Here we offer you the information of people who are consuming the services and products of Madhuban Indian Cuisine (Restaurant) near to the state of Idaho.
To this day this business gets a score of 4.5 over 5 and the rating has been based on 361 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is practically the best one, and it is based on a very large number of scores, so we can say that the rating is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their opinion when they are pleased with the business, it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to write feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Indian restaurant.
The food was excellent, the best we have had. The buffet had a lot of choices and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely go there again.
My family and I have been eating here for over a decade and they have always served the best Indian food I've ever had. Seriously the gold standard to compare others to. There are so many vegetarian options and the food always has the same amazing recipes year after year. Wish I could give more stars
Always a great experience. One of the best lunch buffet's and probably the best Indian restaurant in the Boise area. Reasonable prices and quality food. Staff are fairly non existent, but you don't need them! They keep everything full and stay out of your way!
The cuisine is incredible and consistently so. I'm a busy woman so I'm willing to pay more to save time. This restaurant takes time yet I'm willing to wait based on their quality. Rare. It's cramped so I usually order take-out which works because I deeply enjoy comfort food in the comfort of my home. Frankly, this restaurant is a #1 holiday option for me since they are open when others are not, and their meals are a gift in their quality.
Great food, and it always seems to be crowded at lunchtime on Sundays, so I most not be the only one who thinks so!
Really good food, you get a lot for what you pay for and the spice is perfect
Amazing, flavorful food. Great service. Will be back.
The best Indian food. Go for the lunch buffet if your nervous not knowing what you’re eating. It’s all delicious but that way you can try a little bit of everything
The food was excellent, the best we have had. The buffet had a lot of choices and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely go there again.
This place is wonderful. It's a small place with a fun atmosphere. We went for their buffet when they have it around lunchtime. The food was absolutely delicious. We drove 17 miles one way just to try it out, and we will be driving 17 miles one way many more times to come. The staff was very friendly and accommodating for us, especially with our 1 and 2 year olds. I definitely recommend that you give it a try.
Incredible Indian food and a great lunch buffet.
The food was great the staff was great. I really like a wait staff to not bother me so much with personal questions. They treated me exactly the way I like. I highly recommend this place.
Don't let the entrance or lack of appearance fool you. Food here is exceptional. From their garlic naan to chicken tikka masala Bombay. Each piece of chicken was perfect - no gristle, tendons or unpleasant texture, just prime cuts. Great spice if you like to feel the heat. Will visit again
Better food than home made. Plus a great buffet from 11 to 230. A great way to try indian food for the first time. A great change from the same old food choices.
Very good food very good service all wrapped in one. Lunch buffet from 12-2pm. I arrived today at 5:15 p.m. and I was seated within a couple minutes $$. Reasonable prices for two people $21 out the door. No complaints and plenty of water to drink.
I came to the lunch and brought three kids. They were nice and quick with lunch services. I liked the food and thought it was a good assortment. There are certain dishes that I liked more here compared to Indian restaurant downtown but they both are pretty competitive. Cheaper than. The other restaurant.
Amazing indian food at a reasonable price. Great happy hr too
One of the best buffets in Boise.
Our favorite Indian restaurant in the treasure valley. Ok, we're not in San Francisco, but c'mon, super tasty! When family comes to town, they ask for it by name.
Always a great place for Indian food. They have plenty of "heat" levels for the food so dont think you have to burn your tongue. Personal favorite is the lamb madrasi.
Always delicious!
I love all of their food! I definitely recommend the naan
The best Indian food in Boise. Maybe one of the only places that makes a complex version of butter chicken/makhani. Chicken makhani normally gets a bad reputation for being basic but it's great here.
Delicious Indian food that always hits the spot. The restaurant is a little small and can feel cramped if it's packed in for dinner. Carryout is a great option to avoid the lines.
Well known long established and award winning. Love the buffet. It gets crowded so call ahead or plan on waiting a bit. You can do takeout also
My family and I have been eating here for over a decade and they have always served the best Indian food I've ever had. Seriously the gold standard to compare others to. There are so many vegetarian options and the food always has the same amazing recipes year after year. Wish I could give more stars
I'm not very impressed with most of the food options in Boise, to be honest. A snobby New Yorker is always a snobby New Yorker, even when you haven't lived there for almost a decade. Madhuban is my favourite food in here, especially their lunch buffet. My only complaint is that being so good, they do get very busy and the restaurant is quite small. It can feel cramped and there have been times when my husband and I decided not to stay when we walked inside, upon seeing how busy and crowded it was. If they ever moved to a larger location I am sure we wouldn't be the only loyal customers that would follow them wherever they went. The food is so good, and there is one waiter in particular who is so polite and attentive. All of the staff obviously work hard. Just great food, it reminds us of home moreso than any other place in this town. Oh, and try the chai!!! It's delicious! I'd happily pay a little more for the buffet if endless chai were included, like it is at Bombay Grill downtown. Anyway, Madhuban is excellent!!
Always a great experience. One of the best lunch buffet's and probably the best Indian restaurant in the Boise area. Reasonable prices and quality food. Staff are fairly non existent, but you don't need them! They keep everything full and stay out of your way!
Lamb vindaloo.....'nuff said....
Tasty and a little spicy! Great buffet!
Awesome lunch buffet
My husband and I went for the lunch buffet and we're not disappointed. Everything was delicious and the price was very reasonable for a buffet. Will be going back often!
Good Indian food, what's not to love especially when you can sample what you like most during the lunch buffets.
3 Start for great food & service. -2 stars for size (comfort) & washroom cleanliness. Loved the food Z great...
Best Indian food in town
Perfect food!!! Taste of heaven My favorite restaurant ever!!!
Food is gross and the staff are extremely arrogant and condescending. Stay away from this disgusting "business."
One of the best Indian cuisine restaurants in town!
Great service. Easy to get a to-go order and worth the wait. Great food!! Im from the east coast this n this place holds it down for Boise
Super delicious place. Love the different style foods. I never know what I'm eating (except chicken curry) but I always come back
Great food. We ordered vegetarian biryani. It was more Pulav than biryani The server was polite. Gave us ample time to decide. The food came quickly. There is ample parking available. There were a lot of people who had ordered take out while we dined in
Food was excellent but it isn't an ideal for a family. No changing station and the Restaurant feels crowded table and chairs are too close together. I kept bumping into someone else when I leave the table . and if your not ready to leave don't pay the check. They'll kick you right out.
Decent service. The food was delicious and the portion was great! Would recommend it.
The food and service are good.
This place is great , i love the food , its so good
The buffet has lots of choices and is always fresh! Their Gobi Manchurian is the best!
One of my favorite places to eat for lunch. The staff is nice, and the atmosphere is energetic.
Best indian food in the Valley !!
Super delicious place. Love the different style foods. I never know what I'm eating (except chicken curry) but I always come back
Being from California, we have had a hard time finding good Indian food. Our search is over. This place is fantastic. We will definitely be back.
This brewery offers a solid menu of beers and food to enjoy for lunch or dinner. I was here for lunch with friends and we all enjoyed ourselves. The beer was OK not great.
Only my favorite place of all time. This restaurant is like Christmas to me! The true meaning of comfort food is here. Food with passion and soul, it will charm you off your feet. Also literally, I spend every Christmas morning in line for their buffet. It's a tradition now. I will always love this place. ❤️❤️❤️
I wish I made enough money to eat here every day
“The best Indian food in the whole world!” says my wife...we’ve tried them all and none of them compare to Madhuban. Their service is top notch also. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Great food to have over here. Really refreshed my memory for Indian spicy food. Really delicious, 5 stars from me and my friends.
This place hours the spot everytime. Food is always fresh.
Delicious food. Love the buffet
The lunch buffet is where it's at. Be prepared to wait on the weekends because it get crowded, everyone knows Madhuban's is the best. They vary their selection so there are always a few new dishes to try
Never leave disappointed excellent food, Excellent service!
Amazing food, nice staff. I really loved the food
We have been going here for about 4 years now. It is always delicious! The naan bread is heavenly! Only wish the inside was a little bigger.
Always enjoy the lunch buffet here. Try the chana saag!
Having been to New Delhi, I can safely say the food is excellent and authentic, and the service is outstanding. Try the lunch buffet- it’s a great value and has a good variety.
The best Ive had yet. Beat Ca,Or,Va and a few other states too. Don't know the names of the food but the goat was delicious, they had like a stuffed pancake with potatoes I think, califlower that was deep fried in a red sauce that was killer, never had either before and made sure to have seconds. Masala chicken was great and the spinich looking food were as expected. Makes me wish I lived here. Best of all, prices are more than fair, so much so I gave them a five dollar tip. Place was crammed full and people were waiting outside. Purely the best per my wife and I.
Amazing food...Never disappointed
Favorite Indian place in Boise! Great lunch buffet. Needs a few more veggie entrees though!
First time here the food was very good but the server didn't tell us what to do or ask for drinks was very vague not happy about that but food was great
There's a reason why this place continues to win the best in Boise award every year. Both our dishes were cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come back and try the lunch buffet.
It was ok food waiter was rude didnt explain anything and everyone was confused.
This my favorite place to eat. Great food and always fresh
Simply fantastic Indian food. Small, but great atmosphere and service.
So good!!! So Authentic and tasty! Loved the service and the whole experience .
Authentic Indian cuisine in Boise. If you're new to the whole thing, I recommend the chicken makhani or tikka masala. Stick with mild unless you really like the spice. I ordered medium and it was really good, but considering that was only level 2 out of 5, I can only imagine the scorching you'd get going any higher! Also, order the garlic naan, you won't regret it! Great service as well, we were even given extra rice to take home with our leftovers.
Wasn't for me. They had a wide variety on the buffet but the taste didn't hit the spot. They're tea on other hand was great
Good food and variety. Enjoyed their lunch buffet. Service might not be the best given that you are going on for the buffet. They do get packed on weekends. The servers were kind and the food was good. Will definitely be returning here !
Had dinner here last week. Had curry with lamb, chicken, and shrimp. So good. Also had the garlic naan, which I really recommend as well. Staff was friendly and a nice, quiet atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Best Indian food in boise, trust me I'm from England it's our national dish
I go here on Fridays because they serve fish that is awesome!
Absolutely just rude and ignorant
I always go for the lunch buffet! I'm vegetarian and there are always enough options to fill me up quickly. There are also a lot of meaty options for the meat-eaters. The food can be spicy, but not too spicy. They leave a pitcher of water on your table in case you can't take the heat, but it's generally not bad. My favorite foods are the panel and the naan with the mint and red onion chutneys. I can never wait for dessert because the rice pudding and fruit salad are delicious! I think the fruit salad has a mango sauce that sets it apart from other fruit salads.
Love love love this place! Food is so good! It's cozy in there but I don't mind. The food is so good I'd sit on someone's lap to eat if I had to :)
Had to lunch buffet it was amazing
Food is eh, but better than other Indian restaurants I’ve had in Boise.
Great buffet, great food!
Great lunch buffet! Love the tandoori chicken.
Best Indian food in Idaho
Madhuban gets my vote for the best Indian food in Boise! The highest compliment occurred when taking friends from India to eat here and hearing them rave about how the food was "just like home"! The lunch buffet is a great way to sample various flavors and the naan bread is spot on. Make sure to check out all of the various chutney sauces, so good!
It was terrible
It's very difficult to find adequate Indian food in the Boise metro area. Which is why finding Madhuban is such a ruby among garnets. Superb food, with "you will ask for go-to container" portion, and the service was brilliant.
Buffet here is cheap and always ALWAYS delicious. spicy food is not too spicy. you get plenty of water for wimps like me that can't handle too much spice. they have plenty of non spicy foods. staff is friendly too. I like to come close to 2 ish since the rush of lunch ppl is already gone. lots of other new Indian places have popped in the valley, but my husband prefers this one from all the others. we have been to all the others.
Wasn't for me. They had a wide variety on the buffet but the taste didn't hit the spot. They're tea on other hand was great
Really good ! !
I love foreign food! Great place to grab an exotic meal. My husband had been to New Delhi, India last year and enjoyed this place as a reminder of his trip. Authentic Indian taste. A hole in the wall, but always busy. That's a good sign. Make sure to hit the lunch buffet!
Delicious Indian food with a great variety of vegetarian options. That salad means what it says when you read "spicy" on the buffet. Love the fried cauliflower, naan, and chai tea! Very busy on Saturday!
I only know of one other Indian restaurant in Boise but both are good. This restaurant is small and can only seat so many people which means that people have to wait. However, waiting is worth it. The food is consistently good comfort food. The prices are quite reasonably considering it’s all you can eat. Go after the rush and you will be fine
Best Indian food in the city, hands down!
Please don’t serve spoiled food during buffet’s!
My family is Gluten free, and most of the food on the menu is Gluten free. The waiters are very helpful in letting us know which dinners are Gluten free. Even the daily buffet is almost completely gluten free.
Honestly the best food I have ever eaten!
I have eaten here a few times. Best Indian food in Treasure Valley. Amazing atmosphere and service, most importantly amazing and delicious food.
I love good Indian food and this place serves it up. It's a little small and can get crowded during the rush but you can't beat the food nor the price. LOVE IT!
Love this food great service I will be back
Good food and variety. Enjoyed their lunch buffet. Service might not be the best given that you are going on for the buffet. They do get packed on weekends. The servers were kind and the food was good. Will definitely be returning here !
Best Indian in the valley. Most often destination for our date nights. Their Coconut Nan may be one of the best things I have eaten. You can't go wrong on the menu- and their buffet in the days is top of its class. $11 for a little bit of everything.
Shrimp Korma was quite good. Service was good also.
Best curry in the valley. Buffet style is great for lunch.
Great place, vibe, food, service.
Love this restaurant, we have been eating here for many years. The food is always flavorful and every time we have the buffet, we discover something new. Seating is tight so be prepared for a wait during rush times, but it's worth it!
Very good food here. Food was fresh and full of flavor.
Always the best!
Tried for the first time today. The serving staff was fantastic! Extremely attending and helpful, it's very appreciated! Good was great!
Best Indian food in Boise
Great buffet!
Was working in the area with an electrical engineer from India. He had a relative here who suggested this place. I am not Indian, but I do like all kinds of food from around the world. When we pulled in, there was little room and we had just made it before the rush of the day. I was the only American in the place. It gave me high hopes to know that almost all of its patrons were native to India. The food did not disappoint. The only advice I would give is to avoid their busy times. It is excellent food, but waiting too long for service, and being cramped in the dining area can diminish the enjoyment.
We've come here for years and I still consider it to be the best Indian food in Boise. Maybe that's not saying that much, but we've tried the other places in town multiple times and I always return to Madhuban.
I went to Madhuban with my boyfriend and his family on a Sunday around 6:00 pm. I enjoy going to Indian food restaurants as a vegan, because I know they will have a variety of options for me. I got the deep fried cauliflower, Gobi Manchurian, at a level 3 spicy dish off the vegetarian section. It was DELICIOUS, I had everyone try it and I loved it! They always give large portions and it's very authentic. I would have rated them a five stars, but our water pitcher was not refilled once for a party of 5 people. Anyways, great place.
Really good Indian food like from a home. They really want to please and were a little offended that I didn't eat much of a side. Very accommodating to my specific order
Never had Indian before, but I would say this place is a good experience.
Amazing traditional Indian food, one the best ethnic cuisines in Boise
As wonderful as always.
Decent Indian food for the price.
We came for lunch and enjoyed the buffet. They had good options for both vegetarians and meat eaters, which is important for a mixed family like ours. Overall there was a good variety and the flavors were good. Our family of 4 was just over $40. We will be back again and again.
Really good food. The server helped with suggestions and was very efficient. I will probably go back
Impressive menu of Indian dishes. Very good food.
My family and I loved it!
Best Indian in Boise. Lunch buffet is always good. My dinner Sunday night was excellent.
Probably the best Indian in town. The new Indian place on eagle road by Buffalo would wings is likely better, but not by much. I've always loved this place!
Great indian food! Their buffet is the way to go for lunch but you may feel a little rushed.
Amazing Indian food!
Decent and tasty Indian food.
Incredible! Maybe the best Indian cuisine I've ever had! Really cozy atmopshere and the service is outstanding!
Awesome food! I would say authentic Indian food in Boise.
The best food ever
Buffet is average. Neither good nor bad. But the service over there is pathetic. Unintentional mistakes are common in any restaurant, but here they do it purposefully. They are rude and don't want to listen what you are saying. We were first not given a table even when a table was available for 6 people and we 6 had to sit in a table which can accommodate only 4. And while we were eating, they tell us that in 5 minutes they are closing, means we will have to finish and leave. No words to express how bad it is.
Very good food
We ate all vegetarian dishes and everything was delicious.
As well as being the best Indian restaurant in Boise, Madhuban has easily the best buffet as well. The fruit salad is worth the price of admission alone if you ask me, but if that's not your thing, the wide variety of flavorful curries, as well as other staple dishes like juicy tandoori chicken, and fresh baked naan will make sure that you keep coming back for more. And don't worry if you can't handle spicy stuff, in my experience the only things that are typically spicy in the buffet are the "Hot" chutney (duh) and the Tandoori chicken, which for a very moderate spice lover like myself never gets past a general mouth tingle, and it's worth noting its spiciness seems to vary slightly from day to day, so often times it's practically mild, but just as delicious I assure you. Don't be afraid to dine here for dinner as well. Although it can seem expensive if you're used to the all you can eat business model in the afternoon, it's still worth every penny, and is just a fantastic experience all around. Wait staff is always prompt and respectful as well, and it has the unmistakably cozy and quaint atmosphere than only a family owned hole in the wall restaurant has. It's just a great place!
Great food! Buffet isnt huge but it has all the popular indian dishes. I was not disappointed
I've had a hard time finding Indian food that I enjoy in Boise, but Madhuban was pretty good. I was about to walk out when I found out it was buffet only and not dishes made to order because of my Gluten intolerance (also I hate buffets 99% of the time - see luke warm, mediocre food). The gentleman running the restaurant took me through the buffet line and told me which items were gluten free and which items weren't. I didn't have any type of contamination issues after eating there. I would like to see the menu expanded just a little bit further though.
Really love this place. Have only eaten lunch buffet here but go frequently. Food is always good and always flavorful and fresh tasting. Friendly staff. It's a perfect place for a quick lunch as you just grab a plate and help yourself. Prices are also reasonable. Can't go wrong here!
Great food!! Excellent recommendation. If you dont like spice don't go above mild
The best Indian Buffet I have ever ate at, so damn good. I wish they had a bigger restraunt to add more selection and room to eat and add dinner buffet.
I've been to the AYCE lunch buffet a few times, always very happy with the variety of dishes, the wonderful spices and flavors are a real treat. And the rice pudding dessert is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and happy to answer my questions about the food/ingredients.
Best Indian food in Boise! This place is great. Everything is fresh and very tasty. They run it like a well oiled machine, and you’ll have fast service and excellent food. Got a half hour for lunch or you’re out to leisurely kill a buffet, this place has you covered. Tons of flavors and great options. I’ve been here many times and the consistency is always superb.
Great food, quality service, authentic feel.
love this place! always amazing food that's super authentic. took me right back to India
Wasn’t impressed with the quality or taste of the food. I’m from Utah and they have much better Indian. I hope there are better tasting Indian in Boise.
We came for lunch and enjoyed the buffet. They had good options for both vegetarians and meat eaters, which is important for a mixed family like ours. Overall there was a good variety and the flavors were good. Our family of 4 was just over $40. We will be back again and again.
My absolute favorite food in Boise - I would eat here every day if I could! Great service and casual, friendly atmosphere.
Best indian buffet in Boise. I like their goat and lamb curries.
Really good food. The server helped with suggestions and was very efficient. I will probably go back
By far the best Indian restaurant in the Treasure Valley. Been going here for year and theylir food is always delicious, fresh and flavorful!! Great prices too.
Love this place
Best Indian restaurant in the vicinity and on par with and better, even, than restaurants in large cities I've visited around the country. Small and popular is a difficult combination, but the food is worth it. Their buffet is the best value, with a slightly changing offering every day.
The food is always great! Yummy yummy! :)
I love Indian food and have been eating it since I was a child. I had never been to this restaurant before, so I ordered "Lamb Curry, Bombay Hot" (on a scale of 1-5 Bombay is the hottest). That's my test dish at any new Indian joint. The curry was the best I have had in the West, and I've had curry in about every major city west of Denver. The service was great, the nan was on par, my only complaint is that I think it was a little pricey.
Favorite Indian place in boise
Very good flavor, loved the all you can eat buffet, being able to test out different foods for one price is always enjoyable! Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because there's not lots of variety or many options. However, what options are available are very delicious! Best gulab jamun I've had yet!
Without doubt, the worst meal I've eaten in a long, long time (and I eat out all the time). Poor service (we waited 40 minutes after ordering for our meals to arrive) only to be served-up with the nan breads and rice 10 minutes before our main dishes. The meal was bland and lacklustre. If this passes for the 'Best of Boise', it say's very little for Boise. I've eaten (genuine) Indian for all round the world, including India. This is categorically not Indian food - it's a very poor approximation of it. Two of our party are now being ill as a result of our visit to this establishment! I had to give it one star in order to post this review. It didn't deserve it.
If you’re hungry don’t go to this Indian eatry. Terrible place to eat.
I prefer Bombay Gill downtown but this place isn't bad.
Omg nothing else I can say but delicious amazing food!
Best Indian food in Idaho by far. The buffet is the way to go. One of the few good ethnic restaurants in Boise.
Food is always delicious and fresh.
My favorite place to eat. They make amazing Indian food. I highly recommend the lunch buffet. Very kind employees and cooks. The space is a bit small, but I think it creates a neat vibe. Can't wait to go back for more!
The staff are very helpful and pleasant
