Definitely better than traxx :) at traxx you gotta drink before the food taste good. USA family restaurant is a great lil place to stop and get a feel for the towns history and see the people that occupy it. Sundays lemon rice soup is our fave! They have the best rolls! My wife grew up here. Im glad she showed me her hometown and this awesome lil corn hick towns num 1 restaurant.

This restaurant would've gotten a 4- or 5-star review, because the Reuben sandwich and potato salad was really yummy, but we were displeased with the steak fajitas. The meat was tough, and the meal came with only three tortillas, which was significantly disproportionate to the amount of fajitas on the plate. We asked for more and the waitress brought them, but neglected to mention that there was a charge for extra tortillas. We have never dined at a restaurant that not only doesn't provide all that you need for the entree, but also charges extra when you ask for it. Furthermore, this meal comes with chips and salsa, which we declined, so they saved money there. While the charge was only $1.69, the principle of the matter is that a meal should include all the necessary side items that accompany it. If you eat here, be sure to ask about hidden charges before you order.

We asked for the chicken (unlimited). I was told it would take about 30 to 45 minutes, then about 5 minutes later they brought a plate of chicken that looked and tasted like it was a week old. It was so dry, gray, and shriveled that there was no more than one nibble of chicken on each piece. I've had similar experiences on prior trips.

The food is great, the service is great, it is amazing. On the menu they have Mexican food, many breakfasts, lunch, dinner, soup, and more. It also has a children's menu as well. Entertainment for kids can be the trains that come by every so often out the windows. Great place!

I really enjoy this place, the waitresses are nice you can seat yourself. I work across the street from here. I fell in love with the Dagwood burger, I always add bacon and they put three large strips on it. Recently had the Apple crepes. I haven't even seen it offered at any other resturant I am not a fan of the crepes but I'm a little picky when it comes to food. I really enjoyed the filling though! I don't think that'll discourage me from coming here and ordering it again.

Nice small town restaurant that has soups that go great with the dinner rolls they also serve (I usually ask for extra). It's a perfect place for a family meal. I'm a fan of their burgers, but they make so much more. My only warning is to make sure you save some room for dessert.

Haven't been back here for two years because of getting undercooked American fried potatoes. Told wife let's try it Sunday after church. Ordered hash browns instead of American fries. How can you mess up hash browns right? Today, I found out you can. Not browned anywhere and more like greasy warmed up gummy worms. Terrible.

It is a nice Hometown homegrown type of restaurant. Uour treated here like family not like a customer. As a truck driver, I don't run into many places that not only will give you a good size portions of food, they will make you feel relaxed and at home.

My family and I ate here for lunch because it was the closest restaurant from the hotel we are staying in here in USA for our family's summer vacation. The place felt cozy, the staff were nice and they have a variety of food to choose from. They have a menu for the adults and a separate menu for the kids. It is not modernized which is a good thing because the place gives out a home-like vibe. It just needs a little maintaining specially the floors and the comfort room but other than that I'd still go back for lunch tomorrow because of how delicious their food is.

Quaint diner in the heart of Grant Park. Expansive menu with many choices to suit any palate. The owner George is a great guy, very engaging - cares about his customers’ satisfaction. This is a country breakfast/lunch joint so don’t expect any frills or fancy stuff - just some quality fair to fill your gullet and you won’t be disappointed. PS - AT&T mobile has absolutely zero reception here and most of down town GP. May be a plus or a negative depending on what you have going on but the lack of any signal always makes me anxious just FYI for the business folks.
