Amazing Chicago brewery, especially if you're into IPA style beers. The beer menu was pretty expansive, with the exception of Stouts/Porters. The food was excellent, but the beer was a level above. Definitely worth stopping in for the location specific brews that are better than the widely distributed beer you can find outside of Chicago.

We had incredibly fast service as soon as we were through the door. My girlfriend and I went on a Monday night and each had well poured beer and delicious food.

Good beer but the food is not that great. From out of town and met some family here who highly recommend this place. My wife and I both got the burgers. Two different types a cheeseburger and a jalapeno cheese burger with a fried egg on it. Dont remember the names but they weren't very good. They had no garnish lettuce tomatoes onion's etc. Just meat and cheese. Would've been better with garnish. Also the fries weren't fresh at all, dry, hard and cold. Also they were stingy with the fries. A very small portion. From where we come from the brewerys usually have really good food. Cant say that for this place. Oh actually the cheese curds were pretty good. 6 drinks, pizza, a salad and 2 burgers set us back about $150.00 not too bad of a price. Either way good tasting beer but poor quality food so I give it a 2. Eat somewhere else then come here to drink.

This place is great. The people are always friendly, the food has always been great, and the beer is consistently delicious. If you go at a busier time, they will have a bit of a wait, but if you have to stand around and have a beer or two while you wait for a table to open up, I can think of worse things. Good for brunch and dinner.

Great place to grab a drink and some food. Lucked out and made it in for the honey / strawberry jacket tappings. Place was jam packed and required some maneuvering to get around but after a short wait we were seated. My only gripe would be parking. We drove around the area for 10 min before a spot opened up 3-4 blocks away. Worth the hassle though.

What a great place. I had a burger that was the breweries take on a Big Mac and it was delicious. My Beertender was both nice and attentive. As for the beers I had 3 and they were all outstanding. Next time I'm in Chicago I'll be back. Great Brewery!

So much noise!!! Good food. The beer, of course, is fantastic. The cocktails were a wonderful surprise-- I didn't expect them to be so tasty. My only real complaint (and I suppose it is a big one) is the noise level. The bare walls lead to waaaaay too much noise reverberating through the open space of the seating area. It is too noisy for me to sit and enjoy a meal and conversation. If I were 23 and meeting people for drinks, I would probably still complain about the din. At 38, trying to have dinner on a date, I found the cacophony not only hindered conversation, it became a focal point of complaint and discussion.

Two stories with just beer upstairs. We went upstairs while waiting for a table. I liked the milk stout and the Johann bock. Not an IPA fan but liked the Sun Crusher a hoppy wheat ale. Friendly staff helped us buy tee shirts and got us a table promptly. Waitress was attentive and friendly. Food was average bar food. The main attraction is the beer (duh).

This is Chicago pride right here. Some talented brewers making some of the tastiest libations our city gets to enjoy. Check out the brewpub for an excellent sampling of some of the latest and greatest creations. Get in early enough to grab a bar or table, and enjoy the ebb and flow of cultured guests as they traverse the facility and you can take in Chicago!

The food is amazing. It's like a cruel dictator began an evil reign against good tasting food, and dominated the world. With everyone subjected to bland wings and dry meat- most gave up hope. But not all. Burning bright like a diamond, one restaurant dared to stand alone. They rose up, armed with smoked wings and locally sourced meat to combat the oppressive fast food tyrants. With sensible pricing, a welcoming atmosphere and hard working staff, a revolution was brewed.

Went here on a Saturday for a friend’s birthday! We has a group of 30 and gave them advance notice that we would be coming. They were able to reserve tables for us. The space is huge and very open, great spot for a party or game watching! The bartenders were super nice and the beer was great. Will be back!

Was really nice to be able to order beers and apps in the waiting area before or table was ready! The staff was very accommodating to our orders and changing plans (flight delays!). Good craft beers and yummy bar food. Fun and trendy atmosphere. I'm slightly hard of hearing, so it was a little loud for me between the music and the fact that the place was packed, but it wasn't enough of a problem too remove a star.

I'm a little disappointed in myself for not having written a review for this place sooner. It is one of my go to breweries. The beers they have on tap are all good and the food is just as good. I would highly recommend trying the burgers. I have been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience. The service is always good quick service and wont cost you an arm and a leg either. It is also in a good area surrounded by other bars and restaurants but you really wont even need all that as Revolution will leave you more then satisfied.

Great beer. So many things to try. Not all of them are amazing but they're interesting. Pro tip if you're into trying different beers, take advantage of the sample size pours. The food was good. We had mussels and Korean fried chicken. Both good but not amazing.

I'm a big fan of Revolution Brewery; my favorite beer is probably Anti-Hero. So was happy when we finally tried out the Brew pub. We arrived around 7pm on a Friday night and there was an hour wait for a table. They take your number and will text you so if you want you can go somewhere else to wait. We decided to find a spot to stand at the bar (it was full). For beer on tap, you can choose a pint or for $2 you can do a sample. We did a few samples of ones we hadn't tasted before settling on one to do a pint of. And at the end of the night we bought a six pack of one we can't easily find at the grocery store. At that point we were able to snag a couple stools at the bar and decided to just eat there. The soft pretzel was really good, then we had a pepperoni pizza and a hamburger. Both were good but we really came for the beer. Service at the bar was also great - friendly and attentive. I'd have no problem coming back.

This place is a beer wonderland! Tried several of their beers and liked them all, especially Jump Juice. The burger was delicious and service was great. They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait, but it's worth it. Slightly disappointed with the portion size of the fries.

One of my favorite breweries in the city and they continue to produce outstanding beers! My wife and I were married here in '17 and had one of the best experiences ever! The wedding planners and every single person along the way were all very professional, approachable and accommodating to my wife and I. The food was incredible, the space was unforgettable, the beer was amazing and the experience was one of a kind. Highly recommended for an event or for dinner/drinks in brewpub.

Heart of Revolution Brewing, excellent tasting beer on tap. Room is huge, it's a warehouse, loud - no soundproofing. My least favorite thing is that it's the smallest women's bathroom I've ever seen for such a large place - really unfair to have to wait for a stall in a 2 stall bathroom for a place that can hold hundreds of people. But otherwise, worthwhile to visit. You can bring food in, too.

Delicious food, good beer, good service. My only complaint is the noise level. The metal blasting out of the sound system made it so loud that everyone was practically shouting at each other to carry on a conversation. The Smoke Stack Pizza, Working Man Burger, and Pesto Chicken Sandwich were all above average. Make sure you try the signature Bacon Fat Popcorn as an appetizer.

I've been to Revolution several times and I've always had a pretty good experience. I've found brunch to be a bit hit or miss but the chilaquiles are legit.

They've got a great selection of good beers but I'm tired of bougie breweries that know they're good and lose sight of the connection and craft that differentiates local breweries from other bars. I want to be able to ask questions about the beer and take my time. Last time I was there I joined some friends at the bar that had already gotten beers and it took the bartenders 15 minutes to notice me, and then I felt pressured to just make a decision. I know they're busy but I've been a bartender in a crowded brewery and this just felt impersonal. I don't know if this is the management style or the people they hire but next time I'll get a 6 pack from the grocery store or get it half price across the street at Coles when they've got a keg.

Revolution is bigger than expected—really good bar and food is really good...nothing too special, but definitely solid. Not the hugest fan of the beers themselves, but I liked the sours a lot. The IPAs were nothing to write home about. Wings were definitely on par...Brussels sprouts not the best—a little undercooked. Cool hang out either way.
