Great food, I love the style and decor in the restaurant, the only downside is if you have a large family it can get quite pricey. I have 5 in my family and a usual meal will cost us anywhere between $60 and $75 dollars. They do have American meals for younger kids which helps if you have a picky eater.

Meal was great, been going here for more than 5 years and not a problem. Food is always fresh and hot.i would recommend this establishment to anyone. They will do substitutions for anything within reason.THIS IS A FAMILY TYPE RESTAURANT. They do have a bar area and do serve adult beverages.

The food and service were fine. however, I opened a new $100 Visa card to pay a $63 Bill. the cc slip came back with a $23 balance left on the card. I asked where the $14 went and the manager seemed as puzzled as me and had no answer for me.

It's hit or miss here. I always order the same thing, sometimes it's absolutely delicious and sometimes not so much. Sometimes you get a great waiter/waitress and sometimes they're more interested in hanging out by the register ignoring you. I've had it happen both ways about an equal amount of times. Three stars because I know this place has the potential to be better than hit or miss.

This restaurant was a festive, cheerful atmosphere.Salsa & tortilla chips were good.Salsa had a nice bite to it,not to hot.Chips were thin & light taste very good.I had the Acapulco burrito with a taco salad.Had the beef was tender & seasoned perfectly. Service was good & food came swiftly.You will not leave hungry.And even brought home a box. Price was fair. Will go back for SURE!

It is okay food. Service is good. They are nice. But it is does not taste as fresh as some of the other Mexican places around Cincinnati. And Drinks seem watered down. Or mix is not good. Bakersfield in OTR. Best best fresh Margaritas. But for Lburg food is OK.

We have been to this restaurant three times in the last several months and we joke that it gets better every time! The food is delicious, the prices are fair and the staff is so sweet! The past two times we have been there the gentleman checking us out even gave our kiddos each a lollipop which was unexpected and thoughtful! This is our new favorite places to get Mexican food!

If I could give this place zero stars I would!! Went here for a friends birthday dinner before going to Boogie Nights/Casino and was there for almost 3 hours because they were so slow. I have not been here before, but I know that eating at Mexican restaurants never takes that long!! It should not take 20 minutes to get a margarita, 30 minutes for chips & salsa, and another 45 minutes to get chips & guacamole!!! I told the waiter to not worry about the chips & guacamole because our food had just arrived, but he brought it out anyway. I obviously did not eat very much because I dint want my food to get cold, and when I went up to the register to pay, they refused to take it off the bill saying "I should have addressed it at the table and it's not their fault" and then charged my card anyway. Also, I got a to-go box for my guacamole, and the cashier had the audacity to ask what was in my box, and then proceeded to tell me that he would take the guacamole off ONLY if I threw the guacamole away in front of him. I could not lift my jaw off the floor after that!!! The manager then got involved and got in an argument with the waiter right in front of me in Spanish and the manager agreed with the cashier and demanded I throw it away prior to taking the guacamole off my bill. All in all, horrible first time experience here and I definitely will not be back!!!

The best place in Lawrenceburg to eat. Courteous waiters, awesome food. I highly recommend the Carnitas Accupolco. Yummy pork roast smothered in grilled onions & queso blanco. Taste like a giant Mexican cheese steak. Always lots left to take home for later.

Just a little out of the way hole in the wall that serves awesome food. We always get the fajitas for two. The food is served in a matter of minutes. The service is excellent, and there are margarita specials all week long. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

How is it possible this place got such high reviews? I got the seafood Acapulco and it was just frozen vegetables thawed on a plate with a dry piece of tilapia and a few grilled shrimp on top and the whole thing covered in cheese. The margarita was straight up tequila with a splash of lime for color. The worst part is everything, including our appetizers and the other meals at the table were incredibly salty, like borderline inedible. It also cost close to $60 for three people. Save your money.

Bug in our food, then they tried to only take off $1.50 from that dish because they remade the food. Very disappointed. Have been going there for years. Will not be going back and sharing this information with others. Horrible customer service on top of having a bug in our food.

If you like Mexican food, you'll like this place. Great service, menu selections and obviously great food. Don't forget the margaritas! (They even have a giant size one.) Family friendly and also good for dates. Outside seating is a plus. The portions are large, so bring your appetite.

This restaurant was so good,. I was expecting a chicken spinach flat quesadilla but I received this huge quesadilla with spinach and chicken and the thickness of it was about an inch thick of meat and goodness it was awesome and I think I paid 6 bucks so yes this place rocks

Have always loved Acapulco until tonight. I get the same thing every time Pollo Loco. Theeee was hardly any onion or mushroom on it and the chicken was rubbery. Couldn’t even cut it. Waiter comes over and I tell him politely that the chicken is rubbery and he says you don’t like it, I said I do like the dish but this isn’t right. Thinking he is going back to have a new one made. So i wait and wait and he comes back to table and i asked about my food and he says oh they are making it and walks out. Then out comes manager and says to me what did you not like. So I explained again and he tells me well it will be the same way even if we make a new one. Really? So I said I didn’t want anything and he walks off shaking his head at me. Not to mention my daughter ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla and she gets a damn tortilla with huge chunks of chicken and no cheese. Manager was rude as hell. Won’t be back again. Just lost a long time customer. Very disappointing.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in the tri state area. We will drive for miles to get Acapulco’s in Lawrenceburg. Staff is great and generous with everything. Wonderful complimentary chips and salsa. Queso and guacamole are the best part of the meal. Five stars just for that and their margaritas. Specials daily for beer and margs. Turned into a small chain, but this one is one of the originals and is phenomenal! Highly recommend at least a try.

The food was great, but the service was even better. Everyone was warm and friendly. The customary chips and salsa were a nice surprise. The cops were warm and fresh and the salsa had a nice spicy kick. I had the tacos carne asada. The steak was delicious. The best part was the pickled onions. The corn tortillas were very good and didn't fall apart. They were grilled so the edges were crispy and the middle was warm. The tomatillo sauce that came with it was so good. It had just a little heat. Overall my experience was really good. The food was well above average, the atmosphere was welcoming and clean, and the service was outstanding. You won't be sorry you tried Acapulco"s.

We love this place! We've been coming here for years. The owners are awesome, the servers are super friendly and the bartenders don't skimp on the alcohol. We like to sit outside on the patio in the summer. We'll be coming here as long as they'll have us. Five stars, for sure!
