I have dined at this restaurant every week for 6+ years while in Chicago on business. In one menu change they have managed to cut their product offerings by nearly 50%, eliminating favorites that brought myself and dozens of co-workers here weekly. Tonight, four of us sat down and realized all of our favorites have been eliminated...we quickly came to the conclusion that the remaining options could be had at other locations actually known for these entrees (Gibson’s for the tomahawk steak...) we politely informed our server and took our business elsewhere. Very disappointed in this change. I’ll miss this place and the food only they used to offer.

The staff at Weber grill Chicago was very professional and provided great customer service. The food was very good, steak very tender, Korean chicken and vegetables was very tasty and the warm pretzel bread and onion butter very very good. Our family had a wonderful experience at Weber Grill.

I ordered their black angus meatloaf based off a recommendation and it surely exceeded expectations. The meatloaf was flavourful, juicy, and perfectly grilled. The mashed potatoes that came with it was buttery soft, and although I’m not into beans, the garlic herb beans were something I would order again and again. It is truly the perfect combo. The service was also outstanding. I will definitely revisit when I’m in town!

I visited on April 12th, 2019. Our experience started off to a VERY sour start when the hostess told us there would be a “15 minute wait” when we clearly saw that the restaurant was not busy, slow even, and the kitchen seemed calm is if there was no wait needed. She was very rude, snarky even to us and ignored us. We sat over at the bar and told the bartender of what the hostess said and told us that was incorrect and he got us seated almost immediately.... I wish I could’ve gotten the hostess name, very rude. The food was semi worth the bad encounter. However, the chicken was a little pink on the inside. And the fries came with no ketchup but I remember last time I received ketchup without asking.. Moreover, they updated their menu. With less selections but more of their classics. Their desert many was very slim and bathrooms were small.

If I could give half stars, I'd give 4.5. The food was very good. Ribs were amazing. Great flavor and they fall off the bone. The service was wonderful as well. Our server Mike was great. The brisket was delicious and the portion was very generous. I had the steak frites and I wasn't really impressed. Maybe it was the sauce, but it didn't have that great steakhouse taste. I would go back to try the filet or some other steak. The caramel apple pie was amazing!

Came here from nearby Homewood Suites. We were able to be seated immediately. Straightforward food was good, and a decent value. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The brisket dish was very good and in a large portion. Sides were good. Very satisfied and would return.

We went on a Friday at around 5 and it wasn't busy. It did start getting busy soon after. The food is pretty expensive but very good. Our kids are older now so we only eat free breakfast and dinner when we are on vacation. I had the salmon(only came with a veg.) and it was the best salmon I have ever had. Everyone else at our table liked their food also.

I called Monday, August 5th, to make a reservation. The website gives instruction that I need to call in order to make one it the group is over a certain amount. I do not remember the young girls name I spoke with but she confirmed my phone number and my first name. The reservation was for 7:30pm August 7th. Fast forward to Wednesday, my birthday, August 7th. I called because I was running 10 mins late and asked could I move it back until 7:45pm. The woman I spoke with on the phone was Melinda. She was very rude and did not give me any resolution. She talked to me as if I was lying. Once I got there, my friend was talking to her. I walked up, explained everything to her and gave me the same tone she used on the phone, very curt and dry. She stated that we had to wait for another table for almost an hour. When my friend was speaking with her, she walked off mid conversation with a nasty attitude. I’m not sure what her issue was but I was the one being inconvenienced. I was willing to get the issue resolved but I did not like her attitude. I don’t even make reviews but I had to this time. She ruined my birthday. Left the hostess to do HER job which was to make me comfortable. I appreciate the two ladies that were being hostess that night. I didn’t catch their names BUT they were so nice. There was another woman who was a nice as well. She smiled at us & seated us. The waiter, Jason, was funny, attentive and made my night. That is the ONLY reason I have 2 stars. Melinda needs to work on her customer service & how she talks to people. Almost makes me not want to come back. Please get her together.

You can see over the state and others. If you are snapped by staff prepare $40 and above to collect your print. Nobody will tell u before hand. Otherwise use your phone n camera for free.

Great service. Dinner here was fantastic and late night at the bar is fun. Free Breakfast buffet with your stay at the Hilton is not great, everything on the buffet was cold. Go for something freshly made like french toast or omlet, unless you enjoy cold eggs and cold sausage. Oh and if you sit outside, you get harassed by homeless people.

We had a good time at Weber Grill. I liked most of what I ordered. Some things I liked more than others. For example, the ribs were great! The sides like the baked beans and coleslaw weren't very tasty to me. The service was very good. Staff were very accommodating about the fact that we brought a one-year-old who liked to see food on the floor. We would definitely go back. It is very spacious with a warm, family friendly atmosphere.

We were attracted by the giant red Weber BBQ outside, which we saw from our cab from the airport and booked for Sunday lunch. It was quite quiet when we got there and we were given a nice booth table and menus. We ordered drinks and food quickly: Weber beer and a glass of Pinot Grigio. The soup of the day was chicken and vegetables which was very good and we had the cedar plank salmon and the beer can chicken to follow and a side of fries. The food was very good. Service was efficient if not particularly friendly and it cost a reasonable $90 plus tip.

Let's talk about the Korean Rice Bowl. It packs some heat. And can fill you up too. I ordered this with the siracha on the side because I'm not all that into Hot. But a little spice is ok. I did not realize it comes cooked/grilled in a spicy mix thst includes siracha. After 3 or 4 bites my mouth was sending stop eating signals. I broke out in a heat blooming sweat that can only be compared to a hot flash. If you're a guy and experience the heat tingling through you that's the same feeling as a hot flash. Flashes just last longer and don't come with savory tastes. I had to send it back and get it made without the sauce. I realized that others might not think this is spicy but if you think mild salsa has some kick then you are just like me. All in all it came back out without any sauces and was great. Staff and managers were wonderful. Will be back with clients in tow.

Great steaks and sides. Servers are helpful, friendly and attentive. Or steaks were perfectly covered as ordered. The place is clean and the food was fresh. Prices are on the high side, but worth it for the quality.

Thier steaks are bit over priced for the cuts you get (my fiance didn't enjoy his as much atls Texas roadhouse) but the brisket was amazing and came with 2 sides for around $21. Our server Jenny was super nice and sweet! Would definitely come here again.

Food was great. Pork chops were cooked just right and the garlic mashed potatoes are spot on! Only com to the meal was the waitress not being on top of her game. A few things left out that we had asked for and not being very attentive. Otherwise Weber steakhouse was a hit and if we are in Chicago again we'll definitely be coming back!

Got filet mignon, was just ok, but I did not have the butter or whatever they usually put on it. Was a little disappointed that the waitress said I could pick from any side instead of the potatoes it came with but failed to tell me I would be charged and additional 8.00 with no credit for what I didnt get.

Had a reservation for 11:30pm. Arrive there they say they don't have any reservations, show them the confirmation they then decide to sit us but informs us the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. It was obvious the food was rushed. Macaroni & Cheese was soupy and the toppings were burnt. Salmon was cooked too fast the Bourbon sauce on the wood plank was black and bubbling causing an awful burnt odor. Server took my plate away and I was still eating. Everyone in the restaurant was rushing to go home and running around like maniacs. They were rushing me so fast that they made me forget my $20 birthday coupon. Smh

Normally love Webber Grill this one is the worst. Sit in the bar pre rush hour for an 10 minutes. Hate to pass on a Rib-eye but will not tolerate such bad service.

Steak was cooked perfectly. However it tasted no different from golden coral other than the cut of meat. There was absolutely no seasoning. The brisket was a lil bit dry but tasted ok. Asparagus was extra stiff( unless you like it like that) service was good

This was very close to our hotel and across the street from the RedLine "L" stop so we stopped for cocktails before boarding the train to Wrigley Field on 2 different occasions last weekend. Friendly and cozy bar area with lovely bartenders who made amazing "Black Manhattans" highly recommended, and good and crisp skinny fries as well!

Tender steak! I came across this restaurant while I was in Chicago. I assumed their grilling was going to be superb. I ordered a 10oz fillet mignon medium well. Half of my steak was perfectly cooked and half was medium rare. The steak was one of the most tender I have ever had. I looked at other tables and the BBQ looks great too.

Went for their Sunday all you can eat breakfast buffet and it was absolutely delicious. They have made to order pancakes, French toast, and omelettes. Plus serve your own thick applewood bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bagels, pastries and cereal. Food was delicious and our server was super friendly and prompt. I also loved their heat lamps were grill covers!

The person I was with ordered the porkchop and was told by the server that it’s a terrible option and is always dry, so he’d encourage her to get something else on the menu. WELL, talk about a red flag. The good was mediocre - I could have gotten a better steak at Texas Roadhouse for a fraction of the cost.

The manager Melinda is rude we showed up for a reservations only to find out they never booked it. When speaking with the manager she walked away mid conversation only to leave the hostess to figure something out. I felt as if my friends and I was discriminated against due to our race. They had us wait over an hour stating that they had no open tables for a large party only to find out when we were seated the entire back of the restaurant was empty. I will never dine at this establishment ever again nor any of their other restaurants. Melinda never came over to apologize to my friend for the mishap on her birthday nor did she ever acknowledge us at any point. I have been to a many of restaurants in my life time and have also been a chef this restaurant has completely discouraged me from ever attending no matter what the cause may be. I hope they look into this establishment and make some changes going fourth because they are truly in for a downfall.

Fresh, grilled food. Clean atmosphere. Family friendly. My friend is a Weber grill “snob”, this was his first visit to one of their restaurants. He felt it was a treat to have someone else do all the fine grilling! He had a shrimp dish, I had a grilled crab cake with the soup of the day, beer-butt chicken chili. Yum! This was a great overall dining experience. Service was solid throughout the night . . . beginning with the hostess, and continuing with the server and delivery of our meals. The food tasted great, and was definitely taken to the next level with the charcoal flavor. I love getting the chance to dine here whenever I'm in town.

My husband and I went here on a whim. We are sure glad we did. My husband ordered the brisket. The brisket was excellent and he was given a very healthy portion of it. I ordered the beer can chicken. It was probably some of the best chicken I have ever had. It was juicy and had an excellent flavor. The service was also great. Glad we tried it out.

Welcoming, attentive. I was hungry for a juicy steak but have to admit that my steak was flavorful but a bit dry. The brussel sprouts were interesting & tasty. You can choose to eat inside or out on patio. Moderately priced; worth a visit.

The food sucks! The appetizer was cold and the jerk chicken skewers didn't even taste like jerk. The shrimp had a burnt grill flavor. The water came in a bottle and it was tap water. We talked to the manager and they redid our order and it still was horrible. Overall I just didn't or my date didn't enjoy any of the food not even the salad. Definitely wouldn't recommend this location

Visiting Chicago for a work conference and this place was recommended to us. I was excited because being from the South barbecue is one of our staples. We had about an hour for lunch and the place was pretty slow. First impressions was ok because no one was at the hostess podium but they responded in about a minute to seat us. Mind you, I had a reservation, which was clearly not needed. Our waiter however was polite and courteous and made some suggestions.We placed our order at 12:10 and by 12:58 we were asking questions. The sampler was very good, grilled shrimp, bbq chicken skewers, and spicy ribs. Our entrees were, let's say, not impressive. Long story short...they apologized and made excuses on the speed of service and blamed us getting our orders out late due to what time the waiter sent the order back. Do I reccomend, yes, if you don't have anything to do and don't order the fish.

My family loves the Weber Grill. The food is pretty good, I honestly don't feel like it is anything special though. That is with the exception of the pretzel rolls. Those are amazing. I have also never had a bad experience with the service at the Weber Grill. The wait staff has never been short of excellent in my experience.

This is a super cool restaurant. Everything is cooked on a larger version of a Weber grill you would have in your back yard. Service was top notch and so was the food. My New York strip was grilled to perfection and so was my wife’s Salmon. We will be coming back here the next time we take a trip to Chicago.

I have eight everywhere all over Chicago for the better part of two decades and Weber grill will always be one of my favorite spots in the city. We decided to have our engagement party there and there was not one complaint about the food. Everyone loved it. And I do recommend starting off with a sampler which I attached pictures of below it is a fantastic way to start your meal.

I feel like a restaurant in that area should be able to handle a busy Saturday night without me having to wait 90 minutes for my food. I didn't feel it was overly crowded, and we only waited 20 minutes for a table. Other tables seated after us and ate before we did. Food came out hot though.

Upon opening the door to Weber grill, I was overcome with a sense of belonging like visiting an old friend on an autumn day. While I waited for my table to be cleared for seating, the rustic yet elegant ambience welcomed me as my kind mother into my childhood home; the warmth of dinner rolls baking in the oven covers me like an heirloom quilt. After being seated our server appeared, her voice still echos in my mind. With a twinkle in her eye she said “Hello my name is Erin, how’s everyone doing tonight? Can I get you started with some drinks?” This familiar and personal introduction gave me a shock, “Had I seen her in a dream?” I thought. No, but her ethereal presence was effervescent ; inevitable yet surprising. The next few minutes were magical, first she brought cool water, then salt covered pretzel buns with an array of butters, and as the main course arrived at our table I thought, is there anything Erin can’t do? The time spent between ordering and receiving my my meal I did not wait for the dish but for Erin. After finishing the last bite of my meal she appeared again like a mirage in the desert, “How was everything? Will you be needing a box to take any of this to go?” I chuckled lightly as I shook my head. “To go? I’m already home.” Word count: 234

I used to rate this place a 5 stars. Now I have to give it 4 stars due to the changes they have done over the year. For starters, when ordering a steak you used to get a side. Now you have to order a side in addition to your steak. Also, before they used to give out bread to tables without asking. Now they tell us that bread is available upon request. Unless it's stated clearly on the menu, we were never offered bread. We only asked because we knew they used to do that. Hope they revert back to their original policies. Would gladly give a 5 star rating again.

We only went to the bar area to have drinks here. As regulars at the St Louis location, we saw that the menu is the same. But we had a great time talking with our server, Veselin, practically reminiscing about menu changes over the years. Anyway, he took care of us, making sure drinks were refilled and getting me a small piece of cake for my birthday celebration.

I love this place whenever we have a visitors from other cities, we bring them here for nice steak. They are connected to the subway, they grill the steak on the huge Weber grill they you can see directly grilling over the counter. I think 32 dollars New York strip is very reasonable and nice choice. It's nicely ages and not too soft or hard. I love their kid's menu too. Recommend medium for the kid's burger, when I asked well done, it was so burnt it tasted like a coal. Wish they had more beer selections.

Went to this place for Dinner. Good food decent prices but service was horrible. Was given device for seating but never went off after waiting a long time had to be seated after addressing the issue. Once seated gave menu order to waiter and restaurant ran out of brisket had to get different order. Table water smelled like they fished it out of a pool due to heavy chlorinated taste and smell. Bar water was way better. Ordered dessert and waiter missed an order so. go on a very slow bite if possible

I enjoyed eating here. The salmon was well-seasoned and not overcooked. My husband enjoy the beer chicken. The barbecue ribs were a hit. We all enjoyed the crab cake, which came with some nicely grilled sweet corn. Many of the items had a nice grilled flavor to them. There's a lot of great food here, and it's a very nice place for family and friends.

I know what you're thinking. Weber Grill, some mediocre steakhouse for business travelers and tourists. I was pleasantly surprised by their sweet potatoes and veggies as well as their expertly prepared meats. That paired with the variety of spaces, from bar seating to kitchen booths to plush private dining, it's a solid all-around pick. One thing lost them a star: the desserts are lack luster, not nearly as well crafted as the more savory dishes, an afterthought. The 'bourbon' caramel was pale and lacking a smokiness that can really make a dessert shine.

They only use weber grills which was surprising! The food is well prepared and the service is attentive. Though they have a ventilation system every once in a while you get a lot of smoke, granted, it smells great but you might not want that.

This restaurant is nothing short of excellent! One of the best baby back ribs I've ever had and excellent french fries. 10 oz filet mignon was also excellent and cooked to perfection when asking for medium. Highly recommend!

The food was extraordinary, we ordered the tbone steak, sauteed spinach, loaded mash potatoes, asparagus, mac & cheese and ribs. They definitely gave us nice portions. When i visit Chicago again this will be one of the first places i visit.

Completely over priced and under delivered. Fries seemed to have used old oil. Burger supposedly had a brioche bun, but it was so soggy on the base and not toasted either side. Surely you would expect a toasted brioche bun for that price and not a completely soggy, oily burger. One table seemed to have had special treatment where they got a table cloth and others didn’t. At the same table they also wore short sleeved T-shirt’s, yet at the front desk they told us that long sleeves were required. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone. Our waitress was very nice though.

We went to the Weber Grill restaurant as more of a campy experience than really expecting great food. Guess what, the food was actually quite delicious. The bloody Mary was spicy and had excellent flavor. The grilled shrimp dish I ordered came out with a wonderful presentation. The end of the wooden stick was charred letting me know the grill was hot. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. The sauce was the only short spot as it was weak in so much as no real flavor stood out. Our server was amazing. Attentive and when he discovered my wife had a bit of a hangover, brought out a ginger ale which was really sweet of him. I would most certainly recommend.

Directly in the city, not expensive, super service. As foreigners, they provided us with a mobile router for having internet all day. Coffee or tea free to your room in the morning.

Truly disappointing. I'd been wanting to eat here on my many trips to Chicago and I finally got my chance and what a disappointment. First of all, I was with a party of 15 and they only gave us one waiter who seemed to be more interested in the party of 4 he was serving at the table behind us which made his service super slow. My sister ordered an appetizer and after 20 minutes he admitted that he forgot to put the order in. Secondly, we had to ask for rolls which had to be sent back because they were rock hard. My salad was watery and I had to ask twice for croutons (mind you, the place was nowhere near full). I had him take it back and he didn't even take it off the bill. Now let's talk about the food. The ribs were excellent, but I've had better burgers out of a vending machine and the chili and cornbread tasted like cafeteria food. With a name like Weber Grill I expected better. Definitely not worth the wait.

The food was awesome!!! Finally found a steak my girlfriend loved and the pork chops were the best I ever had. My server was the best. It was very busy so that told me a lot about the place before I went in.
