Awesome place to eat and the food is always freshly cooked!, The best part is when I ordered a Dilly Bar, and Banana Split. Dairy Queen is a nice place for family, especially on hot days and they have their air conditioning on. 5 out of 5 stars. Great place!!!!

Amazing sauces. Brisket B+... lacking smoke ring (not always required but nice for presentation) and smoke flavor from the wood. Currently Franklin BBQ in Austin TX is what I hold everyone else up to. However, Very moist and pulls apart easily. St Louis ribs A+, fall off the bone yet has good chew. Beans were a little too sweet but overall very good, appreciate the random chunks of meat. A definite must try!

Took almost a half hour to get my food after walking in the door with only 4 people in line and two in the drive through. The front counter girl was rude, and upon receiving my food, I get back to the jobsite to find no chicken on my sandwich. Absolute terrible service, will never go again. And they had an inspector in the store! If you're doing your job right, you shouldn't have to worry about the inspector.

Service was horrible!! We’re here out of town and hadn’t had Dairy Queen in years. It was a busy Friday night and they were super understaffed. Not only that, the staff they had there were strung out and exhausted, Leaving them tired, snappy, and a bit rude. I don’t want to blame the staff for the service as I am a restaurant General manager myself. But the GM should have been there and should have been helping themself. Our order was wrong and by the time we got our food our ice creams were completely melted. It was just a horrible experience and we spent seventy dollars. Bummed out. I feel terrible for those employees. Hopefully this understaffed issue isn’t a regular occurrence.

How does Dairy Queen run out of vanilla ice cream doesn't almost everything they make include the vanilla ice cream well that's what happened to me when I went there as they ran out of vanilla ice cream so apparently they don't know how to quite get the orders done so hopefully after being open for a little while they will get more on top of it until then I will continue to go to the other one that's further away from my house by these guys figure out their job. They also used chocolate ice cream in my daughter's on order instead of vanilla hoping that I guess she wouldn't notice which was wrong

When the place first opened the service was terrible and food was cold, but things have gotten much better lately. I’ve been going for a few months now and have enjoyed good service and the food has been consistently hot and delicious each time.

Smoque is always great. We ate there a few times now and its perfect. If your in the area, it is definently a place to stop by to get your BBQ. Pulled pork and fatty brisket, mac and cheese as well as the cornbread is all we get.

Don't let the line out the door stop you from going to Smoque the staff and kitchen work fast and the line moves quickly. I had baby back ribs which were pretty good, well smoked and seasoned but the star is the chopped brisket which was great with the Carolina style sauce. a little pricy but bbq usually is but the killer is 2.25 for a 12oz can of soda. all in all worth the visit.

Manager was some old lady with grey hair that kicked me out because i was doing the milly rock dance move behind her and said she would press charges and 1 other employee was very rude and kicked my friend out for no reason and wasnt reasoning with us. Some of the other enployees were nicer but the manager was extremy toxic and should be re trained.

Consistently excellent. The meats are amazing - smoky, tender and layered flavors. The chopped brisket has all those great charred bits and a nice balance of fat. The sliced brisket was thinly sliced, juicy and tender. My favorite were the baby back ribs. Such complex flavors and just the right chew. I'm a fan of ribs dripping in sauce, but these don't need it. Mind you, the Memphis and Carolina sauces were great, but the ribs stand on their own. We tried the pecan bread pudding, which had crispy pralined pecans and was not overly sweet. Nice. The mac and cheese was fine. Could have had a more cheesy flavor. We went mid-afternoon on a Sunday and didn't have to wait. The staff were all very friendly.

This dude told me that he wanted to try one Chicago's Best (tv show) Briskets (he wants to try pretty much everything on the show, you know...to see what he thinks!). So I went on their website and found Smoque BBQ to be the most viewer requested and listed as one of the best...people weren't lying. We went here Sunday (before the storm hit) they didn't disappoint on anything. Dude got 1/2 & 1/2 platter with a side of brisket chili, macaroni and slaw; I got sliced brisket platter with a side of mac and cheese, cornbread and slaw (slaw is an automatic side)...they didn't disappoint! I haven't had brisket in awhile and can't compare it to any I've had, hands down the best so far (I'm on a mission to find "another")! The mac and cheese was delicious, especially since I thought it was going to be basic (sorry), cornbread was good and the slaw was good too. Dude said everything was delicious on his plate, said the chili was really good (I don't eat chili personally but, it looked delicious)! The BBQ sauces are good, depending on your liking...they have thick and bold flavor and the thin vinegary flavor. I'll be back and the pictures don't do this place justice! Also, it wasn't crowded when we got there however; they stay busy. People are in and out and delivery drivers from different food apps are there to pickup constantly. Definitely returning!

I have been to this franchise on 3 separate occasions over the past year and a half, hoping that maybe the service would improve. It hasn't, and is without a doubt the WORST I have ever patronized. The employees are obnoxious, they bicker and complain constantly in view of the customers, I HAVE NEVER HAD MY ORDER FILLED CORRECTLY, and twice I have received drinks that were made wrong - the last time I got it in a dirty cup. I love Dairy Queen, but this one is seriously in need of a change of ownership and supervisor who cares about putting out a quality product for the price that they charge. SONIC IS JUST UP THE ROAD! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO THERE INSTEAD!

Wife and I tried the brisket, pulled pork, and 1/4 slab of ribs & mac’n cheese, beans and cornbread for sides. 4 stars because everything else but brisket was really good, thoroughly enjoyed it at all. But my brisket was so so so disappointing that I wouldn’t be lying when I say I forced it down just to finish it. I don’t know if it was just the piece I was given since it was corner piece but it was agonizingly dry piece of brisket barely any juices. It had good crust but the meat itself was not enjoyable if it wasn’t for their amazing Memphis bbq sauce.

Most of the people who comment on bad service came at a busy time it's unreasonable for you to assume that a worker with 50 other orders and someone waiting at counter, while the entire place is under staffed to give you exceptional service. Most of the time, especially during the summer, the place is packed, and when its not you're greeted with a smile and true workplace values. When it's packed however customers tend to get grumpy and get served food quickly and efficiently, anything saying that "You weren't even treated human" is false, the thing about paying "full price for a water cup" is also a lie it's 25 cents and if you were charged full price it was because you tried to take some soda. If you complain about the service while it's busy you've clearly never worked fast food. P.S- The chicken bacon ranch with a fudge stuffed cookie is the best meal you can get.

Saw this place on Diners Driveins and Dives. I had to try it out this trip to Chicago. The place lived up to all the hype from the show. I had the brisket and St. Louis ribs and both were amazing. Parking was a struggle but i eventually found a spot and enjoyed my lunch. Definitely worth the trip when you're in the area.

Hunter was very professional and helpful. When I went back to get something I ordered to be picked up after, Hunter asked another worker, Mallory, to get the product for us. First she said she was busy doing something. Then she walked off and eventually the product appeared on the pick up counter that Hunter had to get for us. Mallory was unfortunately very immature and unprofessional and the wait time is not worth going back to this dairy queen, because they are usually slower. Today initially was not bad. I hope that Mallory gets the training she needs to become a responsible employee, because when she is out of school and gets a job, nobody is going to put up with this kind of behavior.

Well, giving us the frozen before the actual food isn't the way to go. Spoke to management and they were sadly rude. In the conversation, they blamed us and wouldn't even give their name. And at the end of the conversation, she hung up on me. Really professional... don't eat here, is not good... and the management are so lame. Unprofessional and sadly, they were in need of the unenployment line. Avoid this location at all costs. Update, the district manager was going to refund my money. But sadly he didnt follow through. It's coming up on a year and multiple phone calls and the expected happened. Terrible company, haven't been to them since. I've told over 30 people of my situation.

We live 3 hrs away and figured we would stop since we were in Chicago and we already cant wait to go back. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and felt welcome. Oh man, if you like good bbq, then this joint is the place for you! When we went, it was a slow Sunday afternoon and by that I mean the line was only to the door and not all the way outside! Things I liked...even with a line and the place being packed, a server asked how many people were in your party and found seating for you by the time you had ordered. The food is amazing! Great brisket and pulled pork with two sauce choices, we had a veritable smorgasbord of meat with sweet or spicy at our fingertips! We took the kids and they enjoyed the mac and cheese though I found it to be a bit bland. I love, love, love the brisket chili! What great smokey, spicy flavors! Definitely a bbq lover's dream come true!

If you are into BBQ, Smoque in Chicago is a BBQ experience that you don't want to miss out on. Their ribs: Carolina and St. Louis-style both use dry rubs consisting of spices, tomatoes and vinegar in a very balanced fashion. What's particularly special about these ribs is that you can really taste the smokiness of the meat. Unlike other popular styles of BBQ, the meat here do not come off the bone completely, which I learned that the chefs have done intentionally to give the meat more texture. Their briskets: Texas-style and by far my personal favorite thing to order here. I prefer the chopped version because of the perfect mix of fat and lean meat. Every brisket should taste like these: moist and tender with good textured, smoky, and well balanced in terms of flavors. All in all, every dish here deserves a try. All the meat can be enjoyed by themselves but you will find their house sauces, from sweet-tangy to peppery-spicy, a pleasant addition. Finally, you won't break a bank eating here. As a matter of fact, they are extremely affordable. Always a win in my books.

I think I am very verse with bbq and throughout my experiences this far, I gotta say this place is by far my top 3. Very original, friendly staff, and above all great bbq. I mean VERY tasty ribs. The only negative thing I can say is that it is a little dry, but that is very subjective. Try these ribs and you will not regret a single thing.

Worst DQ location. Don’t know how to run a gift card or make a blizzard properly. They’re slow and incompetent. Do yourself a favor and just go to Sonic. I ended up paying the $10 for two blizzards because they didn’t know how to run a gift card and said it was declined. I checked it when I got home and the balance was on the card. They also got the order wrong, and one of them was half unmixed vanilla.

I think it's worth the wait and dealing with the crowd if you want some great food. Or, they take to go orders if you want to skip the lines and eat at home.

The lobby was (physically) open, but they refused to serve us because they were supposed to be closed. So upsetting. If you're closed turn off your open sign. The lobby was still full of people and had no appearance of being closed. They told us we would need to go through the drive thru instead, which we did. The food was terrible and they messed up our order. I won't return.

Smoque is a great place to go if you want real BBQ. What ever you crave they have. The brisket is amazing and the portions leave you wishing they had a nap room in the back. Pulled pork or chicken more your BBQ style they have it. Meals come with 2 sides and you will not be disappointed with any of them. The slaw comes with everything and is as good as Mama used to make..... Maybe even a little better. I have not even mentioned the sauces which pay homage to several of the places you think of when you think of real BBQ.

Never had an order be correct here unless it was a blizzard. I went inside to ask for their allergen menu only to be told I couldn't be helped right now because they were too busy. He didn't even try to mask his irritation. It's so sad that I have an alergy that controls my life and kids like that seem to think they're the ones being put out. I asked him if he could get someone else for me and that gentleman seriously just reached behind the counter and handed me one.

This is a great place to get BBQ, we especially like the pulled pork sandwiches and the smoked chicken. This is not fancy, and don’t go if you don’t like BBQ, as that is all they have on the menu. We usually order carry-out and try to avoid busy times like Friday or Saturday night. They always get the order correct, and if you go in at the time they tell you to pick it up, then you won’t have to wait long for your order.

To start, the drive-thru menu speaker shouts greeting at you with a surprising “HI” !!! I ordered a 1/2 lb double cheese burger ($5.19) and other foods. When I opened my burger I found two plain patties between two soggy buns. WTF! It’s a simple job. Come on!

I like that I have access to many of the food so drink items ordered at a full service Dairy Queen, but the paired down menu leaves me a little frustrated. That coupled with the very young inexperienced staff who have little since of urgency and to place a cherry on this sundae of a review is they open and close at 10 am & pm respectively... So, I'm left with a 3 star review. There room for improvement. Couple of positive feedback points: The staff, albeit young is helpful, and seem genuinely happy to help without much eyerolling or gum smacking angsty, "Yah, whatever's". The building itself is clean, laid out well and easily accessible for with or without special needs.

This is a restaurant inside of a gas station. The food here is also way more expensive than the Dairy Queen in Centerville. I have no idea why either. I generally only get blizzards here. Also they don't seem to keep specialty blizzards on their menu as long as other stores. With that being said, when this place first opened, they employed some pretty scuzzy people. However they have new staff now, who seem to work hard, and efficiently.

Very clean and the service was good but the kitchen needs to make the food fresh like every other DQ. They have chicken tenders precooked hanging out on the counter in a plastic container, not under headlamp, and they refried the fries. So the tenders has no crunch to them and the fries had so much oil in them and were horribly soggy. Lasty, they didn't put butter in the toast. Honest mistake but worth mentioning. As long as they start cooking the food as it's ordered this could be a very nice place.

One of the best BBQ places in Chicago. This is smoking done right - great bark outside juicy tender inside. The chicken is one of the hidden gems on the menu. It is never dry always very tasty. The sides compliment the meats wonderfully with the dessert options growing and getting better all the time. Perhaps the best thing in all of this for a SC native is the delicious sweet tea.

Loved DQ since I was a kid! Service at this location is fast and friendly, and the drive-thru moves quickly when you need it. Can be a bit crowded on busy summer nights and the menu is much more food-focused than it used to be (nice if you're hungry), plus they're selling Orange Julius too (if you'd prefer a smoothie). Always worth a trip for a blizzard though!

Very good brisket, Mac n cheese is baked nicely, BBQ beans are good but not my favorite. First time I ordered there my chopped brisket came out cold, I was kinda disappointed but it was still good. Second times the charm, I got half n half sliced and chopped. Came out way better hot likes it should have been. I could have asked them for a reheat but I haven't eaten anything that day so I just said screw if and ate it. Great food nonetheless, I will continue to come back to Smoque BBQ for the brisket and Mac n cheese. Definitely a place to try out if you love BBQ.

This DQ is a statement on the power of the Dairy Queen brand. I am disappointed in some way about half the times I go there, usually because the service is slow in the drive through, but I keep going back. The people working there are nice and I haven't had them make a mistake. The food is below average, but you don't go to DQ for the food. You go for the ice cream.

Sorry for the low rating.. I came in because I saw all the good reviews and my expectations were high. Maybe that is why I did not enjoy the food as much as others. I could have made better meat at home and I’ve had better at other bbq places. The meat was tender but almost tasteless. They offer sauces which were also pretty bland. As a bbq place this is pretty sad, but again it’s probably because I’ve had actual BBQ... I also got the Mac n cheese, not that good either. I came with a friend when visiting Chicago and we both regretted coming here... I guess if you haven’t had good bbq anywhere this will taste okay but because I’ve tasted real good meat, this did not compare at all. Great staff and cute place though!

First, the customer service here is truly second to none. The staff is friendly and accommodating on every level, even in ways that aren’t expected. Second, the food is outstanding! I had the brisket and my wife had the pork. Our sides included corn bread, Mac n cheese, bbq beans, and fries. They have an assortment of sauces to try as well. You cannot go wrong!! DQ's obsession with proving that their milkshakes are cold (by holding them upside down and not providing lids that can go around the already-inserted spoon) fails to take into account that car interiors are warmer than freezing, and that they will become a melty disaster in about two minutes. Put a lid on it. Initially I was going to rate more harshly and leave my review at that, but the taste of the food and the ice cream, melted or otherwise, made everything better.

Reportedly the best barbecue in Chicago, and solid by this central Texan's standards. No lines at 11:30 on a Friday. Friendly staff. Go with the chopped brisket - lots more bark than on the sliced. Coleslaw is super oniony; servings of the fries are huge. For a modestly priced meal for two, get the meat platter with two sides, and "add a taste" of a second meat - should work out to < $30 for two.

Everytime I come to this dq im very disappointed. Where I live this is the closest one to me. Like tonight I expected to get some ice cream on my way home from christmas shopping and yet again, disappointment. There hours are listed until 10pm and I come at 9:15 and they are already closed. If I come at nighttime they are always closed or they have already taken down there ice cream machines prematurely. If l come for an early dinner im still dissapointed because usually my food is gross and overpriced. I have officially given up on this establishment. If i want delicious and quality dq I guess I will have drive all the way to Centerville.

Saint Louis Ribs were okay. In my opinion they were overdone and I'm guessing this is normal for their style. Brisket was not smokey at all. Tasted like fatty roast beef the only thing that saves it is the sauce. Smoke ring was not thick enough. Sides were good, good slaw, Mac n cheese. I'm very picky about smoked meats because I do allot of smoking.

Every time I eat at Smoque I end up asking myself why I don't eat here more often. Intellectually I know the food is good but when I'm actually eating it I'm struck by just how tasty it is. Great brisket, ribs, smoked sausage, etc., are matched with terrific sides, like mac and cheese with a crispy top crust, beans with onions and chunks of brisket, and what are, in my opinion, the best French fries in Chicago.

I’m not sure why this place gets 5 stars by most people. It was my first time here, as I usually go to Earl’s BBQ which is closer to me. This place has been established longer and I expected a great meal. We came here a group of 4, meeting friends we haven’t seen for a couple months. For about $14 I ordered a sliced brisket platter with Mac and cheese and bbq beans- it also comes with a slaw. The brisket was very tender and overall flavorful, but not that much meat. The beans were soupy and vinegary and I did not like the flavor at all. The slaw was nothing special and the Mac and cheese was actually very good, but a tiny portion. After I ate everything on my plate (I was hungry) I wasn’t hungry anymore but I wasn’t satisfied either. For the same price I get to choose a platter with two meats at Earl’s, baked beans that are delicious and I’m blissfully full and satisfied after. Also, while we were sitting and eating something started burning in their establishment and smoke started to gather. They opened the doors but it only intensified, it bothered our eyes and we left. Now all four of our winter coats and all of the clothing we had on have to be washed/dry cleaned. I understand it was probably a once in a long while occurrence but it also did not help our experience.

Known for great Chicago BBQ. Got a beef brisket sandwich and pulled pork. It was good, but was expecting something more magical from what I heard about this place. Was more impressed with the gumbo. I also enjoyed the Cole slaw. The staff is very efficient.

You have to eat here. It’s amazing BBQ. When you go, forget about your diet. Just eat and keep eating. The brisket, pork, corn bread, Mac and cheese....I can keep going. It’s all amazing. Absolutely buy the bread pudding.

Wow! This has to have been my worst experience usually we stop here once a week and today whoever was at the drive through was very RUDE told us "we could go somewhere else" she first made and hold for a while and then we gave her the order so we did and then asked us to slow down and so we did and then she straight up told us "to go somewhere else."

This is definitely my favorite place! Great BBQ! In my opinion briskets are the best, but baby back ribs are awesome, too. The sides are also good. I would recommend beans and mac n cheese. The portions are huge, so 1/2 of the portion is absolutely enough for one person who likes to eat a lot!

Paid for a blizzard to have oreos and peanut butter cups in it, just got a bunch ice cream. This isn't the 1st time next time I'll be going to TCB Y where I get the toppings and things that I want in my ice cream

We went there to get some ice cream because that's why you go to Dairy Queen to get ice cream if you order anything else you have to expect us to wait a while because they only knew ice cream. I didn't try any of their other food but their salted caramel truffle was made quickly and it was very delicious. I would recommend it to anyone.

I've only been to this location twice, but both times the service has been incredibly slow. Personally I find Dairy Queen to be overpriced for what they offer. Their ice cream, to me, isn't any better than somewhere like Sonic, or even McDonald's (if you're just looking for a cone).

I chose the summer Berry cup fiction treat and it was pretty good it was quite good. The only comment I'll make that I think is kind of annoying as you could smell dirty grease burning away wafting through the air of the parking lot and drive open till. I'm home now an hour later and the smell is stuck in my nose. I recommend changing the grease in your fryer otherwise pretty good DQ

The neighborhood treasure serving most delicious ribs and brisket. As authentic to St. Louis as you get without driving for hours. Even if the line is around the corner it is worth waiting for. Staff is helpful, organized, and efficient. Enjoy.

This Dairy Queen is the best. Milton, who might be the manager helped us out. We arrived at DQ just about a minute after he locked the doors. It’s attached to a Maverick so we went in through the other doors to ask if the drive through would still be open, but it wasn’t. I was so disappointed that we got there late and missed them being open. We just wanted a couple Blizzards! Milton was nice enough to let us come in and order! (There were still a few people in the dining area.) He was so nice and it totally made our day. He even gave us a coupon for a free cone the next time we came in. We live a half hour away from the closest DQ so it meant a lot to us that he let us get a Blizzard. Thanks, Milton! You’re the best!

The service is good and fast. The food is absolutely delicious. Even with a long line extending down the sidewalk, the wait won’t be long, but most importantly, it will be definitely worth it. We had baby back ribs, added on some pulled pork and brisket. We also tried the Mac&cheese and the cornbread. Everything was cooked to perfection.

Anytime we are craving BBQ, Smoque is without a doubt in ourtop 3 places to eat. It's a bit out of our way so we don't visit often, BUT thanks to Caviar we order it to be delivered.

Would not bother to write a message on the ice cream cake we were buying. I know they can do it. The guy made a million excuses then barely made an effort to see if they could then said they didn't have the bags to. I don't know how he could have known that as he didn't even leave the register area and didn't ask or talk to any other employee. Why would they sell blank cakes if the can't put a message on it? When we got home noticed the cake has lent mixed into the whipped cream frosting. GROSS. The drive back isn't worth it.

From the complete rudness of Eugene the "manager" not only with me but with every customer in line while waiting for food seems all he wanted to do is hang out in the back ordered 4pc chicken strip basket came out burnt and rock hard top it off gravy for strips was cold I might be more understanding if it was close to closing but it's 6:30at night and I've eaten here many times the other crews would never allow this

First visit was a few weeks ago. They did beautifully. All was warm, fresh and correct. The workers were attentive and cared about their product. Tonight this was not so. The drive through person did not make the effort to either understand my order better, or input it properly. I took my food inside to get it corrected. The lady at the front was willing and tried, but, it was still wrong when it came back from the young cook. I eventually took home something that was about 80% correct after three tries. There were plenty of people working, but they all seemed inexperienced and not in control of their surroundings. I may not go back. At least, I will not use the drive through.
