Awesome food, friendly staff members, constantly good ambience. They charge affordable pricing and the food quality is very good. Highly recommended.

melothatruth .

I had the truffle pasta with a side of cauliflower. Both were very flavorful and affordable. The waiter was really nice too.

Baldric Fox

This restaurant had some of the best escargot I’ve ever tasted. The butter was wonderfully prepared, the bread was a perfect accompaniment, and the snails were great. The striped sea bass was similarly delicious. A great meal! We came here for the first time. Food was delicious! We had the duck omelet and the cochon Benedict and the waffles with caramelized walnuts and bananas. all dishes were delicious! coffee was good too. The server was attentive and really nice. The atmosphere was very relaxed for breakfast and i enjoyed that!

Tal Crook

I've been there over and over again with friends and colleagues and the place does not disappoint. They have a nice variety of French foods that are unique and fun to try. I had mussels there for the first time and it exceeded my expectations greatly. They were extremely accommodating and we had a great time.

Lisa Wheeler

Such a great, light meal for lunch. I love their caesar chicken salad and their French onion soup. This is the soup that you dream of making at home during the winter. So good! Their service is lightening fast, too! I'm usually in and out in less than 40 minutes and still enjoyed a great meal and conversation.... that's my goal at lunch time!

Joseph Jennings

Nice place to stop for an evening snack after attending a function in downtown Chicago.

G D

Every time I am here I have a great experience. Honestly I keep having issues with place food and drinks are good. Staff on the other hand freaking rude and nasty. You all need to cheer up and be graceful or find a job that you like. They made us feel so unwelcome.

Eitan Gorodetsky

Nice eggs, good service overall breakfast is cool.

Rebecca Hardner

My favorite spot in the loop and some of my favorite food in the city. They have a great burger, but the pastas are great! Can't go wrong for brunch / breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their manager and servers are also super friendly and attentive.

Jeremy DuBrul

Foie and Chicken Liver Mousse was good. Escargot wasn't all that, the cheese is unnecessary. Mussels were one noted spicy.

Kristine Pol

I hate giving low ratings, but this place definitely provided poor service. We came in for breakfast Sunday morning. There were many tables available but we were seated at a corner table next to the traffic from the kitchen. Two separate parties arrived after us. Their orders were taken and food arrived well before ours. I ordered the duck confit gruyere omelette and a coffee. My husband ordered the fried pastrami breakfast sandwich and a side of corned beef hash. I specifically asked for well done/crispy potatoes. I received over cooked eggs and burnt cheese. The sour dough bread that comes with the dish was STALE. When we proceeded to let the staff know what we were unhappy with, we were told that we’re not familiar with homemade bread and all the bread in their kitchen is the same quality.... even though I received two slices that were not the same. I also bake homemade bread, despite what our waiter believed that we didn’t know the difference between homemade breads. We still know what stale bread would taste like. My husband was happy with his meal, and we were comped the coffee and corned beef hash which is why I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. Thank you for the comp, but the experience from the beginning to the very end was very poor. The manager never came to us to find out more of what was wrong or what could be done better, we were just told that our coffee and hash were comped by management...

Sandra Glover

The rotisserie chicken Caesar salad here is probably the best I've ever had. Instead of croutons, they put in their homemade potato chips. The service here is on point, friendly staff and great environment. I would definitely eat here again.

Cullen Clements

Certainly a place worth visiting, the food is good and fresh, the costs are convenient and it is regularly clean here. Fantastic work.

Adam Riemer

My friend and I were staying at the Hyatt above this restaurant. The staff is amazing and friendly, the wines are good and the cocktails are delicious. However, the pastries and coffee fell flat. They were over cooked and dry. Not what you’d expect from a French restaurant. The coffee was also watered down and weak.

hunter rocha

Honestly I hate breakfast foods but the very green eggs Benedict was spectacular and the vanilla latte was incredible, it was sweet and light and foamy. Good place to visit

While the food at Cochon Volant Brasserie isn't "earth shattering," the concept is laudable, and Cochon Volant provides a wonderful lunch in Chicago's loop. With a expansive menu, meeting the needs of any diner, CV is an ersatz version of a French brasserie. There are some Gallic items, but American tastes are given front and center. Loud and bustling, CV is popular with all the legal and government workers filling the offices of the buildings and courthouses surrounding the restaurant, which is actually part of a hotel, whose entrance is around the corner to the entrance of CV. I know this, because finding the bathroom is akin to a hike in Canyonlands National Park. The lavatories are on the second floor of the hotel. By the time I arrived, I had forgotten my original purpose.

Located in the Hyatt Centric hotel. Went here for breakfast and enjoyed French-inspired cuisine on the terrace overlooking the Loop area of Chicago. Friendly service and well priced. Good for groups or as a couple, even dining alone. Plentiful seating and Italian style café bar, plus an alcoholic bar with cocktails aplenty. If this review helped you, click thumbs up below!

Andreas Waldburg

The central location in the loop and its compact menu make it a favourite for business lunches. French-inspired food with a strong American slant includes hearty salads and burgers. Popular on the menu seem to be the au-jus sandwiches, a pile of finely sliced roast beef in a baguette, which patrons dunk in a side of gravy, much to everybody's delight.

Eric Fine

Smart, casual French fare with an excellent bar.

I S

Okay for lunch. A little busy but the staff is nice and the place is reasonably inexpensive.

Sandra Jones

Love the snails and the great atmosphere.

Thomas Miller

Magnificent house made rustic bread.

Stephane Azoulay

Had the banana foster waffle, excellent! Coffee and service was great as well.

Brandy Greco

Great place to brunch! I had the Salmon Benedict, cappuccino and bloody mary, which were all great. The service was excellent as well.

Ken Levinson

Conveniently located near both federal and state court so it's a good lunch spot for fellow attorneys. I particularly like their Onion Soup, Prime Rib Dip and Prime Steak. Also a great spot for breakfast with nice omelet selections.

Patricia Woodhouse

Very good steak. Short but excellent red wine list (expensive). Noisy during happy hour, but then quieted down. Friendly bartenders. Quick service.

Neal Ramlakhan

Wandered in for a quick bite on Wednesday evening and was quickly seated by the bar and attended to within five minutes. Ordered the cheeseburger and fries which were awesome with the truffle aioli. Cheeseburger needed a bit more salt but overall was a good meal, and left me very full afterwards. I think the two beers also contributed to my fullness. Cool decor what's seem modern yet still with some French flair.

Emily Stiehl

Rich and delicious food. So good!

Christina Hills

Food was great. Get the French onion soup. And if you go for lunch call first for reservations. They get busy

Chad Kraus

Absolutely loved this place. Went for breakfast yesterday and had an omelette which was served in a small iron skillet and with thick toast and potatoes. It was delicious. Service was excellent and with a smile and consistent refills of my coffee. Very clean and well decorated open space with lots of natural light. Thumbs up!

Liss zavala

Believe me, they don't clean the fryer, only once a month, that place is disgusting, you shouldn't eat there, at least you like disgusting things you are at the right place..

Nasir Andrews

This restaurant is my favorite site. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I want to go to a proper meal, this is the place that comes straight to my head. Great and all kinds of food and a rich menu.generous staff members, and great vibes. Also, the price is fair. I praise this place with no hesitation.

Vlado Skoric

One of my favorite burgers in Chicago! This is my go to business meeting spot. Great food and drinks. Service is always top notch!

Anthony Kirkwood

Great restaurant good service. Love the bartenders.

thejuliakitchen

I’ve been here a couple of times. The food is solid. The portions are generous. The wine list is good if a little pricy.

Steven Motta

Loved it! Swanky cool French Bistro in downtown Chicago

Nicolle Petit-Winn

So good. Fresh sourdough bread they bake in house, had the braised beef with polenta. Steve our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I would definitely go early or make a reservation because this place fills up fast. I would definitely go again.

Michelle Jaques

I had a delicious croque monsieur. Big enough to take half home. Great fries and bought some tasty pastries to go. Great place for a nice lunch. Nice, attentive staff. Loved the music in the background giving it that extra touch to enhance the European flair with the rest of the atmosphere.

Adam Haas

Unique spot for this type of food in Chicago. Wonderful menu choices that put a bit of a twist on classic French cuisine.

Tim Compton

Great service, food is really nice. They cater really well to the lunch crowd: can get you in/out quickly.

PA F

I had a classic roasted chicken that came with fries and an old fashion. Absolutely divine. I suggest getting the smoked whitefish salad as an appetizer- it won't disappoint.

Chris Reid

The service was mediocre and the server was condescending. My steak frittes came out nearly raw and had to be sent back. I would be willing to try again as this may have been a random occurrence. However with all of the options available to me downtown I won't try that hard to go back.

Dave Flanagan

Excellent, unassuming brassiere with amazing wine list, and on point entrees. Was not disappointed

Michelle Rustja

Went for brunch Saturday morning. Food and service were outstanding!

Andre Barreto

One of the best french foods I've had not only in Chicago, but in the US. I highly recommend it.

Karim Poonawala

If you want delicious breakfast and are in the mood for a drawn out morning and several cups of great coffee, this is your place. Unusual and delicious breakfast items, superb service and strong delicious coffee. The ambiance is quite pleasant with one side of the restaurant for leisurely breakfast, and the other side for quick takeouts. Best of both worlds. The French version of biscuits and gravy with duck confit and foie gravy was absolutely delicious. I am sure lunch is just as good.

Miguel Torres

This place has the best Chicken ceasar salad I've ever had. It's consistently great with a well seasoned shredded chicken. Lunch can be very busy and reservations are recommended, however they have limited bar seating and high tops for walk ins..service is always prompt and super friendly. Highly recommended!

Ross Wirth

Food is great, service is often a bit slower than it should be.

Nathan Hunt

Great food, good people would definitely recommend to any travel into the Chicago area

Michael Poremba

I think McDonald's serves better food. Service and the food sucked. The only tip the server should have had was find a different line of work.

Stephen Bowman

The dessert is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. They only have 3 or 4 desserts and we tried 2 (they're individual sizes). Both desserts (chocolate mousse and creme brulee) that we tried were unimpressive. Neither one was bad, but I've had far better at many different restaurants. The atmosphere, service, and food (obviously not including dessert) was all wonderful! I definitely suggest going.

Satya Natesan

OMG! The bacon, the bacon, the cacin - Cochon is a keto lovers dream. The location, the ambience, the super efficient service and the food - all make it a great place to be.

Anna S

Worth checking out. This is my third visit and I can't help but order the avocado toast combo. It's just too tasty to pass up. The coffee is excellent (even decaf). All the food is cooked traditionally. That being said the eggs I ordered over-easy were a bit runny. So if you have a cooking preference be sure to voice it. Service is solid but for some reason each time we have a large party (about 6 ppl) one person's plate always arrives late to the table.

Clare Stopher

Lovely atmosphere, and a good place to speak French

kennedy udechukwu

Food was exceptional. Be careful, the rations are gigantic. I had to pancakes for breakfast for two days. Food is pricey but all the dollar sign on the Google page should tell you that.

Cameron Joyce

Absolutely fantastic start to finish. Sat at the bar as a single. The bar selection was excellent and the bartender did an excellent job with all of my drink orders, and was very attentive. The food, my goodness. Cochon has by far some of the BEST tartare I’ve had in the US. My bone in fillet was perfectly cooked and was well worth the money. I will be for sure coming back the next time I stay in Chicago

Yuri V

We stumbled into this place while walking downtown Chicago! Best pace for brunch... Their waffles and pancakes are to die for! Service was great... Everyone is so friendly

Amy Hayes

Picturesque bistro. Great food and drinks. Perfect for a pre-show dinner, day time lunch, any occasion! Even offered gluten free bun option for their delicious sandwiches!

Joyce Becwar

Cozy authentic French Restaurant in the theater district. Food was great, the waiter was helpful. The menu was somewhat limited and pricey but very good.

Luca Gregory

Outstanding location for french food. Staff is always super even when they have a full house. I had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. This place has a good feel to it.

PJ Schumacher

Quality and unique French breakfast. Fast professional service too. Corned beef hash and eggs was wonderful.

Osjetta Gascey

The breakfast here is superb. You definitely want to try the pancakes or the waffles. The pancakes have caramelized apples. The bacon is thick and crisp. You can also visit during happy hour. The restaurant is spacious enough for a small group of larger party.

Rick Lee

Absolutely amazing. The service was perfect as expected from a french spot. The onion soup was the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be going back. Favorite french spot in the city hands down.

Dayan Siri

This place had good reviews. I went there at 10am but did not like the breakfast menu. They could not give me lunch menu. So i left but they did not charge for my tea. Staff and Atmosphere were nice. Would not mind trying this place if in town in lunch or dinner yime.

Ewunike Patterson

The brunch was great and my friend and I got endless coffee (also great btw) refills as we caught up.

Ivan Durt

Super duper nice staff, food and drinks!!! D at the bar, D helping charge my phone, B being amazing... they gave me the greatest Chicago experience. I'll be back for sure

Dave Ojeda

Gets a little loud at lunch but the food is worth it!

Bill Flapan

A French Steak house. Steaks were excellent. Served with two sauces and a cheese spread on top of the steak. Steak Frites included as a side. I started the meal with a French onion soup. $117 plus tip for two people. The restaurant was busy for Saturday night. Restaurant located in the hotel "World of Hyatt " 100 W. Monroe.

Lindsay Carol

Very nice coffee. Amazing pastries. Attentive staff. One of the best places I’ve experienced. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Debora Pinzur

Good food, service and ambiance. Moderate prices. Our group of ten liked everything we tried; halibut, Caesar salad, French onion soup, burgers, Waygu beef sandwich, beef short ribs, roasted chicken.

Thomas Franson

Was taken here for my birthday and the food was outstanding. Each dish we tried was better than the last. The drinks were so well crafted I indulge hard. Very great spot. And the bartender Todd was SOOOOOO HOT!!

Samuel Waggoner

Typically French restaurants are not suited for healthy appetites. Capturing the Frenchness and providing a hearty breakfast may seem incongruous. Well, what a pleasant surprise. Cochon Volant was amazing. We had three different breakfast selections and each captured wonderful flavors. Mine was a brioche breakfast sandwich with pastrami, egg, tomato and cheese piled high and so good. Another was a their own made, corned beef hash and eggs - again amazing; and the third was roasted mushroom-kale-aged gruyere omelette. Each selection had its own unique bread type. Service was great, no pressure, easy going staff for lazy morning breakfast.

Jan Kretzschmar

Excellent service and outstanding food. Went here mid week and is nice and quiet. The steak with the truffle sauce is highly recommended and reasonably priced for the quality.

Stan Gorski

Had a wonderful experience for New Years Eve. Bar staff was very kind and prompt. Our drinks were delicious. Wait staff was very prompt and professional. Our water cups were never left sitting empty. Food was delicious. The filet tartar appetizer was very good. Petite filet was perfectly cooked. Salmon was delicious. Will definitely be recommending this place!

Jeff Briner

This place is amazing. Always fresh food, well prepared, and the servers are very personable. Best breakfast in Chicago!

Kalin Nikolov

Very good - breakfast, service and environment.

Stevo T

Nice bar with a French touch just directly connected to the Hyatt hotel.

Russell Dern

We stopped in without a reservation on a weeknight and although we were underdressed after travel were seated immediately. The service was prompt and attentive. The food (steaks) were excellent, though the filet mignon was not enough better to justify the cost. The sides (fries and asparagus) were tasty, and the potions were generous. We enjoyed the Montepulciano we had with dinner, reasonably priced for the quality.

e filson

Everything was ridiculously salty except for the cocktails which were ridiculously sweet. It's more "French" than French. Server didn't really know the wines.

Rafik Awad

Decent food, decent service but vibes just alright. No screen by the bar, chairs are old and not comfortable, bathrooms aren’t clean...I expected better. Much more room for improvement.

Diane Weist

Quite possibly the most ungracious and unwelcoming of dining experiences I have had 8n a very long time, not to mention the quality of the food- perhaps I would have done better at McDonald's across the street. When I tried to gain attention of manager several times-tan man balance head, he was either texting on his phone or sipping from his paper cup. I had been to Goghon almost a year ago when in town where bar service was great with a somelier who intoduced me and other patrons to a great South African Rose. It was upbeat and lively. Now I recommend do not bother it is sadly not a place for dining but convenient for the unknowing or unsophisticated Hyatt guest who could give nearby Resurrection Hall a try and fare much better. Obvious new ownership seeks money but does not care about cultivating a true guest experience on all levels. I am writing this publicly as the card presented with my check required a permanent marker in order for me to write my comments.

Rochelle Gonzales

Fantastic open face croque monsieur with fries and salad. Big portion. Very tasty. Nice ambiance and service. Can't wait to go back.

Dsscpa59

The food is always delicious and the portions are large

Simple Markets

Horrible customer service. Staff was rude, condescending, and overall acted like they were doing us a favor by serving us. Newsflash: it's your job. Won't be going back here ever again.

Paul O'Neill

Mussels and frites were excellent. Great whiskey selection. Excellent service.

John McHugh

Fine ambiance with okay food.

Jessica Vanahill

Food was good. People were nice.

Mike

Came for French onion soup, and was not disappointed. Definitely worth the trip. Will visit again and will try other items on the menu.

Petra Rosvall

The space and vibe are great. The food is ok. I'll go again.

Ron Mex

If you like burgers this place is in my top 3. The royale is a must. Our server was attentive and just the best. Everyone else was brunching but that burger made my day! : - )

James Breeling

Bustling. We liked the fact that it specialized in steak but had numerous vegetarian items to choose from. Came for a late dinner and made a robust meal from several appetizers - all of which were delicious

A.J. Katharopoulos

Was very good overall, but maybe a little more expensive than it needed to be ...

matt johnson

Cute French style cafe in the loop. Met there for a business lunch. It wasn't too noisy which was great and the coffee and pastries were pretty solid. The service was sub par, though. My colleague and I sat for 45 minutes without having the waiter come back, ask us for more coffee, if we wanted the check, etc. We ended up having to get up and track the waiter down so we could leave. I hope this is a onetime occurrence, but it definitely impacted our time there.

Molly Tullis

We went here on a Saturday afternoon with a reservation, but it wasn't too crowded or rowdy (rare for a Saturday afternoon brunch). Everything that we ordered was great - do not sleep on the bread basket (the breads are all made in house and the spreads are divine). Other highlights included the eggs benedict and the biscuits and gravy!

Kang Chiu

Excellently prepared dishes that satisfied our appetite for French food with an American twist.

Jordan Bayles

Excellent service, food menu was pretty solid but mostly uninspiring. I was happy with the meal, but at this price point I would expect better vision from the kitchen. For example, the mussel frites--the presentation with the fries was somewhat bizarre, as they were already starting to get soggy and the mussel sauce was soso. The bruschetta was on high quality sourdough, but was primarily just a massive amount of bland peas. The salad was kind of confusing, the fry ball was a weird addition and the vinaigrette was kind of oppressive, without any refreshing notes. Cocktails were good, and the wine list was alright--definitely not priced to sell bottles, but by the glass was fine. I think the staff is a huge plus (our server was lovely), with some rework of the menu I could definitely consider coming back. It's a crowded market segment in Chicago, I would like to see some differentiation.

Michelle Denault

Honestly disappointed by this restaurant. The price was high for breakfast and food a bit heavy. That being said, the service was excellent.

Tim MacLaughlin-Barck

Really enjoyed this french dining! We had a Saturday morning breakfast. I had the corned beef hash, which was 95% shredded corned beef. Eggs were poached perfectly! Avacado toast was delicious, although the bread was so thickly cut it was hard to eat. The pancakes we're great! Good coffee, excellent french waiter. Would go back anytime.

David Lynch

Great spot especially on the weekend when nothing around it is open. We had the corned beef hash, coffee/latte, waffles, bakery were all good. Friendly staff.

Terry McGuire

Very good food and service in a convenient location.

Tracy Burton

Don't even bother.... terrible service + equally poor food. I would have been happier at pret a mange

Alex Golod

Classic French bistro fare. They do french onion soup and various dips well. A lot of protein rich choices. Service is pretty efficient and competent. Prices are on a higher side, as expected. Good wine and cocktail list.

Tony Buck

We wanted to have dinner close to the theater. She loves French food, so we here we are. Started off with French onion soup. It eased very good, the broth was rich and flavorful, without being too salty. For our entree we each had the classique, with chefs butter and bearnaise sauce. Both of our streaks were cook just the way we're like them. And the frites that with were very special. So crisp on the outside, and fluffy and creamy on the inside. They came with a garlic aiolithat just amplified the goodness of the frites. We also had the charred broccoli, they give you plenty of that. The chocolate mousse were shared for dessert, was light. creamy and flavorful. The service was good.

Kathryn May

Great food great wine! I recommend this for a night where you truly want tohave a full dining experience vs a quick in and out. It is a French restaurant so... Beet salad, warm brie and the cauliflower were amazing!

Denise L

Came for breakfast with a colleague at 7:30 on a weekday and service was quick. Food was good and portions are very generous. Would go back.

I am only reviewing the Host, as I left before they could sit us down and try any of the food or service. From the time I arrived to the time I left, the host seemed very unfriendly, unaccomadating and unwelcoming. The host really needs to improve there interaction with customers as well as maybe improve on their problem solving skills. I had a reservation for 6.15pm, I arrived (walked up to the host stand) at exactly 6.30pm. Immediately when I told the host about the reservation, he rolled his eyes and said that he gave our table away as they only hold reservations for 15 mins past the reservation time. A little strange since I walked in at exactly 15 mins past the reservation time, then they must have given the table away before the 15 mins was up, but fine I can let the host's reaction and situation slide. However the main reason for the one star review is that we were told that we would be seated at the next available table. Since we arrived and during the 20 mins we waited, there were two tables near the bar that were open. I initially thought these tables were being held for other reservations, until two couples walked in (without reservations) and were immediately offered and sat at the bar tables. I immediately talked to the host about this and his excuse was that he didn't think we would want to sit at a bar table and thus didn't think to offer it to us. I believe he was being sincere when he said this, as he seemed genuinely confused when I asked about it. I, however, have no idea where he got this thought from, as I gave no indication that I had a preference, and I am even more confused on how he was willing to let us wait, who knows how long, for a normal dining table to open up before I decided to go talk to him again. Anyway at that point we decided to leave and go to an Italian restaurant down the road. Please retrain or hire new hosts! Your host's service is really letting your restaurant down and giving customers a bad first imppression of the restaurant.

Cheryl Garrett

Love the food and atmosphere- great place for cocktails and bites, or dinner. Very good wine.

Pablo Luna

Exceptional bartender (Larry). Knows how to mix a proper Corpse Reviver 1 and 2 and good conversation. Food is high quality.

Michael Tokarski

Very nice, reasonable prices, be sure to try the bacon.

Wendy Miranda

The most amazing breakfast. Great service!

Holly Waddle

Sunday Brunch was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this place.

Leslie Leitch

Amazing mussels. Best deal for a hearty dinner.

Louis Stone

This is *not* your typical hotel restaurant. While I'm sure they do very well at dinner, don't overlook the breakfast. I'm partial to the corned beef and my wife loves the Belgian waffles. One waffle can reasonably serve two people! The coffee is good - a HUGE plus in my book.

Nathalie Cuevas-Rosa

Be prepared to have a wait after seated during lunch time. The ceasar salad and chicken. Dip sandwich is phenomenal. Great portions.

Ally Morrison

Very nice French cuisine. Excellent location. Friendly service. Highly recommend

Ezekiel

Food portions, dinner-wise, were a hit-and-miss. Some items were just the right portion for the price and some were not. Although, they did have a great wine list. Lighting was a bit too dim for casual dining. The atmosphere was more for date nights or a quiet dinner with some wine.

Duygu Gerceker

Well crafted menu and drinks, fancy setting. Right in the heart of downtown, easy to access. Offers both indoor and outdoor seating.

Ernesto N

I really like this place. I've been here many times and the only bad thing I have to say is that it can be a bit loud. But the food is always great! The drinks and wines are excellent. Todd the bartender too care of me today and did an excellent job. One of the few French restaurant in the downtown area and what an excellent place to go.

Adrian Bueno

Went here for a work lunch. Ordered the Smoked Pastrami Dip, confident to say this was a great pick. It comes in a homemade baguette, probably the best baguette I have had outside of Paris. The pastrami is juicy, it comes with fries and hot au jus, perfect combo. Overall great food and awesome service!

Jennifer Kane

Good service, great location, friendly staff. Delicious food!

Marie Everything

We stayed at the hotel in the same building, so we happened to visit this restaurant 5 times. The food is ok. Some dishes are delicious, some are not. Everything is a bit too salty. The service is not the best. We basically begged for sliced avocado instead of oxydised premade mix. We also had to ask for fruit plates, pasta and hard boiled eggs for our kids. Every single time we would get an answer " no, we don't have any eggs, pasta, fresh veggies or fruits in our restaurant". This sounds ridiculous. They were able to find all of it except for pasta after we insisted. Thank you, 1 of the waiter there, who was welcoming and nice.

Jonathan Carter

We did pre-theatre al fresco dinner at Cochon. The server was very attentive and on point. For apps we did the chicken liver mousse (just for me) :-) which came with delightful buttered toasts and also the croque madame egg rolls. Both very tasty. For entrees we did the classique steak frites, added bordelaise, and the moules frites. Also, both yummy. We washed things down with a couple different wines. We warmed up with the Monmousseau (sparkling) and finished with the Reverdy Pinot Noir and Nautilus Sauv Blanc. The Reverdy was warm and friendly. The Nautilus a refreshing and crisp compliment to the buttery mussels.

Ken Ovryn

Meh. Very expensive meh. Loud, ugly, worn-out room. Dirty windows. Gouges in tables. Iffy service. Every drink is at least $14. $170 for an meh lunch is just stupid.

Z Che

Okay food, nice environment. Not a big fan of croque.

Ryan Bautista

Solid burger. If you like thick bacon that is almost ham like, you will like the burger. If you are expecting cripsy bacon, you will be disappointed. The mussels dish my friend looked and smelled good. He said he would get the dish again and recommends it.

Matthew O'Brien

Extremely good breakfast. The smoked salmon platter it a must and their pastries are tasty. Service is of the French mindset that we will service you, but on our timeline.

Marcus Jameson

Horrible coffee, horrible service. Food way below avg.
