This is the most fun I've had at a theme restaurant in years! The ambiance is perfectly rendered with their scenic hidden village of tasty food and shock-value waiters and waitresses. So much sushi deals. And the plum wine was delicious.

Ana Miranda

You get what you pay for. It's an amazing place! The food was great and the service was too.

Julio Heredia

Normally, I'd give a place like this 2 stars because the food was not great, but the atmosphere and theatrics made up for the food. It felt like I was dining in a small Japanese village. One thing I really liked is that the dinning areas felt private (you're in your own little room that decorated with traditional jaoense decor). Also, the servers (who impersonate ninjas) do tricks depending what dish you order. Worth a visit, it this is definitely a "do it once so you can say you did it" place.

Edmund Tan

Cliche, yes. However it is original and I've not seem anything like it. A fun filled experience, albeit on the pricey side.

Brian Connery

Love Ninja. We went here before we had kids on a date, and went after we kids with them, and it is awesome!

Rachel Simon

I loved this place! Such a fun atmosphere and absolutely delicious food. Great for a date night!

Alyssa Montgomery

Great food, and a unique and entertaining experience. This is a great experience for people of any age and groups of any size. The service was wonderful and there are food options for almost any taste preference. Warning: Ninjas can be sneaky.

Peter Reeburgh

Fun place to dine. Great service, especially great presentation of dishes. Amazing for kids!

Ryan Cain

Went here on my birthay. great service, great food, AMAZING theme and overall great reasturant. 5/5 would totally recomend

Dustin Saunders

It was a unique experience, a little corny but fun. Food wasn't worth the price but the visit was. Worth checking out.

Kelly Hawkins

Silly fun. You're crazy if you come to this kind of a restaurant for authenticity. This is just a fun themed restaurant that is meant to make a memory! Don't take everything so seriously and I promise you will have a BLAST!!

John Smith

Fun experience. Food was rather below expectations and the server had a distinct lack of enthusiasm. Presentation was good however.

Pierre Bois

Friendly staff, had a great Food, and the desserts were light and not overly sweet. Definitely will be back for dinner soon.

Kenny Vazquez

Great food great vibe great staff

karthik keshava

The way the food is presented and how the ninja waiters take your order. Amazing experience. They have magicians who are super fun. I had tofu teriyaki, cucumber avocado sushi and baked Alaska. All of them were well prepared and presented

Xurious Skyfyre

Amazing. Magical Ninja Mike was great. Yumi (I think? Or Yuzi?) Was also awesome. You can go wrong. Food was on point.

Vivian Schirripa

So much fun! Everything is very aesthetically pleasing. Be prepared for the ninja waiters and waitresses because they have tricks up their sleeves! P.s. the women's restroom is gorgeous and filled with fake flowers.

Johnny Yep

Fun and exciting dinner adventure in old style Japanese village setting. The food presentation was exceptional and mysterious. The food quality was quite good. The servers were polite and friendly. Great for birthday parties or special events. Pricey but worth it for the experience. My 9 year old daughter has already requested to come again for her birthday party.

felicia Garcia

Food is ok, magic show is great

Bobby Brill

So much fun, for grown ups as well as families! Food was great and service was outstanding

Ashley Brown

Great place for amazing food and entertainment. Absolutely love this place. I've gone more than a few times and definitely recommend to try it.

nomotiv 81

My family surprised me with dinner here for my birthday. Great fun place. I'm not giving any spoilers away but...you will have a good time. Kid friendly and fun. My son had a blast. Food was really great as well!

Philip McCracken

Fun, interesting... doesn't like Samurai. :)

kathy gres

Very nice experience. Ninjas was great!!

Ange Amichia

I was actually really excited to try this place out after hearing good reviews about it. Unfortunately maybe I got them on an off day. My dry aged burger wasn’t that good. Thought it was only mine but my friends burger was just the same. The lamb chops and chicken teriyaki was really good. In regards to then whole ninja experience. Definitely wasn’t what I expect. The theme and decorations was really cool but the deliverance was poor. Good restaurant. Wasn’t up to my expectations personally.

Scott Layton

Fun experience, lots of ninjas, but the food, in particular the steak, left a lot to be desired.

Eric Aubin

It was very mysterious and not what a regular restaurant had been expected by anyone. It is very terrific and cool for everyone. Thier food was delicious. Anyone who goes there... HAVE FUN!!!

Sarah Raven

Such a fun place! If you like being "attacked" by ninjas while you eat, (and who doesn't am I right?) then this is the place for you! I can't say it is the best sushi I have ever had but certainly fun and creative.

Mike Henderson

My boys had the best time. Highlight of our New York visit. The food was great. Presentation was incredible with the magic shows and signature ninja dishes. We will definitely be back again on our next New York trip.

Samantha Campbell

The food was disappointing. You would seriously be better off eating at Outback its cheaper and its far more appetizing. The presentation, ambiance, magician, and fire trick with the food is truly all they have to offer. We had prime steak, mac & cheese, & french fries. For drinks we had the Rin, the Fuma and plum wine. The drinks were good the plum wine was questionable. The french fries were overly salty, mac & cheese very unappetizing like literally boxed mac & cheese is sadly better than the dish they serve. The steak was decent at best however I ordered mines well done and the steak had pink spots very frustrating. I would never eat at this place again. Complete waste of time. Your better off going to an actual magic show, watching ninja movies, and eating out somewhere where the dishes are actually delicious.

Estefany Alvarez

Amazing service great people individual ninja per table. Entertaining and fun. Delicious food.

TheOfficial DissMaster

When my group went, our ninja, Aniel, made my kid feel so happy for his birthday. The food was delicious and it was an amazing atmosphere. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking thrill and good eats.

D Gra

Overpriced tourist attraction with so so food.

Patrick Timoney

Strange set-up but was going for a Jekyll and Hyde theme style I guess. My family enjoyed it, the food was good, the staff was friendly and entertaining. Just ran on the expensive side.

Nikki Bennett

Great experience here. It has very unique decor and ambience. It was a lot of fun, many presentations. It's a cool gem to bring kids. We really wanted to order from the kid's menu to get the cool digs.

Syed Mesum Raza

Ninja NYC is not only a restaurant but an experience. The food was presented beautifully and was delicious. There was A LOT of food served as well. The other guest also interacted with the tables as the host instructed the guests to different things with their food ( for example the salad ). The magician was also very good at his tricks. I will be returning. The scares weren't terrifying but they did make me jump. Overall, amazing experience!

Lana Roth

Had a dinner there for a Birthday. Service was great. Waiters are super friendly. Food came out quick and was very tasty. Presentation is a key! Drinks were strong! You can check out the menu beforehand for the prices. We had a great time and a Birthday Person was very happy!

Melda Salhab

Definitely a unique experience, but more suited to younger diners than those expecting high quality dishes. The "ninja shows" are mostly a quick flaming of a dish using some alcohol. Overall, the food was average and underwhelming. The magician, on the other hand, was genuinely entertaining. I would recommend the restaurant only to groups with kids and not to anyone who gets claustrophobic as it's all underground in winding tunnels.

Jimmy Rugova

Great experience, but food isn't good

Richard Burgos

Would of been really nice if ninjas ran past your booth at times. Would also be nice if someone has their birthday there that they get a scroll or a cool ninja star plaque. Ideas for the future. For the price you pay that would be the minimum returned on a birthday. In all its a cool place, needs better decorations around like bamboo etc..

Mia S

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It’s definitely a fun place for party and great for people who are willing to explore the surprises. The food is more like a display, the quality on the other hand is less than mediocre. Their sushi taste like the cheap ones you brought from a supermarket. Most of their waiters put all their efforts on the show, but less attention on the actually dinning service. For example, nobody bring us any extra plates when our group asked multiple times; nobody cares when we ask to tune down the “hey-ya!”; but surely not shy to ask for more tips. Overall, if you are looking for a place for great food photos and fun experience, go for it! If not, find a real sushi place and spend the same amount of money on the fresh and good food instead.

FELIX CHING

Nice place and good service..

Jennifer Pineda

This place is pretty cool. Very different experience, the waiters are really entertaining and the little magic show is as well. The way to your table is pretty cool too. Definitely worth coming here. & it isn’t as expensive as people usually suppose. I dont eat sushi but my boyfriend does and he reallyyyyyy enjoyed it. I had some chicken and it was goood ! Definitely recommend coming here! I also loved how private it is. Like u can actually have a really good meal and conversation with someone here. The vibes are pretty cool. & the women’s bathroom is so cute

Kyle Bass

The food here is impeccable. The sushi is incredibly tasty and the drinks are as well.

Henry Laun

Seriously expensive but excellent decor and service. The servers are ninjas and they sneak up on you. If you order a certain dish you get a ninja show or surprise with it. You get a magic show at the end too.

Jay Jeffries

Ninja NY is amazing! Don't be fooled by the plain exterior because once you step into the elevator you're in a whole different world. The entertainment is equally fun and nerve racking....our waiter was beyond great, never breaking character. Each diner is seated in their own semi private Japanese inspired area. The food is both delious and beautiful. I had the Yukimura set, hubby had Keade and our other guest had Sarutobi. Beware Ninja is a bit pricey but a much needed treat, you get great food and entertainment. The experience is worth it all.

M G

I absolutely loved it here! It really had the Japanese

Chris Brewer

A fun experience in a themed environment. The food measures up. If you're seeking a quiet, laid back dinner, this isn't for you. Our party ordered sushi and we were impressed with the quality and the presentation.

Joe Allen

Loved the food and amazing ninja waiters. Such a cool experience!

Regina Castillo

I love the ninja theme, its throughout the whole restaurant. The food is great, there steak is delicious. It was lots of fun with the waiters as ninjas, popping out at you.

Katherine Miller

My husband took me to this place last night and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had!!! The food was delicious and the service was great. I'll remember this place for the rest of my life. Totally awesome!

Nicholas Petrillo

A fun evening - a dining experience unlike anything I’ve had before.

Asia Artist

I took my son here for his 5th birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed it. I will say I knew the food was overpriced so it wasnt a shock we really paid for the experience which was alot of fun. Our server was awesome as well as the entire staff. They did a little magic show for my son and he was in awe. The food was descent. We ordered the ninja star cake for dessert and that was the only bad thing about it. It was cold, hard, & not appetizing at all. None of us took a second bite. Otherwise fun place to bring a kids and for date night.

WANDA WALKER

Crazy Experience this place you have to check for yourself. You will love it

Natasha Flood

My son loved ninja. Staff were very friendly and entertaining. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Marie-Lune Houde-Brisebois

It was really cool! Good food and fun experience. Would recommend.

David Ahn

Jekyll and Hyde Club was the worst theme restaurant I have ever went to... and this place was worse than the Jekyll. 1. Don't expect too much .. it's all depends on what you are ordering & your waiter. Each meals have "presentation" and some of drinks have effects like colored ice. Waiters does some magic tricks but ours didn't. 2. If you are a ninja you have to sneaks up on your target, Right? NO. in here they scream whenever they feel like it or while you are eating. The "passage" is way too small so don't even think about bring the stroller here.

Kevin Lane

Took my wife for her birthday and what a great experience this was. The food was great and the Resturant decor was amazing. The sushi comes out on dry ice and ninjas actually serve you. I will deffinetly go back when I get a chance.

Noah Hughes

Amazing food, amazing service.

Diego Sayão

Amazing food and very entertaining

abbasiu123

This is a great place to go and change things up a bit. As soon as you enter you're in for a real treat. They keep the environment fun and the food doesn't let you down at all. Had a great time going with my wife and a couple friends. Service was excellent and got a had magic show thrown in the mix as well. Definitely would recommend to everyone

Charlene Terhanian

I remember seeing this restaurant in a video many years ago, so it was awesome to get the chance to actually get to experience it! And it was so much fun! All of the food we ordered was great and our Ninja (Ryan) was very personable and funny. There were some glitches with timing of our food, but overall our dinner was great. They even had a ninja/magician come by our table to give us a private magic/card show. Highly recommend, especially for families!

Jack Valenzuela

The service is always speedy, lovely vibes, very welcoming employees. I will eat here again when I arrive in town.

Khadeeja Hakh

I love the ambience of this restaurant, however our waiter was terrible. We really went here to get the ninja vibe and get our little scare on but our waiter was super apathetic about our entire experience. Food was great nonetheless.

Jaime Zaccaria

Really enjoyed the vibe! Wish we would have gotten a different server, part of our party was running late and as soon as we sat down he let us know there was a time limit on each table. We ordered drinks and appetizers as we waited for the rest of our party and still felt like we were being rushed. He didn’t seem as enthusiastic as the other servers or as friendly. Super unprofessional when it came to handling the check. Screamed across the restaurant asking how we wanted it split. Overall great place and food gave it 4 stars because every other employee that interacted with us was great, just felt like our server was annoyed with us from the start.

Crystal Gail

It is unique but I didn't like food. It is not their fault, ıt is about culture and taste style.

Tim Studt

On November 21, 2017 was my 29th birthday I had the most wondrous time there it’s Entertainment was superior, Customer Service was superb, authentic theatrics were beautiful overall, surprises around every corner as what you can expect from ninjas with Pure authentic Ninjitsu.

Matthew Lamotte

BEST RESTRAINT EVER THEY LIT THE STAKE OF FIRE IT IS 1# RESTRAINT EVER

Juliana Leipuner

Would totally recommend this place for everyone if you're looking for a fun dinner spot. It's a themed restaurant and when I first saw it, looked like it was geared towards kids but it's still a great time as an adult. Our server was in character and hilarious and the food was pretty good. At the end a magician came around and performed tricks for us. It was the perfect way to end dinner! Everyone was so kind though. I noticed that a man, who I think was the owner, was helping bus and reset tables, which is wonderful because he's an owner who leads by example. Such a neat place!

Edison Sandoval

Prices are standard NYC restaurant prices. If you like jump scares, this is the place to go. You'll always be on guard and even then, they'll catch you. Fun family restaurant, especially for kids. Food is pretty good too, but some dishes have a *ninja star* icon which means it includes a performance (which is why the price might be a bit higher for the dish). Love this place, would definitely go again with family, friends and especially for a younger family member just to see their reactions. 10/10

Rick H

I wanted to love this place but just couldn’t. The elevator was broken so you had to take the stairs which was dimly lit and kind of sketchy. Nothing felt amazing entering. Host wasn’t friendly. There was a weird smell. Sat down, our “ninja” was ok. The food... it was just plain bad. Overly priced for theatrics. You have to tip additional for the “ninja magic show” like what? Why isn’t it apart of the experience?? Check came, didn’t feel it was worthy of a great tip. Best part.. waiter came chasing after me outside saying I gave a bad tip.. just wow. I tip according to service and he made it seem like I was being cheap... definitely not coming back here. Food and service was terrible.

Emily Bilenkis

Nothing special about that place. Their dishes are very expensive, not worth it.

Nevlon Duguid

Food was good and the experience was awesome for my lady's birthday

Chelsie Poff

This place is absolutely wonderful! They do such a great job entertaining the kids. Food was excellent too; just be careful because the helpings were more than we anticipated. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs!

BigRed CacheMachine

My kids give it a 5 star. They don't have to pay. They also didn't realize there is a significant difference in ambiance of you end up in the open end sitting almost euro style with another group.

Easton Westerly

Worth trying once but it looses it appeal after the first time. Food is okay but not worth the price in my opinion. Level of entertainment is not consistent with each visit and neither is the food or cleanliness of the huts.

Kelli Calle

My family and I had a great time! As soon as you walk in, you go down the elevators and go “underground” to your table. But watch out, there are ninjas that jump out and surprise you! Lol

Adam George Palios

I didn't know what to expect and this restaurant blew my mind. The entire experience was phenomenal. The commitment to the bit on behalf of the servers and wait staff, the quality and portion sizes of the food was magnificent. The magic show at the end was INCREDIBLE, we filmed one of the tricks and STILL don't know how he freaking did it!!!! I can't say enough good about this place. Not a single detail ignored, and every single morsel of the food delicious. AND THE TOILETS, imported from Japan and the most comfortable throne you will ever sit on! We don't come to NYC often, but this is a place I will come to every single time. Book a reservation ASAP, it'll be one of the most enjoyable meals of your life! (So upset that I left my bent quarter from the magic trick there, I wanted to keep that as a token to remember the evening by forever)

Balal Hussain

Good fun experience for the kids. Food is your standard sushi. Again kids 4-12 will have a blast!

G P

The Tribeca sushi bunker where guys in ninja costumes jump out from the shadows and surprise you with screams and/or magic tricks. The ninja-warrior gimmick starts with a walk over a magically lowered drawbridge that leads into what's supposed to be a Japanese mountain village but instead conjures medieval catacombs, with private tables separated like crypts. BE AWARE some Ninjas will jump out of the walls to scare you twice before you enter the dining area (oops! I just spoiled all the fun! LOL) Ninja Servers, who wear black robes, announce themselves loudly before entering, and begin some of the courses with "ninja magic" tricks that involve hokey glowing fingers and bursts of smoke and flame. The menus, unveiled on table-wide scrolls, claim to be based on a "secret ninja recipe bible." Ninja is definitely an experience! Came here on a girls night dinner to catch up with friends and it was very entertaining. There's a lot of surprises, ninjas running around and some magic. Our waiter, Ninja Chris, started out a bit grumpy but warmed up after a while. Actually, the Magician was the best trick of the night hands down!! His potato trick is pretty awesome! Throughout the dinner, they continue to scare you with sudden movements and door slamming. One of the ninjas accidentally hit a girl who was sitting across from us with the menu… she was not amused by his ninja skills Drinks: *Authentic Sake Tasting* and also *Flavored Sake Tasting* $20 each – it was ok… not sure I would do it again (some of the flavored taste like fruit juice…) * Wine – decent selection and prices Food: We all got the $69 prix fixe that comes with a mozzarella/ tomatoes appetizer, lobster bisque, sushi roll and NY strip Steak – pretty good if you are aware you don’t go there for the food. Food was not gourmet by any means but good… Dessert Baked Alaska: has banana ice cream inside (probably my favorite) Ninja Star: chocolate mousse it was good but you can get that anywhere in NYC (and will probably even taste better) You will be easily looking at a $350+ bill for 3 people. I think is worth to visit at least once. It was also featured on a few tv shows like “extreme bathrooms” and “extreme restaurants” on the travel channel a few years back if you want to check it out before venturing down there

Lola

Food was delicious, drinks nice and staff friendly. But no great entertainment the magician was nice but bring cash to tip him. It was clean establishment. Thought ninjas and more action.

Kristin Bradley

After reading many reviews and seeing some amazing looking food, we decided to book here while in NYC this April. I brought 2 teenagers and hoped to have a well cooked meal, with some added"entertainment". What we got was: -A dirty "room", the walls were grimy, the seats were so dirty on the backs you could see it. Reminded me of what one would see in an old bar. -The menu was more like a chain restaurant, with unimaginative aptz, and few upscale offerings. Nothing like any of the professional reviews- -The "ninjas" come jumping into your table room with a "HA!" & smack things loudly in the tables each time they enter. (We all left with a headache) Not sure what people meant by magic tricks, and the "shows" that come with some select menu items are literally flames to warm the food... -Our waiter took over 15 minutes to bring us our initial drinks, and when I ordered a second drink (when the aptz came out) it arrived at the end of our meal. They had noted"happy hour" prices for beers- of which they had one at that price. I was charged full price for one drink because the manager had not yet announced to the staff the "9 pm" happy hour started (after 9pm) -The side plates were so dirty we handed them back as food fell off them onto the table. - It was noted before that there are younger kids that come, it sounded like a Chuck E Cheeses with kids running around and being loud. ( Not reflective in my star count for the review, just a note for those who may want to avoid this- ) - Our reservation was for 9 PM, we did not even stay for dessert as it took so long for service of any kind, we walked out the front door at 11:40! - 3 people, 2 beers,2 sodas, leaving hungry, $135. - be aware, when ordering aptz that come with bread/dippers etc: we got 4 pieces of bread with the artichoke dip (bland) - the waiter asked if we would like more bread, as there was more than half the dip left- they brought the new pieces 20 minutes later and charged us $4 for the few pieces. Really? We were hoping for something fun and different, maybe it was better when it first opened- but we will never return.

FacTsunami

Amazing food, amazing service... def going again 5 stars

Claudio Santori

I have to say, don’t go there for the sushi (quality is ok) but for sure sit down and enjoy the experience. The stufff was super entertaining and the magician a real pro. Definitely don’t go there on your first date. Maybe the second one.

Gary Beverly

Food was ok but the service and atmosphere can't be beat.

Ronnald Harriotte

The food is great. Atmosphere iis welcoming and friendly. Very intimate and the staff is great! Also, very kid friendly

Christina Rios

Definitely a nice spot (especially for kids) and something different. Ninjas pop out of nowhere and certain dishes come with presentations which are pretty cool. The food is a little expensive but delicious and not much variety. You are really paying for the entertainment. I must say the NY strip steak was cooked to perfection (med well) and was pretty thick

Walker Hagius

Kind of underwhelmed, especially for the price. All the reviews made it sound much cooler than it actually was. I expected the food to be overpriced and just so-so (and it was), but I expected a lot more entertainment from the ninja schtick. I didn't expect to say this, but I wouldn't recommend the place (for adults or kids). I'm not sure if it's gone downhill since all the glowing reviews I read were written, or if there are just a lot of people who are easily impressed with $$ to burn; I kind of suspect the former.

Justin Mathai

Great concept, but only works the first time you visit. Staff are very friendly and entertaining. Food and drink were good as well.

Jeff Tourdot

An wonderful experience!! Service was an A+ , the setting was perfect for my son, his food was perfect, but mine left alot to be desired. I think my food was cooked 10 minutes past well done, when I asked for med. Wouldnt have been so bad, but when I said something nothing was done. All in all my son absolutely adored it, and that was the goal. I guess this one was a take it for the kids kind of place.

Marvin Martian

Great place for the family and ESPECIALLY the kid in all of us. The staff is friendly and the food wonderful. I’m only giving 4 stars because the gas in the kitchen was off because of Con-Ed and so the menu was quite limited.

Rhonda Durr

The best thing was the magician

Dirk Rottmüller

If you visit Ninja for the very first time, it's funny and surprising. But it's getting boring the more you were there. We also missed the Magican on our table (especially my 5 years old daughter) - and also some ordered food of our menu due to unattended servicing. Do I come again? Propably not.

MICA

I honestly dont appreciate the way staff acts about tips. Our group of 4 tipped 30% and the waiter tried telling us a lie prior to leaving regarding the check trying to get more money from us. Then he ran into me once we explained the tip to him, he didnt apologize for almost knocking me over.... I'm 8 months pregnant

Lindsay Baldwin

I was very excited about this experience with my children but I did not know that half of our meal "ninjas" would be jumping out and screaming at us trying to scare us. The food was good but not worth the extremely high prices. I was also not a fan of the $28 kids meals that come with enough food for two adults to share. I've NEVER known a child that could eat that much. Why not give half the food for half the price? There was also a magician that came to our table at the end of the meal. They kind of force it on you (they don't bring your check until after he is done) and then he guilts you into leaving a tip for him even though we just spent $200 ON DINNER!! Needless to say my kids thought this place was fun, I just thought it was a huge money pit with sub-par food. I will not be returning....

Danielle Cortier

Good food. Fun family place! Good magician.

Ilia Malkovitch

Terrible food - grocery store sushi, and pretty lame

Morgan Armitage

Really fun! You're paying for the show and showpiece but the food is quite decent.

Ricardo Penso

The ambiance is great. It makes you feel like you are in a real Japanese village. The service is amazing. The ninjas are ready to scare you and serve you. The food is ok, but nothing special. Its not fine dinning at all. I wouldn’t go again. It is one time experience.

Ruth Castillo

Cute atmosphere and experience. Mediocre food.

LL Creative Social Media Marketing by NY Signs

Unique and entertaining place, I absolutely loved it! It really had the Japanese

luis Fernández

fun experience. Not quite like anything else It has been a few years since I have been here but its one of the most unique experiences I have ever had I got the pork chops and it was so good there was some cool theatrics too that went along with the food. its a great thing to do when there are people in town. We plan to go again next week thats what got me thinking about it again!

Edna Banks

We were a party of four adults and my two girls aged 11 and 13. We had a blast and enjoyed the food and drinks. The magician was so good! This probably won’t be the best meal of your life, but the atmosphere and entertainment made the high prices seem reasonable. We tried to order as many dishes that came with ninja presentation as possible. Must also note that the women’s restroom was such a joy that I went back to the table and insisted that everyone must check it out. For a party of six, including lots of drinks and a couple desserts, our bill came to about $450 including tip.

Jeniffer Breton

It was supposed to be the Birthday dinner for my fiancé. I had made reservations 2 months in advanced, we were coming from Florida. I had made a note on the reservation to have them surprise him. I received a call to confirm the reservation and they even confirmed the birthday in order to have the ninjas sing for him when desert was ordered. We ordered their most expensive fixed course meal, the waiter failed to mention that the last course (steak) didn’t come with sides. My fiancé ordered the lamb and it did come with some vegetables. I would have known in advanced and would have been able to order a side for my steak to come right when my food arrived and NO BIRTHDAY singing or even written on the dessert. $250 dinner (2 people) for his celebration and it never happened. I went to the bathroom and advised one of their “ninjas” about his birthday and nothing happened. I call the manager and his answer on the following day was: Oh I’m so sorry and can send you a T-shirt. The food was decent but do not count that they will go out of their way to go through what you have requested in advanced and they “have confirmed” prior to your visit. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Great concept but poor customer service and attention to detail.

Stan Sorochan

Really cool ninja village restaurant. Fun for kids and grown-ups. Great food, awesome presentation and your own show.

Yoeri vd Velden

Food was better then expected and the people are very entertaining! Definitely try it!

Ayden Reed

japanese food and service at this spot is excellent. Came here on a Saturday. Fast, efficient, and courteous service. The bill was decent.

Andrew Zhang

An experience that I will never forget.

Erin Peterson

Had a great time! Perfect for kids and adults alike. You are seated in a Japanese Village and the ninja servers are always sneaking up on you. The food is good-but the show is better. Our boys had a great time!

Jeffrey Cohen

So your not going here for top of the line sushi... So with that in mind, this is a hilarious if not awkward dining entertainment and interactive experience. Worth a visit if you're with a lively group who will play along and not be expecting haute cuisine...

Marjorie Cucciniello

Fabulous, plenty of delicious food and Ninja entertainment!

Bschneidez

I had great service, quality food, and found the atmosphere very entertaining. Be prepared though, it's more of an active experience than a peaceful meal.

Cheesey Toes

Excellent place for entertainment and food. Our waiter (Charlie) was very attentive and polite. The magicians are amazing and to top if off the food was lovely. 110% recommended to anyone and everyone.

Al B

Amazing place, excellent food

Kevin Beaudoin

Very fun place to go, the waiters are entertaining and you'll have a great time. Only issue is the food is overpriced for what you get, and the waiter kinda seemed rushed to empty the table halfway through

marly arturo

We were so very disappointed in this. The food has horrible. There was hardly any entertainment. They decorated two meals with dry ice and that was about it. My 8 yr old was crushed. Please don’t waste your money on this.

DeAsia Monroe

Absolutely loved it. Great experience and ninja themed atmosphere. Good food and great customer service. Expect to have an amazing time.

I’m not one to write negative reviews but I’m really disappointed with our dining experience last night. I made a reservation for my daughter’s stepping up ceremony, she was so excited to go see ninjas and have an interactive dining experience with her cousin, especially because we had been there before and it was so unique and entertaining. Our waiter was not attentive, we waited quite some time before he introduced himself and even more time before our food menus were given, I felt like we may have been forgotten about. It seems like our waiter wasn’t trained properly or he just wasn’t ready for the job, I could tell the stress of a busy night was getting to him but he didn’t engage with us like the other waiters did to their tables. You could hear all the other parties having a blast and being shocked or “frightened” by their ninja waiters, you’d see the excitement in our kids faces when they heard all the fun going on around us followed by a bit of disappointment because it didn’t really happen for us. The only bit of excitement came from the servers who came to put the food on the table but luckily we made our own fun with our imaginations but we’re not paying to use our imagination, we could have ordered takeout locally and played Ninja at home if that were the case. What’s more upsetting is that I considered going to a habachi restaurant but the dining experience was supposed to be fun and different at Ninja and my daughter really wanted to go back. I understand that no two nights are the same at a restaurant but last night was a special celebratory dinner, our waiter was very underwhelming, the food was good but not anything that I’d have to go back for. Half of our food came separately, by the time my boyfriend and mother-in-law received their food the two kids and I were already finishing with our dinners, we even ate slowly just to see if they’d come with the rest of the food. I almost thought the waiter didn’t put our full order in, I even contemplated getting up to see if I could get a hold of a staff member. I’m not saying we need our waiter to be A1 service every second that we’re there but it should NEVER have to cross our minds that we might need to get up and get someone to attend to us or tell us what’s going on.

Great atmosphere, fun staff and an overall unique experience! Love the authenticity from the costumes the servers wear to the automated and heated seat toilet. Felt like we were in Japan!!! The food was fabulous !

A/o May, 2019 - Edited to remove the spoilers. CONS: I've been to Japan, am half Japanese genetically, and I have grown up with Japanese-American food/culture my entire life. This place serves french fries and mac and cheese and ketchup, so I would say this place is LESS Japanese than even Benihana. AND the servers keep saying the word "ninja" very loudly, which is NOT what an actual Ninja would do/say. PROS: The ambiance for some parts of the restaurant feels like Japan, and they serve Japanese beer and liquor. It's a A SUPER FUN place to visit if you know/care nothing about actual Japanese culture. And they feature an impressive (but not Japanese) entertainment element, which is geared toward groups looking for a different way to spend a night out. CONCLUSION: As of 03/30/2019, it's a worthwhile tourist attraction, but severely less authentic than I had hoped for. Room for improvement, primarily on their menu.

Excellent experience! Our kids absolutely loved it! The entire family loved it from the moment we walked in the door. The staff was great and the ninja theme was on point. The food was good and there were choices for non sushi eaters as well.

This place was awesome! My girlfriend took me here for my birthday but she didn't tell them it was my birthday, which was okay because I heard them sing to at least ten other parties. Perhaps my favorite part was watching my girlfriend freak out every five minutes because they jump out of the "shadows" and surprise you every time they come to your table. The food was also fantastic. Great experience all around. But VERY expensive!!

Fun experience. Great for our 7 year old's birthday party. The food was good and our waiter was really entertaining.

This place is amazing I saw kim lou ho slice a dead pig in half with one stroke of his ninja sword the great haki that was forged in the flames of the volcano zingshang by a blacksmith that was 70 years old who knew the ancient arts of the shorin which was an ancient tribe from the bc era but was wipped out by a mysterious plague and his family was out on a hawain vaction on the time so they were not affected but when his anscestors returned there was a horrific scene they were in tears over thier fallen comrades so they swore to protreccc the sacred secret arts so they migrated to the tall mountans of hAKU to protect the sacred arts until a true champion of champions came to prove they were worthy also i forgot to mention that the PIG WAS FROZEN he sliced through A FROZEN SOLID PIG that is the most powerful blade ive ever seen

The service and food was not that good. Went there to celebrate a birthday and waiter totally forgot why we were there in the first place.

Loved this place from the beginning! The seating is nice and cozy, dimly lit. Our server, Cory, was so great! Always with a smile and kind enough to answer our questions. Explained menu items in detail. Last but not least, our post dinner magic show by Ninja Guo was magnificent! Totally freaked me out! Haha, it was definitely a great experience. Would definitely recommend...

this place was AMAZING! I went with some family and we all had a blast. the decorations where really cool especially the bathrooms, everyone was in their own separate room, not too loud (there was occasional shouting*). everyone working was super friendly and polite, we had a few people who helped us and they all were super helpful and nice. the food was pretty good, everyone in my party got an appy and main and we couldn't finish.*, the pricing was really good considering you got food and a show. I think it came to around 120 and that's with three mains, three appys, a dessert, and two fancy drinks. Overall I was very impressed and would take all my family and friends if I could. (i live in Canada) ****************************WARNING SPOILERS************************** Thier a quite a few jumps scares at the bigging and end of the meal, not during eating. *you could here shouts from other people getting scared (witch scared me sometimes) **The food with a ninja star beside it comes with really cool features like dry ice and fire, it also had a little more of a show with some. a magician came around and did a couple of tricks, ours was really good, you could never tell how he did it and the tricks he did were really impressive (this coming from someone who loves crime/ con shows and can spot how they did it really fast.

My best friend took me to this restaurant for my birthday. We had omakase for $80/person. Everything was fresh and tasty! We sat at the counter! I didn't mind at all. The place was clean and service was amazing!

Cool location, fun concept worth a visit. Food is acceptable not going to blow your mind but you won't be disappointment. The service is great, the concept is fun. A special occasion or when you have visitors in town.

Loved it! The atmosphere, the wait staff, the food! All of it was excellent and awesome. Going in blind the first time is the best way to go, in my opinion, so I won't say too much more, but we had a blast!
