Seems like they have fewer food choices than other Chinese buffets in the area but maybe it's just the layout. Plenty of room for large groups. Good service. Nice wait staff. Try the chicken feet in black bean sauce.

I cant believe that we got food from here. Use to love going the and all you could eat and thought it would be nice to have it take out. pork fried rice tasted like soap. They said they would replace them. 2 mandarin chicken the chicken cooked well but sauce horrible. Runny and no taste said they would give us more sauce to put over the the old. beef lo mien oil and no other flavor. she didnt acknowledge that it was bad. shrimp lo mien tasted off like bad shrimp again no acknowledgement This was a really large order and she wouldn't take ownership of the problem. Just that she would talk to the kitchen. This was from this was from the manager...... it was not worth the one star. I cant believe how bad this was.

I went for the dinner buffet and was not disappointed! They had all things I enjoy...Chow Mein, Prawns, fried rice, Mandarin chicken(all white meat), pork and seeds plus much more. Very clean. Beautiful setup. Perfect Customer service. I have enjoyed this restaurant for years and will return.

I'm giving this 4 stars mainly for there excellent steamed buns. We got here between 5:30-6pm right as dinner was starting on a Monday. You could tell a lot of the food had been sitting out for a while some things had dried out to much to eat. As the dinner crowd came and fresh food was coming out it became much more enjoyable. They food was nothing to special about what you would expect from a lower end all you can eat buffet, but the steamed buns were absolutely delicious.

I go to this Buffett all the time. The service sometimes varies on who you get and when you go, but it has never been terrible or even bad. The food is pretty good and the prices aren't bad either. They even have a Mongolian barbique bar and a dumpling bar. They have sushi as well that unfortunately I can't eat due to allergies but my husband finds it very good.

The lunch experience was lovely. Super clean, well laid out buffet. Many, many quality dishes. Tasty sushi. The place was packed in the main space, and their was a party of 50 in the banquet room. Easy to maneuver. Sue, the owner was very pleasant, as were the servers. Very attentive. Thank for a real nice experience . See you again.

By the time we got there the lunch crowd cleared out and so were most of the food pans. Almost every pan was empty or had barely a spoonful of food left in it. So our choices were limited. What I did get was very good though. Just need to keep on top of refilling the trays. If your gonna pay for an all you can eat, you'd like to be able to choose your favorites!

Not the best Chinese food type buffet I have been to. Have been here a few times since some family members like it, but I have a hard time finding a dish or two that tastes good and fresh (for a buffet even) and not a little off. Definitely don't recommend their sushi rolls either, which is low quality even for a buffet.

Typical. Nothing crazy special. Last call in order was 45 min longer then stated. The egg rolls are huge though. Heard the buffet is good, but as most people state, it's just because the free ice cream :/ will revise when we dine in.

Under New ownership, and it really shows!!! The restaurant is clean, the food choices are spectacular, they now offer sushi on the buffet. The food is always fresh and hot!! They still have the Mongolian BBQ option included with the price of the all you can eat buffet, the wait staff are friendly. We love this place, and will keep coming back.

Service was great, restaurant was clean. Food was only ok. I was underwhelmed by lack of selection and flavor. Desserts were all really poor quality. The food was typical Chinese buffet selection but with poor quality. The pot stickers were rubbery, sushi was inedible, egg rolls were dry and bland. The soups were ok and the ice cream was good. Overall will not be coming back here

This is just based on my opinion. I love their custard and pork, dim sum. I stick to the same thing just meat, dim sum, and sugar dounuts. I have been going there since I was a child, after church. It's good but I don't favor the variety enough for the price. Best place to get dim sum

The price is ridiculous for the lack of food. No one goes to Chinese restaurants for American food except children. Chinese spaghetti? Really? Not only did it look bad it tasted bad. The only thing edible was a few of the meats and rice. The egg drop soup was chicken soup with egg added. Total loss of $45 bucks at a place I will never return to or recomend to anyone.

Good variety in the buffet, from dim-sum to sushi. You can even build your own stir-fry. Some things are a bit bland, but others are surprisingly good. They also do a great job of rotating out fresh items regularly.

I enjoy how fresh they keep the food. They cook small batches and refilling often, which is the best practice for buffet. The green beans is crisp and tasty. My other fave are the egg rolls and mandarin chicken.

If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered off the menu when someone finally took our order. Then we wait a while to get food, if you can call it that. It looked like leftovers from a week ago that got microwaved. Reluctantly I took a bite and as soon as it hit my tongue, I spit it out. SPOILED FOOD! Told waitress it was inedible and I didn't want to pay for something I can't eat. She said let me get manager, we waited 30min. with no one in site, we got up and left! I always see tons of cars in the parking lot and people say it's good but, based off my one experience, (it was so bad)I can't bring myself to go back! I don't know how they have been in business so long!

We love this place, do not be afraid! The staff is friendly, the buffet is wonderful, the very best Chinese we have had in all of Idaho! The options on the buffet are so vast you will not be disappointed. Each choice is unique in the flavor. The soup is very good. There are American food choices to appease children etc. They will make a fresh pan of any dish if it looks even remotely unappealing, but they are on point so it probably won't be an issue. They also serve portions off a menu. The dessert bar is a little sparse but the ice cream is the real deal made with cream and after a full belly I find it to be a perfect ending.The atmosphere may be considered dated by some but I see it as authentically nostalgic, it is all about attitude. It appears to have been originally decorated in maybe the late 60's to mid 70's and remains unchanged but well maintained.They are open late which is convenient but they have a nice special Monday through Friday from 3 to 5.

Nice looking place. I've eaten at a lot of Chinese buffets and I must say the food was the worst I've had(wife too...couldn't eat her's either). Sushi had to be factory made, hot and sour soup below par, every main dish I sampled sour and nasty tasting. Salad bar and ice cream ok...did not finish 1 plate. I told the cashier and she said sorry. A $30 mistake...never again.

I am usually no fan of the Chinese buffet. However this was excellent. I can't say enough about the service. Now it's a buffet.so waitress don't usually check to make sure you are doing well. In fact they checked on me three times. Refilling my soda twice. So my waitress took great care of me. The food was tasty and really fresh. thanks again

I always enjoy Jade Garden. The buffet is my favorite part but they have lots of other good food. It's not usually very crowded which means we can get right in and sit down. And there is a lot of selection from sushi to dim sum and other classic Chinese food. The staff are always friendly and courteous they greet you with a smile and are quick to help you.
