It's got 4 stars because it's probably more of a personal preference than a "them issue". This spot is for a celebration of the sugary kind. We just wanted a lunch stop. It was hard to hear our server, the food was okay. If you are going to celebrate, I'm sure it's a much better fit- especially with a big group. Definitely not for the budget or health conscious, but you can probably guess that by the name.

We went to the Sugar Factory in Downtown Chicago in February and loved it. My Wife wanted to go again today for her birthday so we choose this location. 1st the hostess wanted to seat all 4 of us at a small table and got an attitude when we refused. 2nd issue was there are no free refills. The pasta that I ordered was tasteless. From now on we will drive the extra 30 minutes to go to the Much Better location downtown.

Tiffany Simpson

Food was good! Great atmosphere. Unfortunately our party of 10 were at our table for 10min with no acknowledgment from a waiter. But our backup waiter,Alvin stepped in and was so helpful.

Renee Luke

WOW! IF YOU WANT TO GO BACK IN TIME WITH YOUR SWEET TOOTH THIS IS THE PLACE FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY. SEE AND PURCHASE THE CANDY FROM THE 50'S TO THE 90'S. REMEMBER THE CANDY NECKLACE?. THE DESSERT, STAWBERRY CHEESE ICE CREAM . TURTLE A LA MODE CHEESE CAKE .THERE MAY BE A SLIGHT WAIT TO BE SEATED BUT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT. YOU CAN ALSO REQUEST WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SIT. THE ROUND BOOTH OR TRY THE SERVICE AT THE BAR.

Nick Wong

Tourist trap/Surburban young adult trap for those who ok with paying $35+ for sugary semi alcoholic drinks. You come here for the gram' and that's it.

Brenden Welbaum

The WORST experience ever. We waited at least 20 mins to place our drink order while sitting outside, in direct sun. Then, we didn’t see our waiter for at least another 30. Even though we were waiting for the rest of our party, shouldn’t we have been asked if we wanted to order or not?! After a TWO HOUR visit, we finally received our checks only to be told we could only split 3 ways!!!! Uhm, no?? Why not tell us that when we first say we have a party of 6??!!! Food was okay but not likely coming back. Not worth the hassle. Buy your own candy and make your own insane milkshakes at home.

Completely overpriced for the quality of food. Food is decent but you can find a better meal at a cheaper price many places. Signature goblet drink was more food coloring and sugar than alcohol. $37 for a giant weak-poured mess so full of food dye it will turn your poop green. Staff was friendly, but the decor and constant celebrity photo/video montages gave the restaurant an air of needy desperation. While it'll make for some great Instagram photos, a better meal will be found elsewhere.

The layout is poorly planned at this location, causing a bottleneck at the front door most nights after 5, and pairing the ridiculous pricing with Chicago's 10% sales tax, an almond joy at this place is north of $4. The staff here puts on a good front but you can see that many of them are miserable in their jobs.wish I could say better, but not one of my favorite locations.

John Canfield

Ice cream parlor, can be really loud, weak servers lack familiarity of fare and service timing at the price point. Hopefully your visit will better than ours. I would go back when there were major events on the other side of the city. Bless their harts!

Kasia S

Drinks and waiter - great. Food is horrible and overpriced for its quality.

Tim Popp

Buffalo chicken egg rolls we're good, the rest of the food was terrible. Those goblet drinks are also extremely overpriced at around $37 with very little alcohol in them. Save your money and go somewhere else

shana davis

The food is good the drinks are good but there aren't that many options as far as food goes, and they don't carry sour cream

NEW TRU

KIDS LOVED IT ! $250 Later, LOL ! Special occasions ONLY. I would eat before coming next time & have dessert only. Milkshakes = $20 & up. Food ? Meh.

Oz Correa

The food was pretty good. The drinks are great. Parking is terrible but can validate.

Niyah Gang

It was good but a little high

Meena Beena

Best burgers I've ever had. Dessert was my favorite part though. The bananas foster ice cream sandwich was huge, I couldn't even finish it.

TwilightWolfRose

It was a fun sugary experience. Our waiter was nice and patient. Food was good. Wish our drink had a little less ice.

Mike Bibbey

Neat atmosphere. Service is really, really slow.

Tom K

Sugar Factory is one of my favorite places. It's all about the experience. Do not come here if on a diet. Food is always great, staff is on point. It can get a little crazy in there with the amount of people. Reservations a must. I heard the walk in wait was over 5 hours today! Great for families, friend outings or date nights with that special someone. Be sure to grab a goblet and a special dessert!

Walter Williams

Candy Land for adults..... Drinks that steam up with like a witches brew..... Great nightlife atmosphere as well

LynRob B

My burger was over cooked, the fries were cold. The soup I had, broccoli cheddar was hot and delicious. It is a trendy place you go to not for good food but for the enormous drinks. We did not see one person finish their $37 drinks. But I wondered what all the hype was about and having gone there once, I am good

Sharlene Rodriguez

OMG, I love coming here the service is great and friendly the atmosphere is really cool a dream for those candy fanatics.

JoHanna Wozny

Olive Garden quality food at more than twice the price. No kids menu so we ordered from the apps for our kids since they had chicken tenders and sliders. Naturally, we paid more than double what we would have paid if this were elsewhere with a kids menu. The milkshakes are fun to look at, but the taste isn't anything special and certainly not worth the $18 price tag. The restaurant itself is too loud to hold a decent conversation and the constant loop of celebrities posing in front of their other restaurants gets annoying after awhile. You can tell that they spend more money on marketing than they do on improving the food/drinks. I also contacted the company with my feedback and got no response so they really don't care if you didn't enjoy it.

Trese Woodal

The pan-seared salmon is yummy!

Juan Mosqueda

Great place to have fun while eating cool and tasty food. They accommodated our group of 20 people with no problem and drinks and food was serve on a great matter of time

Ronald Rogers

Service was great, atmosphere was incredible, drinks were excellent

David Kim

got money to waste? this is as good a place as any. food is about as good as bar food gets. i suppose the 64 oz drinks are cool to take vids of, while the bartender pours it, but it's hardly worth the price.

avinash fernandes

Awesome drinks and good food!! The big fancy drinks are a bit expensive. They were $35 per drink. The smaller drinks on the other hand were $11 bucks!! We just tried the appetizers and that itself was sufficient and tasty! If you used the self parking then ask the server to validate your parking ticket so you don't have to pay for it.

Dragons Vision

Nice atmosphere!!! Pretty design, good for kids and adults in the same time ! Great staff !

Brian Likosar

Food quality and quantity was very good. It's very loud and obnoxious, which is perfect for kids. The drinks are fun and the dessert options are beyond indulgent.

Elizabeth Santana

The drinks are great the food is average and everything is overpriced. Also if you go with a large party be sure to bring cash or pay the person who will be paying later. You can only split up to 3 ways.

Sean E

Overpriced "64 oz" goblet only has 20 oz of liquid in it. The rest is ice. Wayyy to sweet. Nothing special. Didn't taste alcohol in it, nor did I feel tipsy after drinking it. My friends got desserts which were meant for 2 people, but they could feed at least 5 people, so those portions were huge and they were priced very well. Staff was pretty nice, aside from the hostesses who seemed like they hate their jobs. Cute decor other than the celebrities.

Amanda Hummel

I like this place, but I have to say everytime we've been here they are out of the suckers. The ones that everyone wants, I get it, so order more maybe. Also the girls that work here seem really unfriendly, find a new job if it makes you unhappy. Sorry I don't like to make rude posts, just honest.

Christopher Williams

The most special thing about this place is the drinks. Great place for the kids and adults as well. The food is something you can get anywhere such as a diner, but good nonetheless. Definitely high priced menu, but a good treat for every now and then.

Jen B

Absolutely loved the drinks here! Food menu was ok, but I go for the drinks

Anthony Cortez

It's like cheesecake factory, but switch the cheesecake for other sugary things.

Rakim Garland

The food was amazing. Place looks pretty too and the servers were helpful

Mahdi Zambrella

Nice music, staff workers,tasty food

Zays videos Mandie

Good Food with a fun atmosphere descent prices Great drinks and AWESOME Dessert! Beware! They say the dessert serves 2 but Could easily serve 3-4 people and So yummy!

Lauren

Made a reservation for 2 and was sat right away. We waited 20 mins and no one greeted us. All the servers were standing around staring into space, they were not busy. I went to the host to inquire about our server and she said she would go check on it. No one ever came. It was my birthday too, I will never go back. Thanks for nothing!

jasmine luckett

The fact that the prices of the drinks are not listed is somewhat of a false representation. I ordered the cheeseburger fries, and strips, which technically only came up to less that 30 bucks, I added the Mai Tai fishbowl drink mu bill was 124, now I'll be honest it was myself and my sister but one fishbowl is $35 bucks would not recommend ❗ I mean if you have it go ahead the ambiance was nice, waitress friendly, service speedy but those drinks FULL SCALE RIP OFF.

Shadow Talon

It was EXTREMELY BUSY when I went and the place was packed. I was able to put a reservation in for 3 and got seated immediately. The food is good but if you want to enjoy it make this place your only meal of the day.

Lakisha Barbee

Food is awesome!! Great staff and the atmosphere is great!

Demetra Jones

Loved this place!! Service A1, Goblets awesome...food was great!

Nikeisha McDonald

Pricey but Good food, drinks and atmosphere. Good for families and adults only

Linda Surzynski

We had an Amazing day in Rosemont! The Sugar Factory was the HIGHLIGHT of the day! This place is SO Cute. Instead of individual plates we ordered appetizers to share. Mini Rainbow Burger Bites, Stack of Onion Rings and Chicken Tenders. The servings are really large enough to share. Of course our Spirits were Amazing! The server waited for us to get our cameras ready before pouring our delightful concoctions! They were Awesome! Incase you didn't know you can order these drinks without alcohol. We will be back!

Stephanie Smid

Not impressed. Wasnt clean. Food average. Dont think my $14 lemon drop had any alcohol. Menu was not the same as online. Cute concept, but that's all.

Angel Chow

Good was great. The drinks are fun and large. The kids shared a kiddie drink and they loved it.

dave cesario

Incredibly slow wait staff, sub oar response from management. Screwed up multiple orders and could care less about getting anything right. Overpriced from the start and terrible service. Stay away

Megan Golt

This establishment was a joke. I went for my birthday celebration. Service was extremely slow. Ordered spinach artichoke dip and needed more chips and was going to be charged for them. Was brought a wine glass of candy with a sparkler in it that my friends paid for and then didn’t get to keep the candy so essentially they paid 5 bucks for a sparkler, it was a complete rip off. The only good thing about the experience was the atmosphere.

Elva Garcia

Loved the service and the whole vibe!!

miguel chang

For me one of the best places to enjoy a special day, or just to meet your friends. Well it was my birthday and the pass was great. Everything you ask, you will taste it with a lot of flavor! The best burger "Macaroni Cheese", The super delicious Club House and the birthday cake is wonderful apart from fun. And even though I am not a child, this place will remind you of your childhood, sweets everywhere.

Yvette Linklater

Drinks were fun and good but the food was less than okay. Dried stale hamburger buns that broke down in ketchup. Burgers tastes like they were cooked on a griddle pile of grease. Skip the food and go for their specialty- desserts and drinks.

Maia G

Super fun and trendy place with great food and music. This location is family friendly. Usually there is a 30 minute to 1 hour wait so you should call in advance to get a table. Despite the line it Is definitely worth the wait! Known for their unique drink goblets (all can be done non-alcoholic for children to enjoy!) and candy desserts!

Lori Thuestad

Today we went for brunch. Prices are more than online they need to update their website.. our waitress was good.. ordered a creamer brûlée coffee which did not come as described but with caramel drizzle on top ( no sugar baked sculpture as per menu) ordered eggs Benedict... came with hash brown patties in the Benedict ( not homemade as they claim) and no Hollandaise sauce. Waitress brought me a side of Hollandaise, which was very cool ( May have been forgotten originally) and the sauce had separated and was not good. Entree did not resemble picture or menu description.. Ask questions I think the Chefs need to read their menu. Sandwiches were good and dessert was good. Atmosphere is fun but expensive as is the candy store with most items not having a price tag. We discussed on the way home ( party of 6) ok we did that... not really expecting to go back or really excited about any of the food.. oh and we had stale chips with the artichoke and spinach dip!!

Mike Anderson

The food was good, but extraordinarily overpriced. The food wasn't so good that it warranted the mega markup. I'll go someplace else next time.

Denise Garza

Ok the food was amazing and the drinks were WOW!!! Be ready to spend A LOT!!! But the service was lacking!! Maybe we got a bad server.. I'm not even super picky.. I'm usually pretty compassionate and understanding because you know some things are out of their control. But our waitress truly seemed annoyed to be there.

Paul Niezakasztelanski

Very gimmicky and very overpriced. Quality is okay but not spectacular. Beware of the goblet drinks. The one we had, a blue one, was so sweet it makes MtnDew seem like a health drink. Needless to say $35 went straight into a drain. Strawberry shake seemed strangely watered down. I don't know if it's supposed to be like that or they take a good quality shake and dilute it to make three shakes out of it. It's definitely different, looks like a lot of celebrities went there, but I highly doubt I will be back.

Tofu Pug

All of the employees were very polite and the service was excellent!

Becky Crea

Three adults, two kids, 7pm on Mother’s Day. The front was annoyed that we wanted a table. After a fair amount of grumbling and consulting, they decided a place we could sit and told us there’s mandatory 20% gratuity for tables of 5 or more. I understand when it’s added in a full service restaurant for a party of 8 or more, it’s a lot of work. We walked- I’m not getting locked into a 20% bump for what’s already been bad service. Happily paid the $15 for 5 minutes of parking to leave and treat Mom to dessert elsewhere. No clue how the food is, it looked like it could have been a blast! What a bad experience.

Jessica Muniz

The staff and manager were so nice and welcoming. I’m very happy I got to celebrate my birthday at the Sugar Factory.

Michael Silva

Food was cold and it took 45 min to get a burger. With these prices i expected better

Dennis Tisdale

Dinner service and drinks were all incredible

Kathleen Aguilar

The food wasn't that good! Great for the drinks, milkshakes, and dessert!

Daniel Roop

The Sugar Factory restaurant is a nice place to stop just once or every once in a while. While there are many expensive items on their menus you don't necessarily have to spend too much to get an enjoyable dinner and a drink. The atmosphere is fun and the wait-staff seems to do a good job. I would recommend to anybody looking for a special place to grab a bite.

Mark C

Had a good time here. The atmosphere is a party atmosphere. It seemed like every 10 minutes or so the lights would dim, a ginormous sundae would get carried to a table and the cake song would play loudly. It was a lot of fun with the music and everyone clapping and singing. The place is really loud and you can barely hear the person next to you talking. Came in on a Saturday evening and the place was jam packed for my entire visit. Even when leaving the lobby was still full of people waiting for a seat. If you are coming with a large party be sure to make a reservation at least two weeks in advance. Otherwise if you show up unannounced you will have a long wait on your hands. The food is okay and the drinks are kind of pricey. THE King Kong Sundae is massive. If you plan on ordering the sundae you should have a large party with you and only order an appetizer to eat. I will definitely return at a later date for another go round of CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE CAKE.

Erick Dobranski

Service ok. Very weak drinks for the price. I'm not big on sweet drinks but paying +$15 for a big drink you'd expect more alcohol. I prefer beer and they did have a few to select from which was nice. Great for a date night.

Jan Talaga

Typical tourist spot. Extremely overpriced. Food is average. We did have a good server though. And keep an eye on your check. They auto add a 20% gratuity and yet your receipt still shows a gratuity line. I'm sure many people don't notice this and tip twice!

Lianne Stewart

Expensive treats but they are delicious!! We tried a few of the milkshakes and they were delicious! The food was pretty good too...wings were crispy with a good sauce, buffalo rolls were tasty, french onion soup was ok, burger was good. Service was slow but there was lots to watch so it was terrible. The festive singing for birthdays was nice. They do a good job for kids with parties. The candy in the store should probably not be out for kids to self serve...lots of fingers!

Larry Egner

I want to thank Kelsey Carey and the staff for making my daughters 18th birthday a very special day! Every request I made was honored and everyone was so positive! The food and drinks were great, and our server was tremendous! I wish I could remember her name!! Thank you so much for a great day that we will never forget! My baby turned 18 today, and I couldn’t be happier that we spent her special day at The Sugar Factory!

Kim Munch

Too much whipped cream, not enough ice cream and hot fudge topping. I felt like I was eating a whipped cream banana split. Only positive thing I have to say is Our server was great. Would not recommend.

Miche M.

Overpriced and overrated! But, they do validate free parking which would normally cost $15. From looking around at the restaurant and watching the videos of the various celebrities that have frequented the Sugar Factory, I gathered that this was the spot several years ago. Now, not so much! After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes for a server to come to our table. The food we ordered was average. We ordered a non-alcoholic goblet that cost $26! The prices are not on the menu. If you want a version with alcohol, it’s an additional $10. The drink tasted like sparkling watermelon water, nothing special. Do not believe the hype! It’s not worth it. We were full after our entrees, so decided to share a brownie sandwich. The brownie was tough and the chocolate chips on top were ashy looking and too hard to chew. This place was a total waste of time and money.

Kelly Andrews

It was great experience. Chicken n waffles were delicious!!! The wait was long but understood for Friday night

Marc Santarromana

So many selections. Amazing drinks

Kelly Rennie

Unbelievably overpriced, way too much sugar for normal people. Huge drinks with huge pricetag and almost no alcohol. Disappointing, but kids loved it.

Mz Matt

Awesome place to visit!! AJ was an awesome waiter and made us feel great about our experience here :) From STL to CHICAGO we will definitely be back

joey 60W99

The minute you get there your breath is taken away by the scenery. There are so many other restaurants around it giving it a variety of style , and there is a huge field with lights all across the top. Then you get inside the sugar factory and there is music playing , but not just any music , they play current music not that McDonald's jazz stuff , and also their menu is amazing , there are so many different foods and drinks , and desserts , that you wish you had room for them all , and not just that they have a mini candy store and ice cream shop within the restaurant, over all it's a great place to dine.

Bonnie Ehrenberg

It's a fun place to take grandkids and anyone who wants to have a good time. The food is good and the milkshakes and desserts are amazing

lildago 55

If you have never been to the sugar factory period it is not a place to passup on whether, it's a date for 2 or a birthday party the sugar factory is a great spot. Amazing food, great atsmosphere, very polite staff, very professional all around

Kema Cat

Judging the restaurant alone, it was not worth it. The sweet theme is cool. A person in our party ordered a lobster tail, it had to get replaced because there was literally like 2 tbsp of meat after it supposedly fell out in the cracking process. They give you glass jar drinks, so no refills. And you are surrounded with monitors showing nonstop Kardashians. I feel like we were worshipping celebrities.

Kelley Jones

I like the milkshakes there while my friends were enjoying one of the orange alcohol drink.

Susana Melgar

I booked my reservation thru OpenTable a week in advance expecting to be seating at the time I selected. We had to wait 45 min past my reservation time. I didn't appreciate the hostess and nor being able to give me much information on time other than "I don't know how much longer". So what's the point of a reservation

Nick D

Service and quality are excellent. Place is very unique. Malicia did a fantastic job serving us. Service was above and beyond.

nacho daddy

Great atmosphere, giblets with dry ice has a great presentation, as well as milkshakes. Burgers were super large, and onion rings were very tasty. Waiters take a non hassle approach, you call them when needed. All staff was helpful in getting us what we needed. Kids had a blast. $$$$$

Dariusz Gancarz

If you love ice cream here we go....

Y Pham

The food is meh! The price is really high and the portion is not that big compare to the price or the quality. Most drinks and desserts are very sweet. I have to agree that some drinks and desserts look very nice for a picture because of how big and colorful they are, but other than that, there’s not much to it.

Kenny Minton

Definitely overpriced. But had many unique offerings. I could never see paying a few hundred dollars at one sitting.

Brian Anderson

Extremely overpriced food and drinks. Food wasn't that great, oh and if you want a soda, that'll be an overpriced 8oz bottle of coke

Sai Mithil Reddy

Cocktails, Martinis food all were good and server was nice and friendly, little bit noisy environment. Only thing I didn't like I made reservation for date night like a day before and when i was there they were just looking for some open table and gave just at entrance with a tiny table. No point of making reservation.

Joel Hallstrom

Had high hopes. Service was non existant. Appetizer good, meal nothing special especially for the inflated prices. Thank God we ate on the patio or our eardrums would have been bleeding. Unless you somehow think eating here improves your social status by posting it on Instagram, there are much better options.

A

horrible! I ordered a regular cappuccino and they added white cream with white chocolate, the cappuccino tasted like pure milk! I do not recommend it! bad and expensive!

Rose Rogers

Good drinks, great place to have fun

janice trapp

Over rated ,food average, every chair back I touched was filthy and sticky , drinks cost too much at that price you should be able to keep the glass

Argelia Mejias

Nice place!! Very taste dessert.

John Marshall

Best Delicious Food/Drinks/ And Buying Snacks While Waiting Before You Sit Down And Enjoy Your Meal

Lane D.

The place is fun and busy. Some stuff is overpriced, like the non alcoholic martini we got which was just sugar water, and some stuff is worth more than you're expecting like the "Sundae for Two" we ordered that could have fed 4 people easily. Nice staff members, the candy store is fun to look through but also overpriced.

alex koerner

Great food, and plenty of it. Nice shopping selection as well. They also have an outdoor seating area that is very nice. One of their prices seem that they have gotten quite a few big name celebrities at the establishment. Food is reasonably priced but some of the drinks altho specialized are a bit pricey. Deffinately worth stop tho

Anthony Hurt

My family and friends really enjoyed the experience and food, the drinks were amazing and the food was great.

Maria Nieves

Great place for a once or twice a year visit. Food is good but only worth the indulgence of the rediculous prices if you have a sweet tooth or craving. Drinks and atmosphere are creative and delightful but staff is very abrupt and uninvolved in the experience. Almost as if just doing there job and reading from scripts. I like to get a full experience especially for those prices. Which means cheerful friendly knowledgeable service. Love the red carpet photo entrance open to customers along with candy store. As far as menu drinks are creative but appetizers far beat the entrees.

Logan Miller

Thirty minutes after our table of five got waters, we still hadn’t seen our waitress for food orders, so I thought I would check out the sweets shop. I tried to vend a few chocolate malted milk balls into a tub and the whole tub filled immediately (20oz tub or so). That’s fine, I figured I’d take them home and eat the rest later. My girlfriend picked out an assortment of candies in another tub.. When we set them on the scale to get weighed, the girl said it was $37 and change! Considering this was less than one bag of candy from any given grocery store but not any better quality, it ruined the entire experience. That’s beside the two and a half hours we were there to eat a simple burger and ice cream dinner.

Patricia Penrod

Three stars only because management comped our meal when a lengthy list of issues was brought to his attention. Do not, under any circumstances, order the steak here (or any meals for that matter unless you want to be incredibly disappointed). Call ahead to order drinks because it takes that long to get them to your table. This is an overpriced ice cream/candy shop and nothing more - they completely dropped the ball here from start to finish.

Kelly Gallagher

We had a reservation with friends and our kids for New Year's. Overall great experience. A bit overpriced but overall great food, good portions sizes. Waiters were attentive and accommodating. Specifically the gentleman who without hesitation, jumped right in and cleaned up after our friends son who had gotten sick. He came to the table wiped down the floor, the booth and even wiped our friends kids shoes etc off. Never showed any sign of being grossed out. He took care of it like it was no big deal. My husband went up and thanked him personally, we didn't get his name but I wanted to do this review and hopefully he sees it and knows that we think he was amazing and he went above and beyond. Thank you sir. Happy New Year.

jenean davis

I liked the atmosphere it’s very loud and up beat, and decorated beautifully. This place really fits my personality I went here with my family to celebrate all the family members who birthday had just passed (mine included). The food was good and their burgers are huge. However I gave this place 3 stars because their menu prices are different online than in the restaurant. Online the prices are MUCH CHEAPER. Yes all caps because this place is very expensive the drinks are very overpriced $35 for the fish bowl drink and it’s watered down I wasn’t even buzzed at all, and I don’t like the fact the the 20percent tip was already added to my bill I ended up tipping the guy $20 my bill came out to $146 for one adult and 2 kids and we didn’t even order that much. This place is way to expensive for my taste.

Monica Mora

Burgers are delicious. Staff was great.

Nicole Williams

I wasn't sure about how I would like it at first but ended up happy with the experience. Drinks were all fun and enjoyed. Waffle breakfast burger was amazing!

Gina Johnson

Gr8 drinks!$$$

Alpha Pizza

VERY expensive. But REALLY good food and service!

Virginia Lyon

The other reviews are correct, it is expensive and it is fun if you enjoy the theme. My daughter loved it, we went for her birthday. We made a reservation. It was a weeknight during the school year, so the main part of the restaurant (where people were being seated) was about 3/4 empty when we arrived, but we were told we had to wait because we were 15 minutes early. We were then sat at a tiny table that was about big enough for people sharing one of those kitchen sink ice cream dishes and that's about it. We were there for dinner, and when the food came, the runner wasn't even able to put all the plates on the table. I sat there holding my dish in my hands while I ate. I saw no other groups of 4 sat at one of those tiny tables, yet we had been nothing but polite, so I'm not sure what the deal was. The food was good, the drinks -- while very expensive -- were unique and excellent. The family had a great time. I just don't understand why they seat so many people at a tiny table when they know they are there for dinner!

Randall Pruitt

High prices, food was okay. Feature large goblet sized drinks that contain candy. Noisy, with disco lights, music and lots of kids.

kimberly bielski

VERY dirty bathrooms, it was disgusting. Very over priced. We went for the experience but probably won't ever go back

Michael Feege

Music is too loud. Food is over priced and was served to us cold. Not worth the hype at all

Jermaine Mcfarland

The service was great prices are a little pricey if you want to take a family

chaneece childs

I LOVED THE CLASSIC SUNDAE YUMMY IT'S WAS GIANT!!!!

marianne meris

It's more for teen girls . I think its every young girls dream to build there own candy and icecream shop. What a dream come true for a young girl. Bring lots of money there is so much to choose from. ♡♡♡

Theresa Mcbride

Overall we had a good time but seem like the waitress was rushing us to eat out food I felt a bit rushed at this restaurant maybe next time will be better it was my daughter's birthday we had a good time other than that seeing like we was a bit rushed

C Wright

Food was better than expected and the drinks were very good. Atmosphere I give 5 stars.

Mrs C

This place is great for both kids and adults! It has a big variety on the menuand super size drinks that can be ordered with alcohol or without. It also has a candy store. Here's a tip, buy the all you can eat tin instead of candy by the pound. You get discounted refills too! They had a DJ the night I was there. It's a bit overpriced, but fun place.

D. Nichole

Fun kid and teenager experience, however quality of the brand has cheapened due to service like a overpriced TGIF. They include a 20% service fee on the bill which results in mediocre table service. DJ is the only highlight of that place. No kids menu and paid $73 for cheeseburger sliders, wings, fries, and a martini. Only place around that charges $100 for a giant ice cream bowl and sparklers for celebrations. And let's not forget the horrible wait time and crowd in the main lobby. Definitely won't be back!

mylene cardona

Looking at others reviews, you could tell they haven’t been in the restaurant industry. I always have a good time here! Food is good & drinks are bomb! Don’t get discouraged by others insane opinions and come check it out for yourself! :) my kids love this place!

Cheesecake factory meets hard Rock Cafe / planet Hollywood. Food was fine, service was middling, drinks were fantastic, everything was overpriced. From the looping video playing of celebrities dining at (or attending grand opening of) other locations, this place thinks it's pretty cool. You end up feeling like you are paying a premium for it.

The Sugar Factory is a really fun place to bring young kids (or anyone who loves sweets). I brought my family, and we loved it. The atmosphere is very loud and party-like...like if a bunch of second-graders took exctasy and planned a rave. They have a variety of whimsical (and very expensive) drinks that can be ordered with or without alcohol. They also have delicious shakes. My daughter got a Giggle Snickers milkshake that was really tasty. It came with a full-size Snickers bar and $18 price tag. The food is pretty good, although nothing special. They also have a full-size candy shop when you walk in. Be aware that this place is quite expensive. We dropped a $100 for two adults and one child and really didn't order that much.

Food is decent nothing special & the drinks are obviously On the sweeter side. Nice to go once & awhile but not worth the cost!

Went for my sons birthday with the family. Made reservations and we still waited over 45 minutes. Waitress was horrible, the busboy was more of our waiter than the waitress was and with a larger party they add a 20% service fee. Those goblet drinks were mostly ice. We order sandwiches and salads it took over an hour to get the food. Over all staff was rude and not consistent. Managers just walk in circles but don’t seem to help. Bus boys are hard working guys. I don’t recommend this place for adults. It’s very loud and the Kardashians are on all the tv screens, kinda strange.

Great place to go after work. Pretty busy for a week night. Had a great time with some friends. We all had this cheesy burger Awesome!! It was huge like a burger should be! They have great fish bowl drinks!! Overall a nice place, good food, good friends, good service!!

Lots of people and small store.....but tjr food and the service were spot on. My steak was fork tender and the prices were surprisingly reasonable

Patricia Schreiber

Waited far too long for a noisy very expensive experience. Not worth the aggravation! Dry chicken, weak drinks!

Eddie Huffman

Amazing place. The food was excellent. Will definitely go back.

So much fun, the first time we went there was almost no wait. The second time there was over an hour wait and the place was packed. We left. Not sure if the wait was fabricated for status. Not sure why, and from the window it didn't look full inside. But the drinks are amazing, you can request to not have them come with the candy. The dry ice mixed in makes them steam cold and the atmosphere is very lovely, a cross between Americana classic diner feel and chic upper trendy.

We came early, before the crowds. Food was good. Drinks are pricey. Really surprised that our seat was in really bad shape, lots of big tears and rips.

Trinity

A wide variety of candy to choose from. Looking around brought back a lot of memories from my childhood. The staff was very friendly and my kids had fun too!

Nicholas Chezum

Sugar. Sugar. Sugar. Get it while your there. Fantastic selection. A great stop for anyone.

Millenium Manifestations

Sooo fun my daughter and her friends had a blast!!

Adrian D Valderrama

Cool place but a bit pricey for candy you can find anywhere a whole lot cheaper. You pay by weight and the dispensers seem set to drop a lot of candy. Hard to control. Other than that the atmosphere is great.

louise deberry

Omg, the food is extremely high but nice atmosphere.

Andrew OConnor

This was a fun experience. We got the giant liquor bowl with candy in it. If you love candy then you'll enjoy this place.

Sarah J

So much fun! Don't think you can get away without spending some money though. Def get yourself a goblet!

Christine Alvarado

Fun place to visit with the kids! Desserts are extraordinary and HUGE! if you really want dessert, just skip the food and dive in yo dessert without looking back! Pricey but I consider this resteraunt more of a treat or special occasion visit I don't mind splurging once a year. Service could be better but wasn't horrible, but that's why i gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Thomas Sedlacek

Place was loud, service seemed slow. Prices were higher than online menu

Emily Projansky

Pros: An "experience" more than anything. Super friendly service. Good cocktails (not goblets - those are disgusting). Their staff was flexible in serving my table bland food that not on the menu (to offset the sugar overload from the goblets). Cons: 3 of us finished 2 goblets (supposed to have 6-8 shots each) and a cocktail, some plain pasta, and asparagus. We weren't even buzzed during/after, but one of of us did leave with an upset stomach from the sugar. NO pricing on their drink menu, ambiguous descriptions of drinks (please be ABLE to tell me exactly how much of what kind of "spirits" I'm drinking). Also, we sat on the patio and we could hear 2 different music stations blasting (1 inside and a different one outside) = confusing and unpleasant. Also, only 4 stalls in the women's restroom. After I got home and did a Google and website search, no nutrition info found ANYWHERE. Summary: A one-time ONLY experience. Bring tums.

great for family events .. kids loved it every moment lol

Whitley Chappell

Food was ok customer service was lacking. We went for my daughter's birthday. Should have went somewhere else

Joyce Martin

Loved it....everything is BIG. Lol

Justin Morris

First time at this place and my server Danny was awesome. He was legit on top of everything. On top of that, the food was pretty good. I noticed the employees (servers and bus guys) work together as a team, keep that going! Definitely recommend this place.

Nmacdonald 15

Food was great, the atmosphere was friendly and candy shop like sticking to the theme, and the waiters/waitresses were very friendly.

Pete Dulany

Other reviews are spot on. Food is definitely sub-par. We had a party of 7 and nobody ate their entire dinner. And it wasn’t because of the portion sizes. Get appetizers and desserts, ignore the celebrity TVs and mess from previous customers all over the floor and call it a day.

Roberto Garcia

This is the go-to place for an after party party kind of day. The giant gantlet is amazing and won't fail to catch your attention. The shakes are not only delicious but have an excellent presentation. I literally got a burger on a toothpick as a topper in the shake. Amazing. Expensive, but fun.

Erin Johnson

Food was great. Wouldn't suggest if you're a diabetic. If you are...plan to bring insulin Otherwise, cool layout, interesting menu and friendly staff

Diana Payne

The signature drinks are fun and very "instagramable" but you'll for sure get a headache and the value is in the photo opp not the quality of liquor that they use to make them. Menu is pretty average for a corporate restaurant, but food always comes out quickly and correct to the order. Service is always top notch. If you order the giant dessert they play crazy loud music, put sparklers in it and clap for you. Overall would recommend for a special event with young people, but not for anyone over the age of 35 looking for a casual night out.

Renee Creek

Fun little place if you like sweets & good food

ALFREDO OCAMPO

Atmosphere is very lively. Tastey drinks

Iva Kelley

Lots of sweet delicious things. Had to get some! Could get anything you want. Even a place for pictures. Worth seeing.

michele hubbard-richer

Beautiful restaurant...great drinks and food. The spinach, sundried tomato and shrimp crepe was amazing. Lives up to the hype!!

Kim Ramos

Gave me attitude when I asked for a menu. I'm sorry, isn't that what the place is for?! The girls behind the counter In front of the candy were all mean. Very disappointed. Asked for a fried Oreo with ice cream to eat there with my family and they gave it to me in a to go box. Said they forgot and just left it at that. Too overpriced and customer service sucks!

Dan M

This place is significantly over priced. The 1 drink we ordered cost nearly $40. It was a "goblet" drink with alcohol but it definitely didn't taste alcoholic. It lives up to the name of sugar factory as that is all you can taste. It wasn't even full and was mostly ice. They are clearly trying to charge for an experience and it does not deliver.

Vilex

Cool place. Expensive drinks. Paid 40 bucks for some fancy fish bowl that didn't even get me buzzed.. Concept is cool, but don't come here expecting to get drunk of any sorts. Skimp out on alcohol in the drinks.
