Fantastic service and atmosphere - the lights are unique and create a warm cozy atmosphere. Grilled shrimp & artichoke appetizer was delicious. Gnocchi pasta was clearly made from scratch. Red sangria was tasty as well. I will go back the next time I am in town.

Right when you walk in, you are greeted by friendly faces. The service was great. My particular sever took his time explaining different meals and ingredients and the way the complemented other items on the menu. The pasta was great and the pizza looked delicious. Some items are a little pricey and the menu itself is a little lack luster. All in all, good first time and would go back again.

Came here on a date night on a whim without a reservation and even though the restaurant was booked the manager went out of his way and found us a table. The cocktails and food were out of this world. We highly recommend the Gnocchi which had prosciutto sausage and rapini which eat bite was better than the last. Great spot to go out on a date or with friends! Would recommend reservation on nights or weekends. Parking is street only but CTA Green Line is right down the street.

Bar Siena is something I've had on my list for 2 years. And I'm pleased to announce, it was worth the trip! Service was great! My water was always filled. My wife and I had great cocktails (#7 and white sangria). But what you're really here for ... The food. Was. Epic. Too many times in the age of Instagram, restaurants makes food that are visually great, but lack any true flavor or depth. That is not the case at Bar Siena. The veggie pie was a great coal fire pizza. The burger? A top 3 that I've ever had in my life. And dessert...it tastes exponentially better than it looks, which is impressive! I can easily say Bar Siena is one of the best experiences I've had in Chicago. Worth every penny.

Fantastic Food really great selection and we'll presented / cooked / quality. Best of all Katheryn was our waitress and her service was outstanding. We gave management a heads up. She made our evening meal great before we went to the Blackhawks. Highly recommend.

Fantastic food, portions are huge! Try the "Mac & Duck" it is one of my absolute favorites. They have valet parking, but there are plenty of parking lots within 3-5 min. Walk. I'm handicap and it was so easy to get to it. Enjoy, great atmosphere!!!!!

One of my favorite places to eat in Chicago. The sangria is amazing and I always end up ordering a pitcher. The mussels are a tasty appetizer. Everything is made fresh to order including the pasta. Lobster Tagliatelli is my entree of choice and the service is excellent. Needless to say, because the food is so good,t he interior is beautifully decorated. Perfect spot for a date night!

I’ve been here twice, once for dinner and once late on a Friday night for drinks. The food is good (had the short rib lasagna), and I didn’t have any complaints about the service for either visit. I would recommend Bar Siena as an easy week night go-to or a casual Friday/Saturday dinner when you forgot to make dinner reservations. It’s casual so no need to dress up!

Had a great lunch here with a couple friends during Restaurant Week. The grilled octupus was cooked well and tasty, though the shishito peppers didn't add much to the dish. The sweet corn ravioli was really innovative and filling - definitely the stand out of the meal. Servers were also attentive and friendly.

This place! Holy smokes. First of all it's in the WEST LOOP! What's now to love about the west loop. This is where the Restauneers have to bring their A-game or they'll be done in no time. Location is great! The design of the bar is well laid out! They have consistent great-excellent service. You can tell they train their staff. The desert bar with the place that is next (built in) to them is awesome! Warm sugary donuts with 4+ flavors to choose from. Not to mention they have a fantastic food menu. The Meat balls! Full on Espresso bar post dinner. Just go and you can thank me later!

Small plates restaurant with good service and a great atmosphere. Little overpriced for what you're getting but the food itself was all pretty good. Overall, a pretty solid spot in West Loop. Octopus was really tender and perfectly cooked; and the shishito peppers were a nice balance. The duck mac n' cheese was rich and creamy, but a little salty. Sweet corn ravioli was unique but glad we ordered it. It's definitely on the sweeter side (particularly for an entree) but overall, a fun dish to share. We were Visiting from St Louis and wanted to try the girl and the goat, but they were closed for construction so we decided to try bar Siena which was conveniently right across the street. Our server Ian was very knowledgeable and an all around great server. The food was just what we were looking for. The octopus was cooked to perfection, everything was well seasoned and out of the 10 dishes our table had everyone loved every single thing. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. I wish I could take this place back with us to St. Louis.

Excellent vibe and trendy atmosphere. Can get crowded at times but well worth the wait. Drinks are nicely crafted and bar tender makes the rounds to check on you. They have a second level for seating and there's an outside patio area for a nice evening. Once you're done with dinner be sure to hit the dessert as you won't be disappointed. Overall a great place to stop and experience.

Great food, great service, good drinks. It’s my second time visiting this place and both experience have been great. We had a chance to experience variety of dishes from pasta to lamb chop. Their menu offers a pretty good range to have something for everyone without overwhelming. Service was great! While the place is packed, we got the front table pretty quickly and servers were very attentive despite the crazy busy hours. I loved my gnocchi and lamb chop the best! I will say the Pinot noir was pretty weak from both taste and amount... I know it’s a bar, but think we could use a better bottle when you have amazing Italian dishes!

It's Chicago so I shouldn't have been shocked, but the alcohol was very expensive (~$16 per cocktail). Neither I nor my friend were very impressed with our entrees (duck mac&cheese and short rib lasagna) which were excessively heavy and didn't have interesting flavors. Ambiance was good, a little too noisy near the bar even on a Tuesday. Upstairs might have been better. Waitress was pretty good but left us waiting a long time for the check.

Great place for a business dinner the service was outstanding from the bartender Who helped us in the beginning to the waiter who serviced us dinner.The lasagna was amazing however I couldn’t finish it it was too much. The octopus and meatballs we had as appetizers We’re delicious. Sidenote those are separate items not serve together, just for clarity. I will say that I had entree envy as I should’ve ordered the lamb chops as those were the show stealer of our table.

I came here for my birthday. Everything looked super promising and the service was great. Unfortunately the food was bland and extremely under seasoned (I didn’t even finish my duck mac and cheese and I love mac and cheese), the pizza was thin and tasteless, the drinks were extremely weak for $15, and their idea of a birthday celebration was bringing out a sad scoop of vanilla ice cream with a candle in it. I don’t recommend coming here if you want to enjoy your meal, and especially not for a birthday celebration.

Try the prosciutto & fig pizza and the gnocchi! The food is unique and tasty, but portions can be small and be a bit pricey. The prosciutto fig pizza has a good balance of sweet and savory. It was mostly savory with large amounts of prosciutto which is good for an entree. Sprinkled through are fresh figs to add a bite of something sweet. The gnocchi is chewy and tasty, a great italian dish. I was not super impressed with the short rib lasagna. It was a little too heavy, the short rib felt a bit dry and a small portion. Overall a good italian place, great for a date night! Will come back again. You'll need reservations and try to get a table upstairs!

Excellent dishes! Each dish came out piping hot and delicious. The braised beef lasagna was amazing! Attentive service. Ambience was inviting, contemporary and fun! We had a 5:30pm reservation, so free street parking was easy to find.

Came out to Bar Siena for some short rib and donuts with the gang. I had a hard time deciding if the meal or tap water was better. The food is to die for, drinks are on point too. Our host who seated us seemed a little dismissive though but it may have just been a miscommunication. Service was okay, we were the only ones seated outside so we weren't as tended to but we weren't forgotten about. My only real complaint is that the outside speaker was turned on very loudly like halfway through our meal and it made it a bit of a challenge to continue our conversation. I would 1000% go back though, especially for that duck mac & cheese and the chicken wings.

Bar Siena is great. The atmosphere and is laid back with a welcome interior. Service has always been good here as well. They have a number of antipasti dishes on the menu which are good for sharing. Otherwise, there are also several entrees for those who don't want to share. My personal favorite is the meatball calzone. The grilled chicken sandwich and bomboburger are also great.

I really enjoyed my experience at Bar Siena. We got the Octopus appetizer and the focaccia bread. Both were delicious and the taste was unique. I ordered the short rib lasagna. I enjoyed it since I’m a fan of garlic. My other friends ordered it and said it would be better with some other sauce. My other friend ordered the Tomahawk lamb chops and gave it 9/10. I recommend this place when you’re in Chicago.

Although slightly pricey, the food is delicious and the drinks were great as well. Highly recommend the NY strip steak. Great flavor. Gnocchi was also great. We went on a Friday evening and the music was spot on. Casual to dressy attire. It was a mix of patrons in terms of age but would definitely recommend for a crowd in their 30s to 40s. Tab for 2 (2 appetizers, 4 drinks and main course with no dessert) was about 180 before tip.

We came just for drinks. The wait wasn't long at all. It seems to get pretty packed, but we were about to secure a seat at the bar. The atmosphere is lively and good for a group of friends. The bartender was very attentive and knowledgeable about the drinks. The drinks were pretty good, too. There's a dessert place next door that I wanted to try, but the line was so long.

Brilliant Future

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! Their food is AMAZING! Everything is made from scratch! The service is prompt, it is priced fairly with a great atmosphere and a great draft beer selection. We meet many times with partners and associates. A reservation is recommended but not needed. A must go!

Portions too small and underseasoned for what is typical in Italian food. Had the meatball sub and lasagna. Sub was tasty but tiny. The lasagna was dreadful with no flavor. I've been to Italy before, so I don't think the problem is that it's too authentic for American tastes. I expected more since I thought it was owned by a Top Chef whose season I watched and enjoyed. Has a crazy good location for the food quality.

I've been meaning to try this place out for quite a while. We sat in the bar area at around 1. The waiter was kind of slow. The busser was very attentive, filling up water and grabbing plates. We ordered the caesar salad, grilled octopus, and duck mac n cheese to share. I thought the salad was ok, but a little boring and overdressed. The grilled octopus was my favorite thing, great char with a little spiciness. My fiancee didn't like the mac. I thought it was pretty good. She isn't the biggest fan of duck though. I'd go back, but it's not the first place on my list.

Atmosphere is fantastic, the food was so good I ate until I thought I was going to bust. The service was also very good. Our server gave us some food suggestions because we had never been and she did not lead us astray. I suggest the gnocchi, the risotto, and the duck mac and cheese. Delicious!

IAN! Thanks for being so amazing! We were seated at 6, but were told that at 7 we'd be kicked out of the table due to reservations. Ian had great drink and dinner recommendations. Food and drinks were so amazing! At the end of the meal he should us the dessert menu, but we were nearing the kick out time. Ian assured us we had time for dessert so we ordered and boy was it amazing. We started off on a bad foot knowing we were on a time crunch and had to rush our meal, but Ian really helped us enjoy our time. The whole eat/drink on a time crunch sucked, but we had a great meal, great service and great atmosphere. Not interested in the dining under a time frame again, but totally gonna request to sit in Ian's section whenever I can.

The salmon is amazing. Went here on 4/27 at 7pm and felt like our bartender was discriminating us and asking us to pay for our food before we even got it. Which is why I gave it two stars. Bartender was white with long blonde hair. Definitely not coming back and my colleagues won’t either.

Food was incredible but what really did it for me was the service. The second I walked in I was taken back by how busy it was! Sure it was a Friday night but good for you Bar Siena for being so jam packed you can’t even walk! Alex greeted me at the host stand and asked if I had a reservation for my party, after letting her know I didn’t she found me a table instantly. I asked what she recommended since we were first timers and we did have to wait for another host to arrive to be seated, I didn’t expect a host to be so informed on the menu! When we were seated Whitney was our server and made sure I was taken care of. Never ever had to fuss or look around for her! The food is TO DIE FOR. On my way out I was politely asked how my meal was and Alex was very happy when I told her everything she recommended was amazing. Will definitely come back for the friendly staff!

I had a good experience aside from bacon in the soup. I specifically asked the bacon to be held. However there were large chunks of bacon in the bottom of the soup I realized only after I had eaten about half. This is not a religious rejection. However, it would have been a lot worse if it was. To be fair they did take the item off the bill. That being said, these types of things ruin the vibe of the evening when you're with others.

We thought this restaurant was BomboBar, but turns out it's connected to it. Place was busy, but got a table within 5 minutes. Ordered the carne pizza and chicken parmesan sandwich. Both were great and loved the parmesan cheese on top of everything.

A phenomenal brunch experience! The food was delicious (I had the breakfast sandwich and my brother had the steak and eggs), our waiter was attentive, helpful, and kind but not in our face (special shout-out to Jagher!!), and the restaurant itself was beautiful. One final touch was the music level was just right. Oh, and there was enough space between the tables that I didn’t feel like we were on top of each other.

This is a very cool bar. I went there with my friend on a Friday evening. The place was packed by 6 but we were able to find 2 seats at the bar after waiting for a spot to open up. Despite how busy it was, the bartenders were very attentive and made sure we weren't ignored.
