Went here for my birthday and was very disappointed. The service was horrible. I've been here previous times with my parents and the service was fine. I get charging an automatic 18% gratuity but your service has to be up to par. It took forever to get our drinks ordered and even longer for our food order to be taken. They switched waiters 3 times on us and each one was worse. Literally no one else was in the resturaunt and we were being ignored. Everyone at our table wanted to order desert but decided not to because the waiter dissapeared and it would've taken forever. They also screwed up my dinner order and were very rude about fixing it.

It's a bit pricey, but the food is unique and delicious. They have a unique tipping policy. They automatically add 18% and ask you don't tip. It is Peruvian food too, if you're like me and didn't check haha.

Mixed review. We came on a Sat night about 5:45 pm no reservation. Service was disappointing. A couple of our dishes were very under seasoned so waited for our waitress to request salt. We finally went to the bar and asked. We didn't see our waitress until we had finished our meal. We were hoping to request more of their green Peruvian sauce (delicious) for our meal. Under salted/seasoned food is frustrating especially when it's pasta. It's tough to season after the fact. My husband had the rib eye and it was delicious, mashed potatoes were very bland under seasoned. My 13 yr had the burger and was happy. My son had the shrimp scampi pasta not great because of not having any flavor because it hadn't been salted. I had the fisherman stew which was good. So overall it was a 3.

Amazing food. I got the seafood Paella and it was to die for. My wife and I love it here however they are pretty expensive so we don't go too often. Their sangria drinks are unsurprisingly very well made. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Anyone giving less than 5 stars came on an off night. Try it again. Our favorite restaurant everytime we come in town, between either Pullman or Moscow. You will be hard to find the Long Grain Risotto at any other restaurant. Give it a try. Sangria grille offers food you won't find at other restaurants.

The food is excellent. The "non gratuity establishment" is a scam. The service reflects that. We made reservations for my Daughters birthday although the host was gracious and wished her a happy birthday upon arrival, that was it. Nothing. The waitress was rarely in sight. They could do alot better. Being charged for the full tip for bad service sucks.

Wow! This was the best tasting food I've had since I discovered poke' bowl. I had steak milanesa which is a flattened, tenderized, breaded and fried steak on a generous bed of green cilantro rice with a topping of lime soaked Romain lettuce. It was interesting and fantastic. I've never tasted anything like it. We split a tres leches and it was probably the best dessert we've ever had in a restaurant. Service was great, and a very nice atmosphere. It's not cheap and the gratuity is included, but it's well worth it if you're looking for a very delicious meal that's different.

19% forced tip, what? Cold red wine, what? 4+ different servers, what? My shrimp scampi was good I had them make it mild. My wife's risotto was mush and with out the fried bananas. The waitress did notice and brought them. Not up to par. They will be out of the early rotation for a while.

5+ Stars! No kidding...Sangria Grille is outstanding. Located in a nondescript building in the middle of a mall parking lot it's easy to miss, but once you're inside it's beautiful. The food was fantastic. I've traveled all over the world and it was some of the best anywhere. Try the Peruvian Paella and make sure you leave room for desert. I’m a chocoholic and went for the dark chocolate cheesecake...absolutely outstanding. The people there were warm, friendly, and genuine. How refreshing is that? I can’t recommend this place enough. Terrific!

My wife and I ordered both the ruby and the golden “sangrias” and they were incredibly great. As a starter, I recommend the Calamari. For the main plates, the Peruvian Paella was well done and did not take long to make. “The Shrimp Scampi was spicy but awesome!” My son said. The Lomo Saltado was succulent. It is definitely something that I am going to order next time. And lastly, this restaurant is tip-free, joining Maialina and Lodgepole for restaurants in Moscow that do not encourage tips. This place is worth having lunch or dinner at.

For being there for the first time, service was great. My mom and I order a rib-eye steak and a New York steak. We both got excellent waiters, who took care of us. My mom ordered an adult beverage and they were very accommodating due to the first drink that my mom took was too spicy and the took it back and they only charged us for one. Thank you for being nice and thank you for the best weekend ever. When we come back up, we will eat there again because of the service staff and the environment.

The food is amazing and the service is great. I had the Lomo Saltado and it was delicious. The steak was tender and juicy and the sauce is great. I had the sweet potato creme brulee for dessert. Wow! Great combination of flavors with a hint of cinnamon.

I really do love Sangria. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food tastes great. I also appreciate that they care their employees are making a livable wage and I like that tips are not accepted ever (but, there is a 19% service charge, and I understand why a number of people do not like that aspect). Wait times can be very long and this is a place worth getting reservations for during busy times. Service can be slow. The drinks are good but most of the mixed cocktails I've tried in the menu tend to be on the sweet side. For my last two visits my food was very salty, and my last visit I wish I would have ordered a side or appetizers as it seemed to be a fairly small portion (but still good, either way).

Been there twice now and love the food and service. Make reservations, they get busy. Had the New York strip steak with gorgonzola cheese one night and the lamb chops another night, both were incredible. Got the chocolate mousse for dessert, and had to fight my family members for a few scraps.

An ok place to eat. The menu here used to be quite large but they've scaled it down to a reasonable amount of dishes. The food is usually pretty good. They still serve that wonderful green (hot) sauce before you get any food (I've always loved that). It goes great with most of the appetizers. The prices are a touch high. More than anything though, its the overall presentation that disappoints me. The last time I was here, though I got a glass of wine in a chipped and smudged glass. The tables always seem like they could be better prepared and the service is kind of a second thought. I hope they turn it around at some point.

Every visit is a good experience. The food is exceptional, it really stands out relative to other restaurants in the area. Slightly higher pricing than most restaurants in Moscow. I don't mind paying a little more because their food is so good. I also like how they do not assign one server to a table. Many times I am helped by multiple servers and this makes the experience short and easy. I have never had to wait for a check or a refill on a drink. Sangria is my go to place for a date with my wife when visiting Moscow.

I loved the food and the drinks but I was really irritated about the fact that I came on a Thursday and mentioned that the soap was out in the bathroom and when I left three hours later I placed then soap dispensers on the bar and all the same bartender could say was 'thank you'... No soap was ever replaced in their bathroom

The food was great, but once we were seated apparently no one told a server we were there so we got to cool our heals for about 15 minutes before the bartender stumbled across us after seating someone else. She was very apologetic and told us that they would make it up to us. Bloody Mary was wonderful (half price happy hour) and my burger was very tasty. We paid for everything, no discount or comp on drinks so not sure how they made it up to is... But Ohh well.

I have been in Palouse area for 6 years now, and this restaurant is reducing food quality, reducing portions and increasing pirices outrageously, I am really unhappy and disappointed with this. I used to bring my guests here, but I am not sure if I could do it anymore.

Had a mediocre time there. The food was good but for the price and the included gratuity I expected better service. We felt sort of like an afterthought. Took a long time to have our drink order taken, no one offered us a highchair/booster for our son, never had our drinks refilled or were given a decanter of water, meals arrived at different times, only half of my son's leftovers were boxed up (cut up empanadas are still leftovers), etc. Overall, I don't think we will be returning even though the food was yummy.

Stopped in on Valentine's Day for drinks and dessert (scouting it out for a future dinner). Place was packed, but it lived up to it's well deserved reputation. Service was excellent (sat at the bar), staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Dessert was excellent (made in house). Atmosphere was perfect for conversation. Will be back for dinner, food looked and smelled great/distinctive. Perfect spot for Valentine's Day. Highly recommend.

Sangria was surprisingly wonderful! I moved to Idaho, from the DC area about a year. Since then, rarely has a restaurant met my expectations, even when highly recommended. I was visiting Moscow for work and was extremely pleasantly surprised with Sangria. I had an amazing Paella. My cocktail was innovative and delicious (Kentucky Pear), and the Tres Leche dessert was one of the best I’ve had. The staff was extremely pleasant and responsive. To top it off, they have a service charge of 18% automatically included, so tipping isn’t necessary. That helps ALL members of the staff receive equal and livable wages. Their ingredients are locally sourced and often organic. Well done Sangria, will definitely return when I visit Moscow again.

My wife and I along with another couple had dinner here while on a motorcycle vacation from Canada. The food was simply incredible, the service was second to none and the price point was very affordable for the quality of meal served. The 4 of us enjoyed the food immensely. Really disappointed. Steak was green on the edges and almost rancid, server said this was normal. I was served 18 grilled jalapenos as "mixed veggies", my wifes stir fry had french fries in it..really. The only decent thing was the wine, otherwise ruined our anniversary dinner. This is the best place to eat in Pullman or Moscow. Every time I celebrate I go to this place, I tell myself I should try something new, but why would I mess with perfection. Their food is delicious and you will not find anything like it around. The staff is always nice and the drinks are always just right. Monday's are half off apps and I would suggest going for those and spending the night for drinks and dinner.

Have been here multiple times with my partner over the last few years, and we have never had a bad meal. We have come for dinner on our own, with friends and colleagues, and for their Valentine’s Day event a couple times, and have always had excellent service. Their steak dishes are great, and their wine selection is both extensive and varied in cost. We really like their tres leche cake and chocolate mousse desserts. Not necessarily cheap but not too expensive either. Looking forward to our next visit.

Disappointing. The paella isn't really paella -- more like fried rice with a wee bit of seafood thrown in. The risotto isn't too bad, but is nothing special. It is surprising that this place is so well-reviewed. The location in a mall parking lot is uninspiring, the automatic fee of 18% for a tip is dis-motivating for wait staff, though our waiter did a good job all in all. Middling quality.

I have mixed feelings about this place. My husband and I came here for a date night. The service was ok. Our waiter was in the kitchen whenever we needed something. We asked for several things which were never brought out. We ordered ribeye which came with mashed potatoes and kale, everything was so over salted or way too much garlic in each dish. It was hard to eat the rib eye because of how much salt was on it. The calamari and tres leche cake was divine. Sangria has a gratuity free policy with means you pay 18 percent tip which was not earned at all. There were several times where all the wait staff was in the kitchen. The restaurant also separates the staff from the booths so it makes it almost impossible to flag someone down for something. Our waiter seemed to have alittle bit of a nose in the air attitude towards us...which if you don't have to earn your tip it would be easy to have that attitude. Overall the tres leche and calamari was delicious and the atmosphere is pleasant, however the customer service and the fact that our main dish was almost inedible due to the salt and overuse of garlic I would probably not go back.

I really liked the food here. If you're vegetarian, this place has good options
