Started with the Homemade Gnocchi, the Duck confit and ended with the profiteroles. Others in group had the appetizer special, butternut squash soup, salmon and prix fixe pasta. It was a nice meal. Friend said that the skin on the salmon was so crisp and good... that if they made an appetizer of just the salmon skin he’d order it. My duck was well cooked as well. Over all the environment was nice, food was good. But the service struggled a bit. The pasta dish brought out was incorrect and a dessert was incorrect as well. They quickly resolved it and apologized. The chef also came out to check on us as well to ensure the dishes were properly corrected. That was very nice. It was a good meal in a nice relaxed atmosphere!

First time dining here and we will definitely go back. We arrived right when they opened at 5:00PM on Sunday and were seated at a very comfortable booth. French music playing at a pleasant level in the background so everyone at the table could enjoy the lively art of conversation with our visitors from out of town. Everyone enjoyed their dinners of either scallops or steak and of course dessert with great lattes. Very pleasant dining experience!

Went for bottomless mimosa brunch. Mimosas tasted good, food was pretty good, but service was AWFUL. It took her 30 minutes to get even water for us to drink, and an hour before she took our order. She attempted to fill 3 tables worth of mimosas with 1 carafe, which left us all with like 2 sips until our glasses were empty again. The table of 2 next to us had to ask for their check three times, and the table of 6 next to us on the patio complained, and then the hostess was out filling drinks for our server, who still looked lost. It became a joke between our 3 tables about just how bad the service was. We also had to ask for our check twice, and finally took our cards to the hostess to be rung up, since we had other reservations to make, and had been there for 2 hours at that point.

Very customer service-oriented, but wanted to like the food more than we did. Credit for trying to make the effort to deliver high-end plates, but seemed to miss the mark on seasoning most of the dishes we ordered based on our experience that night (went with 2 other friends).

I ate here two years ago for brunch. It is so delicious, I still remember my experience like it was yesterday. It came up on my timeline along with the photos of my food. My friends were in Chicago visiting me while I was there for work. I wanted to do a boozy brunch and this was one of the few restaurants at the time that had what I was looking for. They offered an entree and a bottomless mimosas for a price that I don't remember. My drink was never empty. The service was amazing and the burger...... omg like legit best burger of my life. To this day I still remember that burger. I asked for it rare and they cooked it just the way I like it. The fries were perfection and the creme brulee was on point. My friends and I were in food heaven. If im ever in the city again I will definitely come back.

We came to Bistronomic on a short notice. The lovely hostess Hilary and Lulu were just the sweetest most accommodating women. They made my friends and I feel at home. Our server Ilir was very attentive and took care of us. Highly recommend the mimosas here. Thank you for a great experience. We will surely be coming back.

Tried calling this establishment 6 times on 4/13 @6:30-720pm. Was on hold for 15 minutes until I hung up, following redialing and being hung up on 2 times, and background noise for the remaining 3. All I wanted to know was the corkage fee. This is entirely unimpressive and I have canceled my reservations.

Bistronomic is truly a thoroughly amazing experience. As a local concierge I tend to send a lot of people here for their wonderful weekend brunch on Saturday and Sundays (Yes they have bottomless mimosas) I have never been to dinner here and this past Saturday evening decided to give it a try when my sister mentioned she had a taste for French food. The dining room was perfectly lit and was very cozy. It was a little early 6pm so it was busy but not full although we were able to converse without raising our voices. The entire staff welcomed us warmly from the hostess to the busboys and waiter. We started with mussels which were perfect and i had an amazing, melt in your mouth Filet Mignon and my sis had the deliciously prepared salmon and we finished it by sharing some chocolate combo that included creme brulee. Highly recommended! Excelling at both brunch and dinner!!

The burger was excellent, the Prix fixe is a good deal. Definitely creative, and the outside is nice. Good to people watch. The chef came out and was very nice, but overall the service was lacking. Bottomless mimosa brunch... Yes, I'm a fan! Made a reservation on Saturday morning at 10:30am but probably didn't need it. The place didn't get crowded until about 11 and then by the time we left at noon there was a wait. The weather was also so nice out that we sat on the patio, which is first come first serve. Also, warning, the patio is small, probably seats 6 on one end, 6 on the other, and maybe 8 on high boys. However, the staff is VERY accommodating and figured out a way to get a large party out there without disrupting the foot traffic. One thing that really impressed me here is the service. Everyone was coming by to refill water and mimosas and clear plates and were genuinely very nice. We were also on the struggle bus, so our waiter was so patient with us! Food wise, this is brunch fare kicked up a notch. I had the club which was great, with super yummy bacon, and their fries are to die for. Others in the group were very happy with the pancakes and bacon and Benedict!

Tl;dr - Service was horrible. Mimosas are not bottomless for $19. If you decide to eat here, I suggest establishing a firm stance from the very beginning with servers at this restaurant as they will walk all over your attempts at being civil and cordial. Review - We came here specifically for Bottomless Mimosas. We bought Brunch Entrees. Paid $19 for the Mimosas and yet we were met with resistance for refills at every turn. We realize that this establishment is probably busiest at brunch and were very patient about it. We first asked our server politely. We then asked the bus boy who said he had to ask the server. At one point, our server disappeared for a good 30 minutes and we tried flagging down another server who also disappeared looking for our server. Our server refilled our glasses only once in the hour and 15 minutes we dined here, and even though his pitcher was full, he only filled the glasses halfway. You dont have to fill it obscenely to the brim, but at least fill it 3/4 of the way! I will not be coming back here, and neither will the 4 other women who accompanied me.

Dinner was amazing. We had a party of 7 and were not disappointed. The highlight of the night was the ravioli appetizer and the 10 hour braised beef short rib. Food was excellent and the service exceptional. The chef even came out and greeted each table individually which is something you do not see too often

Legitimate French food like I remember from being in France - perhaps with somewhat larger American portions, but is that really a problem? Service is attentive without being overbearing, and you will not be rushed in the least. The prix fixe menu is a great deal and the wine list is solid with a good variety. Nice decor as well - this is the full package.

Brunch was lovely. My buddy had the chicken and waffles with bacon, I had a Benedict with mushrooms and roast potatoes. The house cocktail is bitter and crisp. Welcome was warm and friendly. Service was excellent. Prices are higher, but the food quality, ambience make it a good value. Very busy, so book on OpenTable before arriving to avoid a wait.

I have been in Chicago a long time and we accidentally found this place. It was a nice surprise. It's cozy and has a lot of character. Great for a date night. Our server knew his stuff and was pro. This place is upscale and actually delivers that experience from start to finish. The creme brulee was awesome!

I am visiting from California, and my husband wanted to go some place nice. This place did not disappoint. The food was excellent. It was so hard to choose what we wanted to eat, but both of our dishes turned out excellent. The service was great, nothing was left to be desired. They also had amazing coffee. If you are in town, you have to try this place at least once.

Bistronomic was outstanding, and the mimosas were flowing. We had the most excellent server Isidro, that truly treated us to a perfect start to our Saturday. When looking for a place to have brunch/enjoy drinks, Bistronimic is where you want to be. The food was absolutely fantastic and the environment is poppin', how do you leave when your 1.5 hours of bottomless mimosas is up?! Overall if I visit Chicago again, you bet I'll be there on the front patio, chugging my body weight in mimosas

My appetizer and dessert were fantastic. The entree tried to come together but never did. We did the restaurant week menu, this was their version of short ribs. It tasted...Oddly put together. The texture was strange, too soft and just...Not palatable. If the service had been good, I would have easily bumped this to a four star review but the service was just as disappointing as the main. Our waiter mostly ignored us and our requests. I was on the verge of just leaving when he finally bothered to pick up the check. Would not return and for the level that this establishment boasts, would not recommend.

We just came back from the most wonderful dinner at Bistronomic. The food is great, service attentive but unobtrusive, and the atmosphere relaxing. I have been eating in Chicago restaurants for a long time now, and this place is a really great find. I will definitely come back.

My expectations may have been a little too high, but I was looking forward to lunch. Instead, the atmosphere was disappointing and the food was not memorable. The service was quite slow despite our servers acting rushed. Some of drink orders required reminders. Some dish titles were a misleading (if chicken is in the title, it should have chicken in the dish). Our group was about a dozen people, so we may have been maxing out the capacity of this place. I would try this Bistronomic again, but I will not go out of my way to do it.
