Right now the firm receives a score of 4.5 over 5 and that score was based on 823 reviews.
You must have seen that the average of ratings that it reaches is nearly the best one, and it's founded on a very large number of opinions, so we can say that the evaluation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to leave their score when they are happy with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to give opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of American restaurant.
A very cozy little spot for some fresh “farm to table” food. The spring pea mash in the braised short ribs is absolutely amazing: it adds the perfect light freshness to a relatively heavier dish. The fried cheese curds is a must-try as well.
Really delicious Farmhouse Benedict and Donuts. Not everyone gets Eggs Benedict cooked properly, but they did. Smoked ham was a great add. Spicy potatoes added some nice kick. Quick service on a Sunday morning! Would definitely recommend. Ample “meter” parking in the immediate area was a bonus.
Farmhouse may look esoteric, but its honest demeanor is one virtue. I really enjoy their burger with its malleable texture and savory beef. Even though the service was nice, the waiter did end up spilling ketchup all over my shirt, pants, and phone; they apologized and provided complementary desserts.
OUR ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! My husband and I have been here countless times and we have never been disappointed. The cheese curds are the best I've ever tasted, service is always great, and the cocktails are phenomenal. Love it!
Really good food. I had the half BLT & half salad. The tomatoes we're so good! I'm sure they were bought at local markets. Great service and selection of beers. Not a chain, this place has character.
Delicious fresh dood, fun decor and vibe. Great music.
Tasty and unique. I had a smoked beet rueban.
They know all their farmers by first name. Top notch food. Cheese curds are a must.
The food and the was excellent.
If you're not in a hurry let them know so they can slow service speed. Our entrees arrived while we were still eating soup even though we said we wanted soup first. But soup was great. As was the lamb but the pieces of lamb were pretty small in the mix. Pleasant room, pleasant service. Food great, pacing too fast for us.
It was me and my fiancé first time here and we invited out of town guest. The food was average and over priced, not a good first time for us... Despite that people from my party said their deserts were good.
I love this restaurant! I’ve gone dozens of times over the past many years. I used to work close by and would go often for a burger and fries...so good! That and their cheese curds, they found a way to make an otherwise heavy food light and airy. I’ve made the mistake of going during lunchtime on the weekends with friends hoping we could grab a burger and other lunch related items as well but their menu is limited during the weekend afternoons, just be aware. They did have burgers available but not much else for non-brunch related items.
This review is specifically for the brunch buffet on Mother's Day 2018. I believe this restaurant is probably excellent, and the cheese curds are sublime. However... After making reservations based on the brunch menu, we received a voicemail that in place of the regular menu, Mother's Day would feature a brunch buffet for $32 per person. Seeing the reviews for high quality food that is locally sourced, I anticipated the buffet would be paired down but excellent. As a frequent traveler, I am well accustomed to the horrors of a Hampton Inn buffet breakfast. While this instance wasn't quite that bad, it was a terrible, phone-it-in offering for a restaurant that seeks to respect the ingredients. The chef must have spent the day with mom and left the staff with trays of sub-par food to peddle for a cool 1/3 a hundred to guests. The buffet included: a couple of excellent salads, pre-toasted and cold toast, excellent sausage, rubbery bacon, biscuits & gravy that was serviceable but not memorable, roasted potatoes that replaced spice with butter and a tray of scrambled eggs that had been cooked and left over a burner for hours to solidify into a dry, bitter mess. There also was a tray of cold breaded chicken that probably was great when fresh and some mini fruit tarts. Our reservation was for a late, 2:00 PM, lunch, so we didn't arrive right at the end of the service. I would not recommend Farmhouse Chicago for its buffet. And to the owners, please know that even on Mother's Day, folks that make the trip have a reasonable expectation that you will deliver quality equivalent to your reputation. The next time you do a buffet, honor your customers and do it right and keep it fresh--both the customer and the farmers are worse for the buffet you provided.
the weather was beautiful that day so we sat outside. the staff were amazing & very helpful when it came to ordering food. I had a mocktail & it was so pretty & tasted good! compliments to the bartender! the food was plentiful & we had to take it in to go boxes!
The ideas were good, but the execution fell short. With farm to table, you want to get the best ingredients that you can get your hands on, then do the best you can to not screw it up. Unfortunately that's what they kinda did, had the pork chop while the flavors were good, and interesting the poor execution of the and overcooking of the pork is something that I can't over look. Also when you get 3 or 4 times cooked fries in an order of cheese curds because the fry cook couldn't be bothered to knock out the fry basket before cooking the next order is a sign of how the kitchen is managed.
It was great that day was my birthday
Food was delicious! I work nearby and get the burger and salad almost every time
Love this place for brunch! Great burgers. Service is hit and miss.
The ambiance, the food, the service; all great!
Nice unique menu of fabulous sides , veggies , and main courses. Absolutely my fav restaurant. in Chicago. And the Old Fashion's are excellent drinks
Fun little place with very fresh food and tasty apps. The location is out there; the restaurant is small and people brush past each other to get in and out or to the restroom. Still, the food & drink was good.
We came here on a whim because it had nice ratings and there was not a wait. The food was all really very nice. The kitchen did well on everything we ordered from start to finish. The only reason I will not give 5 stars is because cocktails and beers took an absolute age to arrive and the server could have been slightly more attentive, although he was still a good server. Would recommend to anyone however and will be returning myself.
Phenomenal food, drinks, and atmosphere. Everything is local including 5 unique ciders from Wisconsin. Can't recommend this place enough. Try it once and you'll see why.
Loved the experience and food here. Great variety of meat and vegetarian dishes, comfort food and unique dishes. It can get busy so makes a reservation if you can. Alternatively, there may be space at bar as you wait.
Ordered from Caviar. Pasta was missing. Pretzel was ok. Fries were good. Not a good first impression.
One of the tastiest hamburgers have ever had! Wtg chef
Great food Great service
Such a unique place for Brunch. Visiting from Michigan looking for fresh ingredients restaurant. Well I was quite please with the menu. A little treasure in Chicago
I can't say enough about our experience at Farmhouse Chicago. From start to finish, it was perfect! The server, the food, the dessert- All wonderful. We brought our 3 and 1 year old (they have a kids menu :) and still felt like we were on a date! Side note for parents- this is a rare find-- a place where your kids are happy AND you get an amazing experience/meal at the same time (also- they have a diaper changing table in the bathroom fyi). The caramel apple bread pudding cemented the already extraordinary meal. Wish I could go there tonight!! I didn't even mention the sustainability choices, support of local farms, etc. What an amazing place!
I really enjoyed my meal here. The service was fairly quick, we were able to be sat, order, eat and pay in about an hour. Our drinks stayed filled, the food was really good. I have no complaints. Farm to Table as it should be!!
One of my favorite spots in the river west area. Very relaxed vibe and I always get cheese curds there.
Everything we ordered was fantastic. The chicken was the best I've ever had.
The food was well above average for farm to table options but the noise level was way too loud for conversation. The server seemed a little unfamiliar with dealing with food allergy issues, which was worrisome.
Service, great. Cocktails, interesting and well done. Food, excellent. Portions are huge, staff was well versed with food allergies. Love having gluten free bread options! I only wish I had room to try dessert!
The food and service is always on point! But the building need some love!
My wife and I love this place. Unique experience of locally sourced meats, produce and alcohol. Great atmosphere with friendly service and conveniently located next to the Chicago Brown Line station.
My wife and children went here based off of a suggestion from the hotel we stayed in (not taking hotel suggestions anymore). The restaurant setting was good but the hospitality was not there at all. We found hair in our children's food and brought it up to our waiter, he then contacted the gm who came to the table. He did not even introduce himself as the gm until we asked him who he was and he was abrupt and acted as if our concerns of our child's food was uncalled for. We felt disrespected. Lesson learned, won't go there anymore...Not family friendly
Veggy burger was so tasty! Mashed potato is amazing
This restaurant is amazing ! I recommend absolutely !! I‘m french and I have lived a year in US, they’re doing the best burgers I ever ate this year ! Amazing ! This “farm atmosphere” is very pleasant and the servers as well ! GO THERE TO HAVE AN AWESOME DINNER ! :)
Nice relaxed place. Can't give it a higher rating because we had issues with service and some of the food and drinks. Nothing major but enough to make me question going back. The food was good though!
Great service and quality meal
Great food, if a little over priced. The wine selection left something to be desired though.
We had a large party of 16, food was very good quality. Service was good and not too frequent so it allowed good conversation. We were upstairs and the area was nice.
Excellent menu! Something for everyone. Casual atmosphere with high end food. Fair price point for location and quality dining.
Don’t see any reason to comeback here for the breakfast again. Nothing attracted me. But most probably the place is much better in the evenings
I went here for breakfast, it was my second time dining here. I had what I believe was a skillet with sweet potatoes and lots of good vegetables. The side of bacon was cooked perfectly. There are steep stairs leading to the upper level seating. I never feel comfortable on those stairs. But the food here is great. I will return again.
The steak came with amazing peppers. The homemade catsup is also very good. Expensive though
Went for drinks and appetizers, good selection of unique cocktails and variations on the classics. Nice open atmosphere, and soft lighting. Only downside was the service upstairs was a little slow and took a while to get our drinks each time.
Great experience!! Amazing food.
Super chill ambiance. Limited menu selections (alcoholic beverages) due to it being all local. Delicious food.
Best pork chop ever. Great service. Highly recommended.
Great food, fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Good food, and great atmosphere. Portions are a bit smaller, so if skipped lunch and are hungry might want something a bit more filling. However, to be honored, portion sizes are probably all one needs, but I do love food.
Simple straight forward menu, great service, and tasty! The mac and cheese was especially delicious. I will say the veggie burger fell apart and was a bit too greasy but it still tasted good. The salads are also very good.
Great food and atmosphere. Excellent service. Their farmhouse bacon and white cheddar burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had.
Food was delicious. Server was a little busy during our visit and took some time to get to us. He was very nice and did a goo job otherwise. Very good overall.
Great seasonal, fresh food. And a rotating selection of dishes keeps you coming back to try what's new.
Excellent food! I got the pork belly PB&J sandwich. It was the best sandwich I've ever had. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I asked for extra chips to share with my wife and the server brought an entire extra plate for her at no charge. Very cool location that feels very rustic. My wife had a salad which she thought was very good, but wasn't completely amazed. I would return here in a heartbeat for that sandwich. Price was great considering it was downtown Chicago which is normally a little expensive. My wife had a drink and we were out the door with tip around $40.
Delicious farm to table food
Love the local flavor and the service was great!
Great service and excellent food. Also, I forgot to grab my receipt for this work lunch and manager emailed one the day I asked!
Burger was decent very standard bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion with a thick beef patty on a brioche bun just the way I like it. Had their Amish chicken soup too. Unfortunately we did have to wait 10 minutes before someone even acknowledged our existence, but the bartenders were very friendly.
The food here was amazing. The pork. Hop was the best thing on the menu. It's busy so go early or later in the night. It gets a tad noisy when it's full!!
Very good food with a good selection of craft cocktails. I had the pork chop and it was cooked perfectly and why not wrap a pork chop with bacon. It was well worth the cholesterol hike in my blood.
Food was fantastic, service was spotty. Six of us arrived on time for a 7 pm reservation. Server dropped menus and then didn't return for drink orders for 20 minutes. She wasn't super attentive. We shared the cheese curds and perogies. Delicious. Roast chicken, pork chop dinners were tasty; the fish and pasta dishes were there standouts. Everything was super fresh. At the end of the meal (after 9 pm on a Sunday) we tried to order dessert for the birthday girl and was told the kitchen was closed. What? A heads up from the server would have been nice. They started putting the chairs up on the tables at 915. This isn't s fast food place and our bill was over $400 at this point. Really soured the otherwise great meal.
Great place, veggie burger is to die for
Cute little place! Good atmosphere. Had the breakfast sandwich. Appreciate the real ham! Potatoes were good too.
Local and fresh ingredients
Great food, nice atmosphere, looked like they had a decent selection of beer on tap. I got the cheese curds and the crispy buffalo chicken sandwich. The cheese curds were tasty, although a little puffier/less dense than others I've had. The sauce to go with it had a good spice to it. The samsaric was delicious, and the chicken had a really nice crisp to it. I was able to get it with Brussels sprouts instead of chips, which was a really nice healthy alternative instead of a salad. Pricey for regular lunch, but I would happily eat here again.
We had a free continental breakfast at our hotel and decided to skip and go here. We are so glad we did! Biscuits and gravy was great to start, and then the open face sandwich, farmers breakfast and a side of macaroni cheese. Everything tasted so good and fresh! Being my father is a farmer, and I own a small business, I love supporting a restaurant that features farm to table. If you're considering stopping here, do it!! Oh and the honey butter was amazing too! We will definitely be back to try dinner next time.
Food was amazing, great service, great ambience!!!
Food was amazing.
Very reliable and not overpriced. Feels like they renovated a bar/pub into a restaurant. It's a high recommend for chicago
We decided to try this restaurant for the first time. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by this short guy with a glasses who start talking down to us and very condescendingly. We got 10 min late because traffic was just horrible and we try to explain to him but he was very mad about and he said we have only one hour to eat because we lost our 10 min and then we have to get up and go. Another couple our friends they were still driving around try to find a parking he said we have to call them and ask what they gonna eat and order right now. So with a greeting like this we decided to go. The way they talk to people they not gonna do a good business. I don't want to pay money and listen all those things like I did something wrong. There is so many good and amazing restaurants with a wonderful service who makes people feel welcome there instead of eat as fast as you can and just get out because you was 10 minutes late you don't deserve our time. If you want a good experience I it's not that a place. I won't recommend this place to anyone
I recommend the eggs benedict
Service was outstanding and our waiter Austin was very attentive. The concept of the restaurant is fantastic. Solid beer selection and varied menu. I went with a group of four, 3 of us got the burger and the fourth got the lamb shank. The lamb shank was delicious, but sadly the burger looked much better than it tasted. There was definitely something missing. Also both dishes were covered in onion which is not something you typically expect. The cheese curds were so good though that I’m giving the restaurant an additional half star.
Really great service
Excellent dining experience! Fantastic food! Loved the Chicken Soup and the short ribbed sandwich. Also the pressed coffee was AWESOME!
Absolutely brilliant food and service! Highly recommend the steak and the beef burger! Will be back for sure, cheers!
Great "farmhouse" food. Proprietary ciders. 2nd visit.
Loved everything about this place! Food, atmosphere, service ... amazing!
The food was exquisite! For an appetizer, you can't go wrong with the cheese curds. As an entree, I ordered a grass-fed organic burger while my partner had a veggie burger. We were impressed by their mission of sustainable food and commitment to local vendors. However, our server seemed like he was in the weeds and left us waiting 20 minutes for the check. Otherwise, highly recommend!
Great service, fun servers and really good food. The Mac and cheese is a must have
Great restaurant, sustainably sourced. Everything we had was delicious!
Great Easter brunch
love this Farm-to-Table restaurant.. its reputation is well-deserved. I have been there only once but I look forward to going back there again.
Local food, wonderful service
Nice, friendly Farm to Table in the city. Nice, local craft draft beer selection.
So most of my trips here have been for either a quick drink (before we go somewhere else) occasionally for the apps. This last visit however was just disappointing. First it was ridiculously hot (not a reason I'm removing stars but it didn't help either) I think there must of been just one server for the whole restaurant because our server couldn't be found when we needed him. When they finally took our order for apps they completely forgot my friends salad (but we were still charged for it?) Then when we got our food just more disappointments, they confused my burger with someone else's because it wasn't cooked the way I wanted and it was under seasoned, and it must of been sitting for a bit because the cheese was almost congealed looking. My friends pork chop was just a fat and bristle not much meat at all. The highlights of the meal was the charcuterie board, the mac and cheese, and the perogies. I'm hoping it was an off night but my guests were beyond disappointed. (Other than the apps it looked better than it tasted)
The service is great. The cheese curds were not nearly as good as other reviewers made them sound. The cheese curds were OK. I ate about half and moved on. The Bavarian pretzel was really good. They paired it with two small sides of dipping sauces. The first was a lightly smoky beer cheese that tasted like it was made using a small amount of smoked gouda. The other sauce was like a spicy honey mustard. The pretzel with sauces was actually much better than the cheese curds. They have a decent selection of craft beers and break them down by state of origin, which is nice. The servers and bartender are all super friendly. The place was smaller than I thought it would be. Entrees are a bit on the pricy side.
I had an excellent time here because I reconnected with old friends over good food and drinks. The Braised Venison Osso Bucco was a perfect meal as the winter cold began in November. Servers were joyful. It was great to be back in the Midwest and Farmhouse captures the essence of the region.
Great happy hour price on drinks (half off) and the food is always superb.
Visited for lunch and had an absolutely delicious salad! Can't wait to go back to try more items!
Really great food. Everything tasted fresh and literally had a farmhouse feel. I definitely recommend.
Excellent menu and farm to table selections. Great atmosphere with a fun old bar. Meal was a little heavy on salt.
The steelhead was amazing, and so are the curds. Fries aren't that good. And they only have 3 sodas: coke, diet Coke, and Sprite :/ Food could be quicker. The apple cider donuts are donut holes and there's only 12 of them. I'd return, but it wouldn't be at the top of my list
The food was delicious, the environment was adorable, wait staff was great. I would absolutely recommend.
Enjoyed a lovely brunch. Everything was great! Food, drinks and service were wonderful!
This trip the service was mediocre and the food, just ok... The one up in Evanston was good.. Maybe it was an off day..
Had their rigatoni and bread pudding which was really delicious. The pierogi appetizer was tasty as well. Their food is definatley worth coming back for more of.
High quality ingredients are the star at this restaurant that has a daily menu. I love the freshness of everything, the location is fine, the interior is comfortable, and the drinks are ambitious (smoldering rosemary sprigs, anyone?), but I wasn't totally satisfied, either. The salad was terrific and a handsome serving, the duck, though, set in motion a trend of underwhelming dishes that ended with the dessert of chocolate bacon brioche bread pudding. Was anything bad? Absolutely not. But the treatment of these fresh and otherwise tasty ingredients was inexpertly executed. I'd unquestionably go back to try it again if I lived there, but trips to the Second City are too few and far between for me to consider spending one of those precious evenings there again.
Really nice steak... Casual ambiance with great service
The fried cheese curds were my favorite part of the meal, crispy and not too heavy. Perfect appetizer if you're hungry and a cheese lover. I had the half-chicken with mushrooms. It was very juicy and savory. The mushrooms seemed to be seasoned the same way as the chicken, which was good but it kind of blended together. Good draft beers.
Fresh food, very flavorful and locally sourced. Try the cheese curds, they are the best I've ever had.
It was almost great. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt because we had a ton of people in our party.
Awesome service, creative cocktails, and the dishes are so fresh, thoughtful, and delicious.
Always great food.
Delicous food! And love the sustainable story! The sweet tea braised smoked pork chop is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! A must try - come hungry though (it's a generous portion)
Delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and the orange juice was great! Farmers breakfast was great and the French toast was big . Definitely a great hearty brunch.
Nice and cozy place. Good food and beers.
Food is tasty, friendly staff, Farmhouse Classic Burger was great. The caramelized carrots were yummy. Plenty of seating on both floors.
I had the short ribs which I would rate as a 3 for portion but a 4 for taste. Others in my party had the lamb, pork chop, chicken, or veggie burger. All loved their food and raved over the portion they received. I felt in comparison to the other entrees, the short ribs entree was not worth the price. But, all the food I sampled was tasty including the mac and cheese. I would visit this restaurant again.
Good service, great ciders and the food was awesome!
Great brunch good, good service, friendly atmosphere. Can be hard to hear if it is busy.
We came here for brunch awhile ago. We got there right when it opened but there were a few other people waiting outside with us. We were quickly seated and brought over water. My friend asked for sparkling water but they did not carry it which was a little disappointing. We ordered the monkey bread to share. It was good, nothing amazing but it tasted exactly how I thought it would. It was fairly small and very sweet, as expected. For a meal I got the White Breakfast Flatbread which is similar to a breakfast pizza. It was really good. It was a pretty large portion so you could share it if you wanted too. My husband for the brown sugar french toast. He didn't really care of it. The french toast was dry and berried made it overly sweet. My friend got the veggie burger which she also didn't care for. The burger fell apart when she ate it. It crumbled and turning it a huge mess.
A lower rating than I would have liked to give, but true to my experience. My service at the bar (for lunch) was inattentive and poor - not only did I wait several minutes before being greeted, but I waited for several minutes to place my order while the bartender prepared ingredients nearby. I did enjoy the food and drink, though, which is fresh and locally sourced. I'm not typically a cider drinker, but their list is uniquely appealing and tasted great!
Great local farm to table restaurant in chicago. A local favorite. Delicious food and drink specials.
Went for a nice meal to catch up with one of my close friends. We were able to get a delicious appetizer and meal. The dessert was also free, a very moist and well baked pound cake topped with fresh fruit. Would go again for sure.
Everything was so great! Grilled cheese with added bacon!! The donut holes with apple cider carmel sauce were perfectly done!
I came here with my husband for brunch on a Saturday. It wasn’t too crowded as we were seated right away. The restaurant is very farmhouse cute with a great atmosphere. We ordered the the warm spice apple donuts to start us off. They are sooooooo good! I would come here just for these if I had a sweet tooth craving! I ordered the farm eggs benedict and my husband had the open faced breakfast sandwich. Both were very very good! Plated nicely and they tasted as good as they looked. Will definitely be back! Highly recommend: -Warm Spice Apple Donuts (Perfection!!) -Farm Eggs Benedict -Open Faced Breakfast Sandwich
Absolutely loved it here Great vibe, amazing food, fantastic service and unique drinks. One of the best brunch experiences I’ve had all around!
We went last night and really enjoyed it. The porkchop was perfect and probably the best pork chop we ever had. The short ribs were great too except that, in my opinion, the entree needed more potatoes to be considered an entree. The service was good. The music was good. And the seats along the bench are comfortable. We will definitely return.
Not a bad food .service vary depends on which day you come during the week
We LOVE Farmhouse (normally), especially the ethical farms they source from! The last time we went, however, it was for Restaurant week... We looked on the website at their Restaurant week menu and were excited to try something new, but when we arrived, the menu was just a three course meal of things that were on their regular menu. I’m not sure what happened there, but we were bummed that we couldn’t try the things we were planning on. We settled on the pork chop (we get that pretty consistently, because it’s awesome)... This time, for some reason it was super undercooked and chewy, like we were biting into raw meat. The seasoning was off, too. We did ask the server, who said it was supposed to be medium rare (it was RAAAARE, though) and they said it seemed fine. I boxed it up and cooked it a bit more at home, because it may have just been my own preference and not any mistake on the chef’s part. Either way, I hope this was just an off night at Farmhouse, because we love their food normally!
Eat in Moderation during Brunch as 3 items (Steak, Bottomless Coffee, Mimosa) can easily cost $30.
Service is excellent. Lovely farmhouse modern decore. A quaint place, conveniently located next to the CTA. The food was delicious. Portion sizes are on point. Great presentation. Fun cocktail names (for example PS Chicago is still burning). Dessert is a must, perfect after dinner sweet.
The Veggie burger was rich and delicious! Definitely worth a try! They had a good selection of local brews.
Expensive but tasty food. I like their concept of farm-to-table and they had a nice selection of beers as well.
Tasty food and Great service
Excellent food! We ordered trout, which turned out to be a wonderful crossbred trout and salmon! Who knew?! Atmosphere casual- food elegantly prepared! Best meal in a Chicago so far! Kaylee was a great server!
The ambiance is very cool. Rustic farm decor with an urban twist. The food was amazing! I got the pork chop and my wife got the short rib. Both were equally impressive. The service was good as well. We will definitely go back at some point to try some more of their unique, locally sourced menu.
Great everything. We love the food. They make the best pork chops dishes in the world. Always moist and tasty.
Actually I have! This is one of the best restaurants in Chicago! Cheese curds and all! Come here for the atmosphere, amazing fresh food, and amazing service. There's nothing not to like about this place! Walkable from downtown, great service and great vibe.
Freshness Extroidinare! Great service, Small bistro packs an Awesome Atmosphere and 5 Star dining experience! Don't miss this one!
Love this place! Wonderful Italian food, great service.
Best place for brunch!!
I hadn't been here in over a year and so some items that once were available no longer exist so I ordered their only burger available which by the way was OUTSTANDING but I strongly feel this restaurant could and should be more inventive because you only have ONE choice of burger here which is odd. The last visit I remember they had home made soda options which was extremely fun and fizzy to accompany a burger; but now they only offer your standard sodas and alcoholic beverages but no root beer or milkshakes. I think this restaurant could and should provide a more varied burger option but you only get one extremely expensive choice accompanied with mediocre fries and a side of ketchup. If I want to spend $15 on a burger I expect fries with aioli garlic sauce to the side and a prettier presentation. The price of the burger remains the same for lunch AND dinner which to me doesn't seem logical because typically lunch menus have less expensive options. I guess what bothers me is the restaurant obviously serves great food and had a friendly staff but the price isn't worth it if they can't create something a bit more memorable. I know River North is an expensive area to run a business but for the high price tag I expect to be WOWED.
We love this place. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is relaxed. They have a really interesting selection of locally produced ciders that are well worth trying. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable.
Great neighborhood bar/restaurant with delicious farm to table fresh lunch menu. Midwestern salad with smoked brisket sandwich was amazing! On brand of cider hot the spot. Worth a visit!
Loved the food and the atmosphere! The lunch salad & soup special was delicious and appropriately priced. Would recommend to friends.
Foods awesome. Try the Pork Chop. Will Be Back.
Best Cheese curds in the city but $$
Excellent restaurant. Tasty food and locally produced ! Perfect place to have a great evening.
Good service, atmosphere, and food
Great food! Great staff!
Great place for brunch, a little hipster if you like that, with good food with local produce used.
Excellent food! I love the food Great service, great atmosphere! I love this place. Great breakfast, friendly and attentive staff! Great company. Five stars! Highly recommended!! Thank you guys!
Great staff. Delicious farm to table food. Definite stand out in River North.
