Delicious is an understatement. I had a craving for Korean BBQ. I didn't want to drive out to Chicago for it. This place showed up with good reviews on Yelp. I went there with a friend on a day off. To say I had the perfect meal would not be an exaggeration. Service was great. Had a good conversation with our server. Definitely planning on coming back again.

Beware. False working hours. Even though it states they close at 11, they stop serving food 9:50pm. More than an hour before the actual closing time! Adjust the business time accordingly.

Took my family here for dinner and I've been to many Korean Restaurants and by far this is the place that provides very good service. I'd say the food is good and the price is decent. The owner is a very nice person, he always check on us to make sure that everything was going well. He even gave the kids some chocolate! The servers were very nice too. Over all, we enjoyed and had a great experience in this place. I personally love going to a place where they treat you kindly and provides good customer service and this is one of those places. Will definitely come back here again! :)

I suggest eating elsewhere. The food is improperly kept, seasoned and cooked. and dining area was constructed poorly, which gives that grimy look. The kimchi is mushy and mildly spicy. The beef has lot of sugar and bad after taste. Some of the side dishes taste like its been sitting in room temperature for hours. Even during lunch time there is not more than one other paying customer. Please don't waste your money here. You'll get more bang for the buck at McDonald's.

Great Korean food and service. I ordered the army soup (it's big enough for at least 3 people if not 5) and was very please with amount of meat and veggies in it. They were caring but not hovering and the side dishes were all good even for beginners. I do eat a lot of kimchi so I wish the bowl for that one was bigger but service was good enough I was never wanting.

This is a nice well laid out Korean bbq restaurant in Schaumburg. We got the assorted meat combo with 4 different offerings of beef and pork. Finished the meal with cold noodles which is a common course among Koreans. Reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit.

Very poor quality of service. Decor is horrible. Way to overpriced for the quality of food. Will never go again. Not kid friendly. They don't explain the food to you really bout the only good thing was the dumplings and the rice. They pay more attention to their own kind. Avoid at any means possible.

First time ever having Korean BBQ. This place did not disappoint. Normally I am not a fan of very spicy food. Their kimchee was spicy, but not hot enough where you couldn't taste anything after. Our waiter was fantastic. He didn't hesitate to explain all the dishes to us and gave us tips on how to eat the bbq with all the side dishes. The range of flavors was great. No two bites were the same. As for atmosphere it was very laid back and quiet. My husband and I will definitely be going back soon.

I think this is hidden gem. A little bit difficult to find and we drove almost an hour to find this Korean restaurant, it was worth the drive and we are not disappointed. Each table has grill and if you have a large group you can choose their semi-private rooms which i think can sit up to 10 people. we got combo B and C, all has pork + beef brisket + short ribs. The only difference was C has seafood. Cooking was easy and each of the semi-private rooms has a door bell if you need your servers' assistance. Prior to BBQ, they provided as with banchan as our appetizers. I enjoyed the pickled cucumbers and tofu. It was so much food but we all have a happy tummy afterwards. We just felt that we were rushed, before getting the check the servers were already changing the grill and cleaning-up. Definitely coming back!!!

The portion is really small and the quality is somewhat okay, but it is definitely not worth the upcharge. 3 slices of pork belly for $20 is terrible. I will not recommend this place to anyone since even I was hungry afterwards and my friend and I spent $70.

We had a great experience here at 92 Town. We ordered combo A and B for six of us. We all enjoyed it our waiter was very helpful and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and it was so plentiful that we took some home. The price for our visit was reasonable and expected. We especially enjoyed the setting of the place where as we sat in what seemed to be a separate room making our visit more cozy. If I had to say anything negative it would be that I order the Hite Beer and I felt it could of been colder. We will definitely go back as we felt overall our visit was very enjoyable.. I love Korean BBQ and therefore ordered the Combination B- the galbi was the standout. The banchan (side dishes) were tasty and of course offered free refills. Don't feel worried if you haven't done BBQ before, you can ask the waiter to demonstrate

Great KBBQ joint with decent service. We ordered a meat package for a flat price and it adequately fed four very hungry diners. The meat was absolutely top tier, especially the bulgogi and kalbi. Our server generously cooked it for us. They only offered eight banchan (free sides), which were fresh, had free refills, and adequately covered the spectrum, but some other places offer 3+ more. It looks like the locals love this place and they have a few obscure dishes, so I can see myself coming back

Wasn't that impressed. Lady seemed to pushy. She kept trying to tell me how to cook my own food. I just wanted to leisurely enjoy my dinner while having a conversation with my wife. It wasn't that busy either because we went after 7 PM and it was snowing out. Maybe an isolated incident. Food was okay.

At koreanbarbecue customers can order drinks. Like soda and water. The staff is always friendly. On the menu customers can order chickens and meat. On each table is a grill so that customers can grill the food on a table.

It was decent. We stood unnoticed at the door for quite a long time, and when we were seated seemed rushed to order, lest we not see our server again. Food was okay. Service was average. Maybe had we not driven 40 minutes out of our way to try this place it would've seemed better.

I would give it between 3 and 4 stars. The food is great and very flavorful but the portions are small for the price. I wouldn't recommend coming at their very busy times because you end up cooking your own food. Most of the staff is really nice though.

I loved the food, although I've had better. I was expecting the high prices. I think my family and I must have visited on a bad day, because the staff was definitely not friendly. We didn't get a greeting at all, just "how many?" and sat us down, we ordered and they left us to fend for ourselves. I'm really hoping it wasn't a race thing. I won't return or recommend places like this that charge such high prices but don't match it with quality customer service.

FANTASTIC!! Tried for the first time at lunch today and was blown away. Wait staff was very friendly and the food was to die for. I had the YeomSo-Tang / Goat Stew. It was served boiling hot and spicy (I let the waitress know I love spice). The sides were incredible - the kimchi was the best I've ever had. I will definately be going back.

Went to 92 Town with a group of girlfriends. We enjoyed the Korean BBQ, JapChae, HaeMul-PaJeon (Seafood Pancake) and Tofu Dolsot-BibimBap. Everything was delicious and it was a great way to spend an evening with friends. Have already gone back again! Recommended!

My son and another guest decided to stop here for lunch. While the food was acceptable, the service was not. Due to the poor communication skills, I got zapped with a check for over $100. I will never even drive near this place again. We asked how much the double order of Bulgogi was, and we were told $27.00. When the bill arrived, we found that we had been charged $27.00 twice, and with not enough meat to fill a small cereal bowl. Basically we got robbed. Do NOT eat here!!! They ignore customers and have very poor manners. Not like any Koreans I have ever known.

Still a bit pricy but that is normal for Korean BBQ. Meat tasted really good although the portions could be bigger. Rice also cost extra. Recommend making a reservation since it may get busy.

My first time coming here! And I love the inside of the restaurant. We were seated right away but had to be changed to a different table because we ordered only 1 order of bbq. I was happy to receive the raw meat in order to be able to cook it but it came already cooked. I was dissapointed! The food was amazing though! Now as for service! I'm sad to say it isn't great :( Although, we were seated right away we didn't receive our menu right away but noticed this new people to be seated and getting their menus first before us! We waited for our food as more customers came and got their orders and food first! I don't know if it was because we were not asian or white! But it did not feel fair at all... towards the end of our meal we were FORCED to leave a tip and we did but one of the employees were not satisfied with the amount we were leaving and made us give her more tip!! In conclusion, I would like to say I recpmmend this place for the good food but at the same time no because service was just terrible :(

One of the best restaurants in the area. The staff are great with first timers to the Korean BBQ experience. Always very attentive and check on the tables often. Seafood Pancake, Tteokkochi, dumplings, and any of the BBQ Combo Plates are always a must especially for first timers. Always a satisfying experience coming here.

92 Town was my first experience at a Korean restaurant, and I couldn't have been more impressed. I got the Bulgogi lunch special and my friend got the DolSot-BobimBap lunch special with beef. This was soooo much food and it was all so impressive. Before our meal, we got a spicy soup. It was very hot and spicy which was perfect for a cold winter day.

I have ordered numerous things including chicken, fish soup, seafood pancakes, kimchi soup and other Korean staples. most of these dishes I loved, a few such as the king squid are an acquired taste. beware that the fish soups are bone in The prices and customer service really make this a fantastic place to have Korean food in the west suburbs

Food was ok. A lot of fruit flies where flying around our food. We went after 8 p.m. so it wasn't busy at all and we were only asked once if we needed anything else besides what we initially ordered. Of course at that time we didn't need anything because we had just received our drinks and such. But once we finish our drinks, we obviously want more. The experience would had been much nicer if we could have cooked the food ourselves. The servers cooked the food for us and we felt rushed and a bit invaded. This wasnt the experience i had wanted for my sisters first time. That was also very new to me as the bbq restaurants i have gone to before didnt have servers cooking the food. I suggest having the servers cook the food be an option rather than making it be a necessity. Overall, food and service was good.

They filled up the grill and didn't let us control the speed we would have liked to dine. We felt rushed and with this style of restaurant and from my experience in Korea, this isn't supposed to be like that. Wasn't busy either. Last issue, no veggies for the grill. Cold sides were good though.

Food here is always good - they have quality meat and their price is very reasonable. I would suggest getting the beef brisket (chadol), the steak, and then moving onto the hamjungsal (pork cheek?) and the dwejigalbi (marinated pork short ribs).

My husband's parents came along for some good Korean food. It was good and well seasoned and that's all I can say about that. The service is terrible! The lady cooking the food combo we choose was rude, and my father in law ended up doing almost all the temperature control/cooking on the table grill. (If I'm spending money, I don't want to worry about cooking because I cook constantly already!) Then the waitress didn't mention the cultural difference about the soup and rice. She told me I had to tell her if I wanted soup and rice first because they won't bring it until you say so. Okay, so I'm American and didn't know this and she had an obvious tone when she said it. If you don't tell someone as they are ordering how are they supposed to know?! After my blood had started boiling they didn't bring us any rice wine that I asked for. I had to go up and let them know. Even then they gave soju not makgoll. I told them this was not the right drink and they fixed it. By this point I'm going to give a bad tip because my father in law cooked, they didn't tell us anything about rice and soup, and they forgot our drinks until I found someone. We get the bill and they took the tip on the bill already! That's why they don't care! I think tip should not be taken out by the establishment it is based on service!!!! I WILL NOT GO BACK!!! I guess I'll try Koreana they have better reviews and their food tastes just as good. To the owner: All you need to do is explain that to people who don't know Korean culture. It feels that you are still trying to say that I'm the one who should already know this and this doesn't exuse the attitude from staff and forgetting things. A good business learns from bad reviews and trys to bridge a culture gap (if there is one) by explaining how it works beforehand.

Wow - this was our second time here, and we’re hooked! Our first experience in June brought us in on a quiet night, so we got a lot of one-on-one attention from the waiter. He was extremely friendly and helped us pick two bbq dishes that were both very good (Dwaeji-Galbi and Bulgogi). On this visit they were much busier, but we still felt well cared for. Our meal was once again amazing. Highly recommend!

First time to 92Town Korean restaurant and I’m glad I did. Since Korean food is my favorite, I always start with YukGaeJang when visiting for the first time. I’ve had this spicy shedded beef and green onion soup many many times, so I know what it should be like. This one lived up to any comparison of all the Korean restaurants I’ve enjoyed. By the way, there are hundreds of Korean restaurants in and around the Chicago area. If you have never been to one, you’re missing out. Some foods are very spicy, which I love, and many are not. The food is extremely healthy, low fat, and with varied flavors. So I have been back again and this time I had the Doenjang-Jjigae which is the soybean paste stew. Some meat but lots of great vegetables and tasty soup itself. This restaurant has some of the very best Kimchi I’ve ever enjoyed. If you don’t want spicy and like beef, do go for the Korean BarBQue. Try it. you won’t be sorry. Please like.

Worst Asian restaurant Ive been to. When I asked if the stew was spicy or not I was told it wasnt. When the waitress brought it to me, all I can see and taste was red pepper. She never came back to ask me if everything was ok. When she brought the check she saw I barely touched the food and still didnt bother asking any questions. This places caters to Koreans, Ive heard multiple opinions that if you are not Korean customer service is non existent. They were right.

Love this place! Servers are friendly, and we made good conversation! The deokkogchi is the reason why I come here though - it's crispy on the outside, but nice and soft on the inside! I don't know how they do it, but they manage to balance the spiciness with sweetness very well. That, and the kalbi here is honestly one of the best I've ever had! The pricing may seem a bit high to some, but for the quality, it's worth it :) I recommend anyone wanting to have a taste of authentic Korean food to stop by this place!

I've had korean bbq in Korea and this was the closest I've had to that quality. It is a little pricey, but the quality is great. The staff was kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Horribly disappointing. The only reason why I have two stars is because the people were very friendly and attentive. The food on the other hand? Awful. The kitchen galbi was dry and flavorless. It wasn’t properly marinated. (Cost was 30) The soup that also comes with was very watered down. I also ordered the dolsot bibimbap, which was cold. (Cost was 13)I won’t be coming back, even if I was desperate. It really wasn’t good at all.

Service was average, meat was ok but there was a lot of fat on the meat and it was ridiculously over priced. I came inside and left hungry with a bill of 130$ among 5 people. Your better off hot plating your meats at home. And pay well worth a fraction of what I payed for
