Decent place in the West Loop that was hit and miss for the four of us. We had most of the small plates for sharing and they were all pretty average in taste - nice, but nothing to write home about. On the other hand, their tacos were amazing. They were on the small size, but very very tasty. It had a very fun vibe, so I'd go again for tacos and drinks.

Erendira Fregoso-Garibay

They have pretty good tacos and service but it's definitely on the pricey side. Tacos come to about $5 each. Anyways we've been there a few times because we really like the tacos but during our last visit when we got our receipt we noticed they apparently charge for ice...? We got tequila on the rocks and the "rocks" were like $2... Who charges for ice!?? Seems like a very petty thing to do to your customers.

chris chan

Service was slow Beef tacos were good. Coconut shrimp taco was average. Pork belly taco was good.

Triva

Tacos are different and delicious! I didn't feel the drink and guacamole were not anything out of the ordinary. I would consider returning in the future.

Elizabeth Christenson

Great quac, Margaritas and tacos. Unique decor. Good service.

Alexandra Porras

Good, great service

Alex G

Good margaritas, VERY good tacos, especially the vegetarian ones, which are that much harder to pull off! Good setting and staff too...

Kelsey Cano

We were really excited to try the menu. We were greeted by a bus boy with waters and to tell us their new drink menu had debuted. Lots of servers hanging out by the kitchen and host stand, we couldn’t even flag someone down. 20 minutes and no service, we left.

M C

The food is a 4 but the service was a terror! If you want to see what it looks like for a server to think they’re too good to serve others and work then this is the perfect place to come. Asked for queso and the server rolled her eyes at me then said they don’t have that, when the menu had queso sauce as a dishes ingredient clearly printed. My friend asked for a hot sauce and got another eye roll. Finally got the queso after three times of asking and pointing it out on the menu. The tacos are okay but the menu has lots of rules which is odd, you should be able to have what you ask for if you’re willing to pay. Margaritas were good but very expensive and alot of ice!

Brenda Magaña

Atmosphere is great, food is very appealing but a bit over priced for the amount of food and the size of the drinks.

Arletha Smith

The food was good just hated the portions. If you want to serve really small tacos at least give me three so I can get my money's worth th. Just saying.

I had a great experience with Bar Takito. I went there as part of my Bachelorette weekend with several of my friends. While I was there, there were some extremely rude guests at the table next to us. Not to go into details, but I have to say that the staff handled everything extremely well. They were quick to take action, and were so professional with everything. I was extremely impressed with how they handled it. We also had amazing food and service. Alejandro was our waiter, and he provided us with amazing food recommendations. I would definitely go back here again. They have great food, great outdoor area, awesome atmosphere, AMAZING staff, and they work extremely hard at making sure you enjoy your experience. Also...margaritas...so good! I would suggest the pineapple verde marg!

Bill Finch

Food was ok. A little expensive for what you get. Service was poor. We had 4 orders of tacos and 2 salads and they did not come close to coming out at the same time. Would not return.

Stew P

Spur of the moment decision to go here, and so glad we did!! Grilled Octopus (not pictured) was great. We had the Steak and Pork tacos, and potatoes. It was incredible, and of course the ambiance was perfect too. Highly recommend this spot!

Tyler Lowmiller

Everything about this place is top notch. Incredible food, drinks, and atmosphere what else do u need

Caroline Wilhelm

Good food and cocktails. Prices are a bit steep but to be expected in the neighborhood.

Stephanie Mazzanti

Some of the best fish tacos, delicious drinks, cute atmosphere!

Brian Gardner

Food and drinks on the patio was awesome

jessica hernjandez

very good margaritas , fast service if your grabbing a lunch bite l. deliciousness!!

Frieden Liebe

I love the quiet, business casual err of this place. The ambiance is comfortable, the food is amazing, and the staff is always friendly and professional.

Aleks Frayman

Friendly service, their "Luquid Lunch" option is a pretty good deal. Shame that you cant try two different tacos to experience different flavors. Tacos are smaller than what you may expect but they also serve tortilla chips and salsa so its filling overall. Lunch took about an hour though few tables were seated. Also ask for the available flavors of margaritas they make. Seems like all flavors are available for the liquid lunch but its not directly advertised

Neena O

Love how the entire menu is gluten free. I had the braised brisket tacos which were amazing. The tortillas definitely make their tacos. And for a coffee lover, the coffee flan is something I could eat everyday.

bernice fountain

This is my second time visiting this establishment. I’ve never had an issue and I do enjoy the food. But on my visit yesterday I was a little disappointed. I usually come for the brunch special. Being that it is Cinco De Mayo I would think there would be some type of special but $25 for a large margarita that’s in a regular plastic party cup is a bit ridiculous( the waitress said this was because it was Cinco De Mayo. At least have it in a actual large glass or bowl). Other than that I always have a nice time. But an extremely over priced margarita in a plastic party cup is not cool.

Epistrophe Monk

Live jazz, drinks with Bee Pollen and Honey...so many kinds of metal and tacos to boot. Strongly recommend. Note the kitchen closes a bit before the bar (and the space) so plan accordingly. If you're still hungry after, there are other taco places around to meet your peckish needs.

Alison Yuhas

Was here on a random weeknight, and while it was a bit crowded, we did get a table relatively quickly! We shared the elotes (which were AMAZING) and a few tacos each (the octopus taco was by fave my favorite - even though I know it sounds super weird!), but the house white wine wasn't amazing. We could hear each other and didn't have to yell over music, and it's crazy close to the green line, so that made travel super easy!

Tony Zamudio

4 small tacos delightful, 2 tequila drinks delicious, guac + chips = $63. A little pricey but it's in a great location near the EL stop and the Google office. Would give 5 stars with better pricing :)

Antonia Asimis

Food is delicious. Went for taco Tuesdays, ordered an assortment of tacos, all were very tasty, my favorite was the chicken. Really enjoyed the octopus starter and the guacamole with sundried tomatoes and pineapple, yummy. service is sweet and attentive and the ambiance is eclectic and inviting.

Michael Trilus

Best happy hour margaritas around!

Efrain Perez

Went on a recommendation front my brother, and what a treat. Great tacos with lots of flavor and awsome service. If I didn't live so far ,this would be a regular spot. Jerry, and Rich are the best. Great experience.

Shawn Rana

Very expensive. Tiny portion sizes. Stale tortilla chips. While the skirt steak tacos were pretty tasty, 8 bucks for three bites of taco is kind of ridiculous. In one of the best restaurant districts in Chicago, you can do better.

Keith Harrison

The food was amazing! My family shared several plates, and every one was excellent. We'll definitely return!

312 Gina

Light pours, and not filled to the top of the glass

Chandu Rao

Love the Paloma here. Great location and ambience!

Tia Foster

We had date night at Bar Takito prior to a concert at The United Center. We enjoyed everything!! Veggie tacos were delicious! The Esquites were my FAV!!! I could have eaten the whole bowl in my own! We didn’t get to stay long so this means we are going back!!

Daniel M

Really good tacos and margaritas. Decor is somewhat interesting. Too many TV's though.

Mike Konkoleski

The drinks and appetizers were good - I would recommend the esquites, as the corn was roasted to perfection. However, the tacos left something to be desired - the taste was not there, and some of the meat tasted like it was frozen or out of a can (inparticular, the ropa vieja and pollo al pastor). Go to La Josie down the street if you want authentic tacos.

Jason Pang Jao

Mediocre food. I got the arepas and the bread just sort of crumbles and doesn’t have the chewy characteristics I’m expecting. Poor service. The wait staff was nowhere to be found in the main dining area.

Morgan Manning

Absolutely not the place for big groups. It took over an hour to figure out the bill. They said it was “just the way their system is”. It’s too bad something so small had to ruin the entire dinner. And at the very end the server came over and demanded a larger tip after all the petty back and forth.

Steve Valcy

Diana wad an excellent server. It happened to be her on call shift which made us feel lucky to have her. Just like the other location in wicker park, good food, good drinks, and good people.

Melanie Upchurch

Get the grapefruit infused rose marg. Worth the trip! Thanks for the recommendation!

Missy McMahon

Good menu but very limited happy hour options. The beer bucket is not worthwhile

Brook Hess

This is a local hangout for my husband and I when we are looking for a great arepas, tacos, and margaritas. Super great that everything is gluten free and can be made vegan if need be! This place is definitely a good spot for a date or girls night out. Try the Spicy Cucumber Margarita OR if your looking for something less sweet but spicy try the Watermelon Margarita without the agave and have them make it spicy.

K A

Very loud and very overpriced. 3 dollars for a can of coke. 10 dollars for a little side salad. 13-16 dollars for 3 tiny tacos ( about the equivalent of one taco bell taco) Flavor so so. Was there for a work get together, or else would not have gone there. Also, if you are in a group, they don't let you pay with your card, so make sure you have cash on you.

Brent Riley

Too expensive for what you get. Tacos are tasty.

Family Chicago

It’s just okay, kinda expensive, not really Mexican food

Jason Weber

Cool atmosphere, fun variations of margaritas that are very delicious and unique made with fresh ingredients. Bar tender was friendly and efficient!

Lance Lin

They had decent music playing throughout the entire night which was cool. The appetizers were amazing and the overall taste of our food was actually very enjoyable. I wish i had an option to give some additional stars Fantastic service and food to die for. A great dining experience here. Highly recommended.

Gretchen Arroyo

Portions were on the small side, but very creative. The tequila flights were well priced and the service and atmosphere were excellent.

Ram Mohan Pandian

The ambience and drinks are so good. You have an option to sit outdoor or indoor. Both are really good. The caterers are really polite and friendly. Pretty good place to hangout after work.

chad svastisalee

Lively, laid back and convenient spot in the West Loop. Outstanding taste profiles and carefully selected ingredients make even the simplest "Mexican street tacos" a highly flavorful experience. Details in the menu, drinks and desserts. Enjoyed the Micheladas, make sure you ask for a few sprinkles of Tajin. Ordered a trio of chicken tacos and grilled chicken salad to go. Enough food for two with room to spare. Going to try the flan and ceviche next trip.

Jovana Stewart

Been here a 1-2 times in the past and it was good. Decided to come back this week because I was in the area. Much to my surprise, had an even better experience than before. Seems the staff is newer, including upper management. Good service, very attentive. Spoke with a gentlemen named Wes, who stated he is the General Manager. He was pleasant and accommodating. The lunch special is on point. Took a peek at the happy hour menu as well, and I am eager to come back. Definitely worth going to for delicious Mexican/Latin flavors.

Oscar Ortiz

Great food and drinks but on Sunday they did last call at 7:30pm. Service was great but felt a little rushed out because of the time in the Sunday.

Sayo Taiwo

Three words. Goat. Cheese. Tacos. Yum. Sorry that's four. Only reason for four stars is the price: a little much. But I still keep coming back so can't be THAT bad right?

Jason Lopez

I decided to try this place after work with some coworkers. They were very kind in getting us a table for 8 as a walk in. The waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently. The decor of the place was interesting and unique. The food was ok. We ordered chicken tacos, fish tacos, chips and dip, French fries, and 3 desserts. The tacos were good but a bit pricey. The chips were average. The French fries was a bit insulting as it was a portion of a potato and such a high price. The dessert was in a tiny shot glass that was flan with caramel. It tasted exactly how it sounds but a bit sweeter. I would say go here and give this place a try for fun.

Stormy Kick

Service was good, but their vegetarian menu was severely lacking. Taco sizes are miniscule. Others at our table got brunch menu items that were decent size, but my two tacos and beans totaled about 17 bites of food that wasn't even very good. Do not order tacos if you want your money's worth.

Corina Turriff

Margaritas and fish tacos....can't get much better than that! Margaritas went down very smooth and were quiet delicious. Fish tacos were fresh and light, I have had better but you still can't go wrong with these. Service was a tad slow but I am cutting them slack because it appeared they were training some wait staff.

Jamie Gomoll

My friends purse got stolen here. Of course that is not the direct fault of the restaurant but the way they treat the situation is in their control. The manager was horribly mean about it. He blamed her and was so unhelpful. What monster is mean to someone that just got everything stolen? The manger of Bar Takito, that’s who.

Mina N

My experience here was nothing short of amazing. We ordered the chicken al pastor and ropa vieja tacos and both were delicious. The margaritas are simple delicious. I ordered the cucumber margarita and I loved it. Mario, the owner came to greet us at our table. He is the sweetest person ever! Would highly recommend this place!!

Genevieve Mazzeo

Good appetizers, yummy tacos, and well made margaritas...what more can you ask for from a taco joint!? Only flaw here is the music is usually really loud. It was hard to hear the conversation at our table of three!

Yousser Slimane

Amazing food, tasty, zesty, spicy exactly the way I wanted. I totally recommend this place.

LaToya Jackson

Delicious food!

Frank Davis

It's not the place to go to if really hungry.. the food is very tasty might I add, but small portions.. I like the vibe of the place and tacos are really good

John Lazarz

Nice cocktails and good food! Chorizo wasn't too great though.

Kim Rasmussen

Great and the menu is gluten free!

Bryan Bazley

Great tacos and margaritas. Wonderful patio with sun and shade depending on your mood

Janelle McGhee

Restaurant week menu had great choices! Our server Valerie was very knowledgeable, friendly, & helpful with food & drink choices. Great experience!

Miki Deen

Came here for a girl’s night and really enjoyed myself. The tacos were really good and I loved the trio of guacamole; I especially loved the plantain chips. Friendly and attentive staff and reasonable pricing. Great happy hour menu as well.

L Harris

Great appetizers and drinks; visiting family in Chicago

Bob Evans

Phenomenal tacos, margaritas are good too. Full range of standard Mexican beer. Gets really busy during normal peak times so service can be a little show, but otherwise a great place with a really fun atmosphere.

Tyler Gross

Fantastic good with a chill environment. I always get the vegetarian option, the corn and cheese area, and I've never been let down. This spot is perfect for winter because it's literally a 3 second walk from the Morgan Pink Line stop.

Michael McCullum

Very limited menu small portions slightly over priced. Server was nice.

Scott Chastain

Food was ok. Drinks were good but pricy.

Mona Patel

Normally love this place for liquid lunch but for my birthday service took wayy too long and they ran out of beans. Had to ask multiple times for more chips and the check. One person's meal came out 20 minutes after the tacos.

Andres Orellana

Good food and great service

Bruce Wayne

A new find for me. My girlfriend and I came for happy hour after checking out the Wnder Museum. Our waitress/hostess was very attentive and the decor was in good taste. This place is pretty unique. The margaritas are superb. It’s not a place to fill you up from what I could tell, but it’s perfect to meet with friends before going out. Also the menu is completely GLUTEN FREE. My girlfriend gets super hives with even a little cross contamination, so this made Takito even better.

Nate Rock

Great tacos! The steak one had bacon and barbecue sauce which tastes more like a burger. However their Octopus and Chorizo taco was a refreshing change and super tender.

Lauren Degraaf

Good but horrendously overpriced

Genevieve Hebeka

Good food and atmosphere. Small menu, unusual picks. Service a little slow but the friendly staff and outdoor seating made up for that.

Tyler Walbridge

Bad management is the only explanation for the service. Universally bad. Waited 10min to be spoke to after being sat. Waited 15 min at bar and was never spoke to and the bartender had 3 people at the bar. Food not bad not great.

A L

I liked the drinks here but was a little underwhelmed by the tacos. While some tacos did taste good the lobster taco had me feeling a little disappointed because of its price.

Timmy 485

Great tacos and service. Some outdoor seating. Recently added this place to my happy hour rotation.

Andrea Fee

Tasty food but way overpriced

Mike

Awesome place to eat out and great drinks!

Lowell Shepard

The lunch special is a great deal. Recommend the classic margarita and pork belly tacos!

Crystal Dickinson

Loved the wildly innovative margarita and guacamole combos. There was live music there the day I went and staff was helpful and friendly. I will be back!

Stephen Suydam

Great gluten free choices and vegetarian tacos. I think this is my favorite place in the West loop.

Giulio Battagion

Don't go there if you are hungry, very small portions

Alexis Kurz

$10 bottomless mimosas and good eats! Brunch!

isabel lopez

Their margaritas specials and two tacos were decent. Hit the spot.

Tara Liceaga

The Peruvian margarita with house made aji amarillo puré is amazing!

Bill Muller

Happy hour with my honey at Bar Takito was great! The margaritas were wonderful, especially the Peruvian, with its balance of spice pepper heat and fruit. The salsa and guacamole special set us up perfectly for the right-sized tacos. Exactly what we were looking for on a chilly weeknight!

Eva Shonuga

I went on a Monday when I was off of work around 2 or 3. There was NO crowd. Tacos were good. Drinks were tasty. Reasonably priced.

Ludo Van Raemdonck

Really special guacamole. Very good.

Michael Geiger

Good food and drinks but a little pricey for the portion sizes.

Lisa Jordan

The decor is colorful, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is quite good. I will definitely be back.

Katie Steeb

Very small portions, so do not come here hungry. Otherwise the taste and flavors were amazing. I came with a laege group and shares the ceviche trio with plantain chips which were fresh and delicious as were the guacamole and tortilla chips. I had the "liquid lunch" and loved the chicken and skirt steak (my favorite) tacos and refreshing cucumber margarita. The lunch special also included a shot glass worth of black beans. Loved the food, will be hungry soon.

Brittany Friedrich

I have been here 3 times now and I love it. The brunch is amazing, I had some breakfast tacos and mimosas. For dinner I had some steak tacos. It is expensive, but it is west loop so you can expect that.

Amit Sharma

Went here for a 2 year olds birthday party. The inappropriateness of this venue for that event aside, the planning by the bar could have been better. If you have a limited selection drink menu and open bar, maybe pre make the drinks so you can pour out of a carafe instead of making people wait for over 30 minutes at the bar. If it was a different event, I suppose it might have been an okay location. Also, the table area on the platform near the windows. OMG. That iron foot rest in front of the platform has got to go! Not only kids but many adults tripped on that thing.

David Schwartz

A good casual bar and Mexican snack place. Perfect for the West loop. Casual and friendly with a good Mexican bar

Karla Paxton

Fun place. Great original and unique tacos and small plates! Fun drinks! Not a big wine selection.

Kristen Portland

Even though they took away the margarita flights, I still love Bar Takito. Their mezcal selection is amazing (check out the mezcal flights if you're a big fan), and all their drinks are delicious. I think they made the best Paloma I've ever had. The food is no joke, either. Quality tacos, ceviche, and arepas. I was on the patio, and the service was a little slow, but otherwise it was an awesome experience.

Kristina Elkhazin

Sat on the patio and nice ambience. Margaritas and corn dish were great!

Cole Biri

Really disappointed by the value. The guac and chips were ~$10 and included ~8 chips and guac that lined the bowl vs consisted of any depth. No part of that appetizer was worth $10. The tacos were good but again, miniature size yet priced like a full taco. You can get margaritas anywhere else for a better price as well. If I'm going to pay a premium price, something has to make it worth it and I'm not sure what that was here. I won't be coming back.

Joe N

liked the tacos tasty new flavors to me

Mahima Srivastava

Came here for some drinks in the evening. Loved their special house margarita which was mix of passion fruit and pineapple. Ordered some banana chips with it which were freshly made. Must try!

Larry Byrne

Great food and drinks

Madison Ledesma

Delicious food, amazing margaritas, and very friendly staff!

Vartika Vats

Good food and cocktails !! Mango margaritas

Sarah Fatima Adams

Stopped by for a little drink. And I’ll say the happy hour steak taco is

Lakulish Patel

The drinks were really good, get their tequila drinks they are solid. Tacos were delicious and perfect portion size.

Hector Barradas

Good tacos and people extraordinary

Umakant Sista

Great place for a casual dinner. Don't miss out on their Taco Tuesdays! The Tacos are great and I especially liked their cheese taco which is delicious! All their guacamole dip variants are amazingly tasty and worth trying with their chips!

Sakthi Praveenkumar Kandasami

I was here to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Food and drinks were great. I loved their ambiance also. Good service. They got free birthday margaritas with ID proof :) I would definitely go back again.

Clark Nelson

Service was a bit slow but the best cooked octopus I've ever had. Expensive also so be prepared to spend 30+ including a drink. Tacos are two for ten dollars, but very delicious food all around.

Michael Aaron Saunders

Great Spot for Taco Tuesday!! Wonderful ambiance!

Katherine DeVries

My family visited this restaurant tonight for my moms 60th bday. We had a full day downtown in the heat and had just seen Hamilton and we weren’t looking for anything too fancy. This place was perfect! I was able to get a reservation for 8 plus a high chair. When we got there we sat at a higher table with stools, but my niece wasn’t able to reach the top of the table in her high chair. I asked if they could move us to a shorter table and they did! I very much appreciated them accommodating us. I would have loved to give them 5 stars but I just wasn’t much impressed with the portion sizes for shared plates. The octopus was perfect for our group size, but the ceviche trio (way overpriced for what you get), guac & Chips and rice did not stretch very far. All in all, it’s a great place with great food and definitely worth checking out!

Beckett Costello

Cool atmosphere and nice staff

Arelys G.

Love Bar Takito ! The octopus a la plancha Is my favorite dish! The drinks are great as well. Highly recommended :)

Martin Mullen

The vibe is very hip, but the music was way to loud for dinner coversation. It had more of a dance nightclub feel than a place to have dinner. The waiter was quick but provided no opportunity to explain the menu or answer questions. Our order was mixed up, and although an attempt was made to correct it they never got it right. The shared plates are so small- don't know how you could even share. In the end we werent charged for our appetizers- that was nice.

K Kimble

Tasty tacos but slower service

Kyle Dahl

Overall: A perfect spot for a happy hour featuring margaritas and delicious tacos. The good: Arguably some of the best tacos I’ve had in awhile, and beats overhyped places like Big and Little’s. The crispy fish and coconut shrimp, both on blue corn tortillas, were amazing in their own way. The fish had a tangy and unique sauce paired with it, and the shrimp was paired with a tasty dollops of a honey sauce. Additionally, the esquites were amazing! The corn was roasted well without being overcooked, and it was a great balance between the cheeses and sauces, so nothing was runny. And, I can’t go without saying how great the margs were. Refreshing, strong, and delicious. The not-so-good: While great, the tacos are a bit pricey. $9-12 (depending on which you get) for 2 tacos, which are on the small side, is a bit much. Also, we were sitting outside, and the train can be a bother (not that that’s something they can change). And, the entire inside smelled like cleaning solution, and it crept outside at times as well. Food/Drink: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8/10

Carrie M

Food was amazing and Staff were super friendly. Will definitely return

April Masters

I love you cucumber margarita!!

Gantsetseg Oyunbaatar

Cute place! Food is delicious even small portions. Definitely come back!

Peter Sargent

I love the west loop, and this place is no exception. I split the paella with my wife, and it was fantastic. The margaritas were also delicious. It was quite loud however, difficult to carry out a conversation. The food and drinks were a bit pricy, but on par with downtown.

Miguel d'Escoto

Service seemed to be overwhelmed at lunch. Food was good but not outstanding. Margaritas were varied and pretty good.

Fernanda Montes

Food is delicious!!

sgm lopez

I LOVED this place! I suggested it to my husband and sister-in-law and they were skeptical. I saw this place on a "driveby" to the Ventra office. I told my husband we should try it. He reluctantly said yes and made reservations for mine and my sister-in-law's birthday! Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised at how YUMMY the food was! My picky eater of a daughter ate everything we picked! Mack, our server was AWESOME!!! He requested to prepare a non-alcoholic drink for my daughter (she's 9) and she totally appreciated it! We had a great time and the food was fantastic! This is a must visit. It's not romantic, it's fun and very social!

Sukhbir Grewal

Made a reservation on opentable but had to wait an hour as they didn’t have our table ready. We were initially upset but the owner came over and offered his sincere apologies and explained that tables just weren’t cleaing. He offered us cocktails and an appetizer on the house. Ownership truly understands hospitality. The food was great and we really enjoyed the live music. Will definitely be returning !

Dave Koob

Liquid Lunch, tacos, marg, chips and salsa, the best lunch in the West Loop!

Nilay Sheth

Serving sizes were small but the food was good. There weren't many vegan options. The service is very good.

Will Manzo

Came here on a Saturday night so there was a wait but it wasn't too long. A good atmosphere combined with the excellent food made for a great night. Everything on the menu is good, I would recommend starting with the steak tacos.

Taylor Howard

Nice interior. Food gave us food poisoning. Would not recommend.

Marisha Humphries

Great cocktails

George Parker

The Salsa is great. The drinks are great. The service is great. The tacos are just ok. But the octopus I had was straight fire. I will definitely be returning

Andrea B

Great food great atmosphere but, we felt like $13 for 3 tiny/mini tacos (takitos) is just to $$. They don't fill you up they are more like Spanish Tapas size so, if you are hungry, order something besides the "takitos". Also, if you go in a large group, as we did, they don't split checks - just FYI.

Eric Harold

Went here for brunch Sunday afternoon. Staff was very friendly. Guacamole was the best I've had. The place was empty which is not a great vibe. The brunch menu was pretty bold and nontraditional. Two of us ordered the Blue Crab Avocado Toast. I had mine vegetarian with Brussels sprouts per the server's recommendation. It was not appetizing and the toast was very mushy. I tried the crab and it was not fresh.

Adam Prine

Overpriced tacos, overpriced "ok" drinks, slow service. ...West loop... If you're looking for yuppy tacos and not hearing what your friend is saying when the L train goes by, go here

Daniel Malia

Great West Loop upscale Mexican fare, but the portions are a bit small compared to the price...

Rebeca Ovalle

Good drinks but a little pricey

Victor Bernstein

Wonderful food - - small portions - terrific music on Thursdays with Sonic octopus. Try not to miss it. No cover charge either.

Jennifer Macias

The food was great; the service was poor. Reservation for nine people. There are only 8 place settings. I asked if the table would be enough space for 9 people and plates and cups and things? The hostess asked, “Well, are your friends all large people?” WHAT kind of response is that? For one thing, yes, three of them are. Thank you for fat-shaming my friends. Another friend ordered soda water and it took 20 minutes to receive it. The staff wasn’t terribly attentive or hospitable.

Tam Ngo

Came here during a weekday happy hour, which actually was from 3:30-6PM, not 5:30. And as long as you order before 6PM, you'd have the happy hour price. I ordered the steak taco which was quite good. I liked the purple potato chip that was topped off. I probably would have purchased those chips just as an appetizer if there was the option to. The restaurant was very modern and great for groups since they had large tables and were able to take multiple credit cards - though they weren't able to split checks which I always prefer. Service was great, water was always refilled, and the taking of orders was prompt. I'm only giving this 3 stars because while the food and service was good, I don't think I'd come back on my own. The pricing of the tacos, even during happy hour were $3 for a 2 bite taco. Not the most budget friendly establishment but I can see people coming here for good drinks and food if they don't mind the cost much.

Melissa Sanchez

Eclectic bar with Latin American food ... delicious! I loved every single bite they had to offer. Their cucumber margarita was really, really tasty -- you can really savor that cucumber taste, not at all watered down. Beautiful dessert - it was hazelnut flavored pudding with edible flowers on top. Just to die for! Easy transportation to get there...the El train is right next door!

Andy Creighton

Full disclosure, I didn't eat here, just grabbed a drink. Small tap list, but decent bottle options. Chips and guac the neighbors ordered was quite small, no idea on price. Layout is a bit odd, making getting to the bar unintuitive, but not bad. Overall is was pretty meh..

Amanda Mazzola

Stopped in for a drink and to duck out of the rain. Was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, great music and general abmiance. Good for a date or just drinking with your pals. TV's behind the bar ensure you won't miss the score when your our with the girls!

Steven Long

Overpriced, good flavor to the food but tiny portions

Andrea Williams

The tacos were great
