It was good, not great. Especially for what I paid. The cod special was dry, but the glaze was good, I think they hoped it would moisten the over cooked fish, it didn't. The pesto ravioli was very good, but smal portion size for the price. Very good bread, they should consider a flavored oil.

Best Italian in Indy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Dishes are well done and Authentic. We had the chance to try brown butter cake (dessert special). Be sure to ask for it ... simply wonderful! We will be back. We love Ambrosia!

We came here for dinner last week for a friend's birthday and everything was excellent. The food, drinks and ambience of the restaurant was divine plus the staff and owner were both so nice and pleasant. Will definitely back.

Ambrosia has a great atmosphere, is reasonably priced for the quality of the food, and features a great wait staff. The lasagna is beyond delicious. I'd highly recommend making reservations before showing up.

What a great Italian restaurant! Starting with interior, to menu, to food, to awesome servers - everything was perfect. Pasta definitely tastes like it is home made (a la IL Corvo in Seattle) which is amazing and we will be definitely coming back again! Also, their Tiramisu is fantastic!

I loved the Industrial interior, with exposed ceiling and pipes. They had a wonderful fireplace. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered some type of spaghetti with shrimp, expecting it to be just spaghetti with shrimp, but it was so much more than that. The sauce was creamy, and didn't have the tangy tomato flavor that I was expecting. My friend had the best lasagna I've ever tasted. I would absolutely recommend Ambrosia to anyone, and I can't wait to go back.

A little pricey for my taste, but the food is good, staff is friendly and prompt, and the restaurant is clean. It is a little noisy, however, and kind of hard to hear someone who isn't directly next you.

The food is ALWAYS exceptional, but service is hit or miss. When it's a hit, this place is the best for Italian and the staff is incredibly friendly and professional - the grilled octopus alone is worth the visit even when the service is atrocious... unfortunately, there's no in between with the service here. You'll either have the best, most attentive staff member, or you won't even have bread or water brought to your table... and forget about your order being correct if you get bad service- Just enjoy whatever delicious dish you do receive from the food runner!

Never disappointing! We have been going here on our anniversary for the last 26 years, first in Broad Ripple and now on College Ave by Kessler. Excellant high end Italian cuisine,with dinners ranging from 18 and up. An excellant wine list and many good wines served by the glass. Family owned since 1979 and it shows. Definitely our kind of place.

I was really impressed by the food as well as the atmosphere. I felt that this is a really quiet, cozy, and romantic restrauant. I had a dinner on the patio one evening and it was really relaxing. Perfect for a date night. It was pretty crowd, but everyone was in their own little world and I think that really just says how cozy the place truly is. The food was very delicious and I look forward to visit this lovely spot again.

When the only thing you can find wrong with a restaurant is that there wasn't enough parking, you know it's a good restaurant. Thanks to Dave who took cars of our group, we're had a wonderful meal and felt well attended to. We'll be back for sure.

Reasonable prices (though we didn't order alcohol). Tasty food. Not the best I've ever had, but pretty good for Indiana. The table we got was the worst in the house, but we didn't get a reservation, so live and learn. Should have done the patio seating. Will be back when it's convenient.

Very nice Italian restaurant in the Broad Ripple area. Parking is the biggest issue here as we often have to find it in a nearby neighborhood. Dishes aren't oversized like some places so you do pay a fair bit for what you get, but it's high quality food. My family enjoys frequenting this place and will be back again.

The atmosphere is nice, but a little loud. Our service was good, and the best parts of the meal were the yummy bread & olive oil and the Ambrosia cocktails. We were underwhelmed by the salmon and pasta bolognese.

Scott was a great waiter...the tables arent so close together that ya hear other's conversations(Marcos)...the staff are warm and friendly without being effusive and losing boundries(flopping down in a chair at your table and acting like your best friend ...Chilis)...the staff are classy and mysterious without being stuffy and intimidating (Capri)...will I return soon... Where to start. My husband and I drove over an hour to have a date night dinner in Indianapolis. I had heard that Ambrosia was the place to go. We had made reservations for a Saturday night. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, we were greeted by two high school age kids who stood around looking very useless. She sat us at a very small table squeezed between two other tables. I asked for a nicer location and she obliged. Our waiter, Graham, was pleasant but very harried and obviously was either new or had too many tables to wait on. We had to repeatedly ask him for bread for our table. He never told us that there were specials for the evening and only told us after we had overheard another waiter telling a neighboring table. He offered to change our orders after he told us, but by then we were so unimpressed, that we said no. The manager/owner heard all of this taking place and never came over to ask if he could help or make our dining experience better. While we were eating, we kept being asked if we were finished with our meals, even though we were still eating. We also ordered two bottles of wine, so it wasn't as if we were trying to hurry. Our bill was 187.00 without tip and so, we weren't being cheap in this restaurant. Actually, I am not sure when I have experienced a worse dining experience. The food was also very mediocre, but we were so put off by the people here, the food was almost an aside . I wonder what Ruth Reichl would have said about them if she had dined here and if they would even care. I would never go back .
