You must have seen that the average score it has is quite high, and it is based on a large number of scores, so we may say that the score is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are pleased with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to write tatings when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...

Great place! Nice to see an establishment like this remain in the community as it undergoes the transformation it's been going through during the past decade. Azul 18 offers delicious food, reasonably priced in a spacious and welcoming environment. Highly recommend!
Excellent! Wonderful service. Had salmon eggs Benedict outstanding. Friends food was excellent also. Can't wait to go back. BYOB gave carafe of OJ to make my mimosas. Very clean establishment
Not what I expected . I received excellent service, presentation and flavors are what you would get if you went to a fancy restaurant. Benignes are out of this world fluffy not doughy at all.
Food was awesome. Priced Right. Hit the spot for Mexican American breakfast food!
Brunch was very good. Love the byob aspect
Always worth the wait. Specials are good. Benedict's are great. If the Benedict trio is on special do not hesitate.
FABULOUS PLACE FOR BRUNCH!!! You might need to wait for a table, but only for a little while, and it’s absolutely worth the wait. Excellent dishes of all sorts; they seem to specialize in varieties of Eggs Benedict, but they also have pancakes, waffles, beignets and chilaquiles. The coffee is also delicious. This seems to be a popular place for dates!
Lobster Eggs Benedict! Wonderful!
Very friendly staff, you feel the warm and friendly atmosphere the second you walk in. Food is very good!
I usually go on Saturdays and is good, but Last week I attended in Tuesday at 2 pm. Service and food were poor. I spend 60 dollars for 45 min lunch for two and the food was bad.
Despite Azul 18’s lack of great service and their need for more waiters, the most vital factor for any restaurant at the end of the day is the food. And Azul 18 delivers on this aspect. The food is delicious , the presentation feels of higher quality than most restaurants and the pricing is more than fair. So to answer your question , yes I would come here again!
Great food. Good service. Just some advice get there early as a lot of people go and there isn't just waiting space.
Wonderful
Nearly perfect in every way. I could eat here daily.
Incredible BYO brunch. Really top notch. Breakfast burrito with homemade turkey chorizo is a can’t miss.
Azul is so yummy, a nice fusion of Mexican American food. The steak with eggs are delicious, would definitely recommend.
A delicious meal that will not disappoint. High quality ingredients used to make each item on the menu. The menu is petite but compensates for its great quality. Try the life juice if you have a chance.
Great place to eat. Prices are great.everyone is nice
Extremely friendly. On top of everything going on.
First time here. Really enjoyed it. We came during the week. There were only a couple of people there. I had the Cuban torta... Fantastic. My husband had the huevos ranches and he enjoyed them. The huevos rancheros come with Turkey chorizo; he would have substituted the Turkey for pork for more flavor. Definitely coming back to try their French toast.
Food was delicious and service was great!
It's super great but they need some AC in that place
Wow. Diverse menu and great Mexican cuisine. Yum!!!
Honestly, the food and service were excellent. However, if you come here hoping to use a group on, think twice. They did not honor my group op and was very disappointed- hence the two star. I would have been a true regular customer but will never return again, many authentic Mexican restaurants in the area who will treat me with more kindness and respect. I have worked in the hospitality industry for three years and your main concern should be having customers leave happy, not upset.
Azul 18 is a great brunch and breakfast spot for Pilsen. Super casual, colorful, sweet service and great food. Try anything with the turkey chorizo in it. I'll definitely be back.
Very good. Love all the soups and fresh juices
Maybe close to 4 stars not yet food was good s little skimpy for the price. Toast was not toasted tortillas were cold they have great sounding juice blends but the one I ordered was not served although my delicious coffee was comped! They have some Mexican food but no flour tortillas and do not cover the tortillas to keep them warm.
Amazing food. Love the atmosphere and great service.
Fish tacos we're terrible. Tiny and overdone. Poor value.
The service was mediocre, but friendly. i had the skirt steak n eggs. The food was good but not fantastic. I would however go again to try a different dish.
Staff is really friendly and the ambiance is good. Service in the restaurant is quick and we thought that the food was plenty. It was not very busy for breakfast when we went there. Only few other partieswere present so we had pretty dedicated service to ourselves. Menu has quite a bit of depth but lacks purely vegetarian/vegan options.
BYOB breakfast spot, they get you your food quick and closer at 3 pm. Have a little something for everyone. Not cheap but affordable
Asked for sugar but they only have brown and sugar free. Also needed cream for coffee. The food and coffee OK
Pretty homy place. The brunch is ok there. The service is fair. I had Chilaquiles and my mate had a Pilsen Waffles, both met our expectations but weren’t impress either. The prices on the menu online and in store do not match, be mindful. A couple of times they didn’t accept cards which was a letdown.
Everything was delicious. I had the fresh-squeezed orange juice and chilaquiles.
Very good and authentic breakfast. Friendly waiters and a nice cozy atmosphere, the music is also pleasant
Really delicious food! Cozy place, not very big and not a lot of tables but they were able to sit us right away for brunch on Sunday with group of 5
One of the best omelettes I’ve ever had. Great with bacon and turkey chorizo.
Great food great service. Parking always a problem in that area but the place is worth it.
Cute little place with byob option. Great service, delicious food and comfy atmosphere
This place is great. Delicious food and good prices while maintaining a solid cultural vibe for the neighborhood.
The breakfast here was delicious!! Customer service was awesome and above average. Definitely going to revisit!!
Been here twice and have had the pilsen chocolate waffles and crepes. Both were delicious.
The food is incredible and service was great. A great blend of classic breakfast and high end cuisine. Try the beignets!
Best omelette I've ever had, easily.
Excellent service, good coffee and food you can tell someone cared for while preparing it. Pork belly hash was delicious, served with poached eggs and crusty artisan bread.
Amazingly great food & service. Awful parking options, Uber or Lyft definitely. Byob was everything. Thank You
Food was good
It was good! Love the decor.
Amazing breakfast spot with plenty of options and specials! The food is fairly priced and delicious. The serving staff is delightful!
You must try the house pancakes and the pork belly omelette. This is a great brunch spot with Mexican flavors that you don't want to miss. Don't forget to try some of the fresh juices as well.
Coffee isn't that great. We got chilaquiles, waffles, and pancakes. Except for the coffee (a mocha), everything was great. Friendly staff and fast service.
Received the wrong order and potatoes were just battered grease! Wouldn't recommend doing take out with them!
Food was very good, place was empty when we arrived but withing minutes it got busy, I will be back for more.....
If you would like a spot for brunch on Sunday definitely not here. Its small. When you walk in people stare at you like deer in headlights. Like do i seat myself or is someone supposed to seat me. Then once you finally get seated be expected to wait 30min just for a menu and water. After that a century just to order your food. The food is not very tasty, mine was extremely salty. While you dine, they will proceed to not check up on you, but they definitely drop off your check no questions asked. Quite personally its a bit overpriced for the selection they offer. While in Pilsen go to other places where the food is actually authentic and people value your buisness.
chilaquiles and Smores French toast were absolutely delicious !!!! I loved it. only thing is I thought the omelet my husband ordered was average , we wouldn't order that again.
Second time here recently & probably my last. Waitress never came back to see how the whole table was doing or refill our waters. Food was ok.
Great food, great spot to revisit.
Delicious breakfast. Good portions. Great variety. The potatoes are to die for!
We went here for breakfast. It appeared lovely and also tasted really nice.
Delicious food and perfect music.
Good food, good coffee, staff was really pushing a lunch dish that was on special, but I was here for the Benny's.
Great food! Great price.
Good food prices and servixe
Great food, great prices, great service, but it's a little crowded in seating and amount of people there
Over priced!!! Juice portions are super small for the high price. I asked for extra pickles on my sandwich and was charged an EXTRA $1... for pickles. Unbelievable!
Had a lovely brunch with a friend. Food was good, nice portions!
Great food good service and decent prices!
Food was soooo delicious and the service was impeccable. Definitely worth the trip.
I love this place for brunch. The food has always been good, and the service has always been friendly. The place is very charming and casual. The menu has a lot of selection and the specials are always changing and interesting. Oh and the portion sizes are are very generous to say the least.
Azul 18 is a cozy restaurant located in the Pilsen neighborhood. The staff was absolutely charming, with prompt and attentive service. But, as lovely as the staff and ambiance were, I'm a Chicagoan, and the food these was NOT worth the price paid. It seems that Azul 18 is a former Mexican restaurant trying to cater to the Hipster/Millennial groups moving in. The food looked amazing but the flavor wasn't there, I could tell that they weren't used to the type of meal they were preparing. I don't think ill of them, but they're going to need some time, and more SEASONED chefs, if they're going to find their groove.
Good food and good service. Had the pork belly hash and it had a good serving of pork belly.
Flavors lacked on both ends the sweet and the savory dishes.
We ate here last night before a concert at Thalia Hall. We ordered crap cakes, their house stuffed chicken breast, flank steak, mussels and tortilla soup. Everything was fantastic. The service was excellent. It's BYOB and the waiter brought an ice bucket for our beer. We'll be back soon. Thanks for a great meal Azul 18. MK
Super yummy food! So many choices. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. Byob is a plus!
Tasty food, great service. It's BYOB so keep that in mind if you want a drink. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place. Reasonably priced too. We had the chilaquiles and the lobster Benedict, both of which were good.
YUM!! Delicioso!! Chilequiles one day, vanilla waffles with Nutella, banana and pecans the next. SO GOOD!! ❤️❤️ Great service and environment. Wish I brought my own champagne to make mimosas!
We found this restaurant on yelp. Once I opened up their page to learn more and saw those beignets, I knew I wanted to try them! When went on a Monday morning before my conference, and it was a ghost town. At first I wasn't sure if they were open. Eventually someone realized we were there and sat us at a table and gave us menus and coffee. The beignets are just as advertised. Delicious and warm, with two sauces to dip into. I would have been happy with just those! =P We did order eggs benedicts as well - my husband ordered the Tradicional Benedict, and I ordered the Lobster Benedict . The portions were more than generous! I felt horribly wasteful... but they were to big to finish. I had never had a lobster version of eggs Benedict before and was feeling adventurous, so that's why I tried it. It was okay... but the tradicional was better. This definitely must be a place for locals. We didn't realize how out of the way it was from the conference/downtown area.
Great seasoned food. There service was amazing.
Server was very disconnected. Expensive menu for this neighborhood.. Just wanted some quick late breakfast.. . not the right spot for locals or frequent diners ... Ordered SP fries Was charged 2$ for BBQ and ranch. Half portioned BBQ .. after I said something a new server sent a different check to me... Be careful with your check in here... Paid nearly 10$ for fries.
Great breakfast! Sorry delicious! But beware the beignets! They're just hush puppies under cover.
Great Food! Breakfast on point. Friendly staff
Amazing, unique in every way! Best lunch ever and most importantly amazing service.
I loved the food, good service!!
This place has very good food and the service is OK, but it is a bit pricey. Luckily it is BYOB also, so you can drink to forget about how much you just paid for an omelette.
Service is awesome and food is excellent!! Definitely recommend this place!!
Great food! Wonderful service.
Great atmosphere and service. Food was fast and delicious.
Very good
Great potatoes
The best Chilaquiles of Chicago's 18th Street @ Azul 18
Had a pretty good breakfast here.
Friendly service. Black bean burger was very tasty, as was my latte. A little hip, a little hole in the wall. Reasonably priced. Overall very happy.
Great place! Great food!
It gets pretty busy for brunch on the weekends but is super fun and tasty. BYOB!
INCREDIBLY delicious, authentic food. One of my favs! Chilequiles and huevos rancheros are AMAZING!
Really loved it here. Delicious food. The chilaquiles we're amazing.
Great place for breakfast and lunch! Highlights were the tortilla soup, the croquettes benedict, and the friendly service. Will be going back so much! Would have added photos but I smashed the food. Lol
A quick and delicious breakfast spot!
My family's go to place for brunch
Place is clean, good music, waitress was very polite and knowledgeable of the menu, food is ok, but I asked for strawberry syrup for my French toasts and lady said they only have maple syrup or blueberry, so that was disappointing, good portions, but they only refill my coffee once, price is just right, Buff seats are a little uncomfortable.
Always delicious. Try the house lobster benedict. It's delicious! Plus BYOB and quick, wonderful service.
presentation of food good hair in the food ohh yea watch for that in your food thru the day i was burping there greasy cheap oil they use and finally 1 hour from leaving this place got bad diahreah meaning my stomach encountered something bad they served me. never again azul 18.
Great service with a smile. Bottomless Intelligentsia coffee is worth the trip alone. House Pancakes, carmel caramelized banana pancakes to be specific, are some of best I have ever had. Great juices and hash too!
Beautiful presentation, attentive service. I was only there for breakfast, but I'll be back for dinner.
Nice quiet place to go for breakfast or lunch. The food is good and I definitely recommend the biegnets to share.
Great fish tacos. Less great chai (not served well) and won't split checks...
Fantastic chilaquiles, the homemade mole was incredible! Friendly amd attentive staff as well.
Great food, reasonable prices
Chilaquiles! The standard comes with a turkey chorizo. They had a pork belly special, too. I've had cheaper, but very few places do better. Their take on beignets won't take you to the French quarter, but they were very tasty. Service was friendly, and the staff made sure our party of eight had everything needed for our weekday brunch. The booths are well worn in, and the quality of food and service makes that no surprise. Definitely worth a visit.
This place is amazing! I had the Mexican omelette and it was one of the best I ever had.
Service was way below par, was really disappointed in the staff. Would not come back again.
Amazing Breakfast.. You have to eat here
I would LOVE to give them 5 stars, I didn't for a number of things. I took one star away from the false advertisement of Free Parking. The website advertised "Enjoy our FREE parking!" Much to my surprise when I got there the FREE parking was street parking. It was ONLY free because it was Sunday. I deducted another star for the service! Oh my gosh, it took us a FOREVER to get the waitress over to us. It wasn't that busy. Our waitress either didn't know how to use the POS or she dragged on purpose, who knows?!? We had a friend come in late, it took about 10 minutes to get her coffee after her order was placed. She only got it because I asked the busboy. He seemed to be working harder than our waitress still stuck at the POS machine. Other than, the food was PHENOMENAL!! The pancakes with caramel and bananas, YUMMY. I ordered ham and cheese croquettes benedict with potatoes, I can EAT, this was filling!! Food was great!! We brought our own champagne and paired it with their grapefruit juice and Orange juice. The Orange juice was delish. I had to sneak a glass of just juice. I just wish the service was a little better.
I only gave this place one star because there isnt an option for zero stars. Service was horrible, they didn't check up on us at all. We had to steal utensils and ketchup from another table. Pork belly hash was so greasy, bland, and soggy. The potatoes were undercooked in the hash and they were small diced, the best part of the dish was the toasted bread, dead serious. Ordered red velvet pancakes with cream cheese glace and the pancakes tasted like batter they didn't even taste like red velvet at all and the cream cheese glace tasted like only sugar, no cream cheese to be found. We also ordered the waffle sandwich and the waffles were super dry and dense, the menu description said it had cheddar cheese and didn't even have cheese in it, the eggs tasted burnt, and the house potatoes were fried too long and still managed to have them super hard and undercooked. The drinks were good though, but we will never be going back there. They need a new chef asap. Menu selection was great but the execution was horrid.
Be prepared to wait ridiculous amounts of time for mediocre food. Understaffed and slow establishment.
Food was so good. Them pancakes are killer. mmmm gotta back
Nice & quiet in the early morning, but weekend brunch can pick up. Fast, kind, execptional serve with hot & fresh Intelligentsia coffee. Pictured is the delicious chilaquiles!
