It was my first time golfing and it was super fun! The process was pretty straightforward and clearly explained by the staff. Once they assign you a bay, you just need to fill up the bucket with golf balls and then you can start playing.

I hosted a friend’s bday party at Top Golf Wood Dale through Kara! Initially I was unsure of whether or not to book, but Kara was amazing at answering all my questions! When we got to the actual event, everything was so well put together and timely. Our serving team, Michael and Roman did an amazing job and Michael himself was an absolute superstar about keeping us in the loop and making sure we always had what we need. His manager Joe was a pleasure to talk to and it was clear how well the team worked together! We had such a blast at our event and I would highly recommend it to others!

This top golf location operates differently than almost any other in the country. I have been to 4 other locations and the quality of the venue and ease of play was indeed superior to this location. I will say that the service was good, the food and drink delicious and the servers were awesome. The ball machine dispenses so slowly it causes a backlog in the entire process. I would give it a 4 stars, but if compared to other locations, 3 stars.

Wait times for a bay are often 30 minutes to an hour or more even when the place is not crowded due to reservations later in the day. The bay usage could be much more efficient. I was told there would be a 30 minute wait and then waited for over an hour to be placed on the far right of the building after walking past numerous empty bays. Reservation prices are also exorbitant considering they do not get you anything except a bay.

I do not like the wait. And the last two times I've been here, I've been told there's a 1.5h to 2h wait and it they've called us in less than 30 minutes with a golf booth available. But, the good and drinks are fabulous. I love hitting golf balls and listening to music and enjoying the company of my friends. Great times!!

When you want to have a great time, Top Golf has it down. Food, drinks and golf, this is an adults playground. You're surrounded by beautiful looking super attentive staff and great atmosphere. Food was delicious and drinks we're always there when you needed them. Don't want to wait for a waitress, head over to their huge bar. The golf games were super exciting. We played almost all of them. If your not into that you can knock'em out and know your distance which is awesome. Would I come back? I can't wait!

I know it's one of the first Top Golf locations, and from what I hear, isn't quite as modern as the newer locations, but it is still fun! I highly recommend their winter league. It is run by a young guy who is really sharp and personable, Joe Calabrese. Joe understands customer service which many companies take for granted. I hope Top Golf understands and appreciates how well he represents the company. Great Job, Joe!!!

It's more of a game than it is a driving range but it's super fun to drink beers and swing a golf club. Especially when some one brings them to you. Good service and a good atmosphere makes for a good time.

I love Topgolf but this location is ancient. You still have to manually load the balls through the scanner and half the time it doesn't work. This location is just an overpriced driving range. I recommend checking out a newer location for the full Topgolf experience.

Visited this place based on my friend's recommendation and I was not disappointed. It is a fun place to hangout with your friends. I have to admit that I never held a golf club before but it was so much fun just swinging it. Our bay was on the top floor and it seemed like the best choice until it started raining. So keep that in mind if you are booking on the top floor. The food and drinks run on the expensive side.

They need to close this location. Everything is run down. The hallway by the elevator smells like body odor on the way to the bar. Which is probably the old carpet that's worn down That smells so bad. That made me sick to my stomach. The bar was out of everything we wanted to order including the souvenior cup that my friend wanted from out of town. Then we went to play mini golf and the green is peeling up. The speakers are awful that play the music. They have stagnant water that is absolute disgusting that is a place for mosquitoes to breed. This place has went downhill so much in only one year. Will never go back.

From the moment we stepped in the door I should have turned around and went home. The employees who take the bay reservations were rude. We explained there were 18 of us and we needed 3 bays next to each other. We were told that may not happen. It wasn’t until we asked the manager who was also rude to place us next to each other. There was one server for our bays, who was overwhelmed. The manager comes to help which made things worst because they were NOT communicating to each other. Somehow the orders were entered in the system incorrectly and people were given the incorrect tabs. The manager proceeds to tell us it is not her or the staffs fault we didn’t receive the correct bills. I have dine & attended many events and never have I had such a lack of customer service, respect, or common courtesy. It is a shame that I have to leave such negative be feedback but this was by far the worst experience I have ever had! Needless to say we will never attend this location again & I will be sure to never have any company functions here with my clients anymore.

Went here mid afternoon on a Monday. Didn't have a reservation but got a bay right away. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. I had previously been to the Vegas location, but my family had never been. He explained everything really well. He even gave us two free games for no reason! Having said that, this place is old, and it shows. All of the bays were just dirty. Mopping the bays, wiping down the screens, maybe replacing the old furniture would go a looong way. Also, the technology needs to be updated. This is a national franchise. You would think they would spend the money to modernize. I probably will not be back to this location and will wait for the Schaumburg spot to open. I really wanted to like it!

They don't take international licenses idk why but maybe need they to update their software to be able to verify someone's ages. It was disappointing for me who is 30 years old not be able to get a beer while my 21 year old cousin was able to because he had an IL iD just a thought to consider

This place is golf heaven. From the service, cleanliness and atmosphere this is fantastic experience. We waited around 45mins for a bay on the upper deck and the staff were more than friendly for the whole experience. While we waited for our bay we had great food and drinks in the beautiful upstairs bar. We don’t have TopGolf in Canada yet but I’m hoping we get it soon!

This place falls short of all the other great Top Golf locations. Facility is not well maintained, technology is outdated (be ready to get your balls from an old school driving range machine) and the service is poor. On the positive side the food was good and the beers were cold. However, having been to Top Golf locations across the country we expected a top notch experience but this well below the standards of the brand.

This is by far the worst top golf I have ever been too. The food was bad, service was bad. The dispensers were broke. All around a terrible experience in a company outing that costs a fair amount of money. There are much better experiences out there. This one is terrible. Avoid it.

I went for the 2nd time ever. The last time I’ve been here was August 2015. The wait was 2 hours on a Saturday at 1:30pm!!! Don’t believe what Google says the wait time usually is; it’s wrong.

Hope you consider this review This is the worst top golf location in the whole franchise If you never visited any other top golf location don’t consider this is the best top golf location ever If you see a 5* review that means they have never visited other locations The difference: 1. All the other locations work on a single membership and this location is separate. Membership taken here doesn’t work at other locations. They cannot find you in the system if you ever loose the membership card 2. After playing several games I have been to the reception to get a print of the score cards Printer doesn’t work is their response. They said they will email but I never got one. 3. You get to play different kind of games (like challenges a lil similar to dart) at all top golfs but here you play only one which was ridiculous 4. Receptionist I spoke to was very rude. Didn’t remember her name anyway. I will visit again because of the food and drinks. The person who served us was very good and communicated damn well. And there are only 2 locations in Chicago I have been to only to this one here. Hope this helps.

I love Top Golf! Absolutely fabulous experience every time I step in this location. Primarily due to the fact that the Event Sales Coordinator, Kara, is phenomenal at her job in literally every aspect. From start to finish she handles each event with perfection & there is never any problems! Next time you're interested in any events at all with this location, ask for Kara, you will not be disappointed.

Was with a small group of 3 people at 4:30 PM. Was told the wait was 30 minutes. Waiting 45 minutes before the party and I went back and asked what the delay was for. They said it was "unexpected company events". When asked for an updated wait time, they said another 45 minutes. I asked how they made their original time estimate, they responded with "I don't know, I just thought it was 30 minutes". Poor management, they only care about company events and not small parties. On top of that, it's overpriced. Tip for those who experience the same, there's a better place at Green Valley Golf Range in Hanover Park (much cheeper and rarely a wait time).

This place is a ton of fun! It's such a great way to get in some practice in a comfortable spot (regardless of the weather) while adding an element is fun. I give it 4 stars cuz the food is ok, but nothing special and we have experienced the odd glitch (a target was down/ not registering last time) though the staff is helpful if you can catch someone.

Went here not knowing what to expect and left completely blown away by the great level of customer service that my group received. All the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. The venue was very well up kept and the pricing was very affordable. Will definitely return in the future after a wonderful experience.

The concept is really good but our experience was problematic. There were technical issues with the ball tagging so half our party didn't get their shots scored. The food was really good but it took a long time to get our order taken and plates/napkins brought.

We went online to book a reservation and there were none available. The website assured us that most of the booths were designated for walk ins and google said the wait time would be 15-30 minutes. We drove 3 hours only to be told that the wait time was 2 1/2 hours. We've been sitting in the bar for over an hour looking at booths that have remained empty the entire time. I will never make this drive again.

Noisy fun atmosphere. Very friendly service. Loaner clubs are not the best, but they're free. If you have clubs bring them. Hit some balls with friends and choose from several game modes. Figure about 3x what you spend per ball at a driving range. Jaime who worked the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

This is the worst Top Golf Location I've ever been to. Your TOP GOLF card and membership will not work here, you'll be forced to buy a new card by the sarcastic millennial working at the counter. She has the worst customer service. Put your phone down for a minute so you can engage the customers as they walk in the door, at least pretend you enjoy working there for our sake. This was Thursday, 2/28, if you're curious. Once we arrived at the bay, we noticed how poorly this place has been maintained. It was absolutely gross. I also noticed there were hardly any clubs and NO drivers. I went down to the front desk to ask why there were no drivers in the bay, she notified us due to the large tear in the fence, we can't hit drivers. Only on ground level she said as she put her phone down. I asked to be placed on ground level and she notified us it was closed. Awesome. Poor experience, poor management, poor customer service. Please go anywhere but here!

Love this Top Golf. This place is great. I recently received some $10 off coupons and we went on a Tuesday which was half price. Since I went on a Tuesday before 12 it was half off of the half off price. The staff was really friendly. James and Sumner were awesome, approachable, and overall very nice. When we went one ball machine was out of order which left three machines. One stopped working while my bucket was filling. They restarted a new bucket for me and We got to keep the other bucket of balls which was about half full.

As the other reviews have mentioned: this location is awful. I can’t even believe it is a top golf! I see that the marketing manager typically replies. My advice to them would be to show up to this location with your family and actually see what it is like. Here is the run down: - The inaccuracy of the balls is around 20%. 1 out of 5 balls won’t actually get scored. - This location hasn’t been updated since it was built; the technology is from the 90s! - The staff are rude, provide slow service, and only try to up-sell. - The bathrooms are disgusting. - The music is so loud that you cannot have a conversation without yelling. - The mini golf is very run down, poorly designed and the water smells horrible. There are hoses laying across the pathways.

It was really fun! However, the lady at the front desk recommended my husband and I share a card (in order to save some $$) but we didn't understand that that would mean my husband or I sitting down for half the game while the rest of our group finished up their turns. I wish this was explained better, but we still enjoyed ourselves. Get each person in your group a card!! It is worth the extra $$!

When we arrived at Topgolf, we were told it would be about an hour wait for a party of 2 and that we were 3rd on the waitlist. At first it didn’t seem like a big deal so we went to the bar and had a drink and an app to kill time. Strike 1: Drink was unpoured, certainly not worth the $, and the pretzel bites came out cold. Strike 2: Fast forward an hour and a half later and we checked back in with the girl operating the front desk to see where we were at and we were told it would be another 45 minutes and we magically went from 3rd to 4th in line. Strike 3: I am a registered member at topgolf through another location and had money on my card expecting to be able to use it today, only to get a long-winded excuse by some high school kid about a system malfunction on their end and that it would be another 20$ in order for me play and because their system is so outdated, they couldn’t even access my original card even if they wanted to. Add that combined with the fact that their whole in-game system looks and operates like Windows 98, and it was the cherry on top of my awful experience here. Overall, terrible management, terrible customer service, and a terrible experience that’s indefensible by every known standard.

Wait time is not 15 minutes. It’s always 2-3hours. They want you to pay the reservation fee of $50 to get in even if the place is empty... it’s a joke. Also, the front desk girls so far have been snobby. Your job is customer service if you don’t like it go work somewhere else. The attitude I received irritated me the most.

First time coming here for a company party. This is a fun and relaxed environment to hang out, hit a few balls, grab some drinks and have fun. We were in the party room downstairs with reserved spaces. The staff was attentive and helpful with drink orders. Food was ok nothing spectacular but I didn’t expect much of that. The golf part was fun- I’ve never been to top golf before and would consider it again. I briefly went upstairs and there was another whole set of spaces for golfers. There were heaters spaced about so you can technically golf in cold weather.

The driving range itself is good. Drink service was incredibly slow. My friends' beers arrived immediately, but cocktails took at least 20 minutes (or never arrived). Waitstaff was inattentive. Bathrooms were messy and garbages were overflowing. I've always enjoyed coming here but it's simply gone downhill. I think I'll go to different locations from now on.

But don't get me wrong...it's still fun....just need to update how you pay for games and how you "register" the balls...current system is kinda a hot mess..

I used to love this place! Then it turned into a wait of 2.5 hours to get a bay. Asked if we could go to one of the empty bays on the third level, but was told they were not available. Found out you can pay for a reservation, but that it didn't go towards your games or food. The overall location still seems clean, just wish it were convenient.

It was fun. The server, Renee, we had was very nice, friendly and helpful. The food is good. The golf games were challenging. There are different types of games to play. If you are interested in improving your swing with distance measurements, this is the place to go. They give read out.

Best experience ever. Everyone was super super nice. Honestly the best service I have ever had. The pizza was phenomenal, best ever. Golf was so fun, no pressure, and so relaxed. This is NOT a typical Top Golf. It lacks the automated ball dispensers, the bays aren’t near as nice and this place definitely lacks the capacity of other Too Golf locations. We called ahead and they said walk-ins are typically 15-30 minutes tops. Drove from Grand Rapids 3 hours to get here and they said 2-2.5 hours. Completely upset we wasted the drive, but we’re stuck here now paying overpriced costs for beer while we wait.

This place was amazing! We had a party of 13 people and they took great care of us all with food and drinks. Ask for Carlos to be your server if you have a party. He was fantastic and frankly, he dealt with a pretty rowdy crowd like a champ!!

They refused to serve me alcohol because I have a Florida issued drivers license that is printed vertically. Florida issues vertical licenses if you get one before the age of 21. I got it at the age of 16 and I am now 23 and my license expires in 2020. Manager told us it was corporate policy, however I was just served at top golf in Nashville 1 month ago. He was very rude and offered very little explanation. Don’t go here if you are from a state that issues vertical ID’s you will be let down.

After the wait we were told it would be another 45 min. I walked around to find multiple bays open on he first two levels. I will never comeback to topgolf.

THIS PLACE SUCKS!!! Do not go here!!! This location is the smallest TopGolf I’ve seen. There are no ball ejectors. Everything is so old. They charge by the game not by the hour like every other TopGolf. We waited 1.5 hours for a bay. Then when we got a bay at 9pm, we went to buy our games, they tell us each game is 15-20 mins, so all 4 of us buy 3 games each. During the entire game on the screen it says “WE’RE OPEN UNTIL 1AM.” Then at 10p (with NO WARNING) the staff comes around saying they are closing now. We are not even halfway through our balls, and they won’t give us a refund because we have “guest cards”. Totally unprofessional environment. Will never be coming here again.

We had a party of 12 who arrived at about 7 PM I myself arrived at eight. In the hour before I arrived my party ordered one bucket of beer. When I got there me and my buddies went to the bar directly to order two rounds of shots. We then went to continue playing our game and at about 9 PM we went to order another round of shots and we’re refused alcohol services with no explanation. We were beyond frustrated having spent several hundred dollars on game tokens food and the few drinks that we did buy. We ended up cutting our game short and just going to the bar to actually have some fun because apparently you can’t do that here.

Great time with the kiddo and awesome Bloody Mary's, would highly recommend. It was a colder day and the heaters kept us nice and warm. Anytime of year a great place to visit and get some swings in.

I feel like this place could definitely be updated. In every way possible. The staff need to learn to surprise their guests. I was told that I would have to pay for a Birthday treat for a couple guests i was with. What place can you think of that doesn’t do this because you’ve decided to celebrate your birthday with them? I’ve never heard of such a thing. Our server showed up 3 times max to help us. And all she did was try to up sell us when she was around. And was impossible to find. In fact, i had to go out of my way to try and find her. I ended up talking to three people just to find her. And the third time, she was hiding in the back. The actual complex itself is obviously rundown, and their audio system is trash. Not to mention the prices are obscene for what you get in return. Not to mention every time we’ve been here, they give us a bay that’s already occupied and then just throw us in a corner because of an “Unexpected Corporate Event.” I’m just as important as a paying customer as a company is. So what’s the deal? Also, while writing this review inside top golf, I watched as one of your employees dumped grease off a ledge of the building. Which is DEFINITELY not disposing of it properly. We were planning on returning and using our membership but I’m actually not going to return until you guys actually DO something about this place. Train your staff/managers better and get this place a well needed upgrade. I mean, half of the lights don’t even work! A word floated around our group while we were here, and I think it’s more true than what we originally believed. That word is SCAM. do not come here.

I have never been to Top Golf before. Had no idea what to expect. This place is awesome, you get a chance to hit some balls at some funky targets, while airplanes are taking off from ORD. And you can order food and drinks right to your table. It's a great experience and awesome way to catch up with friends. Staff is top notch!

I live in Virginia so I am used to the one near my house which dispenses the golf balls automatically but you have to buy them here and put them in a basket.They really should up date to play professionally. =(

It's a bit outdated than the newer top golf centres. I am a fan of top golf but it was my first time to this one. Did not like the experience here due to the manual process.

This place was fun. It’s like a mix of the driving range and bowling. We managed to snag this really cool end unit that was like a suite. Huge couch, TVs, and semi-private. Food was decent. Drink specials did the job as well. Only complaint was the price. The way the pricing structure is set up can be confusing and it ended up being a costly date afternoon. However we are already planning to go back for more.

This place is basically a run down driving range...TopGolf should be enjoyable and fun. Such low quality technology and poor service. Topgolf is a big company name and they cannot update this location? Never coming back again. Terrible experience!!

Had a great experience even for my first time, their system was easy to use and very fast. Even though you might not expect it their food was excellent. I personally suggest their brisket grilled cheese and tater tots.

Great place! First time going celebrating my birthday! The staff was extra friendly and helpful. Reservations for a bay was so quick. Explaining how the process of the game was, was so easy! Food was great! The drinks was inexpensive very tasteful. I had a really great time! I would definitely recommend

Good food but... I made a reservation online for 5:30. Got there 10 minutes late and was told because of a corporate event there was a wait and they would call/text me. Had dinner and drinks in the restaurant but was never contacted. After dinner our waiter asked the front and was told it would be "soon". 2 hours later they told us a bay was open. We just left.

Excellent place to go for some.fun and outdoor activity. The food is excellent but a little on the higher priced side for the area. I caution however to call ahead of time because the 2 times I went there to try and play I was instructed that there was a 2 hour wait time.

Their computerised score system is old and at least one in four balls is not registered. You will have to go and manually adjust your score. I will sugest to the owners to invest a little bit in their business. It's tax deductible guys.

Great food and staff! Love this location as they have top notch facilities. My only ask is that they have a better way to do reservations. It is $50 if you want to make a reservation and that money doesn’t go towards and food or games purchased. Please work on that.

We we're here with a group of 6. We can tend to be needy and even though we are a good time, Rachel accommodated us to every need. We prefer coke I stead of Pepsi, and we requested she say here's your coke inscoke instead of Pepsi, and she came through. She told us it was coke at first, so don't worry coke we know top golf is a Coca-Cola business. She was super funny and was quick with our food and drinks. Thanks Rachel. Have been to Topgolf in Nashville and Minneapolis and had great times. The wood dale is a joke. Would never recommend or go back 3 hours of golfing server came 3 times once to take order once to bring order then brought bill because his shift was ending. No one ever came to use again. In 2 1/2 hours. Told him it was our daughters 21 birthday he could of cared less and this is completely opposite of Nashville where the went thru hoops for our other daughter birthday. Good thing for me is that I spent a heck of a lot less money with being ignored. And we where in the executive suite on would think you would at least get regular service. I love top golf can’t wait to see if the barrington IL one will be better

Top golf is akin to bowling where each shot is tracked and there are a half dozen ways to compete against each other. Good for practice but excellent for socializing. The food and drinks are much better than you would expect.
