REVIEWS OF Miller's Pub IN Illinois

Robert Davis

One of my favorite places to visit for a traditional pub experience. Sit at the bar, have a beer and enjoy the sights and sounds of a classic Chicago haunt. The Cobb salad will blow your mind, but you must like blue cheese everything if you're going to order it. Friendly staff and goo times. This place gets busy so be prepared to wait or make a reservation.

Aaron Bagley

iT's a great place to come to unwind. And let your hair. Eat. Have a. Cocktail. It's a top of line place. 5

Jessy Schrock

Such a historic piece of Chicago with great service and delicious food.

lee roberts

Chicken pot pie came highly suggest as their world famous pfft.... it’s only world famous because it was a can of cream of ckn soup with 2 peas, 1 carrot and 3 pieces of very very very small ckn!! When i complained to the waitress her response was “okay” and walked away no credit nothing completely rude and didn’t want to hear the customers complaint... the pot pie looks good but you should truly skip it!!!

Pat Schumacher

Est. 1935, Chicago legendary establishment, great old world exceptional service, quality food and friendly personalized staff

Jesse Vielbig

Our waitress was amazing! She was super helpful and wonderful. The food was awesome as well. They were busy, but that didnt seem to affect their good service.

Robert

Nice place. Surprisingly good food. Awesome reuben sandwich and great fries. Attentive service. Not a trendy atmosphere, but definitely a comfortable after-work spot. The bathroom situation needs some work. Will be back.

Tim M

Great atmosphere of this Chicago icon. Went several times over my week long trip and enjoyed the chicken pot pie and the corned beef hash with fried eggs on top. A must goto restaurant in Chicago!

Scott

Very cool downtown pub, food was delicious service was great!

dawn busch

Got the build your own burger and the rueben. Both tasty and filling. Waitress was friendly and helpful with helping us make our meal choices.

Kristi Luecke

Great Old School atmosphere!! Lots of old paintings & pictures. Dimly lit

Gabriela Morales

I ordered a hamburger with cheese and onions, they forgot to give me the lettuce and tomatoes I had to eat my cheeseburger plain, did not taste great. They were speedy on charging me for the extra ingredients but when it came to the basic stuff that should’ve came with they didn’t give me. Can’t believe I paid &15 for a burger I didn’t really fully enjoyed.

Brian Bejesus

Excellent beer selection. Wide array of food and a price range for everyone. The lighting here is very dark. Food was great. Had a corned beef sandwich and an IPA from Minnesota.

Pamela Green

Delicious food. But very cold inside.

Mary Cohodes

Great service and food. Fast, to. Try it if you are in Chicago.

Anthony

This place was a great place to eat lunch! Their pastrami is all prepped and cooked in house. It was the best that I've ever tasted. Definitely a must if you're visiting downtown.

Erik Watson

Loop standard. Stopped in during a museum visit. Hadn't been there since the 90s and it has hardly changed. BIG plates with...not quite so healthy options, but mighty tasty for a duck-in lunch. It's still a businessman's bar, from the 60s. Great atmosphere, good food, GREAT service. It's a fine place to go, if you aren't expecting too many options for wheat grass juice!

Pato Iturralde

Really good bbq ribs. The waiter was super nice and very friendly. Food came out very fast

Brian Wagner

We just ducked in here on a rainy Sunday afternoon to avoid the thunderstorms. So glad we did! We had chicken wings and drinks but they are the best wings ever. the service was fantastic. If you like an old school superclub, you couldn't do better

rob fischer

Classic bar in the loop. Delicious buffalo wings and other fried appetizers as well as a great beer list keep me coming back.

Pat Diaz

I came in for a beer after a long day in work, you walk in to a very busy, dimly lit but very atmospheric bar, I sat at the bar and was immediately handed a drinks menu, I asked the old timer server for his recommended local IPA, he gave me a goblet of ale with a smile on his face and said try that, I did it was outstanding, I stayed for a couple more and left a very satisfied customer. Thank you so much,,

Rebecca Beaven

Delicious! We were greeted by a man in a suit(!), and despite it being sports bar-ish, it was very sophisticated. Cheese curds were awesome, steak was cooked perfectly, and the housemade dressings were fabulous. Matt was a great server and it was an outstanding experience overall.

Michael Wilkes

The service is always great. They offer a variety of filling dishes and seasonal specials. The low-lit pub atmosphere is a very comfortable setting to me. I enjoy getting dinner here before I going to shows at Orchestra Hall.

Mark McKillop

Great food and service. Friends had the butt steak. Said it was great. I had ribs. Very good. I've had better, but very good.

Sarah Scherf

Great atmosphere and good food. Service was fast and friendly. A little pricey but for a downtown restaurant this is probably normal. Waitress was friendly and the gluten free choices for those in our party were clearly outlined on a special menu.

George Balcombe

I only had some drinks and apps over a business discussion. This place had a great atmosphere and our service was spot on. They had sports on the TV and the food was great.

Eric Tatum

Food looked amazing, will be back. Great spot to relax downtown.

Carol Still

Recommended by the theater security, this was a beautiful bar with lots of options to drink and eat. Busy, yet waitstaff were on top of it. Had a gluten free hummus plate that was loaded with carrots, celery, olives, hot picked peppers and a large thick slice of cheese. Perfect for a guilt free late snack.

Simon Waterman

It was just a casual stop off from attending the local star wars celebration convention and a well deserved drink. We met people from all over and the beer and service was just superb. If you fancy a drink after a 5* meal at excquers restaurant a few doors down and so glad we did. It was the perfect bar!

Sharise Thompson

Loved this place. Authentic Chicago pub. Great atmosphere. I didn't want to leave. Vicky, our server, was amazing. I live in Kansas City but I will return to this place again.

Mark M

There's something about this place. The interior is so old school Chicago. Leather booths, dark wooden walls, low lighting. Food is perfect. Huge menu and every time I've been I've loved what I had. Such a cozy place right downtown. Love it

Brad Gluszewski

An absolute gem in Chicago and a must visit while you are visiting. The outside is almost deceiving as it's fairly simple old school Chicago but the inside is absolutely beautiful. Staff are quick and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I had a bloody Mary and it was fantastic however if you don't like it too spicy let them know as it has a kick. The portions are huge. I recommend trying the calamari.

Linda Teplin

Old-fashioned iconic restaurant. American food, all prepared with fresh ingredients. Casual place, and open late, so good for after theater.

Alonzo Zattaran

Had a very delicious and reasonably priced dinner. I have frequented this restaurant oof and on since college back in 1980s. Miller's Pub has daily specials (tonight's was corned beef and cabbage) which is a dish I do love but tonight I opted for the Salmon and quinoa tabbouleh; which both perfectly prepared. I do not know if the decor has changed since much since I first started dining there and at times some sections are very dimly lit, but the place is always clean, always busy (even at lunch). I recommend it to any new visitors to Chicago (it's next to the historic Palmer House hotel) as well as any native Chicagoans that may have passed it up for more trendy establishments. The food is good and in great portion sizes and affordable.

Payne Choquette

I don’t leave reviews ever but this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time! Food was wrong no apology then tried to charge us more for a sandwich that we didn’t order! Ordered drinks at the beginning of dinner the drinks came after we were done with our food. Chicken was dry and bleh!

Mike B

Excellent food service and great beer selection.

Jeff Shedden

Food is great and the staff is super friendly. Had the beef bourguignon pot pie, and it was delicious. Was sad when it was finished. Finished dinner with a shot of Malört. Highly recommend!

Its a good one

The food was so good. We had sandwiches, I'm upset I didn't take a picture. The bread was amazing! Customer service was good. It's nice and dark in there cool but not freezing.

Tom Gebarowski

Our experience at Miller's Pub last week was terrific. Took some out of town company from England there on way to Mil. Park. The food was very good, the waiter friendly & professional with good recommendations. I recommend their ribs for a true Chicago dining experience!

Phil Mann

The food was good. Service was ok could have been better for the price.

Gina N

Great food, great service, and love the atmosphere! It was cool to think that Marilyn Monroe could have sat in the same booth I was in!

Adrian Dyer

Best restaurant and pub. Excellent services. Decor is so beautiful and the interior of the restaurant is just amazing. Variety of food and drinks are available at reasonable price. Surely i will come again.

Theresa Paradowski

The service was top notch. The space was air-conditioned and the darker lights gave it a quieter ambience on a hot Saturday and the food was delicious!

Adam Kroeger

Food and service was fantastic.... great place to watch nfl games

Sandy Ulrich

Food was pretty good and service was great! I had chicken sandwich which was ok, group I was with had Reuben and the BBQ burger which they said were great!

Margaret Nitschman

Miller's Pub is a go to Chicago spot whether you live here or are visiting. I am never disappointed with the food and service it usually attentive and friendly. Try the ruben, meatball sandwich, Greek salad, you really cant go wrong.

Cheryl Black

Miller's is a staple in downtown Chicago. Food is well prepared, service is good & the choice of brews is very good. Atmosphere is classic.

Nolan Small

Incredible food! Great atmosphere and great service even when it was very busy. A fun mix of formal and casual.

Jan Yates

Good food, great service, nice selection, somewhat noisy.

Catherine Walsh

We had a fabulous dinner on 4/28/19. After a long week of Navy graduation and touring the city, DAVE our waiter was just what we needed. His quick witted, comical presence was perfect. The food was great and well priced. Definitely recommend!!

David Schmidt

Blech. Expensive shrimp was tough. Salad was too much iceberg. Service was slow. I will never eat here again.

Moochies Colliers

Nice place. It was pouring rain when we arrived. We were greeted right away. Lana was our waitress and was so personable. The food was very good and portions were very generous. We had a Chicago Ale that was very good as well. Prices are reasonable and the ambiance is very cozy and traditional.

George Bliss

THE place to see Celebrities from Sports, And Movie Stars. Tony Bennett, Vince Vaughn, Mitch Trubiskey and Many Others. Voted among the Most Popular Restaurants in the USA! The BBQ ribs rate 11 on a Scale of Ten. Do not miss this place. It’s the Loops most friendly place to gather.

Will Piester

Wandering around, checking out the sites we stopped in because we thought it was just a pub. Very nice medium to upscale feeling place. Best BBQ burger I think I've had. Definitely plan on going back!

Christine Canty

My dad and I order the chicken pot pie, they only make so many a day so you have to ask if they're still available. It was very delicious. The bathroom is extremely small for the size of this establishment. Our server was friendly but was trying too hard to be funny which came off is annoying. I know it says Miller's Pub, but there really is no reason to have the radio on oh, because it is so loud in there from people talking you can't even hear it.

Gregory Carter

Called yo confirm kitchen was open late, (1:30 am close). Arrived at 10:15. Got seated by a friendly host then we were forgotten. Countless servers looked us in the eye but never came to help. We had to get the host to track down a willing participant who, was very friendly. Section confusion she said. Our meal was served “on the fly”.......then we were back in the black hole of the forgotten. Trip two to the host who was shocked to see us again. A good ten minutes and still no one. A comment overheard by a passing server who knew we were very unhappy was kind to comment that “he didn’t do it”. Trip three to find us some help resulted well. We got a drink refill!! There were tables all around being well cared for. I guess if you aren’t the server assigned to that table, you’re on your own! The food was fabulous and deserved a 5 star. Service was the worst I’ve ever endured.

Doug Brooks

This used to be a place that I would recommend, but not anymore. Food was okay, but not great. It took over 1/2 hour to get a seat since I was by myself. They apparently didn't want to waste a table for one only person. Several parties came in after me and were seated ahead of me. They did finally find an empty booth in the back next to the kitchen, so time for me to move on.

Erik Foreverfreeone

Great food the blackened grouper sandwich with really good not the best I ever had living in Florida for 20 years but very good fish and chips for excellent nice and crispy fish done well on the inside could selection of beer Kevin the bartender was awesome and very personable I definitely will come back to this place next time I'm in town!!

Erevan Ilesere

Nice place, kind staff. Ribs were really delicious. Very good and large selection of draft beers but, unfortunately, my white beer arrived with no head (foam) on the top, as it should be served.

Justin

I come up to Chicago from Indy a couple times a year. I love seeking out new local spots to eat - let's face it: Chicago is a foodie's paradise. This trip, we were celebrating my son's birthday and we went for a random walk last night around dinnertime. We saw Miller's across the street. I will say that from the host, to our waitress, the food to even the busser at the end...everything was excellent. There's something about the coleslaw...it's incredible. The 4-Alarm Burger gets my recommendation for anyone looking for a little bit of heat in their life. I would have no issue swinging through Miller's on my next trip to Chicago.

Edward Mcloughlin

Holy moley best everything bar, bartender, the look, the story. Met great people. Will be going back to eat next trip.

Patricia Ross

Went here for my 25th Wedding Anniversary after leaving the Chicago Jazz Festival. The ribs were as good as I remembered and I'd not been here for dinner in 30 years! My husband had the fried catfish, which was tasty as well. Our server was busy but attentive, and the food was piping hot.

Jessica Fankhauser

We visited Miller's when we were in town for a wedding. I loved this place! It's very charming, menu looked great, and our bartender Tony was awesome. Made us feel right at home!

Rafael Gonzalez

Good pub albeit VERY busy throughout the day. Had the ribs platter with mashed potatoes and onions rings at the bar with a Negrino. Natalie the Bartender was fantastic!

Jim Curry

Not expensive. This is Chicago unchanged from 40 years ago. Professional bartenders that know how to make old style drinks. Good food at a reasonable price. We come back here often

Troy McCue

Great food at a decent price. Our first time here. We will come back!

Jason Fields

Excellent service and great food! The waitress asked if we had any place to be or needed to be finished at any particular time, and she made sure our (nearly unreasonable) request was met. It was amazing!

Eric Martz

Service was great. Food was delicious. We just had a couple appetizers. But despite the prices, they actually serve like a high end restaurant. Highly recommend.

Le Minh Quan - Official

Great burgers, crowded but staff was able to handle with ease. Food came reasonable time, patty was juicy. Waiter was Attentive, what more can I ask. Sample a few items, had the Truffle burger muchroom, tasted great, had the Club sandwich, tasted awesome, tried a custom burger and was perfect. Will return. Recommend.

Robyn Johnson

Fun a place of history, nice menu with good variety

Randall Cook

Classic old school restaurant and bar. Excellent burgers, fries, and pork chops. Attentive service. Convenient downtown location. It's a great place to visit if you want the classic Chicago feel.

Marjorie Jean

Super fast and old school environment. I ordered a 4-alarm burger with Jalapenos. It was the perfect amount of heat to a burger. My husband ordered Greek salad and cleared his plate and he said it was great!

Tim Heckler

Me and my family has been to Miller's pub several times, and this time we were very disapointed.the chicken we orderd was very dry, and the burger was under cooked, the bread was hard. This is not what me and my family expected from Miller's pub.nit to mention the terrible wait staff. After all that the bill was $ 93.17

Steven Frey

A fav spot for american food. cool place to meet and catch up with coworkers. definitely worth a return trip. prices were reasonable. feels similar to a restaurant in new york i loved.

Christopher Chang

Good food and good drink selection. The staff seemed overwhelmed when we were there since it was on a busy night. The service ended up being slow and we had to wait about 40 minutes for our food. Not sure if this is typical. The atmosphere was nice other than that. The restaurant was nice and spacious and had enough room from the other customers.

Scott Zierler

Great food, great service. Crazy fast! Had the fish and chips. The cole slaw that came with the dinner was some of the best I have had!

Chicken Lady

We have been going here for a long time. The ribs and steaks are absolutely fantastic! Their service is beyond great! The tiramisu is delicious! Recommend this restaurant 100%!

Stephen Reginald

Great neighborhood place; good food, great service. The fries are excellent.

Rebecca Bingley

Great service, great food! The truffle mushroom burger was fantastic! The 4 alarm burger was also yummy! The fresh jalapenos add an extra crunch. Highly recommend!

Dave V

Good beer list, tasty food, good service, feels like a bar should. Comfortable. A gem in an area that still feels like Chicago.

Jennifer Chrisman

The prices are very fair for the Chicago standard. The wait staff is experienced on the ball. The bar is a cozy happening area. This is a must when I am in town. Thank you for the great service.

Traci Humphries

Love their burger topped with an egg! You shouldn't leave there hungry & great service too!

akshiev dhawan

Service was slow. No one bothered to serve us after first round. I went and saw the host to guide their attention to our abandoned table, and our willingness to order food and another drink. Left after waiting for 15 minutes.

Graeme Crawford

Fine selection of beers local and national, attentive and friendly service. Really enjoyed the fries. Cooked to perfection in the middle, nice and crispy on the outside.

Brian Balfour

Fantastic service and quality food, drinks and dessert. Would definitely come here again when visiting the CIBC Theatre.

Jim Keplinger

We liked them so much we've eaten here four times in as many days. Fast, affordable, fantastic food.

Amy Harvey

Great food selection from lamb to burgers! Craft beer selection is fantastic! I will be back!

Elaine Arnold

Ask Tony for a Plantation Old Fashioned. Hands down the best drink we had during our trip and the one I wish had in front of me every night.

Peter R

It all depends on your expectations, right? We had just off a train from CA earlier that afternoon and just seen a tiny bit of Chicago - walked around a little and had some dinner. We sat at the bar to have a final beer of the night. The bartenders were great. They told us about the beers, gave us some tastes and were very gracious. We didn't eat, but I definitely recommend the bar for beer. We didn't have any cocktails, but our neighbors did, and they looked great.

Ashley Oriet

The menu was very reasonably priced, staff was amazing, the food came so quickly and it tasted amazing!! A 15 minute wait around dinner but worth it absolutely.

Sara Casperson

My companion summed it up by saying 'this is where the locals eat'. Realistic prices, straight forward entrees and generous portions for being in/near the loop. Amazing beer and wine selection.

Elise Condamin

Generous and tasty food. Lovely service. Highly recommended.

Xiling Zhang

Had my first pub experience in Chicago there. Nice selections (esp. Goose Island Matilda). Had the delicious bbq ribs there with which I was very satisfied. It was served with genuine colesalw and fries, and it was very reasonably priced. The guy who served me was very friendly and informative. Highly recommend!

Euftis Emery

Great food and drinks at reasonable cost in the loop

Karen O'Shea

Great night thanks! Service was great Wine and food great.

Stephen Stadler

Service is always on point, food is delicious, and the drink selection is varied.

Kevin B

Food was incredible, best place around for great food and drinks

bogue sound

Classic pub. The chilled metal salad bowls are a nice touch that really takes me back. Delicious steak, burger, Greek salad, and outstanding ribs. Top notch service.

Daniel Krause

Miller's pub is amazing! It has the most amazing food and drink. They have draft on tap and their sandwiches are awesome. I had the Reuben and my wife had the lamb, both were so very good. It is a little dark but that is the atmosphere and goes along with the whole chicago pub style. I would recommend this to anyone, just because the food is amazing. And it is in the heart of Chicago which makes it convenient to pop in and have some food and then get back to having fun!

Nicephorus Maslov

The best part was our server Kristin, I don't know how you remember all those facts on so many beverages & entrees!! Great pub food, we had the fish fry & the ribs/chicken combo & it was great, also loved the craft beer selection as a cider drinker, nice to have choices beyond the usual Angry Orchard!

Juliet McKay

Quoted an hour wait, but was able to slide into a table at the bar. Service was good. Lamb sandwich was delicious. Burger cooked perfectly, but needed seasoning. My daughter had the spaghetti/ ravioli combination, which had a lot of water in the bottom of the bowl. She still enjoyed it. Food prices for the things we ordered were lower than expected. They also have an interesting beer selection. I'd go back to try the ribs.

Anthony Trinh

I have literally eaten here at least 10 times in the past month and can honestly say everything I've eaten here was delicious. The quality of food is unmatched for the price and portions you'll receive. The menu specials change daily so in my 10 visits, I have never eaten the same thing twice. Except for the Key Lime Pie which is the best I've ever eaten in my life (I've had this 4 times and counting.) Everyone who works here is super nice and love food as well. I will bring every single person who comes to Chicago. They have the best carrots, the best Key Lime Pie, Italian Chicken was succulent, the Pork Chops - WOW, all the fish dishes and even the cole slaw is way too good to be healthy. I love the food here.

Hugh Allspaugh

This place is storied and busy. Cops eat here. Tourists. Business people. It’s usually pretty busy. Food is safe. Did not try the steak. Good bar.

Fabian Fermoso

I’ve been here more than 10 times.. I did promise myself to eat Hamburger only in this place, because I consider it the best-in-class!!! So, I dont eat burger often anymore for that, but sacrify really worth!! It is a busy place but never delay orders and quality of service is incredible. Bloody-Mary + Beer + Burger here is my habit when visit the town...

Benjamin & Heather Wilkinson

Came at about 1130a on a Saturday... GREAT atmosphere superb wait staff, excellent food quality and the portions are exceptionally large. Also not a bad price at about a 12/14 dollar average. EXCELLENT selection of local craft beers and a wide selection of specialty beverages. The drink menu also features a very cool history of Millers Pub.

Cory D. D. Miller

We started our night off at the United Center with a Bulls game and ended up at Miller’s Pub because we were staying at the Palmer House. Little did I know we were finding a fun little slice of heaven. The four of us ponied up to the bar and were greeted with friendly and fast service. I ordered my standard Vodka Rocks and asked for a double. I was then met with my favorite line of the night, “If it’s on the rocks, it’s always a double!” Made my heart smile. We then started watching the Dodgers game and it went downhill from there. After a few rounds of drinks we migrated to the menu were we started to demolish some cheese curds and fries calamari which I would highly recommend. Fun atmosphere with a lot of space. Check this place out for some post game drinks and snacks.

Jonathan Carter

A historic restaurant located just outside of The Palmer House hotel. It has great feel and ambiance, the menu is a mixture of American style with some Greek offerings as the owners are of Greek decent. I had the Greek salad and it was a lot of salad to eat. I didn’t finish it, I also had the green peas and ham soup which was delicious. Willie our waiter was a pro! The prime rib sandwich and hamburger plate was also good. I’d recommend this place for a cool experience in a nice environment.

Chris Trechter

Fast and friendly service in a historical and relaxed atmosphere. The food isn't going to change your life but we also weren't unhappy with what we got.

Phil

One of my favorite places to visit for a traditional pub experience. Sit at the bar, have a beer and enjoy the sights and sounds of a classic Chicago haunt. The Cobb salad will blow your mind, but you must like blue cheese everything if you're going to order it. Friendly staff and goo times. This place gets busy so be prepared to wait or make a reservation.

Dave O'Driscoll

After a long morning and afternoon of shopping and sightseeing we stopped at Miller's for a beer and a seat. We chose to sit at the bar but it was pretty packed. The place looked really nice so we got a table in the back, upstairs. I wanted to be a little closer to the action but, hey, you don't always get what you want. We were seated by a surly looking gentleman who, from his mannerisms and facial expression, reminded me a little of Ed Sullivan. He didn't say anything after showing us to our table. Our really jovial and attentive waitress arrived and took drink order and left some menus. All the while "Ed" and another waitress were alternately arguing about something and b!tching about other people working there. It was pretty entertaining stuff. Other people might have been put off by it. I got the lamb sandwich and it was really good, thick slices of meat with lettuce, coleslaw, tomatoes and a pickle on crusty French style bread. The fries were just the basic type that I think might have been store bought but they were delicious. I washed it all down with a New Belgium "Fat Tyre" beer. Their beer menu is pretty decent. I like the interior and the vibe from the place. It had a nice hubbub from all the folks finishing work or meeting friend and having a good time.

Kevin Mosier

Our server, Anne was awesome. Food was all right.

ivan irizarry

Great place I will be going back soon

Paul Tolar

Pretty good food at a pretty good price.

Sean Griggs

Awesome food, atmosphere and staff. I highly recommend a first experience for those that never went here!

John Kryl

Good filling food. An old time downtown restaurant.

Tom Posz

We just had a couple of drinks, but great bar, great atmosphere. If you are out late, they are open late, but don't believe everyone who tells you they have food at 3 am.

Carly Nelson

Wonderful and funny bartender - glad we stopped in!

Charlie Graham

Best bar in the loop. I'm always happy to visit Kevin, my favorite bartender, and enjoy his witty conversation over a cold beer.

Sandeep Solanki

I love this place, great place to chill and have fun. The food is amazing. Busy almost all the time but a jolly ride. The beer collection is different and in other words horribly good

Elizabeth Uchiyama

With its old school dark wood panels and last century charm, Chicago's icon under the L on Wabash, Miller's Pub, is famous for its steaks and chops. My husband had a glorious prime rib cut 1" thick and served pink in the middle. Their full bar is a popular meeting spot for business professionals and I love it during Christmas season for the Tom & Jerry's. Not a meat eater? They also do great fish, I had the perfectly done white fish almondine. Soup or salad and a side come with the dinners and there are daily specials.

Bob Kohus

This place was just awesome. Exactly what we needed after a long day in the city. Great food, prices, and environment

Joe Jackson

Many dishes are excellent (Leg of Lamb, etc.); others average to below (tomato sauce based items etc.) Speed of service is very good as they prepare many dishes ahead of time, and serve them just-in-time. Good job. The place is fairly loud, and not just in the attached open bar area. The thing which is a cause for pause here is, when getting seated, the wait staff is very impersonal, and any slightest request (more quiet area, away from kitchen traffic, etc.) is met with disdain, and you are made to feel they are doing you a favor, and that they are giving you the privlege of eating at Miller's Pub. We experience this 100% of the time when we choose Miller's. I know this is somewhat of a Chicago thing - think Ed Debevic's - to allow yourself to be treated poorly by waiters in the name of expediency, so it's understandable. Just remember, your $ is as valuable as any Chicago bigwig.

ChykgowMan

I had a good time the first time I went, but I left early my last visit. My sister and I were left waiting for over a half hour when the place wasn't even crowded. All we ordered was a salad and a burger.

Darlene Ransom

Visited for the first time. Server was spot on. I’ve been big on craft sour beers, and she let me sample before committing to the entire pint. Thankfully I might add as I didn’t care for it. Place was busy, but clean. We were in and in a decent amount of time.

Michelle Leight

I feel like this bar is a hidden gem in the city. Both times I've gone (both Friday nights), there weren't many people present. However, the music is always bomb and the space has a small dance floor at the end of the bar. It feels really cozy and safe, and people are always really friendly and chill here.

Josh Martin

Our server (Keith) was great and saved our afternoon with how good he was with the kids! The food was also amazing!

shota ioramashvili

Excellent food and services. Very nice atmosphere. Greatly recommend

Colleen Paddock

We had tix to Hamilton & we told them we running late due to traffic & only had 40 minutes. We were seated immediately and our waiter Jon got us our food w/in FIVE minutes. Absolutely high class service!! Annnd..our food was amazing!

Lonnell Butler Jr.

Extremely friendly service. Great food. Strong drinks. Great atmosphere. No complaints.

Dori Bawcum

The food was very good but the service!? The server we had, tho looked very experienced, was hard to find and very confused he shod stick to single tables and leave bigger parties to someone else

Nick Orizondo

This place was good. Amazing services. Great atmosphere. Everything well organised. Food was good.

Donna C

Omg worse place I have ever been. Sat at the bar 20 minutes no service. Got a table. Ordered food and never got a waiter again. Absolutely awful. The service was non existent. We had to flag down the other servers to get drink refills. And the food wasnt good. The fries were soggy the bread was greasy and saturated. The salad had full grapes. Would not recommend to anyone

Jason Nwosu

Not bad for a place in the Loop. A bit on the pricey side but wings are solid (12 for $15). Good for lunch with a coworker or just visiting the downtown area.

Michael Judge

Some of the best fried cheese curds I had in Chicago

Theresa Vickers

The best service we had in Chicago. Our server was awesome. Loved my Greek side salad and whitefish. The salmon was good too. Drinks were very good (french martini). I'd go back.

Jeremy Flowers

Great establishment! Regular lunch stop, the rubin is amazing. Friendly hostess and the servers are great.

Buddy Hawkins

Ate lunch here today. Very nice and quiet atmosphere. Delicious food and an awesome variety of liquors. Highly recommend if and when you get a chance
