As the name suggests. It is untitled and easy to miss from the outside. Down a stairwell and you end up in an incredible underground whiskey club. Incredible selection of whiskey. The staff was friendly and so helpful. Our server was down to earth and very knowledgeable.

I can't speak to the food here, but I've always enjoyed the bar for the drinks, live music and overall atmosphere. There are different rooms with different themes downstairs, so after the dinner crowd leaves each room has it's own experience. The drinks are usually very good as well, moreso in the library rooms than the main venue area. Check out this place if you're looking for a fun evening!

Exceptional reception, attentive table service! Great live Blues band, our night. Sensual burlesque in-between the set breaks. Went June 8th (for my bday, and although it's in the basement, the room was very cool (temperature wise). Food was great, drinks could be a bit stronger, but were tasty. Ladies room has an attendant (so bring singles). We found parking on Kinzie, we fed the meter twice. We actually read the website, so we knew the dress code and had zero problems. Can wait to return again!

Visited their Monday blues night and it was just great. The band sounded really nice and because it's Monday - not too crowded. If you sit in the same room with the band it's hard to talk but you can really enjoy the music. Otherwise if you wanna chat and have the music on the background there are many other rooms. Food and drinks are delicious and look exquisite. Can't wait to go back there for the weekly Thursday show

Show was great. Drinks a bit expensive. Just make sure if you have reservations, and there is entertainment that you want to see, you make it in the show area. We were in the cabana which was awesome for dinner but when show started we had to go stand in the other room to watch it. No seats unless you luck out at the bar because the tables are for people with reservations for dinner in that area. So we ended up standing from 8pm to 11pm against the wall to listen to the show. Food was delicious. Just disappointed there was no way to accommodate others who have eaten somewhere else in the restaurant. Side.note: it was 12 of us too....

The preeminent Chicago experience for dinner, entertainment, and (later in the evening) hot DJs and a killer dance floor. A whiskey library with over 500+ different whiskeys. A weekly Thursday cabaret show. A Michelin Bib Gourmand rated menu. And best of all, a cool, slick speakeasy vibe. I've been all over Chicago and I always come back to Untitled.

Came here for my husband's birthday dinner. They had a live show, we were able to take our one year old daughter. It was kid friendly, but we were the only ones who couldn't get a sitter that night (only ones with a kid lol). The food was delicious!!

It's a really impressive place - the size and decor are high taste. A great place to bring people from outside of Chicago. The prices are high, but sitting down to watch the music was free. My biggest complaint is it's always really, really loud. Not great for getting to know somebody new.

Really, really, really good. Did I say really good? Everything was delicious. My only downside was the cheese tray was a bit sparse but otherwise the portions were reasonable, the service was top notch and despite not seeing any other children ours both under 10, were treated very well including a full tour of the facility including the VIP areas. The live music was excellent and the atmosphere spot on. And wait, did I day really good?

Walking through nondescript doors on Kinzie Street in the River North neighborhood, you are transported to an underground speakeasy and restaurant. The bar itself is lined with 4 shelves tall of various bottles of whiskey. The bartender made it a work of art mixing and shaking the different varieties of craft cocktails on their menu. It was a treat to watch him work his craft. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to try their menu. I will definitely come back to do so.

For the past 2 years we had our company holiday party at Untitled. They were shockingly great. I had mixed expectations going into the event but was blown away by the venue and food. Super fun club with different styles of music in each room. Food was delicious albeit pricey. Beautiful layout. Only downside was that it was my sisters bachelorette and they enforced the dress code so she had to leave her veil at door (they noticed the sash at dinner and made her remove it). It was nothing obnoxious or crude, just a sash saying bachelorette so it seemed a little silly to make her remove it, but they weren't rude at all about it. Would definitely go again.

It was okay. I know some people will say this is their favorite bar. And they have every reason to love it. Me, I didn't care for the art decor motif. I also didn't like how low the lights were. I'm an old man and can't read very well by candlelight. They do have an excellent selection of whiskeys. If you are in Chicago and wanting to drink whiskey in a low lighted area, stop on by. Just because it wasn't my kind of place doesn't mean it won't be your kind of place.

One of the most fun places for a night out in Chicago. Excellent food, a huge whiskey selection, 5 different bars and live music with a tease of burlesque between sets. Our group luckily found a table that someone never showed up for...make a reservation if you know you will end up there. Fun for all ages and a very diverse crowd. Prices are great considering the venue.

Really cool speakeasy atmosphere. Usually there is live music and then it changes to a dance floor late at night. There are areas you can sit in booths away from the music if you want to be able to hear what your friends are saying. Drinks are good but pretty expensive ($12 or $13) and the food I've tried was pretty tasty.

Door staff was really cool. Told me they shouldn’t let me in because I had a T-shirt. Upon Entering half the people in this place had T-shirt’s on. Ok. No big deal. But the food was absolute garbage and I felt like I was in a run down club from 2007. I would recommend this place after you’ve got completely hammered somewhere else.

Damn, where to begin.... First time here was an amazing experience. Its definitely a hidden gem, almost walked right past it. Your greeted by 2 big wooden doors, once inside you walk down a staircase into this relaxing atmosphere with very dimmed lighting. Every table had a single small candle as a light source. Whiskey menu was massive. For starters, the pretzel, had a horseradish sauce, cheese cup,and I would assume a cheddar style butter(not sure) everything was great. Dinner, a melt in your mouth lamb t bone. I mean WOW, that's lamb. As for the live music part, Breezy Rodio, a combination of soul, jazz, and swing. Outstanding performance, if I lived in the city, I would be a regular. Price..... expensive but I did not care.

Loved the whisky bar. We were here during a burlesque evening. Somewhat pricy, but probably par for the course - $160 for 9 servings of whisky. I hated the enforced bag check plus costs, where they don’t take card - that’s ridiculous. Also hate the person at the bathroom trying to sell stuff - I can get my own piece of paper, thank you very much.

What a blast! The title of the place makes you wonder if it's a piece of artwork. Very lavish interior, accessible bathrooms, and separated dining and dancing areas later at night. It got quite hot since there were lots of bodies moving around, but it was still a fun time. Classy without any fratty rowdiness though I only went the one night.

Late night conversation inviting lighting, an extensive collection of various brands of whiskey and tequila, and sample bites being offered every 30 seconds or so made for an entertaining environment filled with an exhilarating experience where people can enjoy themselves and let go of themselves within reason. Went for a burlseque show and it was awesome. The staff was super friendly and the service was great. Drinks were delicious. The food I give 4 stars but only because some flavors were not the best and I didn't like the the oyster rockefeller were fried and a lower quality type of fried. The flaming dessert is a little too boozy but give points for presentation. But it was all still good and enjoyable. Atmosphere, experience and staff made up for the lack in harmonious flavors

Bartenders need to be trained on first come first serve principle. There is quite a bit of favoring of quicker service of white customers than any other. We tried an experiment where I a brown guy was waiting for 20 min for service. I swapped myself with my American friend who with my card was serviced with our order in less than 5 min. And I am not exaggerating, we did this real time... Way to go Untitled!!!!

We have been going to Untitled for years for the whiskey library, live music, and great apps! Recently we have been going due to the team as well! Everyone from the door manager Danny, floor manager Cynthia, and the GM Jake is amazing! We had an event on 3/23 that they accommodated for us on the fly. Our original reservation at a bar around the corner totally blew us off. When we arrived at the door of Untitled asking for availability Danny jumped into action and Cynthia and her team made us welcome and comfortable the entire night! As an industry employee myself, I recognize great hospitality when I see it and will continue to recommend this place to everyone that asks for dinner, drinks, and dancing!

Came here to grab a quick bite on a Monday evening. This review is based on the food and atmosphere. Originally ordered the short ribs and scallop, but they were all out. So the next best was the lamb t-bone which was tough as leather to cut through let alone eat (even after asking for a steak knife) and too heavy on the salt. I left half of the meal and left disappointed. Maybe a great place to grab a drink, but the entree was a bomb.

We attended the Unbridled Thursday night show and it was incredible. We reserved an unobstructed parlor table for dinner and the food was a la carte style. Large plates are main meal and small plates are like sides or appetizers. The extensive whiskey selection was intriguing and we tried a favorite flight and a cocktail of the month; both wonderful. The show was incredible. The burlesque style show was so cool to watch and the performers talents were amazing. We definitely will be coming back.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it may be the worst one I've ever had but they also have Brenne (French Single Malt Whiskey) which is incredibly rare. Also, the crowd is not really my vibe. But I'm interested in coming back to try their dinner menu. It looks delicious and their kitchen is open till 12am with the full menu! That's awesome!

Untitled is a very upscale restaurant/bar/lounge. It has several different rooms, where DJs maybe playing different types of music or not. It's very versatile. The decor is eclectic, with very nice and very large paintings of a by gone era. There's one somewhat haunting painting of Al Capone, that really seems to have captured his essence. Some rooms have standing tables and large open booths with very comfortable chairs and couches, whereas another has closed booths with privacy curtains and large dance areas. Another room has standard tables and chairs and a somewhat balcony area. They have different things going on, on different nights. The scene ranges from live bands and shows, to very urban music and aerialists performing on a curtain hanging from the ceiling. Although the prices are not what you'd call economical, they're not bad at all for a downtown venue. I feel very comfortable recommending this place. The reason I didn't give a five star review, came from the only negative thing that I found. One particular bearded bartender did overcharge me. He charged me two dollars more for the same drinks that I'd gotten from another bartender. He then later charged me one dollar more than before, for the same drink. I didn't worry about the first time, out of fear that the first bartender might have undercharged me, but I had to call him out on the second infraction. He refunded me the dollar and said that it wasn't intentional, so I didn't see the point of making a bigger deal of it. This shouldn't sway anyone from attending this wonderful establishment.

I made a reservation for my niece and her friends this past Saturday. She just turned 21 and I wanted her experience at Untitled to be memorable. I spoke to a Mgr who informed me that the photographer I hired could take pictures in the dinning room as long as it does not create a distraction to other guests. Well the photographer was approached by the GM who informed him that he couldn’t take any photos in the dinning room although we had received the green light. He then said in a harsh voice that if he sees him taking pictures he will confiscate his camera. The GM never bothered to go over the procedure with me nor did he ask who we spoke with. He handled the situation poorly and made a smart remark towards me. I’ve dined here for my birthday in the past and used the same photographer who took photos in the dinning room without any pushback. I also came 2 months ago for the live entertainment . The only reason why this place received 3 stars instead of none is because of the managers Davie and Andrew. They were very kind, understanding, apologetic and professional. I hope the GM can take a page out of their book.

Heard about this place and we were really excited to go. We built our entire evening around going here for the food, fun and seemingly open mindedness of the place. Here is exactly what happened. We approached the door at 111 West Kinzie, and several young and fun folks streamed through the door just before us down to the happenings below. Not one was even restrained for a second. As I and my wife approached two large men blocked us with their very large ham hocks, and immediately told us the place was full. No wait list, no explanation, but it was very obvious. We were just too old to enter. Not to worry Untitled, your place is really cool and hip; good luck with that.

DO NOT GO HERE. I've never been treated more rude at a restaurant after just spending hundreds of dollars to have a meal there. The manager took the barstools away from my wife and our friend while they were sitting at the bar after dinner and then place two security guards right behind us that followed us all the way to the street when we left. There was absolutely no reason for this. Apparently they didn't want us in their establishment anymore spending money. Find a different place in Chicago. There are much better options available. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

1st time in a upscale supper club, the food was excellent. Crispy pork ribs as an appetizer and rib eye for the main course cooked perfectly. Whiskey was great too. We really went for the burlesque show on Thursday night and we were not disappointed, it was a great evening for our first night in Chicago.

I'm not much of a clubber so this place was the best of both worlds. They have a chill area, although the music's pretty loud so I can't say how chill most people will find it. There was an area for people who enjoy music from the late 80s and 90s. And the main area is for the current era of music. That area is also where you buy food. The drinks were good with a nice alcohol/chaser ratio. This was my second visit.
