Old world charm, Hogwards look with crests from all Ivy league schools, beautiful library, TV room and overall one feels being time traveled to the past (except the launch with the over dimensional TVs). Incredible background for events. Excellent food and service.

Hands down, some of the most unprofessional and rude staff I've ever met. Steve Bacigalupo and the almighty "banquet manager" acted like they were royalty and treated people like they were sub human. I would highly recommend choosing another venue for you even.

Country Club in the city minus the golf course (although they do have an indoor golf simulator!). Top notch staff and prestine facilities. If you're looking to join a club for networking purposes then this is for you. Enjoy a tour and a comped lunch to check out the diggs before joining! Oh, also, they have one of, if not the best, views of Millennium Park and Lake Michigan!

Elegance and class through and through. I was here to conduct a presentation along side others in one of their conference/ballrooms. The ceilings are 30 feet high and the lighting is exquisite. We stayed in the Court Yard room and it was absolutely deplorable. I am even more shocked to read that these rooms have been renovated. We complained when we checked out a day early and our complaint was "noted". Our heat did not work, the water temperature in the shower was faulty, the sheets were stinky and old, and it was terribly noisy. This description from the website is absolutely ridiculous. "Our cozy Court Rooms are perfect for members and guests on-the-go with either one queen or one full size bed. They have a frosted glass window with interior views of the building next door (there is no court yard view). " I do not generally post such negative reviews but with an Athletic Club standard expectation we are extremely disappointed. We hope that management reaches out to us directly to discuss as no one was available at the time of our check out.

Great Club right in the city, walking distance from the corporations in the loop, with breathtaking views of Millenium Park and Lake Michigan. I love that they have formal and informal spaces within the club. The informal Living Room is gorgeous as are the formal rooms and decks for dining. Excellent squash programs too!

Without question, the best place to stay in Chicago. Calm, classically beautiful, low-key, with excellent service and food. The terrace and dining room facing East are just lovely. The library is well stocked with books and periodicals, furnished with fat snooze-welcoming leather chairs, well broken-in. This club seems to attract unassuming and quiet guests. No visiting blow-hards here, thankfully.

Overpriced but excellent cocktails. You are paying for the view (excellent), the ambiance (very good), and the location (also very nice). If you need a place to hang out in the east loop this is a decent choice. I wouldn't come here for food though

I am fortunate to have friends who are members. The facilities are beautiful. The architecture that could not be replaced today. The staff is very welcoming. I have been to very good meals, interesting, lectures and enjoyable musical events. A really great place.

I've been a member for 20 years. They have done a lot of renovations in the past year or so. Much more contemporary now. It's a private club, so you have to be a member to get in. Not sure why it's on Google Reviews.
