Obviously its difficult to understand substituting a burger patty with a chicken patty on a Swiss mushroom burger. Let me bring you some crayons so you can draw it up. Hire some wait staff that doesn't require that we hold their hand while they write up our order! Its pretty bad to have 4 different people call and make the same order and elk 4 hang up because its like talking to a 5 year old on the phone! -justin

Kitty rivers. I'm sure they would have been happy to do that for you. But, they don't even have a mushroom burger on the menu. But, they do make them when someone ask. Always try to go out of the way to please. Some days we do more off the menu meals than what is on the menu. I know because i have worked there for 25 years straight. And off and on before that.

As soon as the previous people lost the restaurant and Julie took it back over, it went right back to the same great place it was before. I used to think I'd never set foot back it there and we've already eaten there 3 times in the month she's had it back. Wonderful food and pretty good service. Love their pies. For this area, the price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. I've never left hungry or feeling like I didn't get my moneys worth

Wasn't blown away by my experience, but it wasn't completely awful either I guess. Food was rather disappointing. I had the chicken fried steak and it tasted like a TV dinner. The vegetables were either from a frozen Wal-Mart bag or a can and there was more water than vegetables. When we got there the waitress told us to seat ourselves anywhere, however, when we started going towards the back she told us except for there because she was going to be cleaning back there... never did go clean back there. The fries were good, I tried them from other plates. I hear good things about their milkshakes but I didn't have one while we were there. The waitress who served us made us feel like we out her out the entire time. I felt bad just asking for a refill on my water. We will probably stop here again after another hunting trip as it's nice to have a hot meal after being on the mountain and eating nothing but MRE's... But the whole experience was nothing to write home about.

Great place to stop and eat, the food is hot and tasty and the atmosphere is laid back. The servers are welcoming and keep your cups filled. Don't forget to get an ice cream cone for the road.

My husband had chili and raved about it. I had a BLT. Not much can go wrong with it but it was pretty good. Strawberry shortcake topped it off well. Young waitress could have smiled more or at least acted as if she wasn't being held captive. But, all in all, she did her job. Cook was friendly.
