interior and they do not offer liquor, the freshness, flavor, and quality of the food is truly the reason to come here. Dishes were well blended, nicely spiced, and the curries are served with your choice of nan or rice (which is a nice option you don't normally get). If I have to nitpick anything: I didn't care for the water. Small issue for how good the food was. We'll be back as often as we can and telling all our friends!!!
Incredibly tasty. Plenty authentic dishes to choose from. Great service.
Starters were really good. Naan and butter chicken was good too. Little disappointed with their Biryani, the gravy was less and the rice was without moisture and dry...
Good authentic Indian food. Specially Andhra Pradesh dishes
Food is limited as it is a soft start and not grand opening. Whatever that means. Chaotic place. No handle on service. Non veg is very good. Sorry veggies. Poor interior and very unhygienic. Peak in kitchen and you will understand.
We had a big order including a masala dosa (which comes with sambar) with extra coconut chutney. Come home to find out that there is not only no extra coconut chutney, but also NO sambar. Dosa is not even very good. Called to tell and all the lady says is “we were busy”
Good food and service.
Awesome food. Restaurant is slightly small. So it feels crowded. But the food is tasty. Chicken chetinad was fantastic.
This place is just terrible it took them 1 hour to serve one meal shrimp
I went to Bawarchi Biryanis for dinner with my family last night and the food was amazing. I had Dosa and Idli for the first time and their Paneer Chicken was to die for. I've had Saag Paneer lots of different places and I think this was the best Paneer I've ever had. Great food and really nice staff! My only "complaint" is that this restaurant doesn't have any kid-friendly meal options. I have a young son who won't eat anything he doesn't recognize. I love everything on the menu here but if you have small children just know that you won't find chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, or hamburger on the menu here!
Very good food and staff is super friendly.
One of the most overrated restaurant in Cincinnati area. Worst food ever tasted. If you order biryani, they give goat curry topped with basmati rice. Worst service. They kill at least 2 hrs or your time if you dine in. Not recommended.
This restaurant serves Indian slop: I ordered a $12.00 Chicken Tandoori entree that consisted of two small chicken legs, two tiny pieces of A CHICKEN BACK, and three tiny bone-in pieces of undeterminable chicken parts! Really?!? Don't waste your money!
Terrible service. WHEN they bring your biryani after an hour, you’ll have a mountain of rice and like 2-3 pieces of meat. What a waste of time and effort it was to drive 45 minutes for this place.
Service is amazing. Nish waited on us. He is the best! This was my first time eating here. I had the goat. It wasn't bad at all. I wanted to try something new. Food was really good.
When we walked in, we could just feel that this was going to be a great experience. The prices seemed high on the menu until you see just how big the meal is, and how amazingly tasty. I was not necessarily a fan of Indian food, per se, but I might be now. Best restaurant experience I've had since I moved to this area 6 years ago.
Amazing food. The place is a tad small based on the crowd size usually present there so the service becomes a bit slow. But they try to do their best to entertain everyone. I would definitely recommend everyone to go there!
Blend food in tiny portions at ridiculous prices. This was by far the worst Indian restaurant in Cincinnati. We tried three different dishes and all were tasteless.
Very good biryani! Lunch specials are a little limited though, one or two options for sides would be nice.
I ordered family pack biryani at doordash and they delivered a single biryani. I had to drive 7 miles to come here and wait for 15mins to change the order at the store. They didn’t even feel sorry what they delivered. My parents were waiting for the food while all this happened. I will never order again from here.
The chicken fry was burnt and the server was arguing with me that this is how it was made. Their “world famous” biriyani was cold. All in all, the only thing I would recommend is the falooda.
Been a loyal customer since the day it opened. Good comes in huge quantities and has amazing flavor. Everything is reasonably priced. Can't Complain at all
It is an amazing restaurant, friendly staff , manager Anil Kumar is really cool. You gotta try their food it's literally the best tasting Indian food I have ever had in Cincy area. I agree that during peak times restaurant gets busy which would result in food delays and poor service but it doesn't necessarily make it a bad restaurant. Best food, no doubt.
Very delicious food. The portions are very very very generous. One biryani is easily enough for two
One of the best Indian food in area!
Authentic Indian cuisine! Loved the spicy Ulavacharu chicken biryani, chettinad chicken and karivepaku babycorn. Will visit again.
I have been trying lot of Indian restaurants near Cincinnati. Probably this is one of the nicest restaurants with reasonable prices. It’s always crowded with people so you can expect some delay in the service, especially in the weekends.
Pathetic customer service. They are fully concentrated on the online and taking takeout orders. Didn’t even have the courtesy to give water even after being seated for 45 minutes.
Amazing place for Indian food. It was a bit crowded but worth the wait.
Reached the restaurant at 7:00 PM on not a busy Wednesday, ordered 2 starters, a curry and bread, 2 biryani. They served us a starter at 7:30, then they served us curry and bread at 7:40 , other starter at 7:50 and biryani at 8:35 PM. Guys serving food are rude and no responsibility. By the way we were 3 people.
As someone who has eaten at a lot of Cincinnati's Indian restaurants I have to say this was very good. Good food good service. Very fresh and very quick.
Food was ok but the waiter was very rude. I prefer other Indian restaurants which offer good food and ‘Service’.
Nice place, delicious food. Don’t go for hot dishes, they use too much spices
Never did the take-out order right. Always messed up. I ordered veg dum biryani and got avakaya biryani. Then went back to pick up the right order. They gave me just white rice with no real dum veggies. It's pathetic to see the bad service. Don't think will miss anything if this restaurant is not round to be honest. Don't feel the price is right for the service I received.
Worst food ever had, not fresh at all. Google please keep an option for zero star rating... this is my third and last time. First time when i was here it was awesome they maintained some standards. Tried second time it was bad. Wanted to give one more chance and came back it was worst. Statutory warning: please don’t try..
Good Indian food, Must try Vijaywada boneless biryani
Poor ambience but good food
Best Indian restaurant in Cincinnati! The food is spicy and delicious. We will be back.
It was great ! I have had never had Indian food before today. Very clean and very fast. I was unsure of a lot of the words on the menu and had to Google a lot to figure out what is was. Would definitely order takeout in the future.
We’ve been here several times and has been great each time.
Extremely dissapointed. My order was wrong and the food was very bland and soupy. I got the chicken masala and it had maybe 5 chicken chunks with massive cuts of red and white onion. There was more onions than anything else and they we're almost raw. I missed so many flavors I look for in a masala. I could barely taste any of the wonderful spices and flavors that come with Indian food. $30 plus a tip for something that couldn't even be considered canned food. Bring some more authenticity to your food. Aren't you from India? Would you serve this in the streets of India?
It used to be the best biryani place in Cincinnati. You name a type of biryani, and they have it, and they make it better than anyone around. But..... Things changed, days passed... their biryani now, is horrible. Yes, horrible is an apt description of its taste now. When I ordered an extra spicy biryani, I got an oily buttery rice, without spice and without SALT. There is no salt in the biryani. The taste is disgusting and I am not going there again. Period.
Nice tasty indian food
First day of opening - Good food and people just kept pouring in. Given the rush, I ordered a to go. It took good 30 minutes for an appetizer and a biryani. It's close to the expectations, but not there yet. It's probably because they're new and working on things. I hope they expand the menu for better options as I have had in Chicago and Columbus.
The food was awesome. Hitesh was really friendly and chitika
I have been to many restaurants. But I never saw an irresponsible management and its staff like this. I hope they will learn the prioritization and hospitality in future.
I had terrible experience. Actually I want to give -ve rating. I went around 5times. All ways came outwith dissatisfied. Most of the items won't be available from menu. The available is also not tasty. I disappointed a lot
Tastes pathetic and has no hygiene I will never go there again
My husband is from Andra Pradesh and found this place. We've been there twice. It's a good option if you would like to go for South Indian food. All the biryanis and andra specific food was great. Ulvacharu Biryani was on point (husbands words). I was very excited to see indo-Chinese in Cincinnati but we ordered multiple items and none of them were good. It was one sauce for everything kind of deal. Worth checking out if you are craving good South Indian food!
Went in to have lunch at 2:35. Their hours are posted that they are open until 3. I was told that they had already closed the kitchen. I had been there several time but it will be a long time if I consider going back.
Now a days food in this restaurant is getting worse... there is no salt in chutneys and biryanis which they are serving is prepared in last week...it will be better if you guys can serve best food with quality
Just ordered for delivery. The first time I’ve tried this restaurant. We love Indian food and have eaten at many of the restaurants in and around the greater Cincinnati area. This was by far the most disappointing. Ordered chicken tiki marsalas and saag paneer. The saag looked and tasted like runny baby food. It was like pea green soup. In the garbage it went. The chicken tiki looked ok but was flavorless. With so many other delicious Indian options around, don’t waste your time here. Not good with pretty standard dishes.
Worst service ever.. they took half n hr to take the order and took 1 hr to get. And, for Hyderabad Goat & Chicken dum biryani, they got me biryani rice with curry.. worst food ever. Not recommended.
We had catered food for 50 people last week and the food was excellent. The goat curry and chicken biryani were delicious. Stuffed biangan was excellent. The quantity was more than expected. They kept food ready on time. Overall excellent experience. We will recommend this place anytime for big parties.
Food tastes really good. All the biryanis are amazing. But we had worst experience with the service.
We loved their Gobi 65 and chicken lollipop other than that everything is spicy . we wanted to taste fish with mild spice but they didn't have any ☹️. Please have options on every food with spice level adjusted. We would love to eat if the spice level can be adjusted.
They are okay, I asked them to separate veg and non- veg, but they didn't care. Food is good though.
Disappointed by the quantity of the entree and taste of the naan. $13 lunch and left hungry.
We went to eat there, and door was closed during the hours that it says it was open. I could see people eating inside. Someone came out and said do we have an order to pick up. We said no and he said they were only open for people picking up orders. No explanation of why they were closed. We were not the only people to be turned away. I understand something could have happened, but you explain to people who you can't serve them and give them an option like come back another day and we will give you naan on the house. But it's not my business. Went to another Indian restaurant 10 minutes away and had great service and food.
Excellent service...Sahaja and Anil are great!!!
Disgusting service! Great food ruined by disgusting service. These people seriously needs to understand what a service industry is. They just can't have the same mentality like in India. They need to train their staff on how to communicate and take care of customers. The Nepalese lady at the front was very rude in taking order and never checked back on us afterwards. Never coming back to dine in again.
We stopped in Sunday to try this restaurant for the first time. We walked in, seated ourselves, and waited a good 10-15 minutes for service. We were never acknowledged or talked too. It was like we were invisible. An Indian couple walked in. A table was cleared for them, set, and menus provided. All within 1-2 minutes. Upon observing this we left immediately. Obvious case of discrimination. We love Indian food and eat it frequently. This is the closest Indian restraunt to our home. We were hoping for more. With good food and good service we would have been regulars. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Mike in Landen
Excellent food and quick serving !!! We had idly Sambar and Rava Dosa. To our surprise they just served in 5 mins - fresh and tasty. Enjoyed every bite. Very friendly staff ! Best place to visit
Food is good. And there are not many options. However they are overbooked and take long time to deliver on weekends
Nope. Went multiple times, tried different items, taste was never satisfying. Only the mango lassi good!
Nice food with many options
I travelled from Georgia to visit our family and friends. During the Christmas Eve we went to dine in, the taste of the food is good however they didn't bring what was ordered. Instead of normal Rava Dosa, they brought Masala Rava Dosa, when asked to change, we we're told kitchen is already closed, asked to remove masala and eat...
Bad and Rude management. They don't care about your food or what you need. They only care about $$$. Cheap rats
Great flavors. Spiced; not spicy. Some will find it too hot. For me, it was perfect. Had chili chicken, Hyderabad style chicken biryani, and butter chicken. Cannot wait to go again. Wonderful dishes and super polite staff. I highly recommend.
Food was excellent, however customer service and wait time as well as communication was poor.
The quality has improved
The food was really good but the service not good at all
Best Indian restaurant in town!! Authentic indian, would love to go again❤️
Welcome to the neighborhood. Great food and definitely applaud for keeping calm and moving on in the first days chaotic opening by every employee at the restaurant. Great team effort. Great service and staff. Food quality excellent. Great job by everyone working there. I am pretty sure things will be more in control once settled.
Food is OK but service is terrible.. we requested to move and they asked to take our plates and silver with us... seriously...!!! Waiter was rude and didn’t know how to talk and serve. Its a good food chain and they really messed it up. Hygiene is really poor .. you can see pile of uncleaned plates right in front of you sitting. Won’t recommend if you are looking for fine dinning.
Deliscious... friggin deliscious. 95% of the people I see dining there are Indian. Does that tell you anything?
A new, but amazing Indian restaurant. I have been three times so far. I have gotten biryani dishes, which are out of this world. So much food for not bad of a price. The saag is also to die for. The service is always great. The servers are friendly and personable. I will continue to come back here to try their other dishes!
Staff can learn a thing or two about politeness. Food has been good 3 out of 5 times. The times it was good, it has been really good.
Need to wait a lot and no one bothers about giving a menu or taking orders for more than 20 minutes. The staff is busy caring for people who order online.
Absolutely disgusting and dirty Indian restaurant I had ever been to. When we arrived the lady at the counter pointed us to a table. We should have left right then for being rude but decided to stay. We couldn't see anything outside through the glass windows as it is smudged with fingerprints. All I could think about was where did those fingers went. Finally the dreadful lady arrived and she kept scratching her face while she took our order. We were really crreped out and just did not know what to do. We still decided to try something. She couldn't explain to us a lot of items listed on the menu. We stick to our usual took a masala and nan. The food was very bland. The chicken was not shredded but chunky pieces and the sauce was very bland. With so many good India restaurants, I never knew Indian restaurant would be this bad. We had different people bringing out our food. Not a friendly service but we were bit overwhelmed. , Finally after forcing ourselves some food instead of wasting our money, we used the restrooms. Absolutely filthy and pretty sure these are some of thr worst restrooms in Mason. Too grossed out to explain. I heard the men's restroom was disgusting as well We just decided to pay and leave immediately. Just stay away from this one. It's poorly managed and looks like it's run by scammers.
Arrived for lunch early with few tables full. Food was really disappointing, particularly for the price. Waiter never once returned to check on us. For some reason I couldn’t understand they wouldn’t let us order from the lunch specials. Something about an equipment failure? As the waiter never brought our bill the cashier took forever figuring out how to charge us. Terrible from start to finish.
Nice food. Good service
Some of the best tasting food I've had in my life. I got a lunch combo. There was chicken biryani, chicken curry, naan and more. The spices were a crazy good treat for the palate. The restaurant looks decent. It took a long time to get our food and the service was just fair. The food was unbelievable.
Food is good but the service is the worst. We waited for almost 20 minutes after we were seated and weren't even served with water. Better order online and pick up food and dine at home 1 star for the service
The Bawarchi with boneless chicken was excellent and could feed two. The garlic naan with vegetable curry was also a perfect addition. I'd recommend mild if you typically get medium from other restaurants.
Excellent taste! Try it. Nice open area and ambience. Good seating area. Service was good and fast. Will come back.
I don't know how to give this place a 0 star. The issue is that theres no good Indian restaurant with the prices around to put this horrible thing called a restaurant out of business. Service and management skills are clearly non existent. Waiting 75 mins for an order after being told 40 minutes, then seeing 3 tables get sat 10 minutes after I place my order and STILL get their food 20 minutes before me is highly infuriating. I really hope someone comes out with an Indian restaurant that understands giving the same amount of high quality service to Indians just as much as is given to Americans is a decent thing to do as a business in the food service industry.
Go to Menu for me and my friends in Bawarchi has always been 1. Avakai Idli 2. Masala Idli 3. Chicken 555 4. Vijaywada Boneless Chicken Biryani - Do not miss out ordering this if you are Non-Vegetarian. I must say they serve best Indian food. We are regular weekend traveler from Lexington to Cincinnati just coz we can have authentic Indian food.
delicious food, and good service.
worst restaurant I have ever been too. customer service very bad. I went their with family and I'm allergic to onion garlic and they had no food with onion garlic and we were trying to ask the employee and he didn't undersrood what we were saying he was so confused. Never Going Again, or telling anyone to go.
The Worst Vijayawada boneless biryani i have ever eaten.
The only reason they get any star is that some of their curries have rich authentic taste and are seasoned just right. Some snacks like gobi manchurian are still super spicy. However, their service and hygiene standards have declined so much from mediocre standards to begin with, it makes me just sick to stomach seeing whatever the heck is going on there during dine in experience. A person wearing latex glove is cleaning tables, cleaning floor, serving water, serving curries with fingers dipping inside the curries with the same glove on...OMG.!! Not sure why health department has not taken any measures to stop this practice and make them improve their hygiene standards.
Food is good but service is terrible and the place is loud and noisy.
