My friend and I ordered Carryout. She ordered the salad with chicken and feta etc with a strawberry vinaigrette!!!! And they didn't put the dressing on the salad or on the side in a container.

Always have a good meal here, however this time around they did overcook my steak. When they asked me how everything was I was honest and let them know. They asked if they could fire me another one but I refused and ate the one I had. Before we left the manager came by to apologize and offered us a free desert to take home which we also declined. I just appreciated the professionalism and willingness of the staff to attempt to correct the situation. I'll be eating there again in the future. Everything else we ate was prepared to perfection. Thank you Longhorn.

Been coming to this Longhorn for years! Always ask for Nick for your server if he is available as he is THE best! The Parmesan Chicken is the best item on the entire menu. Drink specials are fairly priced, as well. Whether you dine in or take out, you’ll get very speedy service.

Absolutely perfect! Having been in customer service for the last twenty years, this evening was a rare experience . After a brief delay in my order not one but two house managers came to apologize for the delay. I was in absolutely no rush at all . David and Tonya provided absolutely perfect service, along with good humor. The house comped my check which was completely unexpected! Excellent food, excellent service and good people. My wife's favorite place to eat. Not keen on the wait every time we go. We are always an odd number to seat and it drives me crazy that we always have to wait 45 minutes to sit, especially when party after party is set after us. Service is good but for a steak house, steaks should be cooked correctly the first time out

It was horrible. All the tables were dirty and there was a 15 minute wait. We decided to sit at the bar after they cleaned a place for us. After waiting 10 minutes without a drink or even a glass of water, we left and went to the Texas Roadhouse nearby.

The steaks and prime rib here are excellent for a chain restaurant. Longhorn isn't a 5-star restaurant and it doesn't have 5-star steaks. But, on a budget, you're going to have a really good steak dinner, in a very nice setting, with fast, friendly service. And you won't spend a fortune! Recommend you come hungry, as portions are generous.

I can start off by saying my steak was cooked perfectly. It was delicious. When we walked in the door the smell could have knocked you down. It was the whole lobby area. It was horrible. Our wait was supposed to be for 40 mins, but thankfully we only had to wait for about 10 or 15. When we were sat, the whole dining room had a moldy smell. It was pretty strong and made our allergies act up, nose and eyes itch.

Usually this place is pretty good but the last time we went.it took forever to get a drink.our food was not even warm enough to melt the butter on the potato..I had to ask several for a fork. .Thank goodness my husband did get a salad so I could have his other fork. We did complain and all the said was oh we're a little busy. I think for family events we will go some where else

Dirty. Great cook on the sirloin BUT goopy stuff underneath the pepper cracker that looked and felt like it had been sat in mayo and had rubberised.... to get pepper contaminated if I hadn't seen it, and used it, bent fork, overly sweet sweet tea that they realised after and had to start fresh batch, horribly dry prime rib sandwich. Inedible as a leftover when brought half home. Slow service and left dirty dishes and glassware holding bad tea on the table even after bringing new tea later. Meh....may be a one and done. My first visit. Bottom line is about the lack of overall cleanliness. We got the when they opened on a Sunday, meaning we were one of only few people in the place and customer service was poor from hostess and waitstaff and they clearly don't have cleanliness accountability for side jobs on staff. No one is checking the table setups.

Got a bad Prime Rib. Both my son and myself smelled it when it came and after tasting it knew it was bad. 90min later it's all I can taste. Though they did comp my meal they wouldn't own up to the failing. Saying that the cook and manager said there's nothing wrong with the meat. Very disappointing. If they had acknowledge the bad smell (it was rank) and apologized I would have given 3 stars.

I love the steakhouse they have fantastic food and so far I have gotten my steak cooked the way I ask it to be cooked every time consistently. Many other steakhouses I have been at I will ask for medium rare and get medium instead but this place actually knows what they're doing. They are very decently priced and are pretty quick with the food compared to other restaurants of the same caliber. I recommend it to anybody. I'm not sure how it would work for large groups of people of 10 or more because it already seems pretty crowded but I'm sure they could accommodate

We had a group of 12. So we had 6 people on each side. We all ordered at the same time, one side of our table got our food. The other side of the table didnt get their food until the first half was more then done. The food was ok. Not worth $110.00. Then the server told us to have an awful rest of the night cuz my half of the group only tipped her 20 bucks I could have saved $75 and got some meijer steaks and been more satisfied at home

Was disappointed this Easter evening I ordered the 12 oz Prime Rub Dinner. My salad was delicious as well as the Bread. When I started to eat my Prime Rub I noticed it was very fatty. It was at closing time so I ask for a doggy bag. When I got home I went to eating the rest of it and it had so much fat on it i couldn't believe it. I put all the fat in a bag from a produce Dept of Kroger's. I weighed it and it's 5 OZ of fat from a 12OZ cut. So really I ended up with a 7 OZ Prime Rub. Now I know that Prime Rub has fat on it but I think this was to much. I paid $33.00 and left if on the table because the waitress wasn't in site. The Hostess said it ok to go. I wasn't thinking so I left without a receipt for the meal.

I had not been to any LongHorn location in a few years simply because I moved and there isn't one near me. I had always liked LongHorn but with so many restaurants slipping on quality these days, I didn't know what to expect. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and service at this location. I went with a large group of about 16 people during their peak time in a Sunday afternoon and no one missed a beat. The experience was just excellent and I definitely plan to visit again the next time I'm in the area.

Typical burger and fries. Certainly nothing here that really set it apart. $20 with tip, which is about what I'd expect to pay. I know I went to a steak house and ordered a burger, just happened to be what I wanted. Friends got the strawberry chicken salad, which didn't seem too over the top either. All these places are the same to me. If it's around and friends want to go, I won't jump for joy, but I won't say no.

The meat at this place has more salt on it than I-75 after a snow storm. Not sure what is going on here but you might as well lick a salt block and save your money. The food wasn't this bad last time I ate here. They must have gotten a new chef that doesn't know that there are other seasonings besides salt. Management does not care either... This place is cruising down hill fast. Its like they're competing with outback for the bottom.

If I could give a no star I would. Came here to try it for the first time. Since it was 10 and they close at 11 we rushed here and they told us to wait a minute for our table and it was 5 mins later and we still weren’t seated at our table. HIGHLY disappointed!!

Be prepared to wait a little if you choose to go during primetime dinner between 5-8pm, but it's worth the wait! The server staff are very attentive and come to you asking if you'd like a refill. The food and mixed drinks are perfectly paired together to give you the best of both worlds in taste. Every time I've gone, I've tried something new and I have yet to be disappointed.

Today we went out for a dinner at our local Longhorn restaurant and we were so disappointed with our meal size and service . Very small portion sizes _rice , the same size as a ranch sauce CUP. When i asked for some extra rice they called a manager (QUANISE KNUCKLES was hiding her name tag) she told me that she can't give me extra rice but offered to charge me for an additional portion. I told her that last week when I was dining out at the same restaurant they didn't have any problems with bringing some extra rice to me to make a regular customer happy. to that she replied that it has been a new managment for a year and now she will have to change me money for extra rice. That's just outrageous!! Not only that they reduced a portion size and askd their customers to pay for some extra rice as if it was an additional portion of rice, they charged me for an16 oz stake not a 12oz stake that ordered, hoping that I will not noticed. Horrible experience today! Very rude and disrespectful manager! Ruined my mood for the rest of the day.

I hardly ever leave a review, but thinking I do on this. My wife and I were in Portland for a few days and decided to eat at the LongHorn in South Portland. Everything started as you would expect good service polite people, we ordered there stuffed mushrooms for a starter than ordered our entree’s, we received our mushrooms we ate them than the last one my wife looked down and there was a long black hair baked into the top of the mushroom. They tried to handle it the best way they new how, comping meals and giving us $30.00 in certificates, we refused the meals and left. The biggest problem with this is my wife was there a couple of months ago and they had hair in there than also, I would say that is a problem. Hopefully they can fix the issue.

Order a two entrees: A steak, baked potato, and Steakhouse Mac and Cheese; parmasean chicken, salad, and mashed potatoes. Waited 30 minutes for a pick up order and food was all cold. On top of that the medium rare steak I ordered was a heavy well done. I have never had a bad experience with Longhorn but this location was absolutely disgraceful and I will avoid it like the plague when I come back to the area.

Restaurant is always clean, service attentive. For a chain restaurant, I really love the food here so much. I always get a steak and my wife gets the Parmesan crusted chicken that she shares with me (because it’s huge) and we both always get the mashed potatoes. Get it with a salad and eat the table bread and you’ll be stuffed at a good price. We have eaten here many times, the closest we ever had to a problem was a Friday night Valentine’s Day where we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table, I ordered one of the cheaper steaks and they brought me the most expensive steak on menu— I told them I couldn’t afford it but they told me not to worry. I was sweating waiting for the bill hoping they would only charge me for the cheaper steak. I got the bill and my steak was free! and of course it was like the best steak I’ve ever eaten in my life.

Also tried the portabella mushrooms with white cheddar for an appetizer, its terrific. Our waitress was Monique and what a pleasant young lady. My husband and I prefer this restaurant over all others and we frequent here a lot. That being said, this particular location makes me frustrated because I can never order steak. I like mine "Well Done", which, according to their menu, is cooked all the way through with no pink. I have ordered steak 3 times in the last year and every time, it has to be sent back. On one occasion, it had to be sent back three times before it was "no pink". The other times, it went back twice. They cooked my previously cooked steak further, which made them more tough. However, since it was no more pink, it was left with me by management and no compensation was ever considered. Even though my husband was halfway, or better, through his meal by them time mine returned. No % off our bill, no compensation on our appetizer, not even an apology. We were there tonight, 3/19/19, for our 20th Anniversary and tonight was my third steak incident. No apology, husband halfway done with his meal (at my request because why should he eat cold food just because I wanted a steak that a steak restaurant should be able to cook?!) and no thought to compensate us at all. Disappointing.

This place has exceptional service and is extremely well-managed. Our server asked us if it was our first time here, which it was, and the manager came over and comped our appetizer. We had a Texas Tonion which is a huge serving size and very yummy. My husband got a big fancy steak with fries and I got a small sirloin with lobster Mac and cheese. Both steaks were cooked perfectly and came out very quickly. The Mac and cheese might be the most delicious thing I've had in a while. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be going back myself.

I have had several meals here. Generally speaking I would say it's on point. Although, my latest experience was subpar to say the least. Poor table service, disinterested server, my steak was completely over cooked - twice - and the shrimp was cold. BUT like I said, they had been really good in the past so maybe this was just an off night? Decided to come here for a quick business related dinner with a colleague. Longhirn generally has a good reputation throughout their chain so thought it was a nice choice. We were promptly seated and it was fairly busy for a Wednesday night. It was a little annoying to get one menu that was missong a page (only showing apps and steaks, no other entrees) and when i mentioned to the waitress, I got the "well sometimes thst happens answer" instead of any mention of an apology. There seemed to be a little more shall we say "snarkiness" emanating from her up until our food was ready, and that is coming from me the New Yorker lol (to be fair, her attitude did improve later). The food was very good but the biggest issue was that it was too cold in the restaurant where you could see other patrons keeping their jackets on to stay warm.

The good- the food is always excellent and you don't have to wait asking time for it. The service there has always been friendly and we feel welcome there. They respect and take care of the veterans. They have reserved parking and discounts for veterans. The bad-there has yet to be a bad experience here. The ugly- there aren't enough places who treat our veterans the way they do! Overall this is a great place to go and eat and if you're a veteran they will take care of you. We go Everytime were in town.

The food was good but this is not all that makes up the dining experience. The flat Ware was not clean at our setting, this can happen and we were not upset. We showed the server and she said she would replace it. We ended up sharing each other's utensils. We asked for a few other items such as more butter and coffee that didn't come until too late. This wouldn't have been an issue if it were busy but we were there at time when there was only 2 other tables. Just not a welcome feeling.

We went Mothers Day weekend and although we had to wait, we were seated quickly and given excellent service. My steak was cooked incorrectly but the issue was handled beautifully with the manager continually checking on us the rest of the evening. We will definitely be back!

Today my daughter ordered pineapple juice for my 2 year old grandson. When it arrived he took a sip of the juice and within seconds he became violently sick and began vomiting. His mother tasted the juice and it was fermented or they used a sour mix. Upon reporting it to the manager he came out with an unopened can of pineapple juice. He offered him seltzer water. Did not comp his kids meal. We were treated poorly and very disappointed. We will not return. He didn’t even come back to check on my grandson.

Service was fantastic. Went here for my mom's birthday. The hostess brought her a rose and they didn't embarrass her by making a scene and singing in front of the whole dining room. Food was prepared well. It was a little loud, so it was hard to speak with the server and carry on a conversation. Surprised they didn't have a gluten free menu.

After waiting 45 minutes go back up ask again and are told 15 to 20 again ... We bailed... Why have online check in if the time is no where near accurate?

Ordered a $22 strip medium rare. I needed to be shown a picture to make sure I actually wanted medium rare, which I sure did. Steak arrived medium well and super dry (steak weight?). I pointed it out to the server. They did offer to recook a steak, but they were slammed and the first one took 45 minutes, and was like shoe leather. I declined and ate some of the steak (don't judge, I'm a contractor and it was 7:30 PM, I would have eaten it if it was well done!). No visit from the manager who checked on the booths on either side of ours, but seemed to avoid eye contact with us. Look, if your going to call yourself a steakhouse, you should be seriously offended when a customer can't get a medium rare 12 oz strip. That is so basic to a STEAKhouse. Having been a manager of a casual style restaurant, I can tell you I would have offered to pay for the meal and give you a free one just for the chance to get it right. My advice, avoid this place, eat at home instead, and save it for one of our cities great, not fake, steakhouses.

My husband and I come here once a week. The food is always good and service is usually very good as well. We were there last night and our waitress seemed to be new and was a little frazzled. She forgot a few things but I have to say the Manager was top notch. He took care of everything and was very accommodating. The food deserves 5 star but the Manager deserves his own 5 star. I had one of the craziest experiences there. First of all there are no items on the menu surpassing mediocre so any poor service is a huge knock against a place like this. I had fried shrimp and two beers at this location. After my check but before I was done dining I was asked to leave. My second beer was bought for me by another patron, a wonderful Australian woman. There was a clear mistake by management. My bartender was called to the back and rudely reprimanded. When I inquired politely about why the manager had brought my bartender to tears I was asked to leave. When my departure was not expedient enough I was asked again to leave. There are so many places to go. If you're visiting a new town I would highly suggest you patronize a restaurant who cares for their customers and employees. It turns my stomach to see people being treated in such a way. Good thing you can't fake steak because the managers at long horn are fake enough.

Usually Longhorn's is the best but this one, the food was not very good. Steak was tough, milk was warm, broccoli was not cooked. Server was trying but struggling so I didn't complain. Employees seemed slovenly. Expeditor wasn't sure what table food should go to. I'm used to Longhorn's being more top quality. Perhaps it was just not a good night. I went early hoping it wouldn't be too busy but servers seemed busy and took awhile. Best part was the bread. It never disappoints.

I have to say we don't visit chain restaurants often anymore, there has been such a decline in service and quality overall. But our dinner here was really delicious. I had a strip special, ordered medium rare, came out more medium, but it was still tender and juicy and very flavorful. Our experience was made even better by excellent service from Dave. He was charming, funny, and professional. Dave, if you see this, HE was definitely the one eating all the bread! Thank you for a great dinner.

Sunday evening, party of 6, was seated within 10 minutes by friendly hostess. Server arrived at table shortly after. Salads and drinks brought out within a few minutes of ordering. Except for a couple of issues with the entrees, overall great experience. Sean the manager is always upbeat and constantly busy policing the dining room. If you are a steak lover, then you can't go wrong by choosing LongHorn Steakhouse as a preferred destination for your next fix. The atmosphere is perfect for both intimate dinners as well as groups. The service has been excellent every single time I've gone there. I only order one entrée from them: the 10 oz filet. Cooked to a absolutely perfect mid rare, each bite was a small piece of edible perfection. If you enjoy a great steak, do yourself a favor, or treat your significant other by heading to Longhorn sooner rather than later.

Interesting restaurant with Wild West historic context, including good photos, art and memorabilia. Drink selection is good. We explored the food but, what we tried, was fresh and well prepared. Service and organization is excellent. We appreciated having the bar dynamics separated from the quitter dinning area. Plenty parking space. About 5 minutes drive from O'Hare terminals and proximity to hotels around the airport. So you can drink and eat and the hotel shuttle will pick you up to return you safely back to your room. Similar to Australian Outback, but perhaps even better food and service quality .

This was my first visit here. My time of arrival was about 1:00pm. When I entered the lobby there was 4-5 parties in front of us but I was impressed how fast we was seated, maybe 3 min if that! The restaurant was very clean and well designed. It was very inviting and I felt cozy and comfortable. We sat in a booth and I enjoyed the comfort of the seat for sure. The restaurant was 3/4 full but not loud and we was able to hold a conversation without raising our voices wich was nice. Our order was taken within 2 min of our seating and our drinks came soon after. Our waiter was very pleasant and polite. I ordered the T-Bone that was highly recomended. Within minutes we recieved bread and butter that was absolutely to die for. I honestly never eat the bread as I am not a bread lover whosoever but i found myself having 4 slices. It had a beautiful worm thin crusty outside and a soft well cooked inside that melted in my mouth, (I may go back just for the bread alone!) Our meals came within 15 min and the steak was Cooked exactly the way I asked. The only complaint was the sides. The steak was wonderful ofcourse but my mashed potatoes where a poor compliment with my delicious steak. They tasted like boxed and to top it of I got very little of it. You had to ask for gravy and that as well tasted like from a jar. No veggies came with the meal wich was a total bummer. I had ice water with my meal and no dessert and I paid $34.00 which I feel was a little steep according to Gordon Ramsy's standards! ( I watch alot!) I visited the bathroom before leaving and it was spacious and well maintained. We received our check in a timely manner and I felt they deserved a tip for sure. I will return to Longhorn in the future!

Went here on Memorial Day. Got seated right away directly by the station where all servers put their orders in. Several wait staff walked by our table, some helped others, some cleaned up, but not one asked for our drink order or food order or even acknowledged we were seated there. Ordered the chicken strip that were recommended to me by two employees there. I received my plate the chicken strips were more like nuggets the fries where the worst I ever had so left them on plate talked and eat my chicken only to pay attention to the last piece and see blood pockets through the piece I wanted to puke they shouldn't have used that piece but I was horrified to think what I already ate. Told the waitress she offered other food yuk would never eat other food of theirs knowing how they gave me that chicken. Never took any discount off the bill for that worst food worst experience would never recommend or go back. Yuk yuk

I absolutely love the food here! My boyfriend and I go here at least once a week, most of the time twice! I get the sirloin, strawberry pecan salad, and mashed potatoes! Our fav appetizers are fried pickles, wings, tonions, and stuffed mushrooms. My fav restaurant by far!

Visited this location on Sunday. As we walked in the door I was surprised to see how dirty this place was. Dirty napkins and candy wrappers on the floor by host stand but no one cares. Came with 2 small children and promised 15 min eating time. Well, only took them 45 minutes to finally clean one of the dirty tables in half way full restaurant. NO ONE have a sense of urgency there. The whole place is really outdated and dirty. Our server was ok , he looked very tired and overworked. He did a good job on getting food to us quickly Anyway, if you want to enjoy Longhorn Stake House pick a different location.

Excellent steak after 1st one returned--1st time EVER returning a meal! Full on well done instead of medium. Ooopsie. Gracious server and manager whipped offending fillet off table & new one replaced within 10 minutes with numerous apologies--nearly embarrassed, but realized they were being very humble. 2nd steak was perfectly done and much more tender. No prob. I let them know I've done it plenty of times at home on the grill. Stuff happens. Tried to give us another iced tea & a dessert, gratis. No thanks. Plenty of food but appreciated their attentiveness and taking it seriously!!! Simply a mistake and great outcome in spite of packed house on weekday.

Hadn't been to Longhorn in years and decided to try the Outlaw Ribeye. I asked for it medium and that's how I got it. Decent cut of beef, sides were tasty and the service was pretty good as well. Why did I go so long between visits?

Had an interesting experience here Tuesday night. We are occasional customers of this establishment. Had ordered a meal to take out. As we often have gift cards for this restaurant we decided to take advantage of one of them. Time to pick-up the order. Nice young lady at the bar/pickup area made an attempt to slide our card to pay for the order. Unfortunately trouble ringing up the purchase. Manager came over to assist. For some reason our gift card just did not seem to work properly. Manager came over and asked approximately how much did I think we had on the balance of our card. Told her. Her reply was that it did not seem to coincide with the tally as shown on their register but so as not to hold me up Longhorn would absorb the cost differential which I think was about $7.00. Thanked her and out the door I went. As a retired businessman walking to the car with my order I thought to myself "these people know how to run a business." I am therefore writing this review and will undoubtedly pass this story along to friends. Oh, by the way, the New York strip streak was excellent.

Came to the Wyndham Hotel to stay before flying to Mexico for our honeymoon. Got hungry and the LongHorn Steakhouse was 179 feet away and it was calling our name. The smell of steaks were in the air and soon they were going to be in our bellies. We were ready to order but the menu had changed our minds. I went with the Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger and my wife went with the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. Choosing the Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger topped with applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy lettuce and pickles was the second best decision I made next to proposing to my wife. It was perfect. My wife's Parmesan Crusted Chicken with steamed asparagus and a house salad with ranch was superb. The food was amazing and the service was amazing. What a perfect way to start off our honeymoon! We were offered desserts, they all looked amazing, but we declined. Dessert was waiting for me back at the Wyndham.

My daughter and my grandkids and I went for my pre-birthday lunch. And everyone was extremely nice. We were trying to take a picture of us all; and the manager saw that we were having a little trouble trying to get everyone in. And he came to over and offer to take the picture for us. Our lunch was very good as well.

The service was slow, but that was just our server. This is there only place the reliably cold steaks the way you order them. Decent meal for the price.
