CH Distillery has a great cocktail bar. Their servers and bartenders are well versed with the menu. The space is a bit small but also offer outdoor seating. You can also get a tour of the distillery where they make their own vodka.

The service here was nice and they were quick to get us seated. However, the cocktails fell flat. I had a gin based drink and I couldn't tell if it was the actual gin that didn't have any floral notes to it or if the cocktail mixers was what brought it down - there was no depth to it. The same thing with my husband's spicy old fashioned, which was not very good either...

It was a nice place and sampling of spirits would have been nice. However there was four of us there and we all felt suckered after getting the bill for doing shots. Would have been cheaper to offer us bottles rather then drink shots for the time we were there. We had to beg for the waiter to get us anything and just felt ignored from the moment we walked in. For the price we paid we should have received much better service. Been there done it and will never go there again.

This place was unexpectedly awesome. Went there for Restaurant Week and got a fabulous set of food and drinks. Not a bad seat in the place as you're flanked by huge tanks of hooch. Good times!

Came here for a friends bday post dinner. They do have food, but it's more snacky options rather than dinner. I tried the baron takes tea and the cease and desist - the latter tastes like a red hot that has been melted. Maybe good for your throat? the baron takes tea was not tea tasting at all, and I really liked this drink, I think they had muddled some fennel in it, great taste over all. This place is loud for sure, but they do distill and infuse their own gin and vodka. Good for a night out for drinks and they reserve tables/ areas for your party. What's really cool is that they do tours of the distillery area for you to learn their process and point of differentiation, and do a tasting with that as well. Definitely worth checking out.

Drinks are good but expensive. I really hate the bar itself. It's illuminated and extremely bright while the rest of the place is pretty dark. It hurts my eyes. Maybe give it a try but don't sit at the bar.

I've been here for several events over the past few years. It's a cool space that is never too crowded. And the staff is always super chill. It's a great spot for after street festivals like Taste of Randolph and they usually have events going on from Christmas-themed cocktail months to stand up comedy nights and industry events.

So yes it's kind of pricey. I wouldn't go here and order any of the snacks as their portion size seems to be more of a tasting than anything, but the food quality is good so I will give them a pass. We had for drinks while we were there. Gin and tonic, was quite tasty but not what I expected. The gin they use has a smoky quality that is pleasant, but I don't understand why they don't use their London dry gin in the drink and stay true to the classic cocktail. I can't complain too much because the drink was great though. The daiquiri was exceptional and would have Hemingway himself coming back for more. The cease and desist, was my absolute favorite drink and makes for an excellent reason to stop by this place on your way home from a dinner on Randolph street. The Orient express was also tasty and had a great presentation.

The prettiest distillery I've ever been to. We did the tour which was extremely entertaining, informative, and affordable. The cocktails are reasonably priced as well, and they are delicious. The service all around was excellent. I haven't done the food yet, but will be back soon to give it a go.

I went to CH Distillery for afterwork drinks and dinner with the girls. They were featuring a special menu from Union Sushi. I ordered the spicy shrimp rolls and tuna cup which was delish. I like the vibe of the place. Great scenery and people. My friend ordered a drink that she didn't like and the server happily exchanged it for another. I'll definitely be back.

They only have cocktails, no beer or wine. The cocktail I tried was good, and the chili was very good. Wait staff were pleasant. They did inform us that after about 7pm one needs a reservation to get in. Around 6pm it started getting pretty loud, to where normal conversation was not possible.

One of the best cocktail places in Chicago. Cease and Desist is the best and I cannot even remember how many of those drinks I've had so far. Was fortunate enough to get the recipe and I make it now when we throw House parties. They also used to make Gooey butter cake which was phenomenal but unfortunately is not available anymore on their menu.

From the moment you walk in the sleek space, gleaming distillery equipment and minimalist style tell you that this is no ordinary bar. They make gin, vodka, whiskey and a few other spirits on site and use only local ingredients in both the distilling process and their cocktails. I'm a huge cocktail nerd and throughly enjoyed the Cease and Desist and a seasonal drink with hints of Earl Grey tea.

If you like sweet drinks then I would suggest the Orient express. Sweet, creamy, and smooth with a very nice presentation. If you like something bitter then go for the cease and desist. You can't go wrong with either one. Other recommendations are the daiquiri and the potato pancakes. The price seems right for the quality drinks you get.

Nice bar, good atmosphere! Love the gingerbread mule drink, my boyfriend had their old fashioned and like it. We also ordered a side of cheese and it came with toast and jelly! They don't have good food options so don't come here hungry.... Overall a great bar for hang out :)

Outstanding distilled products - their vodka is particularly good. The mixed drinks are quite good as well, showcasing their product well. The food available is all small plates, but we made a nice dinner out of it. Atmosphere is an upscale bar, so it's a bit loud.

I love their unique cocktails where the spirits are distilled on premises. If you get a chance definitely do the distillery tour/tasting. It's really interesting to taste vodka in all it's different states before it's ready to be bottled. I only knocked off 1 star b/c this place can be realllly slow bringing out your cocktail. Make sure you have time to stay if you come in.

A beautiful modern space with some wicked delish drinks. I am not usually a fan of vodka and I told this to the bartender during my first visit. His response was to give me a taste of their ice cold vodka straight up. *shiver*. But, I am who I am- and that means I've got to try anything that is put in front of me so I puffed out my chest and braved the cold (vodka, that is)! And you know what? It was DELICIOUS. So smooth and easy to drink, even on it's own. Their cocktail list is studded with perfectly executed classic beverages along with many tea infused or peppercorn speckled options if you are looking for an interesting twist. Their cocktails and spirits are a must, however, I would not shy you away from checking out their food items either. Prepared in a cube like open air area right next to the bar, irresistible scents will be wafting your way as you enjoy your ice cold hand crafted beverages. Cheers!

Stopped in here while I was waiting for my table at Avec down the street. I got the old fashioned since I am an old school whiskey drinker. It was quite good and came at a fair price. The atmosphere and service was phenomenal. Our server was glad to explain all the drinks to us and help out with any questions we had. He was also genuinely interested in our feedback on the drinks and what we liked / didn't like.

The food is tasty, I guess if friends wanted to go there, I would, but it would never be my suggestion that we go there. 2 years later I'm back and I didn't eat, but the had a martini made with some special vodka. It was the best Martini I ever had. The staff there is awesome, it seems like I met everyone who worked there. I had a great time. I going to give it another star.

The cocktails here are very good. The mixologists are to notch, and the bar food is absolutely great. The staff is awesome, so willing to explain anything to you, and they make you feel they are genuinely happy to have you there. My favorite cocktail is Rosemary's Baby. It's sweet, sour and savory. I have bought everything they make here, and I have bought them over and over. They are very good.

Drinks are good but pricey. 18% tip is added to all bills which is fine for food but not on drinks. All liquor drinks are $12 but with tio and tax are almost $16. This place distills all of it's own liquor so you pay a premium. The food experience was very poor and extremely expensive for tiny portions. The hush puppies were too dry and you only get 5 for $9; the tiny and poorly flavored mussels were also regrettable $17 why tip/tax for a snack; the poutine didn't taste like poutine.

Becoming a go to spot for us. Right off the train, has fantastic service, and great drinks. I have learned a lot more about liquors from the bartenders there, who also make some killer cocktails. Even when they are packed, and it can get a bit crowded, the service is still amazing. Great place to enjoy some great local spirits in a cool atmosphere with the distillery right behind the glass.
