Always fantastic and great service. The beer range is really big and often refreshed. The staff are very knowledgeable and give you good advice. The best thing is always chicken wings though and the original is highly recommended with the cheesy fries. You can also order half and half portions of chicken wings allowing you to try more of the flavours.

During peak brunch times on a nice Saturday the wait time was only 20 ish minutes versus 2 hours elsewhere. That being said, a lot of tables were empty/left uncleaned which would have been enough to eliminate a lot of the waiting parties. The waitress was amazing. Great beer recommendations. Tasty boneless wings! I'd definitely go back.

Went there for the first time to watch the Bears game. I am from out of town, so made reservations for a larger party. As you can imagine, it was very busy because GO BEARS, so our table was delayed. They needed to wait for another party to leave (packers fans...) that game was going into overtime , so we were delayed again. They were very accommodating because of the delay. They comp’d is two apps and ended up giving us a gift card. Our server was amazing throughout the couple hours we were there. The food was great! Over all a great experience. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in the city.

Stopped in on Sunday afternoon. Very busy place. Eventually got a bar seat. Tried the poncho wings, with bacon roasted brussel sprouts on the side. Wings were great and sprouts were a nice combination. Will have to go back and try their burgers, as they looked quite nice also. Will try when less busy. Beers are on the pricey side. Taps all taken up by craft beers. Std fodder like bud/coors dont make the cut.There's a reason those sell well. Pretense aside, sometimes I want regular cheap crisp beer on the tap. They have bottles, but that's not the same either. Anyway, I will certainly go back for the food

Honestly the food here was surprisingly better than I expected. I thought it'd just be another place with bar food, but it tasted good. Definitely try the wings. As for their spiciest sauce, it's ok. It's spicy-ish, but if you are from a culture that values spicy food then you won't be too impressed. The spicy sauce doesn't really taste all that great either. But still fun to try.

There’s a great selection for everyone. We ordered wings to start and sandwiches for our meals. Cheesesteak was sliced ribeye and was excellent. Grilled chicken sandwich was also a good choice. Didn’t have any of the BBQ selections but the wings were definitely big and meaty. Various sauces and heat choices. Beer selection was also on point. Staff was patient and helpful. Nice relaxed place for a bite to eat or a few drinks

Came here on St. Patrick's day so it was super busy, but the service was still fairly quick, considering the enormous crowd. They recommend the wings, but I thought the wings were nothing special. I recommend the impossible sliders, which are plant based but taste like real meat and are super delicious and surprisingly filling.

The place was super busy, so we put our names in with the hostess. They have a very sophisticated waiting system that texts you, so you don't have to stay close or stand around waiting. It was a weekend, so it took awhile to get seated. The food was great, but our waitress not so much. This wasn't all her fault though, as she seemed to be covering way too many tables by herself. We had to run people down and catch other wait staff for drink refills. Food was very good though.

Great night, great food, and fantastic server (Michelle). We brought a group of 30 people with reservation and they seated us all together and we had one server who took care of everyone promptly, with accurate orders and bills. Ordered the Prohibition burger and had to try their famous wings. Wings were awesome as was the burger. My daughter loved her BBQ pizza pie, and my wife said the fish and chips and Cobb salad we're excellent, all were large portions and flavorful. Highly recommend the restaurant, the food options, and Michelle.

One of best wings in Chicago! My all time favorite is the firecracker and poncho wings. The burgers, nachos, and skillet corn bread are also awesome! Try the specials (wings, burgers, beer, etc.) of the month. Great for groups, carry out and they also deliver.

I visited while in town for work. Loud, fun, sports bar atmosphere. We tried to get a drink at the bar while we waited for a table and the bartender never came to us. We got seated and our waitress was efficient enough but not great. The wings were ok but the BBQ chips with blue cheese and scallions were really good. Basically, plan on spending quite a bit of time in this sports bar.

We love it here so much, we had our wedding brunch here a couple years ago. Our friends from out of town were impressed by the food. I am a hot wing addict and Jake Melnick’s is my go-to place. They serve a perfect, classic buffalo wing. The atmosphere inside is spacious, chill, and very conducive to rapid consumption of hot wings. The loaded fries are pretty good and are nice to have alongside your hot wings, especially with the sriracha mayo dipping sauce. The service is sufficient to allow you to eat your hot wings. HOT WINGS.

I used to come here almost everyday after work, ten years ago. We just went for dinner last night, and it hasn't changed a bit, which is great. They have the best wings of anyplace I've ever been. Definitely get ponchos wings, and the "xxx" is legit the world's hottest wing, no joke this could damage your mouth (they give you a fire mans helmet if you eat it!) They do terrific BBQ here, great beer selection, and a really good non alcoholic "pop" menu too. It's rowdy, sports oriented, and lots of fun!

Great wings, specifically the Poncho wings which are a nice dry rub wing that isn't breaded and isn't covered in sauce which is my preference. They have options that have wings both those ways too. A great beer selection and a TV for any sporting event you could want to watch! A great spot!

Our review is based on their ordering service; we ordered wings and chili on a Sunday evening, around 7:30pm to our hotel and we were disappointed that it arrived cold and not everything was there that we had ordered. We expected almost an hour for delivery but was pleasantly surprised when we received an email saying it would be there by 8:15. We figured it would be too good to be true. It actually came almost 40 minutes after their expected delivery time. Our food totaled to $37 and my husband tipped the driver $10 despite the hotel being only 5-10 minutes from the restaurant. We opted to not go out since we had our three year old son with us and thought delivery was the best option given the time frame. Unfortunately, It didn't come with any plates or silverware that we requested. Thankfully our hotel brought us some dishware but we didn't have a microwave in our room so we were unable to really enjoy any of the food. I'm giving it two stars on the bases of the flavor of the food but we went off the ordering service that was linked to the website. I'm not sure if other people had any issues but we've learned the hard way that delivery in the city of Chicago is awful.

Honestly, I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. I would only give it 0 but the system only allows 1. The chicken taste like it was made yesterday and then served to us. The ONLY thing that would I would give 5 star is the Brisket! Manager Patrick was very kind and made sure we were taken care of, but the food......NO!

One of the great places to have late night food at. I had been here with my friends, earlier this year, around Jan end 2018. Ambience here is excellent with some amazing music being played all the time. Tables are set up well so that you can have your time with the own group & won't get distracted by other patrons. I used to love the XXX wings. I'd order them at least twice a month. Now Chef Nick has raised the bar by adding the Carolina Reaper to create the all new XXXX wings. Tried them today for the first time and they were phenomenal!!! Perfect heat with amazing flavor combined with the best in-house made-from-scratch blue cheese dressing. It's a work of art and I'm already craving more!! Great job guys!!

Great spot for sports with friends. Wings are a little too big (didn't think it was possible) and the beer is very expensive for the size. For example, pseudo sue is $12 for a very small glass. The PB&j wings are delicious, though.

This place was very busy but a little expected, the cubs and white sox where playing. I sat at the bar and had great service and food. I had someone boneless wings which had a lot of sauce and the parmesan fries. The fries where really good and the wings where great. I had the super hot boneless wings and the had a good flavor and some great heat to them. I would go back to this place if I am in the area.

Went in around 5 PM for an early dinner and even though the place wasn't super crowded, we were greeted by the host as soon as we walked in the door. They gave us a nice window seat in front of the fireplace which kept us nice and toasty. The food was super delicious. I heard that they were famous for their wings, so my girlfriend ordered the bone in wings and I ordered the boneless wings. They were delicious! Overall, the staff, the food, the ambiance was perfect.

We got some hot wings and beer battered onion rings and my god !! These are the best wings I have ever had . Ive been to so many wings sports bars and this place takes 1st place easily, and it’s focus isnt even around wings and all their food is delicious . This is a must place to go when we visit Chicago . Great service , tasty food , clean enviornment , good location, and nice and comfortable outdoor dining if you chose . Our server is in the picture , we didn’t catch his name but he was outstanding ! Never let our cups get empty and asked us if we needed anything frequently .

If you love chicken wings, you’ll have to visit this place when you’re in Chicago. They have big servings that is good for sharing. They also have everyday specials and happy hour. The location is easy to find and they have an outdoor seating. Good music and there are Monitors if you want to watch some American Ball games.

This was a must visit due to their reputation of having the hottest wings in the US. I am a spicy food fanatic in Los Angeles and will take on almost any spicy challenge. Jake Melnicks has the XXX wing challenge. I was nervous to give it a shot but I ordered a side of the xxx sauce to try it out. Beyond disappointed. The sauce was not spicy at all. But that's not the biggest disappointment, the taste was awful IN MY OPINION. Yes it is possible that others may really enjoy it but it resembled a tobasco vinegar like essence inside of fire-roasted chili paste. For any of you that have had the blazing sauce at Buffalo wild wings, this sauce is a walk in the park. Xxx sauce aside, the other food we ordered was just ok. Not super flavorful, chicken felt slightly undercooked. And the service was slightly lacking. Our server was super friendly and nice! The restaurant wasn't packed but there were other tables that were full. I had asked for straws 3 times and never got them. Also never got lemons for my water. Ordered a beer and was only asked once within an hour and a half if I'd like another. I'll let it pass because they appeared to be understaffed.

Stopped by for lunch after reading the reviews on Urban Matter. Of course I ordered the wings! Had the Nashville Hot and KC Barbecue with a side of sweet potato fries. My friend enjoyed the KC Barbecue & Pocho wings with a side of garlic parmesan fries. We had quick, good service and watched sports reviews while we waited in our food. Gave them 4 stars because it was really cold where we were sitting. We were in the enclosed patio area. Outside of that, had a great lunch and look forward to returning
