This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Cafe.
The Marie-Jeanne omelette was incredible. I recommend the avocado toast as well. Everything we had was wonderful... You pay for quality over quantity here. The portions are just right. You can order a meal with a couple sides and actually finish everything in one sitting... The coffee was great too. I will definitely come back.
You pay for quality over quantity here. The portions are just right. You can order a meal with a couple sides and actually finish everything in one sitting... The coffee was great too. I will definitely come back.Thursday evening only - $20 burger, beer, and fries. It was okay burger and fries. Onion jam was good if you don't mind the sweetness. The burger patty was cooked perfectly
If you like French food ... This is your spot ...
Meh, liked the place that was there before more than this place. Portions are small. Food is expensive. I can tell people take a lot of care in producing their food. Service is nice. But i went in there once after it was rebranded/ new owner. Wouldve left a 3star but amazed how rude whoever runs the comments on here was to a civil negative reviewer. “Want a handkerchief to soak up your big man tears?” -WOW
Interesting and tasty French food. Really enjoyed the calf brains and chicken liver pate.
The meat was tasty, but not enough for the price. I don't understand why the TOAST is OVER COOKED, and the over priced small size order of FRENCH FRIES were OVER COOKED.
Food was delicious. Service was slow. Think we caught it at just the wrong time though because our server apologized for the kitchen getting backed up. Definitely going back to give them another shot.
Good n simple food (:
Service is wonderful. Food is great. Nothing negative here. Do brunch, dinner, and dessert. Can't miss.
I was looking for some French food and I was here because it was recommended by time out in Chicago the place was obviously retro it had salvaged pieces but these pieces were not lovely pieces they were simply pieces in addition it was dark and and it was a rainy day outside and the place inside was quite dark the price on the draft beer was good and they had several selections the food prices were individual and quite High I thought so I ordered a croque-monsieur I got a sandwich on homemade bread that was burnt and dry I got one piece of cheese that had melted out from the sandwich over to the sides and about half a piece of extremely thin ham I thought this was excessive for $12 in addition there are no accompaniment you don't get a piece of fruit you don't get vegetables you just get a sandwich on a plate. the waiter was very pleasant.
I think it’s in my top three places to eat in chicago.
I am going to attempt to visit this restaurant on all future Chicago visits. Absolutely delicious!
Ive never had a bad dish here in 5+ visits with friends... Smoked chicken was probably the best chicken Ive ever had... no joke. Great servers, everytime.... P.s. read the owners’ responses to reviews, absolutely hilarious... just another reason I will keep coming back...
Good food, great service, decent parking options, and a nice ambience!
Loved this place l had the side order of fruit, hot smoked salmon with an extra order with avocado toast. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was only an oz. of salmon but great food.
Poor service, took over 1hr to receive meal, smoked chicken, no side dishes and the bread was burnt. Would not recommend at all.
Great atmosphere and just so lovely. Food was amazing!
With a very chill come-as-you-are atmosphere Cafe Marie-Jeanne may not seem the part of a bib-gourmand resturant at first but as the sun sets, the candles come out and wine is poured, you'll begin to see this small, funky bistro in a different light. With a rustic French inspired menu complemented by New-American dishes (chicago style lobster roll) the atmosphere is at once playful, innovative and unpretentious.
Excellent food, beverages, and service (HMBLT!!! Best. Sandwich. Ever.)
Service was great! Dagwood sandwich was delicious and all around nice experience.
Very good. We sat outside. The people were very nice. Food is excellent. Get the breakfast sandwich!
So delicious!! Happy hour is not to be missed. Gracious folks serve up elevated food in a very comfortable, relaxed environment. Thanks for providing a lovely venue to celebrate.
Love this place! Mike and his crew are artists with a finely tuned palette. This is the perfect place to go for anyone who enjoys good food and friendly staff. It has an intimate atmosphere that's perfect for being able to hold a conversation without being drown out by background noise. Oh, and did I mention the great food?
I was brought back to France while eating here. The sautéed mushrooms are worth it alone. The whole family enjoyed the experience.
Sophisticated and elegant food in a casual and relaxed setting. Absolutely great neighborhood spot with great service!
Our waitress was really great, which feels rare these days. She asked if we have any allergies (I do) & I really appreciated that. The food and coffee were great. The decor is super cute too. I would definitely visit again / recommend.
I had a pleasant experience, friendly waitstaff, and good food, but the waits were a little towards the long side and the carrots were a bit unevenly cooked. It's in very close proximity to several other great locations but I will certainly go back and test the consistency--Everyone has off days and I don't like to review poorly on only one trip.
Really good baked goods! Nice staff too!
Delicious, inventive dishes that are well prepared and served. Dont be in a hurry; take time to enjoy it all.
Delicious food, excellent service.
The avocado toast is incredibly delicious. Very cute quaint atmosphere with great friendly service. Highly cultured in a neighborhood of already kitschy awesomeness.
Such a lovely cafe, great atmosphere and good food.
Thursday evening only - $20 burger, beer, and fries. It was okay burger and fries. Onion jam was good if you don't mind the sweetness. The burger patty was cooked perfectly. They fried the bun that made it very oily and soggy that we are not a fan of. The fries were a bit too over fried for our liking. Really nice service and decor though.
Wow. This restaurant has been on my want to go list for a while and it did not disappoint. The dishes are simplistic but do not lack in flavor. We went for brunch and tried the smoked chicken, omelet marie jean, jambon and the poutine. They were ALL delicious, and surprisingly my favorite was the smoked chicken. Its served over two pieces of toast and the most amazing balsamic reduction I have ever tasted. The omelet marie jean is french style so the eggs are soft scrambled which was amazing. The service was great. Our food took a while to come out but in my opinion just adds to the french vibe so I didnt mind. Unfortunately by the time we got there and sat down (around 1:30) they were out of biscuits and croissants so that was a bummer but it's ok because we will definitely be back. All in all, this place is a must!!
Bare bones interior, over priced wines, staff who don’t care to explain or sell you anything, and cheap flimsy flat ware are the bad things to expect when you walk into this cafe. They were out of the caviar toast the day we visited even though all the fish houses in town deliver on the day we came. The food over all was good. The escargot and chanterelle tart was well made, the smoked salmon was nicely presented, and the duck dish huge. I’m glad we ordered little by little because it was my first time and the server didn’t explain that some dishes are two bites and others are meant to share amongst a group. There’s also a fryer smell coming from the kitchen. Wear clothes you don’t mind smelling and that wash easily.
Amazing food always. A bit over priced though
Had such a great experience. They are pretty busy but the wait isn't that long or abnormal for brunch in the city. Loved the mix of high and low price options on the menu. Definitely try an omelet or grits. Biggest regret is coming too late and missing out on the biscuits. Also Metric has a special roast for them which is just a nice added touch for coffee.
Sensational! Cafe Marie-Jeanne is a upbeat yet casual place in Humboldt Park that is perfect for date night or cocktails with friends. They serve impeccable, rustic French food. Most importantly, the food is really, really good. You’re going to love it for the atmosphere and incredible flavors!
Very tasty restaurant, the duck frites are fantastic!
Very tasty but very pricey for the serving sizes. Seems like what the rich folks taking over eastern Humboldt park are looking for.
This is a wonderful place with a great atmosphere and delicious food... but the surly waitress threw a shadow over the whole evening. What a disappointment. I should have said something to a manager, but we just wanted to get out of there. With all the effort you put into your beautiful dishes, why tolerate servers who do not measure up?
Delicious, inventive food in Casual, inspiring atmosphere
I love this place. Great food. Super hipster vibe. Really nice people. Totally worth visiting and as often as possible.
There needs to be quality control out of the kitchen. Everything is over salted and priced. For the most part only one good waitress the rest oh well. The place is neat and clean but at this price point I would expect better services.
Excellent Food And Pastries!
Sat on the patio and enjoyed a great meal. Staff was friendly and the menu was very diverse. Lamb sausage, eggs over easy with Bottarga toast is one example.
Ohhhh she good
Delightful Sunday brunch. Service was lovely but the food was OMG superb. French toast with peaches, wonderful ham off the bone, cheddar biscuits that rival the best my Southern aunts make, plus wonderful eggs, coffee and mimosas. I will definitely return.
I entered the establishment because it was called a cafe and I needed to take a quick call. When I entered the nearly vacant place, a person approached me asking in a confused way (not polite and welcoming as hosts typically do) how could he help me. I told him I just needed to take a call. He shrugged, gave me a menu and showed me to a seat. I sat down and then a waitress came over. She asked me was I ordering anything, and I repeated to her that I was planning to order anything at that time. Soon after that, the person who claimed to be the owner came over to me and started in on a lecture about how it was inappropriate to come to a restaurant (which looked like a coffee shop) and not order anything DESPITE THE FACT that I told her I would order a piece of toast and despite the fact that she saw that I was on a teleconference. I thought it was rude and unacceptable to speak to a potentially paying patron in that way rather than objectively state the policy and ask if I would like to purchase anything. When I went to settle the bill and speak to the manager about her actions, she continued to interrupt me, was sarcastic, condescending and offensive. I will not EVER go that restaurant again, and I do not recommend that you so so either. I have not been talked to like that since I was in 3rd grade, and I was disgusted.
Unique menu with killer breakfast options and cozy atmosphere.
Awesome food, tried multiple plates and all was great. Servers were great and very attentive.
Our waitress was very knowledgable about the menu and their wines. Food was delicious! I’ll be back for sure.
Pretty lovely way to pass an afternoon. Great staff, terrific food.
One of the worst dining experiences in a long time. Made a reservation, but don’t bother. The place was not very busy. Yet the staff can’t seem to keep up with the demand. We ordered a few dishes that should take minutes to prepare but it took over an hour. The salad was overly salted- and I love salt. Ordered the chicken, which is suppose to sit on top of a toasted bread. The bread was burnt to hard charcoal and unedible. The cod with chanterelles had 1 piece of chanterelle and tasted fishy. The staff said that they were short staffed. Maybe that was true in kitchen, but there was plenty of wait staff and our waitress was unapologetic for the delay and food problem. On top of that the music was way too loud. The price would have been fair for a place that uses local ingredients- but the execution, service, and management is a failure. I don’t know how a place like this stays in business other than the fact that a lot of hipster joints in this neighborhood get a pass.
I love this place. Great variety of options that are well prepared. Wonderful ambience and service.
Great place!!
Order anything, and you will be happy. Uncomplicated Foods, great service and chill vibes. Coffee is properly brewed (big plus) Finish with doughnuts
Came to Chicago for a visit. Told about this place and that we should give it a try. The food was very good and so was the service. Now it's your turn to give them a try!
Absolutely fantastic spot! So glad we checked it out. Think Joe Beef meets Chicago. It's a very casual spot but there is nothing casual about the food. They source quality product, prepare it expertly and offer a good selection of natural wines. Cheers to Chef Simmons who is crushing it!
Very good coffee; and the French Toast was great and the trout omelette with row was even better. Highly recommend.
As a safe bet, just order the whole menu.
Best service, best food, best atmosphere; best breakfast/brunch in the City.
One of the best burgers in the city. Outstanding!
I don't even know how to explain this place. 10 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Nice people, completely overpriced. I felt like paying for air. Ordered the breakfast sandwich (12$) with avocado and bacon. It was supposed to come with cheese and eggs. It had one egg, overcooked and one slice of cheese very difficult to find. It had a slight breeze of avocado and one slice of bacon. It's ridiculous.
Cozy neighborhood favorite great for brunch or dinner. Creative French cuisine with evolving menu of specials and seasonal features.
Delicious, savory food. Unique meal options. Good prices. Parking is difficult because of the area on the northwest side of Chicago.
Their chicken hearts were amazing and the prices were modest!
Everything I want from a neighborhood Cafe. Well thought out, beautiful executed and tastefully served food in a casual, comfortable and friendly space. If finances allowed, I'd be here everyday they're open, often multiple times a day.
Alt cafe serving Frenchy nibbles, in a casual setting. Quick counter service.
Neighborhood feel with truly great products coming out of the kitchen. Wonderful wait staff as well. And a credible latte that didn't taste like it was pumped out of a factory
Food was great but the service was super cold. Basically did the bare minimum to get us in and out. Took order, dropped food. No other communication. It’s fine but not awesome when you’re entertaining a guest from out of town. Oh well.
Best breakfast I have had in ages! Wanted to try everything on the menu and quality of food was outstanding. Service great and even accomodating to kids!
Great menu selection and superbly prepared. Can't remember everything we ate but it was all very well prepared and tasty. Can't wait to go back.
It's casual, friendly atmosphere is what you would expect from a neighborhood place, but the food is world class. If you are jonesing for a real French omelette, delicious cheese and a bottle of sparkling for lunch, this is your Paris substitute.
Everyone should go. The menu may take some navigating however the staff and owners are there to help and you should trust them. Easy to loose whole afternoons or evenings in this place
Great cozy place ! I’m glad I stopped by even is not my area, they have an amazing service and high quality food
Excellent brunch. The cheddar biscuits are out of this world.
One of the best restaurants in the city!
Breakfast they will blow your mind! The flakiest, butteriest biscuits. Buttermilk pancakes that really were like my Grandma's. I can't wait to go back!
My 6th visit so far... Super friendly staff, always smiling. Food is very rich, but worth it! My favorite dish by far is the chicken liver mousse. Omelet eggs are perfect with roe and trout.
Nice chill place to come and visit. Enjoyed lunch with good coffee and it was relaxing. They have an outdoor seating area during the summer but during the winter you can eat inside and they have plenty of space to seat. They have good pastries as well as coffee if that's all you want on your visit. Also good cocktails to consider, will stop again.
Kid friendly! Wait staff was awesome!
Incredible
Wonderful French place with good wine selection, breakfast, and the air of authenticity that comes with the attempt at a little grocery store in there. If youve been to really any little French cafe this place first the bill. I love the food, the service, and the atmosphere. Only thing keeping this place from getting 5 stars is overpriced bottles of wine and no byob. My favorite little French place before this was in another town. They had a legit grocery store.in there where you could buy wine pretty much at retail and drink it there I would come to this place much more often if that were the case here.
Shocked at the service we received tonight. We asked about the specials and were told to get up and go take a picture of them. Then we asked if we could be seated just a bit further from the door and were told no. However, another walk-in group asked to be moved and they were accommodated. We left because frankly, they didn’t deserve our business.
The food is great, and locally-sourced. The staff is very friendly. All-around, pretty great.
I don't know how to even explain what this place is. Words can not do it justice. This restaurant is amazing. If you want a terrific traditional French Cafe experience, this is the place. If you want the best cured and preserved fish in Chicago, this is the place. If you just want a great meal, this is the place. Just drop whatever you are doing and come here.
I've had breakfast there, 2 days in a row and both have been outstanding. The lamb sausage and blood sausage are perfect, portions are thoughtful in size and seasoning and all of the other Ala Cart options are wonderful. The meats are prepared in house...even the eggs were great! Coffee was excellent too. Chef came out to visit, service was wonderful. The space is large and sunlit, great for couples, groups or family. My new favorite breakfast place, as I love putting sides together. Can't wait to go back for brunch and dinner! Well done.
Lovely food and staff. Top notch
Smoked briskets - mmmm
I think I found a new favorite.
Delicious. Ran out of croissants during brunch, though. Please make more!
A great neighborhood cafe, with a good assortment of soups, salads, sandwiches. Now drawing from the rest of the city. Good bar and coffee. Very casual.
Best breakfast or meal any time of the day. If your in Chicago this has to be on your list!
Everything about this restaurant is lovely. Casual ambience, great coffee and pastries, stellar Michelin level food. A gem!
Really enjoyed the smoked fish and omelette. Very reasonable, loads of choice and helpful staff. Sat at bar which is good for solo dining. Recommend the gravadlax.
Conversationally quite Americanized on the FOH. Amazing Croque Madame !
Went here with some friends and we had 3 sandwiches. The smoked chicken salad sandwich and HMBLT were both awesome with great thick portions of meat, the bread was nice and crispy, and everything tasted extremely fresh. Great chill atmosphere too.
A fantastic spot for brunch, dinner, and everything in between. This place has everything you could want in a cozy-but-classy dining experience. The menu has a ton of variety, but doesn't sacrifice quality for the sake of options. Want something simple and comforting, like scrambled eggs with a side of bacon or a fennel salad? You can get it. Want a seafood feast for breakfast, complete with hot-smoked salmon, caviar, and sumptuous raw oysters? Wish granted. Want a unique treat with seasonal ingredients from an often-changing specials menu, like rabbit stew or gourmet french toast? Done. The a la carte menu at CMJ makes it easy to order as small or as large as you have a taste for. Waitstaff is super friendly, very knowledgeable and eager to answer questions regarding the menu. They are also conscientious about allergies and dietary restrictions. The drinks are on par with the food and the cocktails here don't disappoint. My favorite is the soda-based Cocktail Marie-Jeanne; the entire thing is a mix of effervescence, sweet and citrus without being overwhelming. The tightly-curated wine and beer list keeps it simple, but offers some unique finds and smart choices that highlight the food. Café Marie-Jeanne lives up to the "Café" part of their name; the coffee and espresso are outstanding. CMJ has a menu that pays homage to French cuisine in a comfortable space, and offers a lot of variety without trying to be a brewpub or eclectic fusion experience. Highly recommended.
Food was great, but it was so damn hot in there.
Really good food. Finally got to try the habanero biscuit. It was superb.
[Updated] I have been back a couple more times. Always the service was welcoming and considerate. The food quality is exceptional. This is a true neighborhood gem. [Original review.] I have only been once for the $20 burger, fries, beer special on Thursday nights but I have to say the burger was easily one of the best I have ever had. Better than Loyalist, Au Cheval, PQM, Maillard Tavern, etc and those are all very good burgers. The fries are also quite good - crispy, cooked in duck fat. It's a cute spot, the old copper style ceiling is intact. It get lots of natural light from the south and west. The service was very good. I was worried the service would be typical for the area, full of hipster aloofness, but it was warm and welcoming all around. This was the best surprise of a meal I have had in a while and I am excited to go back for the standard menu.
Went for a business lunch, I had 2 eggs over medium (yolk was still pretty runny), hash browns (kinda over cooked) & 3-4 slices of bacon (not crispy, just decent). My associate had 2 eggs over easy (cooked perfectly), 3-4 slices bacon (same result) and toast (don't think you can mess up toast). His verdict was the pretty much the same. Pros: Beautiful place, wonderful atmosphere, good service, up scale menu Cons: Kinda $$ pricey, portions are on the smaller to kinda medium end, food was just okay. Conclusion: Perfect place for a nice fast date or get together. Food value in my personal opinion is just not there, but it's still decent. Unfortunately acoustics are kinda bad for business meetings/lunches (at least on Sunday afternoon). But i will give it a 2nd shot.
The parisian style coffee shop is what makes it quite amazing. The food is good and the service is above average.
The worst experience ever at a restaurant I ordered simple eggs bacon and hash brown now how could you mess that up believe me they did now I've been cooking for a while for a few years now and I know pre-cooked bacon when I have it and that bacon was definitely precooked dry and hard not a hash browns or super soggy and my age had so much grease in it I feel bad for my heart and if you think that was the worst part about it my bill was over $20 just for myself I would have had a better experience at IHOP
had the best omelette of my life here once and on another occasion had one of the worst meals of my life here. so hit and miss, service can be rather slow. generally a bit over-priced but the menu hides some gems.
Our favorite place in Chicago. Friendly staff, amazing food, open all the time. Breakfast? They got you. Lunch? Yup. Dinner. Oh yeah. Even got late night drinks. Fantastic wine program and adventurous foods mixed with reliable standards. Couldn't ask for more.
The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I visited during brunch time and I was seated accordingly. I had to avocado toast, and my company had the chicken salad sandwich, both turned out great selections. I have yet to try other items of their menu but I most definitely be back for more.
Nice space. Nice (hipstery) vibe. Good burger but sauce was too sweet on it.
Great food, awesome service
Very cute vibe, tasty food and even kid friendly! Perfect brunch spot.
Delightful rich croissants and biscuits.
Fantastic neighborhood cafe, high end and unusual brunch options (I always get the boudin noir) , completely unpretentious.
Fantastic food, great wait staff
Great service and delicious food
Bloody great! Can't believe we just discovered this place. So refreshing in Chicago. Feels like we could be somewhere else. Food is delicious, especially the pate!
Coughy is great
Went for dinner and asked to hear about the specials that were written on a chalk board across the restaurant from our table was told by our server that she can take a picture with our phone so we can read them. That is effing insanity! That is the laziest level of service to be offered in a seemingly nice restaurant maybe ever. I don’t want to look at a phone screen in a restaurant let alone READ the menu off of one. I was told the specials just change so often she can remember them all.... WRITE THEM DOWN THEM! Then when we asked why the side of asparagus was $15 she said it was white asparagus and that makes it special and when it came out it was GREEN and bitter with some unnecessary other stuff on top. The dark meat of the smoked chicken was dry, the steak was oddly flavorless. 1 star for the wine we ordered and 1 star for the risotto. We should have sent back the asparagus and the steak but we’re too midwestern to do stuff like that so we sucked it up paid our stupid tab and won’t be back.
amazing affordable food with great wine/beer selection. Quiet area with lots of seating. They also retail bottles of wine and beer, which is great for those who enjoy their menu.
The cheddar biscuit will explode your mind. Add butter plus jelly. Go early cuz those bad boys sell out quick. Once I went and all they had was plain biscuits so the guy took it in back, put cheese on it and baked it again real quick and lord have mercy. So. Good. Don't be a dumb dumb and eat it before swimming though like I did.
The a la cart menu doesn't really work for a place like this
Great breakfast, will go back again. Pricey but worth it. Can save by not ordering cocktails.
This is a great French restaurant to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dishes are so unique, delicious and they’re not expensive. I would love to suggest some dishes, but honestly every single item in their menu is exceptional. Enjoy this place and bon apetit!!
Great atmosphere any time of day with friendly and helpful staff. 10/10 would show up at dinner time and order breakfast items again.
Wow, I am truly in love with this place, great staff, amazing food and of course the WINE!
Food is so good. Get the ham, pickle and butter sandwich. Authentic Fench tastes. Bread and pastries are made in house and are excellent. Get anything with caviar, especially the omelet.
The Best!
So this is how the 2 scrambled eggs look like. TWO, the server said that they shrink. And yea BTW they gotta learn how to cook hash browns cuz they are over fried and too greasy
Maybe they had a bad night, but I was very disappointed with my dining experience. Cocktails: good Cheese and rillette plate: great, but the bread served with it was awful which really kills the whole course. Plus a french café should have good bread - it’s pretty much a rule. Mains: my steak was rare, almost bleu and I had ordered it medium rare. Normally, this would be more acceptable but given that it was sliced and served to me, the chef could have easily see the steak wasn’t cooked enough. Dining partner ordered mussels and they were very disappointing. Mussel quality was below expectations, the dish they were served in was a poor choice (no access to the broth below) and the broth tasted like vinegar. The ratings here are great, so perhaps they had an off night, but given the price point ($120 for 2 with tax and tip) I had higher expectations.
Went for brunch. Duck frites (with foie gras added) were god tier. Everything was fantastic. Drinks, service, food. Probably my favorite meal. That kitchen is a true gem.
I try something new every visit and it's always amazing. Lots of interesting a la carte options.
Nice big burger!
Too many enticing menu options for one visit! We are already planning our next breakfast here. Reasonable portions for such rich and flavorful food. A great alternative to over-large plates of bland if not sickening sweet breakfasts. We shared pastries, an omelette, several ala carte items including bottarga toast. Would get it all again except for wanting to try other things. Of course, lunch and dinner look great too!
Tastes like France just like
The food was pretty decent, and plentiful. The gf liked hers and it was her bday so that's great!
Excellent spot for drinks or brunch. Expect a wait, but not too long. You can mix and match for brunch, with a standard selection of eggs, toasts, grits, yogurt, meats and other breakfast staples. They also have less common options like champignons and an array of smoked or pickled fish. There are plenty of vegetarian items, although you should double check on the salads, as these can have anchovies or bacon in the dressings. Nice, dependable spot for great brunch and great service.
Great bottomless coffee! Update All the wait staff are really nice, the food is amazing, but the owner's customer service is not very good. She told me that I was taking up space because I was only drinking coffee and not ordering food. This had never been a problem the previous times I had been there. I felt unwelcomed and left.
Loved the atmosphere. Staff was super super nice. But service was slow and food was just ok. The drinks were delicious. And the brownie dessert was great! Like amazing great. I'd come back for the drinks and dessert next time and skip the sandwich.
I'm "in love" with this cafe...the food is AMAZING..the service is extremely pleasant. And the celery soda is a surprisingly delicious treat.
Great service and cute decor
Great place for breakfast. Not cheap but worth it.
Good Food. Good Service. Very nice menu
Go Thursday for one of the best burgers. The flavor is like no other burger. You will be pleasantly surprised.
It's very fun to go with a small group who is into trying food and sharing small plates. This small Cafe has a huge menu, but it really seems like there are no bad choices. I went in for brunch and loved the poutine! Brisket was also tasty and the selection of perfect golden brown pastries on the counter was impossible to resist. Cinnamon rolls get an A+!
A wonderful little French cafe and bistro, tucked away in Ukrainian Village. In addition to wonderful pastries and coffee, you'll also find traditional items on the menu like sauteed calf brains, steak frites, and omelettes. Worth multiple visits.
This adorable little restaurant is perfect for a date night or dinner with the family or friends. Delicious food, casual and comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful staff. I'll definitely be going back.
MJ is a quaint spot offering a creative selection of French Cafe fare. There menu is seasonally focused that centers around certain staple dishes.
