Picked up a 2 pc combo awhile back; definitely nothing to write home about! Decided to try again tonite. Ended up walking out! Waited forever for service, gal in front of me finally left. Gal finally came from back with tray of chicken, put chicken with other, walked from behind counter, walked right past me to another door --- all the time never once acknowledging me, no eye contact, looked other way when she walked by me. I walked out. Won't go there again!

Did not enjoy it, over cooked chicken, to much pepper in the gravy, potatoes were like the gravy did not taste good at all. The honey for the biscuts was bitter, there was no corn even though the menu said there was. The ice machine for the drinks was broken so I had to walk my kids to the liquor store to get ice. To top it all off it was over priced for food I had to throw half of it away. I will never buy food or refer this place to anyone. 2 thumbs down, big disappointment.

I had heard great things about Chester's Chicken, so I finally decided to try it. Let's just say, it's a good thing I'm on meds for high blood pressure. The chicken was very salty! Other have told me that it must be a one time thing because they have never experienced over salted chicken eating here, but I'm still undecided if I will try it again.

No biscuits that came with meal...were out. Offered one potato wedge n saidcno..asked to replace with extra cost a corn..told full price! No sauce thats suppose to come. No napkins. I could of waited on myself! First n last time I eat at Chesters in Ontario Ore.. Loves truck stop.. I do like at least a live person to wait on me.. One star for the chicken pieces

The chicken here is AMAZING, so I understand why people hate this restaurant! The JoJo's are dipped in chicken breading, and deep fried too. If I had money I would be buying some right now. The only thing I have yet to th is the deep fried corn, but I want to, desperately!

If you don't mind waiting, ask for fresh food. I stopped in to grab some chicken liver. Being from the southern part of the US, I was raised eating liver. Chester's is one of the few places in the area to offer them. I was stopping at Love's so I figured I would order some as I don't make it that way very often. When I opened my box, I was hoping for some hot, crispy fried liver. Instead, I received hard bricks of cold breading with little rubbery pieces of liver inside. I'm not an overly picky person but they were so bad that I decided to return them and ask for a fresh order. I was immediately met with a negative attitude from the lady who was working at the time. I was told, in an extremely snarky, rude tone, I would have to wait. I already assumed I would have to wait for them to be made so this wasn't a big deal. About 5 minutes pass by and I noticed nothing has been dropped. I continue to wait. I then notice the lady pulling some piping hot liver from the fryer. She boxes them up and hands them to a gentleman who ordered after me. I was a little taken back but I continued to wait, thinking the next batch would be done soon. Another 10 minutes pass by, in which time the lady began cleaning a different fryer and cleaning up around the food case. I asked her how much longer for the order and she responded in a very stern tone, "I TOLD YOU, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT!" I asked her again for an estimate and sge said she hadn't even dropped them yet. At this point, I get a little upset but figured since she was cleaning a fryer that she was about to make them. About five more minutes pass and she comes out with a pan of liver. She drops them in the fryer (not the one she just finished cleaning) and makes a fresh batch. After they were done, she boxed them up, placed them on the counter and walked away. The lady's attitude throughout the whole thing was terrible. She treated me as more of an inconvenience than a customer.

I don't know what the low ratings were for. I have been in several times and I received fast courteous service and the chicken was hot and delicious. I will definitely stop there in the future.

If u could give a 0 I would . Came in at 11:44 am. They didn't have any chicken up and then when we said wanted a 16 piece meal, they said "16 piece? It's lunch time and we'll run out!" Isn't that want they sell chicken? Why were they surprised they people wanted chicken for lunch at a chicken place! Left without ordering anything. That's a $32 sale they lost.

Slow, snail pace slow, watched as two people took 25 minutes for one order and I was the only one there. They forgot to give me silverware, went back in and at that point I didn't even care about them not including the drinks to either combo I ordered. It made me cringe watching this girl fumble and drop a pan at least 4x. Hilariously frustrating.

We love to come here. Boneless chicken strips are flavorful and always piping hot, fresh, juicy and big compared to other fast food places. JoJo's are too. Get there early in the evening if you want some because they stop cooking at 7:00 pm. Great value, too! The 3+3 for $4.99 can't be beat.

I usually get Chester's from Loves. The tenders are too dry here. And even though the were reportedly made within the past 30 minutes the texture feels more like 4 hours old. They charged me for a 3 Piece Tender Snack, but, the potato wedges are extra? This is my first visit since the remodel and possibly the last. Thanks.

I ordered a 4 piece chicken meal...dark meat, dried corn (out). I said potato wedges. She gave me chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni was so horrible my dog wouldn't eat it. The fingers where white meat. Avoid the place. It's in a gas station. Customer service is great if you're Asian or Indian, otherwise they don't care.

So it turns out that Chester's Chicken is a Shell station across from the Mexican restaurant I ate it la flama. I stopped and got some tea and a couple candy bars because La flama doesn't have dessert. I don't know if I know anything about the Chester's Chicken thing though.

So, first off, this is a gas station chicken joint. Just like you wouldn't expect Papa John's quality from a Hot Stuff pizza, this isn't even KFC grade. However, so far as gas station chicken goes, it tastes okay, hasn't made me sick, is usually fresh, and a $10 meal actually seems like $10 worth of food. They have a great selection of sides for a gas station.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. Biscuits were so burnt you could substitute them for a hockey puck. Chicken was undercooked. The potato wedges would make good firewood. Mash potatoes were the consistency of playdough & the gravy... Well id rather not say. And all this coming from someone who thinks WalMart brand frozen corn dogs are a 5 star meal.

This place SUCKS! We ordered a bucket of chicken meal that comes with 2 sides and biscuits; and a large chicken gizzard . Chicken was really old and greasy, definitely past the safety time limit! Too long under heat lamps! The gizzards were under cooked - cool and bloody in the center! We got one of the 2 sides that was supposed to come with our order! Oh yeah, and try to call these people to tell them something was wrong with the order! YOU CAN’T!!! The same number is displayed on 3 different websites, but when you call you get an error message saying the number is no longer in service! How very convenient! Do not go to this establishment....if you can even call it that! I would give this place negative stars if I could, but google makes you give at least 1 star. Not worth the star!

Ordered what we thought was a 3 piece snack. Ended up with a 3 piece combo. It was easier than trying to correct the clerk. All the sides were crusted over and old. Only had brown gravy. Everything was old and leathery. Chicken had more spice on it than any other location in the US. Travelling is my occupation and this was a first.
