This was a mixed experience. The place looked more like a Pizza Hut, so not my style. Pizza is overpriced. Lasagna and the chicken wings were very good. Deep dish pizza takes 45 mins which is ok at a nice place and larger company, but the 2 of us didn't want to wait that long.

Pizza and the setting here is above par. Visited on a Thursday. The service was very welcoming and observant. This place has an awesome feel to it. Atmosphere is similar to a place in Columbus I loved.

Typical chain restaurant but a must go to in Chicago. Deep dish Chicago style pizza. There wasn't much of a wait to be seated, but it does take about 45 to 60 mins for your pizza. Great place for first time deep dish eaters like myself. The wait for it took so long, the pizza itself was delicious but I could really only have max 2 pieces as it was very filling. Good service and the hostess even recommended us ordering the pizza before being seated as he warned it takes a while but by the time we decided on the type of pizza we were seated.

Tastiest deep dish pizza of the zone. The cheese and marinara sauce is soooo delicious. Choose wisely what size would you like, we ordered a medium and were full with only one slice. Service was regular, but pizza spectacular.

This is a good place to try if you're looking for a franchise chain that serves up deep dish pizza, simply because they have so many restaurants for access. I find that the deep dish is good when it's warm, but doesn't taste good as you keep eating since it gets cold. But overall this is average.

You order first the. Wait for a table. Wait time is about 30-45 min. So your pizza is ready by the time you are seated. I am still a NY Pizza girl but this was yummy and we are it all. Got meat on meat on meat.

Typical deep dish pizza in Chicago. Very turistic but after trying the pizza I understand why. It is delicious! You can order some pre-made styles or be original and choose your own style. It takes a while because they bake it on the moment. I totally recommend it!

We have never had Deep Dish Pizza before and we were told, Chicago is the place for it ... And if you are in Chicago, Giordano's is the place to try it out. Lovely, sumptuous pizzas with ample toppings. It does take an hour for the Pizza to come, but it is well worth the wait. The Giordano team is very friendly and helpful too. Note: Make sure you get there before you get hungry, as it takes about an hour for the Pizza to come. It's a very popular place, so also take into account potential wait time if you decide to go during primetime lunchtime!

I have yet to try the pizza—we’re still waiting—but I can say that the air-conditioning in this restaurant is painfully cold. I asked the hostess there was anything they could do to make the restaurant even a little bit warmer – – and she immediately said no, indicating they’ve been asked this question before. When you have to wait 45 minutes for pizza in freezing cold air, it’s no longer fun. My niece and I are taking turns going outside to wait, where it’s actually a reasonable temperature. The hostess said it was a state regulation that restaurants be kept this cold, which is a bunch of b.s. Will never be back.

First of all, I'm hungry. Second of all, I'm hungry. This restaurant has consistently given great fast service for years. I have zero complaints. I was there today at noon. The food was so good that I'm going again tomorrow! Great management. The restaurant is very organized. This is a great business. You will not be disappointed.

Worst place to dine in! Was sitting for almost 15 minutes we finished our pizza for the bill. The way pizza was served was like we were getting it for free. Server just threw the pizza on table. Horrible customer service. Will never return back any day any time in life.

I hear a lot of people put down Giordano's compared to the other deep dish pizza places in Chicago, but I have to say, this was easily the cheesiest deep dish I have ever had. it was so delicious, and the sauce is really flavorful. if you love cheese, go here! I got the Cheese deep dish with Pepperoni and it did not disappoint! We went around 11am on Sunday and it got pretty busy around noon, but there are tons of places to sit. The pizza takes about 45 min to cook, but it was worth every minute we waited. Word of advice - get the Small size instead of the personal size so you get a better Cheese:Crust ratio.

I came here on a Saturday evening with my girlfriend. We got in and were sat within 15 minutes. We ordered before we sat because deep dish takes 45 minutes to an hour, so plan accordingly. The pizza was incredible. Every single bite was just as good as the one before it. We couldn’t stop ourselves from saying how good it was. I ended eating too much because I couldn’t stop myself until it was all gone. Price-wise, I don’t know if you’re going to get a better deal in the city. You can realistically feed three people a great meal for $25. We ate the pizza between the two of us, but I was more than satisfied through two slices. If you’re in the area and looking for some pizza, Giordano’s is the way to go.

A must-taste Chicago pride! Leans towards the salty side, but the pizza is undoubtedly succulent! The serving is big....even the small size with 6 slices was too much for us, three Asians. Price is just right. Restaurant service, though, is rather slow with only a few servers waiting on the many customers.

Walked down from the train station on a layover. Best deep dish pizza I have ever had! Staff of friendly and let us know the time to bake was longer then regular pizza. Which after it was said makes sense but I didn't think of that beforehand. Wow. The pizza sauce is very flavorful! We tend to order just plain cheese to see how good the dough and sauces are. This is towards the top!! I still lovely NY thin pizza, but when in town you must try Giordano!

Great place to stop by eat and enjoy yourself. Deep dish does take quite a bit to bake. Other wise if you don't want to wait go with thin crust. Awesome staff, kind, friendly, and very helpful for first timers. There is a large to medium size dinning area. On the other size is a bar.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I'm here from Va Beach and this place makes me not want VA pizza anymore. Jesse was one of the best waiters I've ever had. He greeted us with water in hand which was perfect because we had been sightseeing for a good part of the day. He checked on us and was extremely pleasant. Pizza is usually pretty good. However, the customer service is lacking. The lady at the front has an attitude problem if you have a question. Then the GM is not a nice lady and is rude. No one asked for her in the first place. She came up to us to let us know if we sent in a complaint that it would just come to her anyway. All we asked for was a number for a complaint. Another had already walked up to ask for the reason and then she invited herself over to let us know a complaint would not be heard since it goes to her anyway. This was so unnecessary and unprofessional for supposedly a GM. Smh

You Can't go to Chicago and not get deep dish! This is the place to go! The veggie pizza is the bomb and the chicken sausage (topping) is delicious! I just learned it's made in house, so even better. Highly recommend! Don't go if youre in a rush, deep dish takes around 45 minutes to cook but it's so worth it.

Good food. First time in Chicago and trying out the famous deep dish pizza. We got a table near the window with the red neon sign (that's why the picture is red). There was a bit of a wait at dinner time on a Saturday night (imagined that!). The service was excellent, the beer was cold, and the pizza was delicious. When we come back to Chicago, we're definitely stopping by again.

I've never personally tried deep dish pizza prior to coming here, but I must say, Giordano's has some really great deep dish pizzas. Although the wait was fairly long (45 minutes to an hour of waiting), the kind staff and the food we had in the end made it worthwhile. I would like to give props to the guy who served us, though I didn't get his name, he was very nice and talked in a very clear and enthusiastic voice. If I ever do go back to Chicago sometime in the future, Giordano's is on my list of places to eat!

Very disappointed! They use frozen pizza dough which ruins the whole pizza! The pizza tasted like a cheap frozen pizza. To make it worse, they charge high end prices. My daughter and I had a long layover at Union Station so we decided to stop in to try Chicago style Pizza. Giordanos was the only within walking and I am so glad we stopped. From walking in the front door to leaving the staff was amazing. The host stored our bags for us. Samuel our server was attentive and quick, friendly and efficient, he was truly fantastic. We had the Supreme Deep Dish and it was cheesy, saucy magic. Also my 4.5 year old highly recommends taking some home and saving room for the ice cream.

Kitchen made an honest mistake with our pizza, accidentally made the veggie one instead of spinach, but then to our surprise we were offered both pizzas on the house as a make-up. Honest mistake. Pizza is also very good, deep dish ($$) is AMAZING even though it takes 45 minutes, but it is absolutely worth every minute of the wait. Great staff and great food. I had the ranch dry rub wings, garlic parmesan fries, and a personal pizza with mushrooms, spinach, bacon, and pesto chicken. My son requested Traditional Chicago Deep-Dish Pizza and the Marriott recommended Giordano’s Pizza. A two block walk landed us at the Restaurant just before the dinner crowd would arrive. We ordered two appetizers and two pizzas - one medium and one small, drinks and desserts. The appetizers took about half and hour and the pizzas took about 50 minutes. Not a fast food place so sit back and relax and have a drink. The pizza was worth the wait.

Food: 5 stars. Broccoli on/in a pizza? Dude. So good. Service: 5.5 stars. Jesus R. is a real good bro. Top notch all the way. I tipped on top of the added gratuity. Making a reservation? -7.5 stars. I called, they said I had to fill out a form in an email. They emailed me a scanned form. I respond with all the information and get no response. I call to confirm they got it, but only the manager can do that and she’s obviously slammed because it’s a busy place, so she doesn’t get to the phone. So I had to walk all the way down there to get the thing taken care of. This is on corporate. We’re in 2019 guys. Online forms are real easy; your managers shouldn’t be sending a scanned piece of paper in an email to make a reservation! Total stars: 3.

Amazing pizza, I never had deep dish before but there was so much damn pizza, and mozzarella cheese. Definitely worth the wait. If you need a quick bite you’ll have too wait about an hour, so not quite a good place if you’re super hungry, but if yo I want too fill up. This is definitely the place.

There are MUCH better Giordano’s than this one! Being so close to Union Station, this one is overrun with tourists, and the quality suffers. Go to the one near Millennium Park for much better food.

Incredible!!! All the food is exactly what you want and need. Portions are good to large and the service has always been good. Our server AMANDA...was INCREDIBLE!! The short wait qas worth it, although you always get a table quicker than what they say. Kids keep asking to go back, always a good sign. Enjoy Chicago pizza and Italian that will satisfy. May not be the "best" according to some, but I would challenge people to find a better food experience overall. There is a reason people flock here, that are locals and tourists. If you get Amanda, consider yourself lucky.

I stopped in here with a friend and it was unbelievably good. The pizza was awesome and the atmosphere was great. If you are looking to try a deep dish this is a classic. I would suggest this place to anyone. Bring friends the pizza is HUGE!

This place was recommended by Eurostar hotels few blocks away as where we stayed, we enjoyed our time at Giordano’s and pizza was delicious. We got the deep dish and it was just right, not too extremely thick and not too thin, it was very good and good selections of beer to go with.

Fantastic pizza. If you're looking for a delicious deep dish pizza, this is your place. The dough is delicious and the pizza is full of great cheese and sauce. The one negative that comes to mind is that it took almost an hour to receive our order, which feels like a common occurrence if the place is busy

Giordano's lived up to all the hype and great reviews. The deep dish pizza was amazing. We also had some delicious desserts and wings. The wings were some of the best I've ever had. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I had to deduct one star because we ordered a couple of mojitos and the drink consisted of more ice than liquid. Two pulls from the straw and the drink was nearly done. We also had quite a wait for the pizza and wings to be made but I understood that since the restaurant was highly patronized. However it is something to keep in mind: don't go there on an empty stomach. All in all I would definitely go back there again.

We had initially ordered online for pick-up, but the manager was more than happy to accommodate us when we arrived and changed our minds.

Lovely pizza and fair prices. Also they offer a lunch combo for about 10 bucks that comes with a lot (really, a lot!) of fries and a small deep dish pizza that really is truly satisfying! The only thing that didn't go so well is their waiting times to come with the bill even though the restaurant was not crowded at the time and I was kind of waiting for a little bit. Other than that it was good!

Awesome deep dish pie! I made it a mission to try Chicago's deep dish on my most recent business trip. Last time I had it was about 25 years ago so I forgot how awesome these things are. Since I was here solo I ordered the 6" Chicago style and it was just perfect both in flavor and amount of calories I was willing to commit to it! Gregorio was my server and he was absolutely fantastic. One minor quirk for which I'm not deducting any stars; the tiramisu was half frozen... This is a pizza joint and for pizza and service they get 5 stars. Thanks Gladys for a short chat! I'll be back here next month.

I really like Giordano's! They have best pizza in the city! It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it! I wen't to this location yesterday evening and as usually I enjoyed the food. However, I was a bit disappointed by the service that me and my friend received. I felt like the hostess gave us the worst sitting in the restaurant (even though there was bunch of free space). In addition, our waiter seemed not to be caring at all. If you are looking for tasty pizza and good service I would suggest hitting Giordano's on E Randolph!

Food was excellent but the best part was our server Sandy! She was not only helpful with our million questions but also super friendly. We care a few minutes before opening and she’s been incredible the entire time. She entertained us with pictures and boomerangs since we were newbies here. She’s someone that you need to keep around! Wife very much enjoyed their thin crust gluten free pizza, actually tasted like a pizza! Note to others they don't have a deep dish version for GF but I had the gluten one (Chicago deep dish). Tasted good but for the hype I wasn't blown away. Good service and obviously a popular place! I would go back.

Still my favorite pizza in all the world. Nothing beats Giordano’s deep dish. Whenever I pass through Chicago, this is the one place I will stop each and every time. The staff here was excellent, as they even offered to store my suitcase behind the counter while I ate. Stayed here for a few hours.

Went during a busy afternoon, thought we would have to wait forever for our food. Ended up getting our deep dish in 40 minutes AND a manager, John, came and gave us a ton of places to visit during our stay in Chicago. Didn't have to do that, but it was appreciated. Ate here on our first day visiting Chicago. A small pizza is like a large because it is so thick and rich. Prepare for a 45 minute wait for your pizza to be made from scratch and it’s worth waiting for. Service is great and ambiance is cosy and is in the middle of a great area to shop.

Waiter was super friendly and attentive. The calamari starter had good variety, but it was on the greasy side. The thin crust pizza was good too, the crust was like a semihard biscuit and the toppings were solid. The entire experience was nice, the food was just a bit too greasy for me.

The tequila wings are soooooooooo good! You can taste the flavor of the tequila and the lime it was marinated in and topped with. The deep dish pizza was good. It fills you up really quickly and the size is deceiving. I’d definitely go back for the wings.

Awesome deep-dish pizza! We really enjoyed our time here. Our server, Miguel, was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. We liked the Old Bay chicken wings and Caesar Salad, and the Classic Chicago deep-dish pizza was just amazing! Fresh, flavorful ingredients and succulent cheese--fun to eat too! Where to start? When my wife and I come to Chicago we make it a point to have dinner at Giordano's. We stopped in tonight and had a great experience! The Classic Chicago deep dish was extremely tasty. It was perfect. As usual, there was a bit of a wait for that made to order pie of the God's, so what do you do? You have a local beer and a glass of wine is what you do. While we enjoyed our drinks, Sandy anticipated our every need. She offered water with our drinks (I always ask for water after drinks are delivered, Sandy somehow knows that). She kept us posted on our pizzas progress. She served our first slices. She was right there when I needed a beer refresh. Seriously, Sandy made us feel right at home. She is a fabulous representative for the company. We all have snapshots of good and bad service we receive over the years. The impression Sandy left us with, her snapshot, was truly one of the best ever. I am a former high volume restaurant manager. I would've been proud to have Sandy on my team.
