I have never been more impressed with a busy diner staff. It’s crazy busy here because is Labor Day and they are handling it like a pro. Our server Kristina with the blonde hair was a sweetheart and on top of her game. I’m so happy we waited in line here food and service was 5/5. I will definitely come back when ever I’m in town. Love this little hole in the wall boise brekkie classic. Good diner coffee, swift service and ticket times, and g r e a t food. My favorite is the bandit breakfast sandwich. Also super affordable, tip your waiters big! Everything is faster and better here so instead of spending $30 at red feather brunch, get more food for half the price at Capri and give your server a fat tip.

Found this place on Google this morning, after seeing the high rating I wanted to check them out. Walked in and loved retro diner look, our waitress was friendly and gave me some great recommendations since it was my first time coming in. I highly recommend the cowboy potatoes, we got our food served to us super fast. Biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak is what we ordered, all of it was delicious, my son destroyed his plate, even the coffee was noticeably delicious. I'll be back again very soon!!!

This place was amazing! The waitress here is beautiful and friendly. She really seems down to earth and feels like she knows you personally. The food was also amazing. I got fries but now I wished I got those cowboy potatoes instead. It's not that the fries were bad it's just that the cowboy potatoes were absolutely amazing! This place was delicious and I'll definitely be back for me!

This was a nice little diner that we stopped in for a quick breakfast. It was very inexpensive, however, the food matched the price. The hash browns were flavorless, the steak I got was very low quality. I can't give this place lower than 4 stars due to the price and the nice atmosphere, however, the food could have easily been better.

I have been a patron of the Capri since I was a small child and my mother work there. The food is really good decent home cooked food. The wait staff are courteous and friendly and make sure you're well taken care of. Isle of the Capri!

If you like movies.... You definitely get that pulp fiction diner movie scene feel immediately when you walk in. Food is fantastic service is excellent. Wish this place was open 24 hrs but I'm sure 9 hours is plenty of work considering how popular this place is.

The chicken fried steak is great, and eggs were cooked to perfection. Demma was our server, and made sure we had everything we needed. So very friendly. I want to try everything on the menu

GRIMY TABLES, FILTHY MENUS. If the environment is filthy, what can you expect from the food! Sticky menus, food debris on table & seats. Dust was caked on all the greasy condiments. We were so grossed out, we cancelled our order. The waitress just looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. She DIDN'T offer to clean the table, or comp my coffee or the soda we didn't finish. Everyone I've spoke to about it, says they had a worse experience. DON'T GO HERE.

By far my favorite place to go to breakfast. They don’t have much seating inside but the food there is amazing. You can get yourself homemade pancakes to homemade chicken fried steak. Whatever it is, it’s always tasty and will fill you up!

I have been several times now and it's been excellent every time. I usually get the load biscuits and gravy but I also have gotten the French dip with tots. The portions are huge, the price is low, the food is very tasty and the staff is very friendly and fast. What more can you ask for when dining out?

I give this place 5 stars for service and 3 stars for food, so 4 stars is the average. This is an old school diner type of a place and it had a nice vibe to it, but if the food was amped up a bit to match the service, this place would be a winner all the way around.

First time at Capri.. small “diner” that I decided on as it was close to my motel and was rated so high. Getting there Sunday around 9 a.m. I figured it wouldn’t be too busy- wrong answer! One booth or seats at the bar were only available- so booth it was. Seat yourself, coffee within 5 mins, order within 10 and food within 10- not bad considering that the placed stayed full (excluding several bar seats) the entire hour we were there! Was gonna go to Elmer’s (old tried and true) but am happy with choice of Capri. Son had “loaded biscuits” and I had “meat lovers omelette”- very tasty and size portion was good for the $. Would not hesitate to recommend Capri’s!

What a bad place this has turned into. My mom had biscuits and gravy, they were old biscuits they were hard biscuits. She didn't eat it all. They wouldn't even discounting any of it. She didn't ask for free just a discount they said no. Not a good place anymore.

If you’re looking for a modern take on a classic diner, this isn’t it. Capri probably hasn’t changed much over the last few decades and is everything a “small town” diner should be. 11am on a Tuesday and the place was about empty. Lots of staff standing around looking bored but that meant quick service for me. Quick coffee (thanks for the vanilla creamers) and vegi omelet w/ a side of corned beef hit the table shortly after. It wasn’t fancy but it was exactly what I wanted. Took my time and read the paper while I enjoyed it. By the time I finished cup 4 of coffee it was filling up with the kind of “call by name” people that obviously come here a lot. Almost no tables left at 11:45. I’ll be back.

Honestly the place is so small it's pointless to go after they open. Tried twice and there was a huge wait. They don't take a list so you have to stand in line the whole time, which sucks when someone is disabled and can't stand for long periods of time. Not rating poorly because they are popular, the way they handle it is extremely unorganized.

The service is to seat yourself and is a very relaxed atmosphere, all Americana. They have been in business for decades, fast service and very pleasant food. My husband is diabetic and we needed to ask for artificial sweetener because they have only regular sugar on the tables. Service was great, we enjoyed our breakfast.

Hands down my favorite diner in Boise, the perfect little hole in the wall to sip on a cup of coffee and browse through the Boise Weekly. My usual is the Veggie Hashbrowns, hits every food group and like the rest of their dishes bigger servings that are large enough for 2 people! For biscuit and gravy lovers looking for something new this is the spot for you, they are definitely delicious and unique. Homemade cinnamon rolls to satisfy that sweet tooth! Most of the servers have been here as long as I can remember and know how to take care of you.

I've had better.... But I've had a lot worse. I know everyone wastes time worrying about health, but ya gotta use a little oil when you cook hashbrowns. And I always thought sausage gravy would have a little sausage in it. Overall good food, depending upon your taste and texture preference.

The Capri is a Boise gem that never disappoints. We stopped in, after having not dined here in a number of years, for breakfast. Our order came out correctly. Eggs dry scrambled just as requested; you wouldn't believe how often this is messed up other places. The hashbrowns were crispy and we REALLY appreciated that they weren't swimming in grease on the plate! The coffee was really good, too! Service, as always, was friendly and inviting. Thank you!! :)
